Q1: On the first date, where do you want to go?

Aira: I want to bring my date to see the lottery premiere of my favorite movie! To bring us closer and learn more about each other, won't that be the perfect chance?

Eichi: You would want to make a good memory of your first date, right. How about letting me bring my date to a place that has beautiful scenery they can enjoy freely?

Rei: I will invite my date to my favorite jazz club. We can enjoy an atmosphere that's different from normal life, and they can listen to my favorite songs ♪

Here is a graph for their first date question! All of them are indoor-type, but Aira and Rei really like to be inside. Rei and Eichi are more of the leading type, with Eichi leading more than Rei, while Aira likes to enjoy the time together!

Q2: Your favorite subject?

Aira: I got bad grades, so I don't really have a favorite subject. It would be great if all the classes turned into idols' lessons, I wish.

Eichi: When studying, I don't confine my range of knowledge but try to master a lot of different fields and learn every day. You can say that every subject is my favorite.

Rei: No matter if it is an art class or a science lesson, I'm good at every subject ♪ However, when you talk about my knowledge, I feel that I have been accumulating more humanities knowledge.

Aira: Our 'unit' talked about the next time going out together, about where we should go and I had sent a lot of suggestions. The four of us planned to discuss our destination and we would decide later!

Eichi: While we were contacting each other about our work, I had invited everyone to have tea with me. Instead of spending my time alone, spending it with everyone feels more relaxing.

Rei: I finished my work and I contacted everyone saying I would get some eye rest. And thanks to the message, Kaoru-kun had come and woken me up ♪

you really couldn’t tell if they were proud of their hard work or the results.

your eyes met the sunlit forest behind mao’s gaze when tsukasa interrupted you with a soft pat on your shoulders, “we should get going now or we’ll be late.”

your eyes snap over to his and you find yourself nodding slowly, looking back over at mao who gets up off your bed with kohaku in tow.

mika and leo bid you good luck with a hug and words of encouragement by the car then wave you off.

now, it’s just you, tsukasa, kohaku and mao (tsukasa and kohaku who actually got invites, and mao who is your +1 since natsume said you could invite someone for moral support, if you so wished. ‘my mother is a special case, so you might just need it’, as he put it. to not raise suspicion he will officially be presented as kohakus +1, though). you and your boys against the world, as always.

with a quick text to natsume to let him know you’re on the way, you tell yourself there’s nothing to worry about, everything will be just fine. the 5 eccentrics and your boys will be there, what could possibly go wrong? with that you zone back into the current conversation.

“-’s absolutely no way i’m gonna get along with mr. strawberry top, like, ever.”

kohaku rolls his eyes, “ya said th’ same thing ‘bout leo n’ look at ya now. yer like brothers.”

“we are not!”

“you totally are,” tsukasa joins in at that, “ousama said so himself.”

“they’re right, you know. you and leo bicker exactly how you and haku do. denile is a river in egypt, mao.”

the redhead turns around in his seat to look at you while huffing, “can you stay out of it?! or stop with the clock app jokes, at least?”

there's a chorus of laughs while mao returns to his seat with his arms crossed. he knew he should’ve stayed home.

natsume sakasaki and his mother were busy greeting the guests slowly piling into the building which was decorated with silky maroon and white ribbons and roses. with each passing unfamiliar or familiar face and quick pleasantries, the redhead grew more restless waiting for your arrival. 

he simply couldn’t wait to see you.

he engaged in idle conversations with some of the guests when his mother beckoned him over, only to smile bashfully at their praise and act like he wanted to be there.

then, in his peripheral vision, he saw a familiar pink haired man step out of a fancy car. he found his head turning at lightning speed to confirm if what he saw was right. to his delight, it was.

“sincerest apologies, my most awaited guest has just arrived. please excuse me,” he spared a glance at his mother who smiled at him in turn with a knowing glint in her eyes. he turned to speed walk to the entrance and down the stairs, where he met with kohaku and tsukasa.

“hello, good evening, i’m glad you could make it. natsume sakasaki, pleasure to make your acquaintance,” said the redhead with a fancy little bow to give them the good old ‘razzle dazzle’, as wataru taught him back in the day.

“tsukasa suou of knights, but i’m sure i don’t quite need to introduce myself. this is my distant cousin and member of crazy:b, kohaku oukawa.”

“pleasure t’ meet ya.”

natsume spared a smile at the relatives. they did look quite alike, now that he sees them next to each other. he was familiar with tsukasa, and kohaku seemed nicer than he first assumed. 

a second later a confused frown grazed his expression. he couldn’t see you or mao anywhere.

“they’ll be out ‘n a second. y/ns’ mentally preparin’.”

just as kohaku finished speaking, the doors on the other side of the car opened and out stepped mao, who closed his door and walked over to yours, helping you get out and linking your forearms together– as if he were your partner for tonight, natsume observed.

his plotting of mao’s downfall came to an abrupt stop when his eyes landed on you in the maroon dress you sent him a while ago. the dress was gorgeous in itself, but on you it looked absolutely breathtaking. 

perhaps he was simply biased, but the beauty of the dress fades in comparison to yours.

for his current lack of coherent words– or perhaps the excess of ones caught in his throat, ones he’s too afraid to utter– he finds himself simply nodding a greeting to mao, and staring at you with what is almost akin to hearts in his eyes.

“good evening, sakasaki. nice party you got going,” mao nods in response, only to promptly get elbowed in the ribs by tsukasa, causing him to let go of his hold on you to rub his aching side, “dude, what the fuck?”

“i thought i told you to behave like a human being.”

“ya were expectin’ too much from an avid y/n fan.”

“okay, first of all, rude–”

you whacked all three of them upside their heads as a warning, then turned to natsume.

“hi, i hope we’re not late..?”

“just.. just on time, actually. um, let’s–let’s go inside, shall we?” he offered you his forearm, which you happily linked yours with and flashed him a gorgeous grin.

when you started walking up the stairs you turned your head back slightly to glare at your friends over your shoulder.

tsukasa let out a sigh, mao shivered, and kohaku simply continued looking around as if he were innocent.

this is gonna be a long night.

I can't believe ya brought western sweets, even though you used to like Japanese sweets so much.

Tsukasa: I, of course, still like Japanese sweets. But, I started giving interest in Western sweets, as well.

Anyway, in this Global era we live in, I don't think it's natural to get too caught up in the Genre of Japanese or Western sweets/confectionery.

If you keep your mind closed, you will not be able expand your knowledge.

Kohaku: Ya sound so proud about it...that you're seriously startin' to sound like a Westerner.

If you eat the Japanese sweets I brought, ya might change opinions.

Tsukasa: Fufu. I'll take those words right back at you.

I recommend the Gateau Chocolat. It's rich in flavor, with the finest Chocolate and it also has the mellow aroma of Cacao...

The Orange Peel adds a nice Accent and the aftertaste is, of course, wonderful!

Kohaku: What's with the gateau chocolat? Stop acting coquettish. It's just a chocolate cake no matter how ya look at it. [1]

I brought 'Daifuku'. Don't underestimate it as just a rice cake filled with sweet bean paste, look at it properly, got it? [2]

The politicians who run Japan bring these gifts as souvenirs, and they're not ashamed to present them anywhere.

Hajime: The black of the gateau chocolat and the white of the daifuku... I think it's just a coincidence, but they're very contrasting!

Kohaku: You're right. Looks perfectly fit to put it in black and white, huh, Bon?

Tsukasa: That is true. But of course, my Gateau Chocolat will surely win.

hinakasa wip snippet - superhero x civilian

happy sunday here's a wip snippet of something i am very excited to finish soon (it's not angst..!!!!!!! a miracle!!) (it's also an attempt at humor which is... not my specialty but it's getting there i think!)

it's based on a prompt where a superhero is meeting his civilian boyfriend's family for the first time over dinner and is running late. i thought this premise was very funny, especially having yuuta being the judgemental family role (he was born to be a hater)

Hinata called Tsukasa, swearing to take off one of the countless heart emojis from his contact name if he got sent to voicemail.

Dialing… dialing… dialing… and then a beep of the call going through.

