Cartman claims he isn’t ticklish but like we all know that’s a lie.

The boys were hanging out at Stan’s house. They were in the living room watching Terrance and Phillip. Or at least they were trying to watch Terrence and Phillip. Stan and Kyle were play-fighting and tickling each other as per usual.

And at this point Cartman was used to it. He had gotten pretty good at tuning them and their gay ass antics out. But this was the last straw. He couldn’t hear the television over their stupid giggling and laughing.

“I’m so glad I’m not a ticklish little pussy like you guys,” The bigger boy muttered scooting closer to the TV.

At this point Kenny and Cartman had decided to sit on the floor since the other two boys were taking up the couch with their antics.

“Shut up fatass,” Kyle retorted.

Honestly, he was surprised they could fucking hear because he couldn’t.

“Yeah everyone is ticklish,” Stan said matter of factly.

“Not me,” Cartman replied, rolling his eyes.

“Okay, prove it. Me and Kyle do this all the time. Keep your arms up and if you really aren’t ticklish then you won’t laugh or anything,” The raven haired boy challenged.

“Maybe that’s how you super boyfriends or whatever the fuck you call yourselves like to spend your time but not me.” The brunette shot back.

“Dude if you aren’t ticklish then it shouldn’t matter!” Kenny added, taking his attention off the television.

“No…it’s okay guys. He’s probably lying anyway,” Stan concluded in annoyance. The other two boys nodded in agreement. They were going to just drop it and go back to watching TV.

“I am not!” Cartman wouldn’t necessarily count it as lying. His mom tickled him a little before but at most he squirmed away a little bit. It was nowhere near the reaction he’s seen his friends give to being tickled. So he was sure he had this little “challenge” in the bag.

“Okay fatass, then put your arms up!” Kyle responded.

“Fine but this is super gay,” Cartman grumbled walking on his knees toward the couch and lifting his arms.

Stan shot his fingers into the larger boy’s underarms and started scribbling. This caused Cartman to squeal and immediately try to retreat.

“See! I knew he was lying! Guys don’t let him escape! Grab his arms!” Stan shouted.

The two other boys immediately sprang to action to not let the brunette escape, holding him in place . They couldn’t… scratch that…they wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to put Cartman in his place.

This was way more than he expected. This was what those two were willingly doing to each other on a regular basis. He felt like he was being tortured. This was awful. He needed this to stop now.

“Okahahay, yohohou guhuhuys wihihin! Gehehet ohohohff alreheheheady!” The bigger boy demanded. He hated to admit defeat so early but what the actual fuck? He never experienced anything like this.

“Dude! Stan barely even tickled you!” The blond chuckled.

“Yeah, we finally found someone who’s more ticklish than me,” Kyle teased.

“Trust me. No one is more ticklish than you,” Stan said, not stopping the tickle attack.

The redhead growled playfully before pouncing on his best friend resuming their play fighting from before.

Normally this is when Cartman would tease them for how gay they are but honestly he was glad they turned their attention back on each other. He sat back up still trying to stop the residual giggles that were threatening to slip out.

“What was that you were saying again about not being ticklish?” Kenny teased. Cartman couldn’t see it but he definitely knew that the blond was wearing a shit eating grin.

“Shut up, Kenny!”

Soooo, tomorrow will not have a chapter, I need to prepare for a trip outside the country (there won't be chapter during my vacation) and I will go see a movie with my friend. (Omg she has a life).

Victoria was scrolling on GikTok -there is truly an equivalent app for everything- when she could hear some noise coming from outside. A few seconds later, Yuu and Grim came inside the dorm, completely disheveled and with scratches everywhere.

Victoria was shocked. She should have guessed from the game, but it was shocking to see this IRL. Yuu was in such a deplorable state…

Victoria dared to ask. How did it went ? You are both a mess… Get on the couch, I’ll get the first aid kit…”

Grim answered. “We were attacked by a big monster ! It was scary but thanks to the great Grim, I won !”

Yuu nodded. “Yeah we were attacked… But at least we have the stone. We will stay here.”

Victoria tended their wounds. “You came by in one piece, you’re truly lucky.”

Yuu added. “Tomorrow, first thing in the morning we will give the stone to Crowley…”

Victoria nodded. ”Ok, I hope he will be satisfied… Go get some sleep, both of you, you deserve it. You will take your shower tomorrow. I put some stuff I bought in your room, like a big fluffy towel. I also turned on the water boiler a few hours ago, so tomorrow we will have hot water.”

