I finally went to Margaritaville after repeatedly watching Ted and Eddy’s videos of “Ate at Every Margaritaville in the Country” and man it was…an experience

friggin' fic dropped fully formed into my sleeping brain night before last. early christmas present from the story elves. rancher duo au with both gaslamp and cyberpunk elements. jimmy has magic (everyone does, a little. he's a house cleaner) and about 134 siblings (grian and pearl are two of them. also impulse). tango is a fae and a necromancer hunter and jimmy doesn't know his bestie's not actually human. not because it's a big secret but just because tango thinks it's hilarious to mess with jimmy's little magics and then be all like O.O wow i wonder how that happened. i have approximately 1/8 of a plot but a lot of vibes.

#i literally dreamed this whole story in glorious detail it was so good #redwintertalks #it's one am i need to sleep i'm so tired #the human world is gaslamp and everyone has a little bit of magic #jimmy uses his and elbow grease to clean houses and sometimes break smallish curses #because he's got an unusual resistance to them #think oliver twist or sherlock holmes vibes with just a dash of magic #then the fae realm -- which isn't secret or anything you just have to have a passport that allows you to step over -- is all cyberpunk #towering neon skyscrapers and hovercars and bright colors and dark skies and shadowy alleys #and EVERYTHING is magic #i need a name for this au gotta think on that #but first. sleep. oh my gosh sleep.

I have a like 13 Going on 30 esque fic in my head where Evan and Jared are in a huge fight and then Evan suddenly finds himself a few years into a future where he and Jared are happily dating and he’s trying to decide if he even wants to go back to his own time (also 13 Going on 30 rules that like he is also in his older body and such) but there’s just too much to work out and so many holes that I feel like I will never get to it lmao

is anyone gonna write a Fic where Kai tries to make money via streaming cuz he heard it makes decent pay but he hates newer technology so its just ninjago citizens coaching kai via chat and recommending him games to try for thefirst time and he always curses a lot at the beginning but when he gets something right he's like "woo let's gooo :D!!!"

And every once in awhile jay or nya will join him and its the same basically except theu destroy kai at whatever theyre playing and theres a lot more cursing.

Or am i gonna have to write it myself?

#also one day lloyd comes in crying because hes had trouble sleeping for the past few days and Wu told him to stop training and take a nap #and kai turns the camera off but in his hurry forgets to mute his mike #and then there's a quiet conversation and then the camera turns back on to kai back in his chair but he has lloyd in his lap #and he's like #all right chat so i was gonna end stream early cuz Lloyd's not feeling well but he wanted me to keep going #so your all gonna be on your best behavior or the fire ninjas gonna take come to your house and take you down got it then he switches over #and quietly plays and talks to chat while lloyd falls asleep on him #and everyone is like absolutely stunned and/or going balistic at what they're seeing #Because the green ninja that saved them all is asleep on kai and apparently a cuddle bug #and kai isnt cursing or yelling at all and before lloyd fell asleep and was watching what kai was doing #and lloyd would talk kai was actually speaking *gently!?* to him?#something they've never seen before #And then Kai's p.o box gets flooded with a bunch of get well soon cards and other things for lloyd #Oh my gosh please don't make me write this I want to read it not write it #...I'm probably gonna have to write this aren't I?

#oh gosh ok the bit where the hulk says #‘What is wave doing attacking Hulk? Hulk will smash wave for this!’#made me fondly say ‘baby’ out loud #I love how the Hulk interprets everything unpleasant for him as an attack against him #it’s so charming #the Hulk genuinely is under attack a lot of the time #but he’s so sensitive and paranoid that he will feel under attack even when he’s not actually #he’s just so stressed out all of the time #and this is largely from the trauma of being attacked so much but it can’t all be attributed to that #like as I was saying before- no person needs to hurt the Hulk for him to get overwhelmed by the sights and smells and sounds of a city #and then smash it #because he typically lashes out physically when overwhelmed and hurt #regardless of if there’s a specific person that can be reasonably blamed #he’s both developmentally disabled and narratively cursed to always be going through terrible events #and I like how Namor approaches that here with ‘his savagery is not his fault’#and so ‘I must remember not to let his brutish mouthings anger me’#in an ideal world the Hulk would be able to grow in a way #where his friends wouldn’t have to just remember to not take his bad behavior personally #but they don’t live in an ideal world #and the Hulk has made a lot of progress in his time with the Defenders in regards to being a better friend #but that’s a slow-going process that’s only been possible because they make allowances for him #marvel #bruce banner #namor the sub mariner #my posts #comic panels