“Ah, hello! This is Tsukasa Suou, thank you for calling.” He sounded breathless, and Hinata distantly heard a car alarm going off. “I am unfortunately engaged with something right now, may I ask your--” An awful crunching sound cut him off which Hinata deeply hoped was not his nose breaking. “Your name? And I will call you back as soon as I am able to.”

“Honey," Hinata sighed. “Did your suit’s Caller ID break again?”

“Oh, Hinata-kun. Hi darling.” Tsukasa’s tone flipped on a dime, his smile oozing through his voice. “Yes, it did. I thought it would be more resistant to the um, battering, but it appears to need more upgrades. I’ll fix it this weekend, hopefully.”

Hinata tapped his fingers against his phone case, finding little comfort in the cracked plastic that needed to be replaced. “Do you know what time it is?”

“Well, the internal clock broke too, but don’t worry! I know dinner with your brother is at 6:30. I bought those chocolates you told me he likes, the spicy ones. And I have been mentally preparing for the past month, as you have advised. You gave a rather long list of topics not to bring up, but I have it memorized and thus I promise to deliver an outstanding first impression to your brother.”

Hinata loved Tsukasa, he really, truly did, but he could not stop the pained groan from escaping his mouth.

“Tsukasa-kun,” he said. “You are very, very, very late.”

“What?! No, but I left work on time! Darling, I-- hold on--” A minor explosion interrupted Tsukasa, and after a few more booms and the sharp crackling of flames, he resumed speaking. “I swear on my honor I was out the door on time, even a few minutes early. I haven’t been fighting that long, have I? What time is it?”

“It’s enough time that Yuuta-kun is, decidedly, not impressed with you. Or fond. Or even likely to approve of you by the end of the night,” Hinata said. “Listen, dear, honey, darling, sweetie. Yuuta-kun is going to kill you. He is going to pull you limb by limb and scrutinize you under the world’s largest microscope and make fun of you. This is inevitable, because you are just so very late.”

“Hinata-kun--”

“And I am warning you,” Hinata continued, pinching his nose as if Tsukasa could see his exasperation. “If you are not here in the next five minutes, then you won’t need to worry about Yuuta-kun. You are going to have to worry about me killing you. Not Yuuta-kun, not whatever villain of the week you’re fighting right now. Me. Me. Do you understand?”

“Yes, dear. Of course. I will be there right away, I promise.”

“Good!” Hinata cheered. “I’ll see you then. Love you lots!”

“I love you too. Goodbye, Hinata-kun.”

Final chapter summary

Since I got the Bonita Mystery Magazine with the final chapter, I wanted to write a summary of it. If you wish for photos of a certain scene let me know and i can show them. I added some showing design changes. Please be aware that I don't understand japanese so take those with a grain of salt. Heavy Spoilers under the cut!

The chapter starts when all fighting is already over

Lykos and Chakuro (both playing a part in the final fight against Thanatas/Liontari, i guess) reunite with Nezu, Ro and Suou. They all hug

It seems they are looking for Liontari, but seems like he dissapeared

Shinono and Kuchiba talk, seemingly about the fight or the Mudwhale (they look at the Mudhwale and mention a fish at least).

Lykos runs towards her brother, who is heavily wounded but still alive. Kannavi, itia, the insect squad and the jesters are all around them. Orca is talking about Kitrino and forgivness. I guess he still can't forgive himself?

Some NPCs are searching for Ouni and Shuan. Ouni is unconscious when Shuan finds him and begs him not to die.

Byakoroku (supported by Neri) appears. Shuan seems to be blind and asks who they are. Byakuroku performs a miracle so that Ouni may live without the energy of the Marked and the Mudwhale. He doesnt appear to be sure if this will work, yet he still gives up his life force to save Ouni.

Ouni wakes up, Shuan regains his eye sight again and says it's really a mircale. He (kinda) hugs Ouni, when everyone else arrives.

Back near the Mudwhale, Hammy leads Chakuro (and his friends) to talk to Neri. She says goodbye. Since they (as in Chakuro/the Humans) chose a world without the Nous, the Nous children and the Mudhwale have to go. She assures them that it's not a sad goodbye and that it's a journey for them.

Liontari and Skia (the Emperor) also say goodbye, explaining that Liontari became half-Nous and has to leave with them. Skia says a lot of stuff, as usual. Aima sulks. I don't think she wants to leave. Also there is another Nous child with long black hair. Kinda looks like a Daimonas, but I could be wrong.

The Mudwhale starts moving, Chakuro and co run after it as they recall they good times they had living there (Chakuro remembers Sami as well).

Rochalizo sees a ship of Amonlogia behind the Mudwhale

The cast says goodbye to the sinking Mudhwale as they wave towards the Amonlogian ship. Chakuro narrates the "The Mudhwale was our entire world" speech and that they only just started (their new life) now.

We get a lot of short scenes of the future now that I will sum up shortly

Atsali seems to take on a leader role over the remaining ships and people of the Empire and makes peace with Amonlogia

A city is being build on Kivotos that becomes the autonomous region of the Mudhwalers. The village of the People of Kivotos is also being repaired.

There is no longer any difference between marked and unmarked, so Shinono and Kuchiba finally feel like being a proper Parent.

Itia and Orca have a son. Orca is disabled and can't move much nowadays though.

Rochalizo leaves and founds a new country where he reigns. Later, Ginshu, Tonoko, Nezu (+ Donti) join him there.

Suou is the first Leader of the autonomous region, who also leads them unto the sea later. They discover a sea of water beyond the sand and more and more people seems to travel there. Ouni supports Suou in the leader role. He seems to be living just fine, but needs more sleep than other humans?

Shuan lives with Rasha in the autonomous region. After she dies, he joins Suou on his ship.

Seems like the Mayor after Suou is Lykos. She marries Ro and they have a daugther.

Some time later a new Mayor is elected and she, Ro and their daughter join Suou. Chakuro narrates that they have a lot of adventures together.

Chakuro and Kikujin travelled around the whole world to record the history of it. Last scene we see is them in the House we saw in some flash forwards before. Chakuro hopes that some day someone will find his records to see their story on the sea of sand.

Lucky for you, Anon, I finished those lists recently. I had P1 brainrot and finally got around to redownloading the emulator I had for P1 and both P2 games. tatsuya is so fucking pissed at his entire family all the time and actively avoids all of them i dont actually remember the reason hes upset with katsuya specifically now. but he is. hes like, That cunt. i think its not for any particular defined reason or action and just a consequence of Complicated Family Relationship

katsuya is so worried about his little brother all the time and just wants him to be, like, safe, and not blatantly in need of some kind of counseling. hejust does not really know how to show how much he cares and the way he does from tatsuyas perspective jusr comes across as like. overly strict. but katsuya is trying so hard to look out for him.

like all sibling relationships its. This Can Only Exist The Way It Does Because They Are Siblings. but like aside from “theyre brothers” i cant think of a really stand out element about it. like tatsuya tries to avoid Most People and him avoiding his brother is not significantly different. the way they treat each other is, like, almost the same way they would for any other person they met who was similar, just, with a lot of History behind it so there’s different Context.

Kohaku wouldn't say he didn't know Hiiro, he was one of Aira's best friends and Rinne's younger brother, but they really never had a one on one conversation before, they always had someone from alkaloid or Crazy B around when they actually saw and had a chance to actually say a few words to eachother before going back to their routine of exchanging small gestures when they met on occasion.

That started to change when he first started attending school, the subjects were hard and way to difficult to understand on his own, he relayed his worries over to Aira who suggested Hiiro as a tutor, he could ask suou for help but he couldn't take the embarrassment from being coddled all day while trying to understand a subject he had trouble in so Hiiro was his best bet.

Their first few meetings were awkward, Kohaku didn't know how to act near Hiiro, Aira had warned him about the red haired outgoing loud personality, who at their first meeting had given him a tight hug, to which kohaku went as pink as his hair, and after seeing the other's reaction apologized before leading them to their study spot. After their third meeting the initial awkwardness had dissipated a lot from where it started, the younger idol felt comfortable enough to participate in small talks with the other or even receive some of the small touches Hiiro liked to give his friends.