After parting ways and sleeping, They both took their shower with hot water to their delight. And for the question, Grim also took a shower.

After a breakfast composed of pancakes made by Victoria and a recipe found on the internet, they went with their day. Yuu went to the director with the mage stone and Victoria went back to the curtains.

Victoria was spritzing some lavender extract onto the 3rd curtain of the day when Yuu arrived, happily.

Yuu greeted her “Victoria ! Guess what ? I am going to be a student in this school with Grim !”

Victoria was overjoyed. “I am so happy for you Sweetie ! You need to make good friends and enjoy your school life ! Can I hug you ?”

Yuu nodded and Victoria took them in her arms. “You are going to have an eventful but happy life.”

[ok maybe I am lying a bit…] wondered Victoria while she also hugged Grim who was laughing hard. [What is important is their happiness now.]

Yuu laughed “I hope so… I need to get my uniform, see you tonight!”

Victoria waved at the running duo and then her smile disappeared. She had a bad feeling. Watching those events unfold in the game was exciting of course, but in reality… Will she be able to be there for Yuu and Grim ? Will Yuu be able to understand Victoria’s episode of bipolarity when they will strike ?

She sighted. [Well I am going to do my best and that’s what is important…]

A voice interrupted her. “Why the long sigh ? Too many moths ?” Crewel joked.

Victoria turned around. There was Crewel, Trein and Vargas. [I am going to be blind from too much beauty at the same place]

She tidied herself. “Not the moths sadly… I am just watching my teenage kid going to live their school life and as a good mom by proxy, I am already worried about their future foolishness.”

Trein arched an eyebrow. “You already consider yourself as their mom ? You are quite quick on the matter, Mrs Devi !”

She scratched her cheek. “Well, it is quite easy when you have no family. I mean, I dunno for Yuu, but I feel like it is my role as the older one to take care of them. We only have each other.”

After a short blank, Vargas answered with humid eyes. “You are way more responsible than I thought. You are truly a great woman, Mrs Devi !”

Victoria blinked her eyes “Thanks… I guess ?”

She truly stunned the 3 older men. How can someone feel so responsible for a child they just met ? Was she just that generous ? If that was the case, she was going to be devoured by the NRC.

Victoria added “I think doing shenanigans are normal for their age. I am sure you used to do them a lot. I used to prank my teacher by saying the neighbor dog ate it. Until one day he truly did it and had to give a munched exercise sheet to the teacher. We both weren’t amused by that.” she laughed at the end. It was a rather embarrassing moment.

Trein frowned his eyebrows. “You shouldn’t have done such jokes, you would have been like the boy who cried wolf for fun.”

Victoria slumped. “I am sorry sir. You know… Youngster foolishness.”

Crewel nudged her and whispered “I used to do the same.”

Victoria smiled, happy to know this fact. So except Trein, they had a rocky youth.

When the day was done, Victoria; Yuu and Grim found each other in the dorm.

Victoria smiled at her children “Show me your uniform !”

Grim showed off his ribbon “Take a good look henchwoman !”

Victoria clapped “Wow, it suits you well Grim ! It adds elegance !”

Yuu came down, done changing to the gray-ish uniform. “Look look ! Do I look good ?”

Victoria cheered. “You are the cutest ! But… you don’t have a waistcoat ?”

Yuu laughed, scratching their head. “Well… Apparently Ramshackle doesn’t have a color or it was forgotten.”

The woman sighed. “I will buy you a gray one so you are not left out of the pack.”

and the way you actually know how to write about military operations properly is both so interesting and adds to the immersion of the fic SO MUCH.. i never even bother to do research or anything but with the way it was handled in vienna was so interesting to me :3

Ok so right off the bat I have to say, I think it's a rather weird choice to have this scenes be on the same day as the attack itself. I can't under no circumstances imagine that they were not kept at the hospital. Were they even at a hospital? Elias says "about an hour after they'd taken you and Tim away". Why on earth would Tim come back to work, Jon I get, but Tim? Also, quarantine only for like a few hours? Allowing people back into the building when the worms aren't cleared out (why is that not under quarantine???) Kind of broke the immersion a bit for me there.

