After watching the MN fight for their lives trying to make Essek their best friend and eventually succeding, it feels really special to see him out here making friends without them. Like the little moments with imogen during battle, or messing with Braius along with ashton, or how absolutely sweet and understanding and concerned he was for Laudna, it's a new side of him and I think it's beautiful that he's on his way to being part of two adventure parties and best man at two different lesbian weddings. It's what he deserves.

i don’t know if i’m ever gonna write the fic but i’ve been thinking abt like. the eternal stockade. the implications. lup, a lich who was trapped in a dark featureless cell for a decade completely isolated with nothing to keep her sanity but her own mind. she has to put people in the eternal stockade. how many liches does she see herself in. how many liches started out just like her. how many liches are truly too far gone. and the only liches we ever see other than her and barry are edward and lydia. they’re certainly evil, but mad? they seem pretty sane. they’re not, like, tattered echoes of souls, they’re definitely still people. even as much of a grudge as lup surely has against them, wouldn’t they remind her incredibly strongly of herself? do they deserve to be trapped just like she was? for eternity? isn’t eternity what turned john to existential despair in the first place?

i generally dont have that many sexuality headcanons for bfdi characters and if anything i dont think 99% of them even think about that kind of thing themselves but i do think there would be a bit where announcer's like. Im So Disappointed, You Guys. It's June. And None Of You Even Wished Me A Happy Pride Month At All. and the other contestants are like 'announcer are you gay? i dont think you ever told us that' and hes just like. No It's Fine. Whatever. Sheesh . and then the scene just carries on like normal

I've been thinking about how Peem is the narrator and the main character like @jojotichakorn said here and that is something that permeates the show as whole, from its structure to even things like the music, the colors, and the background (ok that last one might be me overthinking shit, but you get it). There is absolutely no denying that we get this story though Peem, he is the first one to talk to us, and he is the one that often reacts to things and people with us.

However, I think it is interesting that from what I've seen (and I'm aware I'm incredibly biased on this point), most of us would think of Phum as our representation in the story. Peem comes to us from within this insanely close beautiful friend group, and it's Phum the one that gets to be introduced to it, just like us.

Phum is the one that decides to follow Peem around, and because of that he gets to slowly discover love and warmth and friendship. Kind of like us, deciding to listen to Peem's story and getting all the beautiful things we've gotten because of it.

Bloodborne is seriously the most beautiful game of all time i think about this every single time i replay it but genuinely. Just exploring yharnam and staring in awe at how gorgeous everything is, its never about graphics, bloodborne has a noticeable stylization i think in a way even stronger than other fromsoft games, and the use of lighting and color palettes is just so good it makes me want to Be there. The game is already so stunning as it is ingame but i think having access to the map viewer on my own to the side made me appreciate it even more i love seeing the way everything is constructed and put together with just the flat textures before applying any engines and even as flat surfaces you can just feel the cohesion in the backgrounds, even textureless stripped of everything that makes it "beautiful" it still feels so unique and already gets the vibe across and that explains how the game feels the way it does visually, which is something i think a lot of current gen "high fidelity" games struggle with. Hard to explain what I mean but I feel it. Also i love the slight like chromatic aberration effect bb has on the edges of the screen it adds such a nice touch to the atmosphere honestly. Ok so like… I sent you an ask a little over a year ago to gush about how you’re one of my all time favorite blogs, and how you pushed me to draw more. Well, it’s a year later and I’ve been doing a ton of art and I’m continuing to study art in college (even though I was previously unsure about my major since I was feeling kind of burnt out). Anyway, I just wanna say thanks a ton for just being generally cool and awesome, and here’s a long overdue quick yam doodle, since I believed in my last ask I promised I’d sketch him for u.

i refuse to say that i miss that one piece promo tumblr did that put a massive clown in the bottom corner of the dash at all times because tumblrs promos are insufferable. but it did become a bit funny when people started using inspect element to replace the clown with whatever they wanted and i DO sometimes miss the litle plonk that hung out on my dash with me for that brief time

i know hoyo is setting up rhine to have good intent and whatever in her trying to 'save' khaneri'ah or whatever; but i REALLY hope they stay with the cruel persona thats been built up for her. because it would be so wonderful to see a character who had good intent in the beginning just get absolutely corrupted; with the inability to ever go back to that prior state purely because of what had happened. also because there is NO way in her turning back after all that shit