Their meetings started not being confined to just study sessions after a while, with Kohaku being the one to break their usual routine asking if they could go to a new cafe that just opened as a thank you for helping him with his studies, to Hiiro asking if he wanted to go to an aquarium that just opened. After a while they would just go to eachother's dorms just to spend time together, it was really nice having someone else his own age, besides Aira, to spend his time with.

At first Kohaku didn't find it weird, he would do that with Aira if his roommates weren't on the verge of trying to kill eachother at every single second. That is until he was hanging out with the blond in a new cafe he heard had the best sweets in the neighborhood.

"Ah, I think I've been here with Hiiro-han once"

He remembers he was the one to ask Hiiro to come to the place with him as a thank you for helping him again with another exam. At the mention of the red head Aira dropped the menu he had been intensely looking and clasped his hands together.

"That's so lovely~ you two make such a cute couple" Aira sighed "Hiro must be a handful sometimes but go easy on him the way he shows his affections can be quite strong sometimes" he smiled in his direction and started to pick up the discarded menu, happily swaying side to side while choosing what to order.

What.

Kohaku started to turn bright head trying to wrap his head around Aira's words. Couple? As in romantically involved? They weren't like that!

"EH- wait wait wait, Ranbu-han where did ya take it Hiiro-han and I were a couple" he could feel himself turning even brighter when Aira rapidly put the menu down and stared at him disbelieving.

"I thought you two were together aren't you?" Kohaku shook his head "But you two are always together these days! You look so happy when Hiiro gives you something that reminded him of you! You two are at eachothers dorm all the time! You even asked me good spots to take him once!" Aira stared at him in disbelief and continued to list off all the things he considered "couple behavior" from them.

Did they really look that much as a couple, actually even if they did Kohaku didn't like the other that way. Right? They were just friends, he did like Hiiro's presence and being near him but it wasn't to that level, was it? He did let the older hug him or just do his physical affections undisturbed, almost no one had that privilege, and sometimes even reciprocated them, he loved their outings and always looked forward to the next one, every little trinket Hiiro got him was safely secured in a small box in his room, but that didn't mean he liked the other like that.

He looked back at Aira who was still going on his list about all the things he classified as couple behavior. He took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down or at least not have his face the same shade as the amagi's hair.

"I- ehm we aren't together we just got closer since he started tutoring me" kohaku averted his gaze from the blond "I don't really like him in that way either so it doesn't really matter" he felt his cheeks growing warmer at that.

Aira stopped his rant only to focus directly into the pink haired's face, Kohaku didn't like being scrutinized like that, specially from his best friend no less, but before he could actually say something about it the other spoke up.

"Kohakuchii... everytime Hiro as much as glances your way you turn all red" he stated as if it was a common known fact, like he hadn't just broken his entire view of his relationship with Hiiro up to this point. "They say love can be blind but this is to an extreme extent" Aira's face had morphed into one of exasperation as he gave a small sigh.

So much for trying to contain his embarrassment, he could feel his face growing hotter by the minute and tried to hide away behind his hands.

"You don't need to do anything about it you know... you can just stay the way you two are right now if you want" Aira called the waiter over and gave him their orders "But it would probably be easier on you if you did something about it"

Kohaku felt like a small child, his head was swarming with only one question, he tried to make himself even smaller before uttering it out.

"What if he doesn't like me back?" It was said in such a small voice he wondered if the other would even hear it.

"I've seen the way Hiro looks at you, he really likes you, he does things he never does to any of his friends or even his brother. I'm sure he likes you the same way you do" he reached foward and put his hands on top of the other's pulling them away from his face and gave him a small smile and leaned back on his seat. "I know you can do it, it will be hard to get it out but you will feel way happier later"

The waiter then chose the perfect time to bring their orders over, he sighed in relief, bringing the perfect break into the subject, to which Kohaku took with a stride bringing the blond's focus to their food of which he quickly latched onto, excitedly going into a tangent about taking the perfect picture to post.

That had been 2 weeks ago.

2 weeks since Aira decided to bring the biggest revelation to Kohaku's life, and only to his life since everyone around him seemed to have the same thoughts as the blond.

His first thought was asking for advice and Himeru was his safest option as he always looked after him and could keep a secret, specially from Rinne, to which he was met with the same confusion Aira had shown proceeded by basically the same talk the blond had given him. The same happened when he went to Madara and Jun. EVEN Hiyori was surprised when he barged into their dorm unannounced in the middle of his talk with Jun.

Was it really that obvious and only Kohaku was out of the loop?

He was tempted to ask for Niki's opinion but that would mean also getting Rinne's and he really didn't want to deal with the older amagi's reaction to it.

So that was how he found himself in front of Hiiro's dorm, they had hanged out from time to time since the 'revelation' but the younger decided to try and distance himself to gather his thoughts giving excuses to go away early or just to cancel one of their definitely not dates, having received a text asking if they could talk.

The moment the pink haired received the text he could feel a knot form in his gut and feel his heart rate pick up, typing a quick 'okay' and dropping his phone in the bed, he was glad Jun was doing whatever he did with Hiyori on their free time, and sprinting out of the room, following the path he had familiarized since they started hanging out on eachother's dorm.

He couldn't bring himself to knock on the door, his entire body felt like woobly and when he tried to bring his hand up to knock on the door it was trembling.

It felt like an eternity had passed before he heard the sound of the door being opened and a fluffy red hair appearing from behind. Hiiro's face immediately lightened up and a soft smile made it's way into his face.

"Kohaku!" He pulled the pink haired into a tight hug "I was going to look for you" he pulled back and grabbed his hand instead, Kohaku could feel his face getting warmer "Here come in" he opened the door and pulled the other in.

Kohaku had been inside the room a number of times, be it to hang out with Hiiro or just to look for Niki, but it still didn't make it any less scary. He tried looking around the room looking for something to put his attention into.

"Ah... you still have it"

It was a big pink cat plushie they had found in a festival Madara had recommended as a good spot to take Hiiro, which now that he thinks about it the place was swarming with couples and was probably a hot date spot, and after walking around some time Kohaku noticed the red head's attention to the plushie, 'do ya want it' he didn't wait for an answer and got close to the stall paying the owner for a shot at the game. It didn't take long for him to win the big prize, Madara's instance in teaching him the ways of the carnival games finally found themselves useful, and giving it to Hiiro, who hugged and thanked him for the gift.

"Umu of course! You gave it to me" he picked up the plushie and handed it to the younger "It reminded me a lot of you when I first saw it at the stand" he smiled in his direction again still holding the other's hand.

How did Hiiro always say things like that without getting embarrassed. Right change the topic again before he makes Kohaku go even redder, he dropped the plushie on the bed and cleared his throat.

"Ah... what did you want to talk about Hiiro-han?"

Hiiro beamed again and let go of his hand and walked over to his bed picking up a small box that was neatly placed on it.

"I was planning to give it to you later, but I just couldn't wait" he opened the box and inside was a small ring with a small red stone, the ring was clearly hand made. "I wanted to do it by myself but Nii-san insisted on helping" he scratched the back of his head "I asked Aira how courting worked in the city. It seems promise rings are quite common between couples, so I wanted to give you one..."

Kohaku felt tears start to pour out of his eyes, how could such a sweet and caring person even look into his direction and even go to the point of actually liking him.

"Kohaku" he felt Hiiro cradle his face "Are you okay?" The red head pulled him closer into an embrace, trying to calm the other down.

Kohaku could only nod and fall into the embrace feeling himself falling even more for the other.

"How can you actually like me..." He felt small, the same feeling from when Aira analyzed him in the cafe, hiccuping a few times between his words "I'm not the best person around... and you are always so... sweet and caring"

The older put his hands on his face again, angling it up so they would be looking face to face.

"You are one of the most precious person in my life, how could I not like you." He picked up the box again "If I could I would spend the rest of my life with you! The city doesn't allow for it, but I hope you at least accept this ring as a promise for the future"

The tears started up again. He didn't trust his voice to give an actual answer, so all he could give was a small smile and a nod offering his hand to the red head.

The ring fit perfectly into his fingers, the small red stone shone into the light of the room. Kohaku could only feel himself smile even wider and let a few more tears roll into his face.