Second, wow, I read so many not getting what happened to Sasha in MAG 39, am I like the super minority of a few who knew exactly what happened in that moment? Like I said, we got instructions to check up on the table again, twice! Sasha then finds that table! She sees someone! She screams! And then suddenly her voice is all wonky with that echo-effect. I texted my sister when I finished S1 and went "So, Sasha got replaced" and she was like "Oh, did you listen to the credits?" and I was "Only a bit (didn't get to the Not!Sasha part of the credits), but it was obvious what happened?" My sister also didn't get it and had the revelation together with Jon in MAG 76^^

Okay, that out of the way, lets get to it!

ELIAS "I do apologise that it took me quite so long to figure out how to actually work the system. If I’d been quicker…" - Yeah sure…

JON "Tens of thousands of… things without mouths screaming as one." ELIAS "Yes. Horrible sound… Anyway!" - insert Jeremy Clarkson's Oh no! Anyway!-meme here

ELIAS "On the 15th of March last year" - March. May. Those months sound so similar! XD

Tim sounds sooo tired and done…

TIM "I spotted the tape recorder lying on the ground, and went over to, er, see if it was damaged" - haha, that "er" XD

TIM "I have a theory, actually. I think they weren’t ready to attack when you found the tunnels. It’s like, something in the Institute slows them down, and makes them, um, heh, sluggish." - Good job! The Corruption doesn't like the Eye, doesn't like to be seen. Could be used to cure the infection. Also, yes, we know they weren't ready. That's why the Web had to help^^

TIM "And that noise they make? That squirming sound? They don’t make it when they’re in the tunnels." - Already our first clue that whatever rules the Institute has no power over the tunnels.

TIM "They were sort of… wrapping around each other, like they were trying to form a… thing, like a structure or something. A ring. / …it looked like they were trying to make a doorway." - A… WORMHOLE! Badum Tss Our first ritual! First time around I found this sooo interesting and I was kinda bummed out that it was only mentioned once when Jon went exploring. After becoming aware of the rituals it finally clicked sometime later when I remembered Worm Stargate.

Not!Sasha sounds soooo wooden! Those brief answers. Assumptions when reciting events that still happened to the real Sasha. How she repeats what Jon says. I immediately was "Oh nooo… That's gonna be dangerous."

Static during Sasha's statement btw?

JON "Well, it’s thanks to you, to be honest. If you hadn’t met that ‘Michael’ thing…" - So here's what I totally got wrong about that episode. When I listened the first time I mixed up the "thanks to" and interpreted that sentence as "thanks to Michael", like Michael helped them directly in the Prentiss attack? Of course, it's meant because of the CO2 as weakness which they only discovered because Sasha went with Michael to find Timothy Hodge.

On second thought, the way Not!Sasha speaks is actually hilarious. Reminds me of the "Talking to you like a normal human being".

NOT!SASHA "He was looking at me strangely, but we were both quiet." - Not!Sasha actually a bit compelled here? Why would she tell Jon this?

JON "Are you feeling alright? You seem a bit out of it." - Ahhhh, deep down he Knows…

YES, finally Martin/Jon interaction again. I think, here during the S1 finale I started to ship them. Their energy was just soooo obvious! A friend of mine started listening not long ago and his first question to me, after he was done with S1 was: "So…. Are Martin and Jon a thing? (Because if yes, I'm on board!)"

MARTIN "Sorry." - Hnnnggg, I wanna hug him!

JON "Ah, it’s fine. I just…" - He's so tired and in pain but he's still soft…

MARTIN "No, I mean… I'm sorry I left you." - crying and tightly squeezing Martin

JON "Oh, Martin" - I'm dying here…

JON "I know." - Hnnggg, the way he says that… / "It’s fine, Martin. Everybody’s… [sigh] Everyone’s fine…" - dying even more

MARTIN "I think it must be the old Millbank Prison, like Tim was saying before." - Ok, back to business. First time name drop Millbank Prison!

MARTIN "I hadn’t seen any worms for a few minutes, and weirdly enough that actually started to worry me, like, if there weren’t any worms then I’d gone too far from the Institute. And there was more dust in those corridors too, and dead rats, even some discarded wine bottles. At one point there was an empty packet of mint imperials" - So Martin stumbled into Leitner's territory? Leitner apparently was far enough into the tunnels that he never encountered any worms. This was touched on again in MAG 152.

MARTIN "She was shot! Three times, that I could see. Three shots to the chest." - RIP Alex. His biggest mistake.

JON "I know that now, some deeper mystery. I think Gertrude Robinson found it, and I think that is why they killed her." - He's not wrong?

