The German subtitles translate it with plural, of course, since there's 2 people standing there.

There's no logical evidence that one person is singled out here.

I finished my Merlin rewatch... I hadn't realised how they actually do make it clear that he had fulfilled his destiny, just Merlin's destiny wasn't to keep Arthur alive to see peace throughout Albion through, Merlin just forgot in his villain arc, as Gilli says in Season 3 he pretended for too long he forgot who he was, and that's so true, but he also no longer cared about fulfilling his destiny so long as Arthur was still alive, and it's heartbreaking. All he wanted was his friend to know him, and be with him, and be alive.

I'm kind of mad that I let tumblr convince me that the Confession Scene was going to be cringe and bad and possibly borderline offensive, when it was actually sweet in the most heartbreaking of ways.

Like the events bracketing it were.... ehhhh (it's s15 what do you expect?), and Misha Collin's acting could've been improved, but I think it was genuine and kind in a lot of ways. Like s15 Dean has been so desperate and convinced that he's a terrible person with severe anger issues who only hurts the people around him, and Cas tells him that, no, Dean is lovable and the best thing about him is how much he loves the people around them and tries to take care of them. He's not led by anger or hate, he's motivated by love and that's why Cas loves him.

Again, the premise and the whole Empty thing is.... ehhh (it's s14 and s15 what did you expect?), but the actual scene itself in isolation is great. 10/10 made me cry, never listening to tumblr about anything ever again.

third semester's like an extra arc exclusive to royal which is EXTRA SPOILERY as it takes place after what was vanilla p5's ending and 2/2 is "sob like a bitch (/lh)" day for akechi fans (me) (i cried at 2/2)

it's easily one of the best arcs imo i think you'll have a lot of fun w/ it :3c