"I love you so much"

Shinobi Shijuusou(Manga)

I have been recommending this in my yandere lists for a while, but I finally got to writing a proper recommendation on it. I actually do like this one quite a bit since the female lead is pretty proactive and the yandere himself is clingy and stalkerish (though it’s usually pretty comedic), plus the story is pretty good as well. Plus, the girl is the “master” of the shinobis, but they both have their strengths and weaknesses with the girl having a stronger position of power where as the guys are generally physically stronger. 

The story is about Chouko Manakai, the heir to a prestigious family who wishes to grow up and make decisions by herself. She enrolls into a shinobi school to find a bodyguard, and eventually meets Ujou Toga, the son of the family’s butler, who is obsessed with her since she protected him when she was younger. Chouko ends up getting kidnapped and saved by Ujou (though she was pretty unaffected considering that her family has a ton of bodyguards). We meet the twins Akane and Suou Nagumo who try to fight Ujou for the title of Chouko’s right hand bodyguard. The dual is a sort of “game” where the bodyguards have two balloons each and whoever has theirs popped loses. We learn how strong the two are and how Suou has a bit of an inferiority complex because of his brother because he’s not as strong and thus trained to be more of the brains while Akane is a bit naive but much stronger, though they both really admire each other. Eventually, Chouko forces a tie between the bodyguards considering she doesn’t really want any of them as a bodyguard (at the moment). Chouko meets another shinobi, a middle school boy named Tsubaki who wishes to see his mother again, however, due to his granduncle manipulating him, he is forced to kill Chouko to see his mother again. Tsubaki tells Chouko that he knows where the kidnappers were hired, and as she goes to talk to him, we met another shinobi called Shirogane, also gunning for right hand man (and really good with drugs), and the shinobis are able to stop Tsubaki before he’s able to kill Chouko. Chouko is able to coax Tsubaki into revealing the real reason he tried to kill her and the group decides to hatch a plan to save Tsubaki’s mother from the granduncle. They’re able to successfully save Tsubaki’s mother and incapacitate the granduncle after Chouko snaps Tsubaki out of the granduncle’s manipulation. We learn who is behind the kidnapping, a high shinobi family called the Hashibe group, specifically a boy named Toushiro, someone who works very closely with Chouko’s family. Chouko makes a plan for revenge as she wants vengeance for what happened to her and Tsubaki and trains with Akane to learn self defense. 

Chouko meets Hashihibe at the ball with the other shinobi and dances with Hashihibe, plainly thanking him for sending the assassins to kill her and asking why he resents her, which turns out to be because her family has Ujou’s dad, the butler that works for her dad. Chouko demands that he apologizes to Tsubaki before using the self defense she learns to humiliate him after he says no and protect herself after he attacks her, thus successfully getting her revenge. The next chapter is more about Shirogane who ends up working for a girl named Karen because she has a crush on him and hooks him up with all of the drug tools he needs to make said drugs, and when Karen tries to use Shirogane to make Chouko jealous (which backfires, which is super funny to me), the two end up hanging out at a fancy hotel before it’s placed under hostage by a bunch of robbers. Chouko and Shirogane try to make a plan to escape while the other bodyguards try to get in, and she ends up playing as a decoy to save everyone by stating that she can give a ransom as long as she lets go of everyone else while the others escape. Karen ends up causing a scene, which gets the robbers to know they’re escaping, but luckily Ujou saves Chouko in time. Hashihibe tries to break it off with Karen in a cruel way (which she deserves because she’s so god dang clingy and annoying), but Chouko decks him in the face for treating his aid cruelly (since it was his idea to go with her). There’s a beach chapter focusing more on Chouko’s female friend where she meets her marriage candidate, Hirose Shouchi, though it turns out that Hirose actually has a crush on the female friend and the two fall in love. It’s a cute chapter that also allows Chouko to develop feelings for Ujou and shows how much the shinobis care for her. 

We finally get into Ujou’s backstory, where his dad berates him for not being able to act rationally as a guard and exposing Chouko to danger. Ujou swears to be her aid, and his dad tests him by setting his older brother and sister against him. Ujou is able to survive because of his love of Chouko and Chouko becomes worried when he can’t find him during her birthday. There’s a side story about Ujou and Chouko’s dad and side stories for each of the other bodyguards that go more in depth for their characters. The last couple of chapters is about Chouko choosing her aid in which she literally choses all of them and becomes the head of her family, and the last chapter is about Ujou and Chouko together as a family with their child. 

The manga is a lot like a mix of shoujo and shonen, with each story helping to flesh out Chouko’s harem guards and shows why each of them are so willing to become her aid. It really helps to give each one of them character and it’s really interesting to see how their life as a shinobi has shaped them as a person. For Chouko herself, I really like her as a character. She’s not especially naive and has a strong will, wishing to protect her friends and willing to even have revenge on those who hurt them. While she’s not physically the strongest, she definitely is extremely strong in terms of social power (her family is rich and she uses it to her advantage) and is extremely brave and kind to those around her. She won’t let people hurt others if she can help it and she’s incredibly smart in terms of planning situations and figuring out what the best way is to get out of the other sticky situations they’re in. She does get herself into a fair bit of trouble sometimes, but its usually to help or befriend someone. Each of the guards are pretty cool too, like how the twins are switched in what you’d think they’d be good on in terms of appearance ( Akane usually wears glasses and looks more tactical while Suou looks more like a delinquent and looks stronger, but their strengths are reversed), Tsubaki is a cute boy with amazing ability and Hashihibe starts out as a person who only cares about having fun, but we see him develop as the story goes on. Ujou is mostly played for laughs in terms of his stalking/obsessive behavior, but even he has strong reason to love Chouko and trains hard to be by her side. Even side characters like Chouko’s friend and Chouko’s father have stories that help develop their character forward. Chouko has chemistry with all of the characters, which is nice considering how many she has in her harem I mean group. 

In terms of yandereness, Ujou definitely displays a ton of behaviors, from just stalking and recording her voice, to being so possessive he wouldn’t let anyone get near her when she was wounded. He even has a shrine dedicated to her. He’s also a bit of a masochist at times (at least, it seems like it though it’s mostly played for laughs) but is incredibly strong and protective. He hits off a lot of different traits for yanderes and while they’re mostly played for laughs, there is actual reason and development for him to be this strong and we can see how much Chouko means to him and vice versa. I’m happy that he did get a happy ending with her (though it starts being a bit more obvious when she develops a crush on him) and I think that they are a great couple. I also realized that this author was the one who wrote the Boyfriend Restraint System Dj, so that explains why Ujou is a yandere. 

Overall, I really like this story, and honestly, I bet this would be a really good anime if it ever became one, sort of similar to how Ouran Host Club is. It’s funny, has good character development, is (sort of) a reverse harem and has great characters and a great female lead. And of course a male yandere. I would highly recommend this story for anyone to read.

I ate that a lot too~! Consommé, butter, and…some other flavor I don’t know, I think it was harp? Midori: Oh, you probably meant herb flavor… The smell was too strong for kids and it had a peculiar taste too, so it got pulled off the shelves right away… Then, do you know the habanero flavored one they had on sale for only a month...? It was unpopular with kids 'cause of how spicy it was, but it really delivered on being marketed as “hot enough for you to spit fire from your mouth”... Mitsuru: I do! I only had a small lick of it but I couldn’t handle it, so I gave the rest to my dad! Hi im Izu Toga yes im the sister of the yandare killer Himiko Toga but thats not important any way i woke up and did my moring routine then went to setsuko's room and i banged at her door multiple times till i heard mumbelling and foot steps then the door opened.

"Hey" i say exited

"...hey" she said tiredly

"Do you want to train with me and Ty before the sports festival arrives?" I asked the tierd freind of mine

"I can't im training with akahito, sorry" she said in a tierd tone

"Oh ok anyway do you want to wake up Tani-chan" i asked her

"Sure" she said with her monotone voice

"YAY" i skipped towards Aratani's room.

Aratani Asui is one of my other friends I sometimes hang out with, her quirk is hedgehog, she is also the daughter of red riot and froppy she also has a four year old little brother. As izu is banging on the door and shouting I look at my phone and I got a text from Akahito.