Yaaaay, S1 done and I managed to listen and send in my thoughts every single day! I'm excited to see how far I can push this^^ Some stats: MAG 1 - 19 took me 11 months!!!! MAG 20 bis 40 took me 20 days (finished S1 and started S2 on August 19th 2021)

What an ending to a first season!

WHYY do we have the same taste like those are my top 5 dynamics that i am soooo normal about (lying) in maybe a different order. like there are other sort of. connections that are up there but it's more about how the characters relate to each other rather than how they interact? but with those five it is both it is so much both how they interact and what they mean to and for each other what they reflect about the other in their interactions. like jackie in relation to nat makes me lose it but i am not caught up in the intricacies of their actual dynamic nearly as much (though it is relevant in the few moments we get. these two might be a bad example they are like my number 6 my honorable mention). meanwhile like.... shauna in relation to tai tai in relation to shauna AND how they interact with each other is so. it's so much. i will never be normal about them.

YES EXACTLY ALL OF THIS. that's why i handpicked those specific 5 ones. any two characters on this show (well at least those that were in the plane crash) are fascinating to think about in how they relate to each other and the ways in which most of them are narrative foils. i very much COULD (and might) at any point in time lose my mind about lottievan ESPECIALLY in relation to taissa. you can pair any of them really and there's something to analyze and something that makes their similarities or differences stand out when you put them together. but those 5 i listed are that AND the relationship they have which is hugely important to them as people and in many ways shapes them. the intricacies to how they interact alone makes me lose it. and i'm choosing right now to speak some more about lottielee cause it's a much less popular dynamic to explore but i think there's so much there. because i do Not think it's a healthy dynamic! not at all. in fact just yesterday i said those characters - in the context of the wilderness - are the two people who should Not be anywhere near each other. i don't think even if laura lee lived they'd have a GOOD influence on each other because while in that moment in time what laura lee said to lottie was something lottie found comfort in ultimately that would just be so much additional weight on lottie’s shoulders PLUS i don't think i have to explain to anyone that thinking of your friend as a prophet, chosen one, saint, you name it, is Not good for them! like being idealized is very much not a good experience at all and can be very damaging and DEFINITELY would be for lottie imo. but they also did care about each other so much! they had good intentions regarding each other! they loved each other! they did their best!! and laura lee's death haunts lottie for DECADES to come. it's something that's been on my mind CONSTANTLY since s2 started with adult lottie's vision of her

Not what you say to the pregnant mother of your twins... But his explanation is actually so sweet!

"He comes back with a green maternity maxi dress. It has long sleeves and some flower embroidery." - awww, Bradley being an actual sweetheart!!! My goodness!!! This just melting my heart. So, so, so sweet!!!

What is it?" - Bradley, darling, it's the simple fact that Ash is the love of your life. It's completely normal you can't lie to her. And the seating arangement is so sweet!!! Payback coming in with the kids and Jazz waiting with open arms is just so touching. And The interaction between Mickey and Jinx!!! So much said in so few words!!! Even just when he comes in and decides to sit with her before their conversation speaks volumes! You are so talented!!!!

This fills my heart with so much joy, Ash finally seeing and having a family filled with, as you so incredibly beautifully put, love, respect, protection. So, so, so beautiful!!! 💗

"Bradley offers you his hand, in case you want some support. You take it, not because you need it, but because you want to. You want his hand around yours." - I adore the way you show their affection and love for each other, romantic or otherwise, just so sweet! 💗

And the moment between Bradley and Goose!!!! My heart!!!!!! I love how all the girls are so ready with the name suggestions too, hahaha! And as much as the name Jacob Jay Bradshaw is heartmelting, this: - "“Pajamas Bradshaw.”" - would have been hilarious!!! Hahahaha, love that it is Ice who figures it out first! Hahahaha!

"“Can we go eat now?” Ava questions, making all the adults chuckle and the kids whine about being hungry." - cuteness overload, honestly I didn't think they could be cuter and here we are, you prove me wrong in the best way, I love it, love them, love, love, love 💗

I'll have to just sum up the moment with Jinx and Fanboy and the engagement, because if I start quoting, I'll end up copying the whole of them...

