I’m gonna start talking about the pieces of music that I’ve written, and sketch while talking and thinking about it. Maybe even while listening to it too! And then the sketch that I make could end up being the cover art for the piece. In the last week or so, I’ve been posting a few video recordings of myself playing various pieces that I’ve written over the last 13 years/latter half of my life. I’m proud to announce that I will be releasing an album this summer, about 17 tracks total (13 piano pieces + 4 piano/vocal/electronic instrumental tracks, with 3 overlaps). I realized that I feel confident in making that announcement and setting that goal, because I have been using Instagram for the purpose of accountability and to fuel my own vehement belief in myself and my ability to set goals and accomplish them, as well as taking pride and accepting compliments in my own skills and talents! 🤗🎶🎹❤️ My album’s title will be “The Path: Stories with Strangers”. Pas abis magrib mau pulang, tetiba ga enak badan di kantor, kepala sakit sama perut mual mual. Eh disamperin lah ke kantor sm dia, dari kebon sirih ke Citywalk Sudirman. Terakhir ketemu itu sebelum puasa tahun ini, dan ini pertemuan kita setelah gue balik ke Depok lagi. Gatau ya, pas liat dia seketika sakit ilang, yang ada bahagia aja bawaannya udah. Mungkin karena udah lama ga ketemu kali ya, and he’s one of my amazing friends. Gokil, sederhana, ga neko neko, apa adanya, yaa itulah dia. Kalau udah jalan sama dia, bawaannya semangat karena emang anaknya energik, gue selalu ngerasa dapet energi positif dari dia. Suka ngingetin juga tiap kali gue salah. Dan gue gamau kehilangan yang satu ini! haha, egois bgt yaa btw. Malem itu gue bener bener nyusahin dia, dia padahal udah ga tidur 3 hari, tapi rela nemenin gue balik Depok sementara seharusnya dia balik ke Tangerang. Harusnya naik gocar aja pulang, tapi karena moment langka akhirnya kita naik kereta, teteuuup wkwk. Gue liat jadwal di Stasiun Karet, masih ada kereta jam 23.18. Eh pas sampe sana malah keretanya 23.50 baru ada. Mana penuh lagi, padahal kan kita ngincer tempat duduk. Alhasil kita ga naik kereta yang itu, terus kita duduk lagi di peron, sampe diliatin sama anak2 santri gitu dari dalem kereta. Kocak dah pokoknya. Dan akhirnya kita bener2 naik kereta terakhir jurusan Manggarai, kosong bangeeeeet. Kita seneng dong wkwk. Transit di Stasiun Manggarai, nungguin lagi deh kereta ke Bogor. Actually, gue ngerasa bersalah banget bikin dia ga tidur cukup malem ini, gue udah suruh dia tidur di kereta eh dianya malah nyuruh gue balik. Untung ga sampe berantem jambak2 an cuma buat suruh tidur satu sama lain 😂😂😂. Aaiihh kocaakk sumpeeeh. Gaada dari kita yang bisa tidur sepanjang jalan itu. Bahkan dia kalau pun bablas ke Bogor udah ada rencana buat tidur di mushala kalau ga ya nyari villa 😌😆. Ngerasa bersalah banget gue, tapi dia lebih perhatiin dan pentingin kondisi gue 😭. Ini salah satu alasan kenapa sama dia gue nyaman. He knows how to treat me like a woman, a lady, like a good friend. He knows it. And im so thankful, grateful having him in my life. The best friend I’ve ever had. Udah tengah malem padahal tuh, tapi he can keep me safe. Dia bisa bikin gue ngerasa aman dan nyaman, thankyou lif. Thankyou udah jagain Welly semalem 😊😊.

5 Years ago i recorded this. I was in a state of disbelief when I heard that Robin Williams had killed himself. I was under the impression that, that option was off the table when you had kids. I was wrong and it scared me. I felt that I wanted to do or say something. I started then a Smile Campaign on Facebook in Memory of him and asked people to post themselves singing SMILE by Charlie Chaplin, since with his passing there would be far fewer Smiles in the world.