My Idiot: hey if your coming over to train wait for me at the gate

I put my phone away and I see Aratani and Izu starring at me with smirks plastered on their faces.

"What?" I asked

"Who you talking too, hmmm" izu said still with a smirk on her face

"I was texting akahito about what time i should go to his house to train" i said calmly

" Yeah right 'training' " Izu quotes the word training with her fingers

"For all we know you could be planning to go on a date" Aratani says in her usal calm voice

"First no we are not going on a date second have you confessed to Akemi your feelings yet, Ara-chan? hmm" i say with a smirk. Aratani blushes at the fact of confessing to Akemi. Aratani likes Akemi Todoroki a lot and i can't blame her Akemi is a nice, kind and a little bit shy and plus sometimes me and Aratani talk about our crushes but she mostly talks about hers.

I'm in class not really paying any attention to this lesson so i decide to throw a paper ball at Suou Bakugou. I have i crush on him and Aratani knows cause we talked about it anyway but i think he feels the same and i'm not planning on confessing cause i know he probaly doesn't like me so thats why i'm not going to confess, anyway he then turns around and glares at me uhh i think im going to die.

Setsuko's POV

I see izu throwing a paper ball at Suou Bakugou. The dude is scary as he speaks in a low rought grumbeling voice. But all i know izu shouldn't have done that i am sure she is going to die after class. As i was thinking of what kind of trouble izu got into i feel a tap on my shoulder from behind me and i turn around it Akahito.

"What do you want?" i asked annoyed

"Why so mean setsu-chan" he whined

"I'm not asking again what do you want?!!" i asked more annoyed

"Have you heard that Izu has a crush on Suou from what i heard from Aratani-chan"

Izu's POV

I'm walking back to the dorms with Akemi, Setsuko and Tani-chan when a rough hand grabs my wrist and i get pulled behind the dorms building.

Then i saw who grabbed me it was Suou i widened my eyes in fear.

"Look im sorry i throwed that paper ball at you i was bored i had nothing to d-" i got intrupted from my babeling when he began to talk

"Look i will let you off this time but don't do it again GOT IT!?" He shoted at the end of the sentance. I nodded and then i left to go back to my room. 'I am never going to annoy him again he could of killed me but leted me off, i just got lucky this time' i thought to my self as im walking through the halls of the dorm rooms.

Setsuko's POV

It has been nearly two weeks since everybody trained for the sports festival we only have three days left and everybody is finished training and everybody is in the common room bored nothing to do then going on our devices, then Izu-chan stands up and speaks

"We all should have a movie night as a class as we worked so hard training for two weeks"

"Thats a great idea Izu-san we should definetly do that" Akemi says as she agrees

"Okay so Izu-chan, Ty-chan and Akahito-kun should go to the store and get snacks along with Setsuko-chan and Tani-chan, you guys need to buy some blankets and pillows also and here is my credit card use it contactless to pay" akemi says as she takes charge and gives me her credit card.

"Everybody else if you need anything from the store you can go with them if not pick out some games and movies to watch later" Akemi continues giving orders to the class.

Then i see Suou walking towards us then he starts speaking

"Can i come with you guys i need some stuff for training" he says as he places his right hand behind his head. Suou can be a bit timid at times when he isn't angry or glaring at people.

"...Sure?" izu says confused

After that i feel wheight on my shoulder and i see Akahito's arm around my shoulder and i feel my self blushing

"Looks like we are spending quality time with me while shopping~" he says in a flirty voice i roll my eyes

"In your dreams" i say annoyed

"Your always im my dreams tho" he says not stoping with the flirting

"You pervert" i shout at him walking quickly towards Ty

"You okay?" She asks in her normal bored monatone voice

"Yeah...i'm okay" i say still flustered from earlier.

I really like Setsuko but she always ignores me or what ever i do but when i talk with her or flirt with she blushes a little bit which i gusse it good but i known her since we were kids and it may seem cheesy to fall for your childhood best friend but she is so cute and i want us to be more then childhood best friends but i don't know if she feels the same.

As the six students walk to the nearest mall they chat about their training and other stuff.

This is the first time the first years will have a class gather and rveryone is excited.

I get my phone out as i am walking and i start texting Akemi

I put my phone away and everyone walks in the mall.

"We will have two groups of three and we will meet here once we are all back" izu said and everyone nodded

"Okay group 1 Setsuko-chan, Aratani-chan and Akahito" izu explained and i send her a death glare she just chukeled. I know what she is doing she is trying to set me up with akahito.

"Group 2 is me, Bakugou-kun and Ty-chan" she explained the who was in the last group. After that me, Akahito and Tani-chan seperated away from Izu's group and we walked around talking.

As we were walking we talked about different stuff and by we i mean me Ty as Suou was very quite not talking.

"So where do we go first?" I asked ty and suou

"Can we go here i need some dumbells for my training" Suou said pointing to the store next to us.

"Sure" i replied back

We entered the store and we walked for about two minutes trying to find the dumbells but never found them so we stayed longer in the shop.

"Hey guys i'm going to the toilet really quickly" Ty said as she started walking in some random direction to get to her destination, i just nodded and stayed with Suou. I went to see what i could find for my training so i just went to the next isle. I was looking through some stuff when someone grabbed my shoulders, i turned around and it was some punk.

"Hey, how about we ditch this place and go back to my apartment with me." He said in a very creepy way. I scrunched my nose allitle before i pushed him off but no he had to pin me on the wall, i hear foot steps getting closer from the isle from the right...

Suou's POV

I walked towards the next isle and when i entered it i saw something that made me just to blow up in anger. I saw Izu getting pinned by a punk. I don't what i felt but this feeling just flooded over me, so without thinking my body moved on it on and i started walking towards them then my hands started exploding little explosions

"GET AWAY FROM HER YOU BASTARD" i shouted at this man

"Go away kid and who are you anyway? Her boyfriend" the man spoke back

"I am your worst nightmare but if you don't let her go she will kill you" i said with venom

"And yes i am her boyfriend so back off" i continued

I saw her starting to get fidgety she really wanted to kill this guy but she was trying not to get her yandare side out.

"What ever kid, i could do so much better than him" he said as he turned towards her. I grabbed her wrist and walked out of that isle far away from that guy.

Then i relaised she was fidgety because she was scared.

"Are you okay dumbass?" i asked with concern linhering im my voice

"...yeah i'm ok, thanks" she replaied but she was still shaking. I don't know what camed over me but i hugged her.

"I'm glad your safe" i mumbled quitely. Then i felt her hug me back. We seperated from the hug and we went to get the dumbells then gone to find her friend ty. When we did find Ty we went to the cashire to pay for what i brought. Then we exited the shop.

We walked around the shop till we stoped

"Dumbass why did you stop?" I asked

"Riiight sooo i need to get some stuff from this shop so either you come with me and ty or you stay outside" she was pointing at a clothing shop i wanted to say no but i need some more t-shirts

"I'll go with you two i need some t-shirts any way." I said as i fllowed them.

(5 mins later)

We exited the shop after we payed then we went to the sopt we were supposed to meet with everyone but since we were early the girls decided to go to the near McDonald's so all three of us got some drinks and went outside waiting for the others.

We walked back to the meeting spot while carring large bags with blankets and pillows and snacks.

Aratani carried the bag with all the snacks while me and akahito are carrying the biggest bag with lots of blankets and pillows so i held one of the handel and akahito held the other. Me and him were talking about our quirks and how crazy there are. After loads of walking we arrived at the meeting spot and we saw Ty, Izu and Suou they were waiting for us while drinking McDonald's drinks.

"Aww man izu-chan you should of got me one too" akahito whined

"Nah, suck it bitch" she said as she showed him the middle finger i giggled at their stupidness

"Tyyy-chan please tell me you got me a drink" he said

Ty just nodded and handded him a large coca cola out of no where.

"Thank you" he said as if he was dieing and camed back to life.

Everybody laughed at his stupidness.