The moment between Jesse and Mickey is both so tender and toughing and sad and devastating! Poor Mickey wanting to take the next step! Poor Jesse not daring to! Ahhh, the drama of it all is so good!!! 💗

And the double engagement?!?!?!?!!!! Love it!!!! Bradley actually can keep a secret! Shocker. Sorry, I'm being too harsh with him. It comes from a place of love. Back to the engagement. So absoultely beautifully written!!!! My heart, these cuties and their love melt me competely. It truly is enviable how devoted they are to each other. Again, you wrote it so well, it was so right, and natural and Red actually getting Jake an engagement ring is so sweet. I love them. 💗

It somehow reminds me of my parents.”" - this part is so beautiful!!! It shows so much!!! Episode 11 breakdown

chayenzo has reached their bonnie & clyde peak in this episode and i’m living for it.

cha-young TORTURING and KILLING the three killers and vincenzo not holding her back

vincenzo letting her take the lead while ‘interrogating’ them... WHILE HOLDING HER COFFEE

at one point he looks worried when she ups the toxic smoke(?) flow (i think he doesn’t want her to lash out and regret what she did) but he doesn’t stop her.

he looks at her when they say they want to answer for their crimes in front of the law and she says “and who would that benefit?”

he’s letting her handle this all throughout the scene, and he’s seeing first hand what she’s capable of, what’s she comfortable with and how far she’s willing to go (which is all the way)

their dynamic has changed a lot from the previous episodes. they’ve truly become partners IN CRIME. (murder couple!!!!).

and as a good husband he tells her he’ll help her throw the people who killed her dad in the tiger’s cage when they’re done using them.

him telling her she belongs in the mafia!!!!!!!!!!! he fully recognised her as one of his own, someone who is capable of the same atrocities as he is and who he can rely on and trust as his equal.

her not reacting negatively when she finds out the extent of vincenzo’s mafia past / when shown the pictures of his killings. she even takes the picture of one of his murders out the prosecutor’s hand....

the HUG scene!!!!!!!!!!!! the chayenzo one, i should say. i think this is the most transparent vincenzo’s feelings have been made for cha-young and the audience to see (excluding the scene where he watches sleep).

first, he doesn’t want to stop drinking and uses the snacks as an excuse to continue drinking until 4 am. i think it’s important because so far vincenzo has done everything he’s said he would do. he does not lie or goes back on his words easily, EXCEPT WHEN CHA-YOUNG IS INVOLVED. the only time he does it for something else, it’s because he breaks the promise of not hurting others. although we’ve seen before how he lied about buying wine, it could just be because he was aware they were being followed and wanted to make sure nothing happened. but here, he clearly says they’ll only drink until 2 am, and when 3 am comes, HE’S THE ONE TO ASK HER TO DRINK UNTIL 4. he uses yet another excuse bc he doesn’t want to part ways with her yet.

then, she apologises for hugging him all of a sudden and he says there’s no need to say sorry, because she was worried. HE NOT ONLY DOESN’T MIND, HE’S TELLING HER IT’S A NORMAL REACTION. i truly think this says a lot bc all throughout the episode vincenzo is being hugged and he HATES it. he’s not a touchy person (except with cha-young ofc) and doesn’t like to be touched. but not only does he hug cha-young BACK, he’s saying she’s allowed to do that. They’re both testing their boundaries with each other.

also, when cha-young tells him she doesn’t know if her heart was beating bc of the situation or bc of her feelings for him, he looks like his own heart is beating really fast!! he swallows, looks away... vincenzo cassano, the mafia consigliere with no fear, is NERVOUS bc of hong cha-young 😭

finally, the HUG. when she says she’s testing to see if she has feelings for him, he smiles bc he finds her cute and he says he won’t move BC HE WANTS HER TO HUG HIM. he smiles as she’s hugging him bc he likes it UNTIL she hugs him harder and he feels nervous again (like he doesn’t want her to hear his fast heartbeat hahaha.) and his holding the chair bc he wants to hug her but he’s holding himself back. and then they look at each other and i just know he doesn’t know what to do hahaha.

meanwhile, cha-young looks at him intensely and i can just TELL that when she says “ah, i was wrong, it was because it was a dangerous situation” she’s LYING YOUR HONOR. she has the softest expression on her face, she’s definitely deeply in love with him lol.

then when she goes back to lie down, vincenzo literally doesn’t know what to do with himself. you can see he’s almost distraught!!! and the way he looks and smiles at her really softly just proves he knows she’s lying as well lol.

i think it’s interesting how the background music from chayenzo’s hug scene introduces his scene with his mom

in this episode vincenzo truly deepens his roots in South Korea, first with cha-young, then his mom, and finally the tenants

it’s also super symbolic that he picks up a thread and gives it back to her haha. it means that instead of serving their relationship, he’s ready to come back to her. he’s healing from the scar of being abandoned and he’s forgiving her.

also am i the only one who thinks the mom lowkey suspects/knows he’s her son? i really can’t tell if she can tell or not....

