lil reminder that prentice was beacon of the golden towers before he was arrested. both he and wylie probably thought that they'd see each other in the towers when he was a level seven. and wylie probably thought he'd see tiergan around the base levels as a mentor too, since he was still teaching there before he resigned in protest of prentice's arrest. and prentice and leto were probably work buddies alongside being in a rebellion together, since leto was beacon of the silver tower presumably before and after prentice's arrest.

just. y'know. bits of prentice's life before, and how that must've impacted his loved ones all the more long-term.

i've found myself thinking about swan queen and got caught in the thought process of "oh, surely the show wasn't as convoluted and nonsensical as i remember it to be, right?" WRONG I WAS VERY WRONG I got halfway through the pre-curse part of the Emma Swan wiki page and I had to close it because I was getting angry

I love this scene so much as a conclusion to Brooklynn and Soyona's relationship.

Brooklynn's trapped beneath the rubble; she can't get out; Soyona is right there. All she has to do is call to her. Soyona might question how she got here, and Brooklynn might have a minor concussion keeping her from thinking up an excuse...but "I heard there was a setup and came to warn you" or "I heard gunshots" or "the Handler was going to kill me if I didn't take her to the Atrocriaptors" would have all been easy excuses.

But she doesn't do that.

She just watches Soyona walk away, and lets her go.