Oh did i mention that Akahito , Ty and Izu are the three demonic kids in UA, their know as The Deamon Kids and let me explain what they do, so these idiots cause trouble from spreading rumours to pranking the staff and snicking out at night for a trip to McDonald's for food, you wondering how i know this well i was ith them when one othese happened at it was fucking 3 in the morning and i asked them if they do this often and said yes and they only get either milkshakes or hot chocolate nothing to heavy and only happens twice a week. (Anyway back to the present)

We were nearly back to our dorms and everybody was getting tiered as we all got the chanse of carying the heavy blankets and pillows.

(10 mins later)

We arrived at the dorm and Akemi opened it

"Ho guys what took you all so long it nearly seven" she asked concerned with the amount of hours we were gone.

"Sorry but we had to stop on our way to a convinace store to get more snacks cause some morans were eating the ones we got on the way here" i said as i send a death glare to Izu, Ty and Akahito

"So whats the movie did you guys picked?" I asked curiously also knowing that it a horror movie.

"We picked Chucky"

"Thats great" i said with a bit of fear in my voice. I love scary movies don't get me wrong but chucky is...well to demonic.

After 30 minutes of everyone making a big pillow fort for 12 people we started setteling in.

I was in the fort with Ty, Izu, Suou,'why yes this dumbass was here too im gusseing because of Akemi's brothers and Akahito. Anyway back to listing' Akemi and her bros, Aratani and...Akahito and the others were either on the couch or on the floor. Akemi pressed play and the movie began.

Couple of minutes of the movie a jumpscare comes up and i jump a little but then i feel something go up on my back i jump and fall on my vack on to something or someone.

"Ahh sorry setsuko i just wanted to scare you i didn't mean this to happen" Akahito whispered

I was about to take another picture when i felt a wheight on my shoulder, i looked down and saw akahito on MY shoulder, i felt my cheeks quicky warming up but then i relaised i didn't take another picture of izu and suou so i did take another picture after that i felt really sleepy and decided to put my head on top of Akahito's and sleep slowly took over me.

Akemi's POV

I saw setsuko put her head on Akahito's so i took a picture after i did that my younger brothers tapped my shoulder and i looked at them

"We are going back to our dorms now see you tomorrow sis"

"Ok, sleep well" i said as they left.

After that i took my phone out and texted izu

I can feel light basking onto my face as my eyes flutter open. Ah, what day it is? What time it is? What... is this warm feeling against me?

I focused my eyes and tried to scan my surrounding. Huh, this doesn’t seems like my room, not the one on my flats nor Pompokorin. These aging walls, these tweets of birds and wind rustle, these... scent of someone dear.

As I shifted under the blanket, an arm pulled me into embrace. A face snugs up my chest as the owner grumble, 'more... salmon... please'. His white hair tickled my cheek but it doesn't feels annoying. Instead, it gave me a warm comfort. I feel like I have to wake up but the embrace and that voice lulls me to slumber. Ah, it's the voice that I love, the one who whisper my name under his breathe last night---

Reds creeps up my embarrassed face as the memory resurface. It contrast to his peaceful, pale looks. Yesterday I came back to Momiji Village as I graduated from collage. He was the first person to picked me up on the station. Then we spent our first meeting pleasantly after we had been separated from quite some time, cooking and eating together. After both of us dressed up, we walk side by side while enjoying the fresh breeze of village early morning. The spring wind feels gentle on my skin, way different with the city’s murky and heavy air. In our way, we passed many familiar faces, both human and ayakashis alike. We exchange greetings and occasionally giggled at by them who remarks how lovey-dovey we already are early in the morning. It’s a little embarrassing, to be honest. However, it’s feels up my chest with so much happiness. This place is so much warm, even with less people around it doesn’t feels lonely at all. Ah, how grateful I am to be here again, I wonder how exciting every day life will be. Without noticing it at all, I’. already beaming with smile.

"Looks like you have so much fun, smiling that much in the morning already, " Suou who hold my hand glanced at me for a moment. But as he look the other way, I can see his lips curved a bit, “Not that I dislike it, though.”

Time flies and without us noticing,Pompokorin’s building is already in sight. In front of the store, Gin who is busy preparing for the day welcomed us. As I apologize for not telling him that I was staying at Suou’s place for he night, he was quiet for a moment before a cheeky smile spreads on his face.

“Mmmmm, mmmm, I see it now.” He nods in amusement with face of a proud father, “Ah, Rin-chan is really an adult now, isn’t she?”

“Eh?”

What’s with that? D-do I have something in my face? I mean, I haven't been able to wash myself since Suou's home didn't have much water for bathing or showering but I was sure to at least wash myself. When I’m about to ask him what’s wrong, Gin only laughed, “Ah, it’s nothing, it’s nothing you have to worry. Although... Please don’t be too hasty, both of you.”

He looked preety serious before he leave us be. What does that mean? We look at each other but Suou only shrugged, he doesn’t seem that bothered by Gin’s word after all.

Oh, well, I can’t be bothered by it now. As soon I enter the shop, I quickly retrieve my blouse and suit from my room and then go to the bathroom. A quick shower is all I need right now.

After a refreshing shower, now all I have to do is doing my hair and make up. Pick up my neatly folded blouse and suit, I approach the sink. There, the mirror is foggy from the hot shower’s steam so I decided to wipe it with my hand. In the mirror I can see my damp hair and my skin.

Wait, these thing in my neck---

Ah.

Ahhhhhhhh,

AHHHH, T-THIS IS BAD!

Quickly I touched my flushed neck and nape. There is some red spots in it! I-I forgot he did this a lot last night. What should I do? N-no wonder Gin looked weird this morning, was it because of these?! Ughhhhh, now this is just make it more embarrassing!

Alright, I can’t panic now. There’s no way I can wear my blouse today as well because it’ll show my neck clearly. I must pick up a new clothes right now, something that can cover me up. And it’s... ah it’s all in my room right now.

There’s no other way, I have to go to my room to change. Okay, I’ll dress up in my blouse now, quickly goes into my room and change. It’ll be easy so let’s step out now...

My face burns out as Uta teased me. Ugh, of course he’ll know so there’s no need to tease me so much. i was so prepared for another teases but I was instead greeted with Uta’s cold and worried face.

"Wait a second," he hurriedly get closer to me. With a serious expression, he stares at me intently before rage seethes on his eyes as his gaze lands on my neck.

"Did he do this to you?" his eyes pierced mine. Uta’s arm suddenly secure my upper arm, makes me jolt groggily. I want to answer him but before i can answer, he gripped my arm in mix of fear and anger. "Tell me the truth, did he? Did he hurt you again, Rin?" That eyes... Ah I get it now. Even after four years, Uta hasn't changed. I think he's still wary of Suou after all these year. It can’t be helped after all, he is my guardian. More than that, he is also a family. But I don;t want him to misunderstand it so I try my best to answer it.

While desperately try to hide the red spots with my hand, I smile awkwardly "N-no, Uta, you got it wrong-" I tries to pull myself away from him, "I just get bitten by bugs. Yes, b-bugs!"

He get hold of my wrists, "No, really this looks more like a cat--"

"So noisy..." Our exchange was cut off by another person. Uta’s hold loosen a bit as we both look at the source of that voice. From the third floor, there is Yomi who already sharp dressed with scarf on his hand. With a sigh, he scoffs, "I haven't get out for errands yet and it's already so noisy."

"Here, Yomi, look at Rin!" Uta release me and pulled his twin brother to us, who happen to looks truly as displeased as I am. His face was about to spit something like, 'what did this girl do again, huh?'. He is disinterested, yet hearing Uta’s urgent tone on his voice Yomi decide to go along. As Uta point my neck at him...

He was quiet for a moment, but he loudly chocked with a face turns bright red. I know he want to say something but he was too perplexed. It’s not only you who feel bad in this situation, Yomi!

Finally able to collect his composure, he ask Uta first, "You, tell me what's wrong. Or at least, what do YOU think is wrong."