CHA-YOUNG BEING JEALOUS OF MIRI/POSSESSIVE OF VINCENZO IS SOMETHING I DIDN’T I NEEDED. the way she pushes her chair and hides her face hahahaha... and then she holds his arm!!!!!!

cha-young also puts her hand on his shoulder a lot this episode. they’re so naturally touchy with each other, and the contrast between how vincenzo handles physical touch from literally anyone but cha-young makes it even more domestic 😭

ALSO, vincenzo asking cha-young to come with him when he’s arrested... the parallels between him saying ‘let’s go, lawyer-nim’ when he protects her and ‘come with me, lawyer-nim’ when he’s in trouble...... PARTNERS IN CRIME

the tenants being not only understanding of his past, but PROUD and IMPRESSED???? they respect him much more now than before 😭

the whole Mr. An scene was soooo cool and satisfying!!!!!!

today’s episode was just ‘everyone wants to fuck vincenzo because he’s hot’ and where is the lie???

the tenants throwing him A LITERAL PARADE when he’s back. CHA-YOUNG ASKING IF IT’S A WEDDING HALL WHILE RESTING HER HAND ON HIS SHOULDER AND EVERYONE THROWING CONFETTI AT THEM????? they’re married in canon idc

she even tells him ��with all the support that you have, why don’t you make your own family here?” YOU TELL HIM, HE CAN JUST SETTLE HERE WITH THE GEUMGA GANG BC THEY HAVE HIS BACK AND STAY WITH YOU

the tenants telling him about the gold was so funny... hopefully V finds a way to get the gold and they all divide the money equally or something

now the scene where he tortures the arms dealer..... THIS IS THE HOTTEST SCENE IN THE DRAMA IDC IDC IDC

playing the Russian Roulette himself and not blinking an eye i’m— “there’s no limit to fear” your honor i know he murdered countless people but have you seen him at work???? who wouldn’t forgive him

I’m so glad we’re getting darker!vincenzo... i want to see the ruthless consigliere everyone fears !!!! more vengeance and murder everyone !!!!

i’m thankful they didn’t drag on the “who’s babo” story line bc that would’ve been frustrating. when vincenzo called cha-young and told her who junwoo was WHILE SHE WAS WITH HIM!! AND SHE ACTED SO PERFECTLY!!!

also she didn’t doubt vincenzo for a second and she straight up asks him if he’ll stick to the plan (of killing him) without a beat

this episode just showed that everyone in this show is a morally grey villain and i don’t think they’re going to be like ‘the main couple went to jail for a few years to pay for their crimes and then lived happily ever after’. if we follow that logic everyone has to go to jail for something loool. i want them to win with no consequences, get away with everything they did and destroy Babel, idc!!!!!!

You know, a shoulder surgery, release of BE, and a Grammy nomination just to list a few. Soooo all three of those are included in this. CHOPPING the celery, you hummed along with the acoustic melody resonating in the kitchen, the voices of your boyfriend and his members filling the space. The slow, sad tune was one of your favorites on the new album, but then again, you favored them all.

Looking down at your feet, you spotted the small fluffy dog staring up at you cutely. “I just wanna be happier,” you sang at the dog, “How about you, Holly?”

At hearing his name, he cocked his head at you, you smiling fondly. “Are you happy?” You continued your conversation with the pup in a tone that was higher pitched than your normal speaking voice. “What’s up? Do you want some celery?” You asked. “I don’t think you’ll like it much, bubs.”

You watched the dog for a moment longer before he got too excited, jumping up your leg causing you to giggle and relent. “Ok, ok,” you grinned, taking a small piece of the vegetable between your fingertips. Crouching down, you held it out for Holly to take, the dog carefully sniffing it. “I’m telling you, dude, you’re not gonna like it,” you told him just as he slowly grabbed the morsel from your fingers and dropped it to the floor. “Are you gonna eat it?” You questioned in surprise, both you and the dog too intrigued by the celery to notice the new kitchen visitor standing behind you.

“Is he eating celery?” Your boyfriend’s groggy voice suddenly sounded, you turning around in surprise and slight startlement.

“Shit, hi,” you greeted him, clutching your chest in fright, taking in his disheveled appearance as he had just woken up from a nap. “He’s considering,” you smiled before turning back to the dog. “I don’t think he’ll do it.”

