I see we are sharing headcanons so let me give some of mine for Light!

I see him as firmly aroace in canon, but fics/ships are different lol

He's very well groomed, moreso than other boys/men his age. He takes a lot of pride in his appearance, and wears things like lotion, face masks, hair masks etc. But he hides this, even from Misa- caring too much about one's appearance is considered somewhat 'feminine' after all, and he has hang-ups about that kind of thing.

On that note, his favourite fragrance is green tea and cucumber, with a bit of bergamot. It's light, calming and soothing. It's too subtle of a fragrance, though, so he wears cologne instead, with more of a herbal scent, and just a hint of musk.

If you asked him if he preferred cats or dogs, he'd say dogs- dog people are generally considered friendlier and more extroverted. In actuality though, he prefers cats. He likes their intelligence, elegance, and that they're more independent. He's not fond of birds.

He doesnt just wear neutrals because they help him blend in more- he just likes them. He finds a wardrobe of primarily bright and saturated colours obnoxious.

He doesn't like alcohol. He can drink if need be, but he doesn't like it, and he'll never drink enough to get fully drunk. Both because it increases the risk of him slipping up and making a mistake- but also he doesn't like feeling vulnerable or exposed- which being piss drunk would involve.

He would take care of plants if he had more time on his hands. They're generally not high maintenance, and they look pretty- he does have an eye for pretty things.

He doesn't have OCD, but he's a total "neat freak". It wont make him upset or dysregulated if there's mess around- but he's like a mom, he'll roll up his sleeves and chide you about it.

Ryuk was Light's first, and to this day, only real friend.

Speaking of Ryuk- when he asks to play videogames, Light will sometimes (albeit rarely) accept. Only because it's amusing to watch the shinigami put so much effort in.

Light only got the game set for Sayu. She likes to play games, but had no one to play with, so, when they were younger, she'd cling onto his arm and beg to play video games with him.

Speaking of Sayu- he'd let her drag him into their parents room, and practice using their mom's makeup on him. He looked ridiculous with his short hair tied up into baby ponytails, too-pink blush on his cheeks and bright red lipstick and blue eyeshadow on. Still, it made her smile, and he always made sure to clean the makeup off and put it back neatly before anyone could find out.

If he'd gotten the chance to get older, he'd have actually started using concealer to hide any imperfections. Kira cant be seen looking a mess.

im so glad that we never get a clear picture of sophie’s background in leverage & i hope we never do. however i also really like making up various, often conflicting backstories for her in my head. perhaps they’re all backstories for an alias of hers, ones she laid to rest back in season two.

I have a butch friend who wears a lot of neckerchiefs, and she's always able to pull it off in this really fun and fashionable way. However when I wear it I look like this incredibly serious and earnest boy scout which is not a vibe I actively want but something I just have to own I guess.