"So you know Rin hasn't been home last night, right?" Uta crossed his arm, trying to stay calm even if I can tell he is pissed. "I'm sure she was with Suou last night. And look, she came back with some scars on her neck!" He clenches his palm and grits his teeth, "It must be Suou doing! He hurt her again!” rolls his sleeves, he walks away while stomping, losing all his chill. “I swear I'm gonna punch him and--- GHOOOEEEKKK." THUD! Yomi's shin powerfully delved into Uta's side. His face is flushed badly from embarrassment. I-I'm embarrassed too, you know!

"Oi, Yomi, what's that for?!"

Yomi frustratingly knead his forehead, "It is because you are utterly stupid." Uta tries to retort while he hold his stomach, "What?! I'm being serious! I told you he is- OW OW OW."

Seriously frustrated, Yomi desperately tries to shut Uta by giving him yet another shin-to-the-side. It did shut Uta from talking about Suou and instead grunts at Yomi’s sudden attack. However, Yomi doesn’t seems to mid it much as he lends me the scarf on his hand. He give it while trying to look the other way bashfully. "Use this to cover your neck," his ear looks deep red despite his cool demeanor, "at least this can help you a bit." "Are you not done yet, Rin?"

In such moment, the person in question enter the Living Room, impatiently calls out to me. As Suou looks at Yomi's hand on top of mine with scarf in between, I can feel he get discouraged by such sight.

"Hey, gloomy dog, what's up with that?"

”Oh this is just--” before Yomi can answer him, Uta already jump out and about to lash out at Suou.

”YOU SHITTY CAT---!”

“Huh?” Suou instantly shield himself in surprise as Uta approach him.

I desperately tug Uta’s shirt to make him stop, "Uta, I told you it's not---"

"You did that, right?!" Uta stand between us and pointed at my neck, "You hurt her, didn’t you?!" Suou, as if dawned by realization, has his eyes downcast, "Did... Rin told you thath?” He apologetically approach me, “So when you said it hurts, you really were hurt? I told you right to say it so I wouldn’t make you in pain..."

Uta, who shields me won’t let him get any closer. Frustratingly, I pounce his back "N-no! That's not the case...! Ah, Utaaaaaa!"

"Next time I will make sure not to overdo it, okay?" he said, but then with a quiet voice Suou murmur under his breathe, "Ah, but your neck is just too tempting to kiss. Geez, but this is for her sake."

“Eh, huh?” Uta blinked, dumbfounded, “A kiss? What the hell do you mean-”

I can't take this anymore.

I bet my face are already charred right now as i tried to cover my neck and embarrassment. It is beyond burned from all this misunderstood. Yomi already has his face completely covered by his hands and scarf, he can't hold himself as well. Suou grow pale, panicked.

And Uta,

Uta was silent for a moment with jaw hanging. Then, as if he finally pieced everything together,

"K-KISS?? THAT KIND OF KISS?" he screamed on top of his lungs. He was too perplexed that all he says was some gibberish, "THE HELL IS WRONG WITH BOTH OF YOU!?"

Yomi curses as he was readying another jab into Uta, “That’s why I told you, you are truly a braindead.”

Uta, now completely red from the realization, runs away to bathroom, says that he need to cool down his head. Ah... this is truly a disaster. I feel like I want to bury myself from all of this commotion.

When everything already calmed down, Yomi excused himself and apologize for Uta's behavior. It can't be helped after all, and I get why would he did that despite how awkward and embarrassing it turned the whole morning.

Left alone only with Suou, we only awkwardly stand in silence. I told him I’m going to change my outfit with something else to cover my neck. He answer by nood in silence. So as my initial plan, I went into my room and change into a turtleneck and suit.

Even when we walk out to each other workplace, the air was still pretty awkward, I want to break it by talking but I can’t think of anything, I want to tell him that it was all Uta’s misunderstanding, I didn’t told Uta that he hurts me. Yet somehow, it’s a little hard to convey those. And once again, we walk in silence and only talk once we split up. Ah... I just hope I can clear up all that misunderstanding.

At night, Gin decided to hold a party to celebrate my return and also to congratulate my first job. It was a fun party, I manage to meet all my friends from years ago. Manatsu-san as usually playing with Tsuzuri while told me how’s Momiji village while I was gone. Uta and Yomi  banters Haginosuke, who just about to claim the position as head priest for Momiji Shrine. Even god was there, sharing sakes with Gin and some other Ayakashis. While me and Suou...

Well, we only sit by each other, still a bit awkward but we melts up a little. We chatted a bit but somehow I can sense that he feels troubled. Is he still minding what happen this morning? Uhh...

Later at that party, I sneaks out with Suou to the porch. The night air is chill and we can hear the party quietly from behind us. We're sitting 5 centimeter apart as we watch the glittery spring sky. We still sit in silence but I know, we have to talk it out.

Yet before I can talk, my right hand was held by his left. Meekly, Suou calls out to me, "Uh, Rin..."

"About this morning, I truly am sorry." he stares at his feet as he said that. "I... just remember one of the old men told me that kind of thing is not something you can tell to people. And- and-" He stutters, holding my hand firmer, “What Uta said... Did I really hurt you last night?”

I released his grip, which make him a bit self-conscious. Then, I cupped his face with my hand just like this morning, "Hey, Suou,"

“You don’t have to worry, okay?”

He was about to protest but I continue, "You know, I was really embarrassed that you said something like that and Uta heard it too."

I pouted at him. When he sees that, he looked like he want to shrink further. So then I smile at him, "But really, it’s just Uta being Uta. He can be a bit overprotective, remember? And it makes him jump into conclusion too quick...”

"Well, he is a noisy dog after all?”

I laughed at his remark, “right?”

Even if I laugh, his eyes still dimmed with fear and sadness. “To be honest though, it did hurts a bit, I’m not used to it after all.”

“But even so, it doesn’t hurt that much when I can wake up beside you in the morning.”

"Rin..."

We locked our gaze, his apologetic expression melts away and blooms into a gentle one; one that is full of love and warmth. He touches my hand on his cheek and seeps the warmth of my hand.

“So please don’t worry about it, ok?” I caress his cheek, I don’t like it when he is worried, it pains me. But even so, I can feel his overflowing love and cares from him with such act. “And I... also love that this morning, Suou become the first person I tell ‘good morning’ to. ” "I love it as well," he touched my cheek in return and softly bumped our forehead, "it makes me want you to always be the first person I see in the morning. To be the one I can say 'good night' to and 'good morning' to every single day." "Mm,” I nooded, “I want you to be the one as well."

"Rin," Our lips meet briefly, left us with a tender feelings. "I love you." "I love you too, Suou." We held each other that night under the star as we share another kiss. -----------------------------------------------------------------

Not only this is my first english fanfic this is also kind of my first romance fanfic ahaha. I hope you all enojoy this piece! I just love this fandom and Suou so much I feel like I had to make this. It’s 2 AM here and I pretty proud of this. Anyway, see you!

Takarasienne Talent Showcase! - May 2017

Kozakura Honoka, Star Troupe: Hyakunin-Isshu* Ever since I was a little girl it's been a family tradition, when the relatives all gather for New Years', to all put on kimono and play Hyakunin-Isshu together. When we would play 1-on-1, since my grandmother was a really strong opponent, my boy cousin, my little brother, and me would make a team to battle her. In order to beat my grandmother I would practice the whole year with my dad (laughs). At first I preferred the pictures of princesses printed on the cards rather than the verses, so I would play looking at those, but then my dad told me 'why don't you try learning some of those poems on the cards?' and because of that, I first learned the poem by Ise no Taifu, and before I knew it I had memorized all 100 poems. As I've grown up, it's not just the competition that I find appealing, but also the refined atmosphere of olden-days Japan. I find it very relaxing to look at the cards and listen to the poems, so even currently I'll still lay out the cards at home (laughs). I'd be really happy if a lot of people became interested in Hyakunin-Isshu.

Suou Mahiro, Moon Troupe: Karate When I was in first grade, I began taking karate at my grandfather's recommendation. I continued until my middle-school graduation, prior to entering the Revue, and I passed the ranking exams. Rather than combat with an actual opponent, I preferred displaying 'forms' against an imaginary opponent, since it is a matter of how quickly and skillfully one can perform the move. There's no specific conclusion, but I feel there's a lot of value and enjoyment in the pursuit of improvement. When I was doing it, I'd participate in joint training camps for many different karate schools, so I'd get up early to go running in the mountains, practice with students from other skills, and lots of stuff like that. I feel like it was a really valuable experience for me. They say karate trains all three aspects - heart, skill, and physicality, so it doesn't just strengthen your muscles or whatever, but also trains the spirit. Therefore, since it is really exhilarating and also teaches beneficial self-defense skills, I recommend everyone try it! You won't regret it (laughs).