“Holly, you’re not starving, buddy,” he told the little pup, a slight chuckle lacing the words. You listened as Yoongi’s feet shuffled closer to you, his hand suddenly finding its way to the back of your head, his fingers instantly slipping into your strands, lightly massaging your roots.

Taking his hand in yours, you brought it to your lips as you stood, leaving a light kiss to the back of it before trailing them down the bottom of his thumb and to his wrist. “How are you feeling, baby?” You asked him, the man giving you a soft close-mouthed grin that made his fluffy cheeks look even fuller.

“I feel fine,” he assured you, moving his hand in your grip to intertwine his fingers with your own as he leaned toward you, pressing a sweet kiss to your lips. “You should have woken me up, Kid,” he whispered against your lips.

Your mouth curved upward as you shook your head, kissing him once more before stepping back from him and reluctantly separating your hand from his. “Absolutely not,” you said simply, Yoongi scoffing as he pulled his gaze from you to the dog, you following his eyes to see Holly propped up on your boyfriend’s legs. Cast to the side was the piece of celery, you giggling as Yoongi smiled in amusement.

“Do you want a real treat?” He asked the dog, you looking fondly at your boyfriend’s wide-eyed gaze as he addressed Holly in a cutesy voice. “I’ll give you a real one, none of this celery stuff,” he playfully teased you, shooting you a gummy grin.

“Hey, he asked for it,” you defended, crossing your arms over your ribcage as Yoongi made his way across the kitchen to the treat cupboard.

You observed him as he reached for a plastic container with a twist lid, however stalling when he realized it would be quite difficult to take off with one arm. Instead he reached for the bag of treats next to it, using his teeth to hold one end of the zip lock as he pulled it open.

“Here you go, Holly,” he handed the pup the treat, the dog wiggling excitedly before running off to munch in peace. “That’s why I’m his favorite,” he told you with a smug smile, your mouth opening in feigned surprise.

“You think you’re Holly’s favorite?” You asked him, the man giving you a weak shrug, given one of his shoulders was out of commission. “Aw, Min,” you cooed. “When did you get so delusional, old man?”

Yoongi chuckled at you as he turned back to the bag of treats, a focus overtaking his face as he struggled to reseal it with one hand. Of course you felt for the man, having undergone a shoulder surgery in the recent weeks, but you’d be lying if you said it wasn’t amusing to watch him pout in frustration at a bag of dog treats. And you only became fonder when he finally sealed it, a quiet hum of satisfaction leaving his lips before turning to catch your gaze, you holding back a grin as his cheeks tinted pink.

“Everything is so much more difficult,” he whined in embarrassment, you allowing yourself to lightly laugh at his expense.

“You’re so cute though,” you complimented, the man grunting at the comment as he looked to the cutting board.

“What can I help with?” He asked you, you shooting him a glare.

“You can help by keeping me company,” you told him sternly. “Sit here and chat with me, I missed you today.”

Opening his mouth to contend your command, you held up your hand to him. “Don’t argue with me, I’ll stop helping you put your pants on,” you teased him, Yoongi letting out a silent laugh paired with his adorable gummy grin.

“That’s just cruel,” he joked back just before taking a seat across from you at the kitchen island. “Maybe I’ll just stop wearing pants then,” he suggested.

“Now who’s being cruel?” You questioned with a smirk, enjoying the amusement displayed on your boyfriend’s features. Picking the knife up, you continued chopping up vegetables as Yoongi watched you carefully. “How was therapy this morning?”

“I’m so tired,” he chuckled at himself as you pouted and cooed. “It was fine though,” he nodded.

“Good,” you grinned. “You better not be pushing yourself too hard,” you warned, Yoongi letting out a light laugh.

“I want to get back out there,” he noted, a small knowing smile forming on your lips. “I want to be ready to perform this album when we’re able,” he added, nodding to your phone as ‘Telepathy’ sounded through the speaker.

“And you will be ready,” you assured him, “as long as you pace yourself.”

“Yes ma’am,” he teased, you trying to hold back your smile but failing. “Have you picked a favorite yet?” He asked, referring to your favorite track on his group’s new album.

“I’ve always had a favorite,” you told him as you started lightly grooving to the upbeat track.

“This one?” He asked in surprise, making you roll our eyes as you started dancing more and singing along. “Wow,” he shook his head in disbelief. “Are you just saying this to make me feel good since I’m all laid up?” He asked, you giggling at the question.

