oh okay heres one:

"sleepaway camp"= you go there for at least a few days, a week, sometimes several weeks, and sleep there, as opposed to a """camp""" where you go for the day and your parents or whoever picks you up afterward (those arent really camps, but like. idk when i went to "space camp" it was a weeklong but not sleepaway). in the U.S. at least, the typical image of a sleepaway camp involves staying in cabins, dunno how common it is/what it looks like in other countries.

for the first few i just mean like. not necessarily a stealth church camp, just like. idk, a camp where theres also an Assumption Of Christianity and just general vibes without being actually church camp. So, there might not be daily services and jesusy dedicatwd activities, but maybe theres still a prayer said over meals and shit. Which i assume might exist...

So there are 6 different species and aside from the mermaids, they're all compatable to have children.

I headcanon life expectancy, colouration, and the shape of facial or body features to be gradient traits, so they pretty much randomly combine between the two parents like any other child

Magical traits are probably more binary. So a fairy hybrid child could inherit the eyes, wings, and/or sparkles, or none, with no middle ground. A demon hybrid will usually inherit a faded form of the markings, but they won't always be able to transform or earn horns. Dwarf hybrids might inherit the ability to echolocate vs just having larger ears.

If two species with strong magic have a child, they're more likely to inherit magical traits (e.g. elves and fairies with strong magic vs humans and dwarves with low magic)

Considering the domains are all friendly with each other, I imagine it's fairly common to have mixed ancestry and there's no real taboo aside from the grief of lifespan differences

The reality is that most of the things I do to stim are self-damaging somehow so they can be easily hidden. Things like picking at my fingernails, biting the skin around my fingernails (until it bleeds), biting at my lips (my dentist has literally called me out on the 2 decades of scar tissue like 'please stop doing that' and I was like 'sir I do not even know that I am doing that until it's bleeding'), etc.

And I don't think I am special little knickknacks, unless you're a really great lateral thinker :D

I tried fidget toys briefly but I honestly have like however many decades of just using my body first and it's hard to remember to reach for them? I did like the poppy thingos and the fidget dice but I've lost both (thanks ADHD!), meanwhile my lips and fingers are right there dfsalkj
