So- Almost Paradise has me hooked on Christian Kane. And the thing is- I'm not like attracted to him. Not to say he's not good looking.

Christian Kane is ruggedly handsome. But his acting is honestly the most realistic thing in the world.

I mean- Eliot Spencer is different than Jacob Stone and Alex Walker- but they are the same. That easy going, mischievous, allowing his friends (really his family) to handle the situation (but will be in the background ready to beat somebody's butt the minute they need help.)

So, you can't argue with me when I say those boys are triplets. They are. Fight me.

I'm on my period and instead of working on the long list of things I should be doing I finally finished Song of Achilles! I sat down and was like, "oh, I'll just read for a little bit and then start getting stuff done," and then 4 hours later I finished the book and realized I totally missed my class lol. I probably was going to skip class anyway let's be so honest with ourselves right now but I was surprised by how absorbed I got, it's very rare that I am actually able to sit still and focus on anything for that long of a time, even when it's something I enjoy.

I loved the writing style of the entire book, and I hadn't really heard of the story of Patroclus and Achilles before so the ending was a bit of a surprise (like I knew how it ended in a vague, overarching sense but I didn't know any of the details)

Since it was from Patroclus's point of view it was not as obvious but like,,,, he was really smart. I thought it was such a cool parallel that while Achilles was meant to be this 'perfect warrior' and didn't think much of other people, Patroclus had almost a natural talent for healing and was one of the most person-oriented characters in the book, to the point that it ended up sealing both their fates in the end. I thought it was so beautiful and tragic and it will definitely be something I think about for a little too long lol.

Hazbin Hotel oc? Kinda?

I just like the simple style of the show, and feel since there are like mummy and other kinds of monster-ish sinners it won't be far-fetched to say that a sinner could look like a monster from their culture. So, here is my samodiva design for the Hazbin Hotel vers! It would also work with the fact that every person there has a feature that they hate, so if someone was very afraid of water/lakes/drowning/mermaids/water spirits, it would be a great direction to go in

She isn't really perfected, but I'm working on my Genshin ocs and don't feel like working with them anymore, so for now, that's how she will look

It is a show that is, to my mind, extremely cognizant of the void left by Endeavour winding up/coming to an end and would very much like to fill that particular niche. I respect it! I'm glad for it! But I spent a good 30% of every episode hissing "you'll NEVER be him" at the screen so its a moot point

I took a character design class over the summer and these two were at the center of it: March, a cockroach scientist, and Sonata, the cosmic keytar he befriends

There will absolutely be more of them because we did a SURPRISING amount of world building for these guys so another thing to look forward to!

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again