Hoshibuki Ayato, Cosmos Troupe: Badminton I started in 4th grade of primary school. Even though there were a ton of clubs available, for some reason badminton appealed to me so I joined that one. I would go to inter-school matches and regional tournaments, and I remember once I was defeated just one game away from winning a tournament and was so disappointed I cried (laughs). In order to prepare for the TMS entrance exam I didn't join any clubs in middle school, but when I had time for it I would play badminton with my little brother. While I've had less opportunity to play since joining the Revue, a few years back during a national tour everyone in the cast went to a sports facility, and I really enjoyed the chance to play again after so long. Currently I'll sometimes do rallies with the junior actresses, and sometimes we'll get really serious about it (laughs), so I'm really enjoying it. The exhilaration of doing a smash never gets old, and I like playing around with everyone, and even if I totally miss I find myself smiling so I think even that is one of the appeals of badminton.

Saezuki Runa, Flower Troupe: Italian Due to my father's work, we lived in Milan, Italy, from when I was 3 years old to 10 years old. Since I went to primary school at the British School located nearbuy, I became able to speak both English and Italian. Even Italian kindergarten kids are little gentlemen - they all open doors for their mothers or compliment a little girl wearing a new hair accessory - those lovely aspects of the culture left a big impression on me. After joining Takarazuka, I went on a trip to Florence, and when I went to a gelato shop and ordered in Italian, the shopkeeper said 'you can speak Italian?!' and got kind of excited. Even now, if I spent several hours with an Italian, I think I'd be able to manage an everyday level of conversation. Italian pronunciation is simple and close to Japanese, and Italian culture is really appealing.

* This is a matching game, also known as karuta, using cards that have a famous anthology of 100 poems by 100 Heian-era poets. (It’s the subject of popular anime Chihayafuru.)

Sound in the Distance

Summary: After discovering a disturbance in the past and a distorted future, Japan sent people with neough spiritual powers to the past to help out. Sakurai Saika is sent there after passing the tests; however reluctant she turns out to be. Will her reluctance turn to work with the swords be replaced with genuine action?

Scroll 0: The New Saniwa

When Violet eyes opened, she was standing  on the entrance to an estate. The vast garden behind the tori gate and the water under the small bridge stole her attention. Beside her foot was a small luggage where her stuff lies. But even she knows that when she entered her new life, there is no place for it anymore and those things she brought will only be her memento of her past life in the future.

She lifted her luggage and took a deep breath.

It’s time to start the mission.

As she was on top of the bridge, she eyed the small fox in front of her.

“I see you have arrived safely, Sakurai Saika-dono”

She set her luggage down again and shrugged, “As in one piece as I could be, Konnosuke.” The fox ‘konnosuke’ simply nodded and bow his head lower. “This place will be your new home and workplace. Welcome to Suou no Kuni.

Saniwa-dono.”

As he called her name, she closed her eyes and steeled her resolve.

3 months prior…

“The past?! Me?!” Saika’s voice echoes through her father’s study. A few months ago, a message arrives for the government that the future ahead them is wrecked because of an interference in the past.  Women and men alike has now been sent to protect the ruins. Scattered around like leaves.

Everybody in the country was told to take a test to determine who goes and who stays. And by everybody, they meant everybody. Young or old. Rich or poor. Civilian or Government. Parents or Children.

Everybody must take a traditional spiritual test and if they pass, then they may take a combat test only for those who are willing. But to be sent to the past you must first do the spiritual test. Nobody really said for what purpose until you pass.

One week before her test, a young girl of 8 who was her neighbour left for the past. It left a deep fear in her heart. “She was so young” she heard her mother whispered to herself.

She and her two older brothers all joined the test but only she was accepted; though her spiritual level was right above average which means the lowest score in the accepted rank. After that, she was registered by her father to do the combat test. She passed with flying colours, seeing that she is one of the small amount of women joining.

Saika was born as the youngest daughter of a military family. Her father is the Minister of Defence and her mother used to be a world champion gymnast. Her brothers seemed to have taken both of their parents’ athletic trait. But not Saika. Even though she was born in a military family that eventually forced her to do all sorts of martial arts, it was so easy for her to gain weight and her love for desserts aren’t exactly helping her ever growing weight. And above all that she received her grandfather’s trait which is small and short stature.

She was rather furious when her father put her name into the combat tests but showing those smirking—underestimating—men who’s the boss really picks her mood up. She enjoyed all those process of the test, but she forgot one thing.

This is not a school registering.

She was registering to help out for war.

“You might think that this is all fun and games, but you must realize that this is in fact a step to war, Saika-san.” Her father had told her. The dim and cold room had add a massive amount of nerves that prevent her from thinking clearly.

“I wouldn’t suit the job! Daiki or Daichi—”

“Are not qualified to do the job. They had failed the spiritual test.”

Her father was calm but his fingers that was clasping his pen trembled slightly. Her father is a loving man. Busy, but loving. He had seen her father angry before, she swore to never do anything to make him angry. But right that moment, she might have broken her promise to herself.

Silence entered the already-cold room. It was evident that both party doesn’t know what to say.

“Father… Please…” she could feel her eyes grow hot and tears started welling. She’s not a coward, she knows that. But there’s a certain fear in people when war is where they’re heading.

“Can’t you save me?” she turn her gaze downwards. Right now she’s utterly desperate. Letters with governmental seal are spilling on the desk. The one on the top most stack was also a government letter assigned to her with big bold letters. The letter arrived early that day and was immediately sent to her father’s study.

The older man got up from his seat and hugged his youngest daughter. She already knows his answer. His father is an honest, patriotical man. He would never pass up on a chance to save his country, even though that means giving up on his children. And even from the beginning she had never expected him to agree to her plea.

“I’m sorry, Saika-san.”

Saika closed her eyes and hugged her father back just as tight and let the tears she had been holding loose.

“I know.”

“Saniwa-dono?”

Saika opens her eyes and realized where she is. She stared at the cup of tea that had materialized in front of her. She had let Konnosuke take all her stuff to the room that will be hers starting that day and had sat in the living room to enjoy the tea. But apparently she hadn’t been touching it and thus making Konnosuke question her.

Saika tried to shrug it off with a small smile, “Sorry.”

Konnosuke who stood in front of her cup nodded, “I suppose you would be tired. Your stuff has been arranged in your quarters. You must rest for the day. I would have no problem with you starting your job tomorrow. We are not in a hurry.”

Saika frowned. If they’re not in a hurry then why was she sent to Suou after only 3 months training? Especially since her spiritual level is pretty low, it was rather unnerving for her when she discovered that as quickly as she is able to channel her energy to some dummy sword without fainting, she will be sent to Suou. Channelling is an easy job, bringing the sword to life was the hard part. She might be able to do it or she might not. Tomorrow would be the judgment day.

But for now, she wanted to decorate her somber tatami room to a paradise of her own.

“Good morning, Saniwa-dono. You are awfully early.” Konnosuke greeted Saika as she found her way to the dining room. The tea on the table made it clear that the fox knew that she’s up and about and thus had prepared her tea. Saika let her violet eyes wonder to the tea before picking it up and sip it.

“Well, since you are already up, I would assume that you are ready for your first sword?”

Saika sighed and let her shoulder relaxed.

There was a pregnant pause before she slammed her now empty cup on the table, leaving a small crack on the bottom. There’s no use evading her job after all. So she eyed Konnosuke with a gaze that seemed to be an unintended glare and commanding voice stated, “Bring me to it.”

Hullo. This is my contribution to the TouRan fandom. I’ve been playing the game for about 6 months??? And I thought that I would like to make a story about my saniwa as well! But I can’t draw so a story it is then. If somebody would like to help me to draw my saniwa, then it will be much appreciated!!