“You’re so annoying,” you told him through your chuckle, reaching for a piece of celery and lightly tossing it at him. The piece of vegetable made contact with his cheek and he pulled a dramatic expression of shock, his mouth open as he playfully gasped. “Of course I’m just saying that to make you feel good,” you teased, Yoongi laughing breathily as he popped the piece of celery into his mouth.

“Thank you anyway,” he smiled softly as you let out a breathy laugh. You both watched each other for a moment, your eyes traveling each other’s faces before your gazes connected, Yoongi only holding contact for a second until quickly averting his orbs to the countertop.

Smiling to yourself, you placed the knife to the stone, the sound of metal clinking against the hard surface piquing Yoongi’s interest enough for him to look at the blade. As you began walking around the counter toward your boyfriend, his eyes found your hips, dragging up your frame, landing on your grin.

“The song is amazing,” you assured him seriously. “And I think this might be my favorite of your guys’ albums.”

“Really?” He asked curiously, his eyes widened as he studied your expression, replaying the words in his head to scrutinize your tone. You simply nodded as you slotted yourself between his legs, your hand meeting the back of his neck as you lightly played with the ends of his dark brown hair.

“And speaking as a fan,” you told him, dipping your head to catch his eyes. “I know all the other fans loving it as well.”

Flashing you a honey boy smile as his cheeks tinted pink, you leaned down to press a sweet kiss to their plushness. “You did good, Honey Boy,” you complimented, a breathy chuckle sounding from the man as he relaxed in your touch, dropping his forehead to your sternum, leaving a light kiss to your chest through your shirt.

“Thank you,” he whispered shyly. He sometimes had a hard time vocalizing it, but your opinion meant everything to him.

Running your hands through the back of his hair, you shook your head. “Thank you,” you countered.

“For what?” He asked wrapping an arm around your waist, allowing his fingers to lightly trace indistinct patterns against your side.

“For inspiring me daily,” you told him, the man looking up at you with an expression of adorable surprise, making you smile and lean down to kiss his soft lips fondly. “With your talent and hard work and openness to express your vulnerabilities. I know there’s a lot of people out there who appreciate it, but don’t forget that I’m one of them,” you informed him, the man taking a deep breath before letting it out slowly.

Leaving a kiss to the tip of his nose, you trailed them up the bridge until your lips met his forehead, leaving a series of pecks against his warm skin. “What’s on your mind, Min?” You whispered before placing another kiss to his hair. Probably a lot. A major shoulder surgery, a new album, Grammy nominations coming, you were sure it was busy inside his head.

“How lucky I am to have you,” he revealed shyly but boldly, you nearly cooing instantly. “And how much I hate this fucking shoulder right now because I can’t just grab you and take you right here like I want to,” he partially joked. Oh jesus christ.

“Oh my god,” you laughed, lightly slapping his uninjured arm. “You know what? I’ve settled on what your three best skills are.”

“What are they?” He asked, pulling you the slightest bit closer as he smirked at you.

“Rapping, producing, and ruining cute moments,” you told him, the man immediately laughing as he pulled a feigned thinking face.

“Kind of thought rocking your world was gonna be one but I’ll take it,” he replied, you groaning as you pulled out of his grasp.

“Have I told you you’re annoying?” You teased, leaning toward him to steal a quick kiss before stepping away from him, the man slowly chasing after your lips as you backed away, reaching for you with his functional arm only to shoot you a pout when you returned to the other side of the island.

“Of course you have,” he smiled.

“Good,” you said simply, wearing a fond grin as you returned to cooking.

“You’re so cute in your pj’s,” you cooed as you helped button his top, preparing to get into bed. You had finished eating dinner earlier in the night and Yoongi had helped you with dishes by rinsing them with his one functional arm. “I should get a matching pair, how adorable would that be?” You teased, Yoongi shooting you a look of disgust. “What is that face? It would be cute,” you defended playfully, only for your boyfriend to hold the expression as if you committed an atrocity. “Stop it, don’t pretend like you hate the idea.”

“I do hate the idea,” he defended weakly, hiding a smile.

“Oh whatever, I know you, Min,” you reminded him with a glare, the man huffing as you giggled, securing the last button on his pajama top. “Ok,” you lightly patted the right side of his chest after securing the final button. “All done.”

“Thanks,” he breathed out, watching as you reached for his shoulder brace. “I can put it on, Kid,” he told you, causing you to pause and stare at him. The two of you had been playfully fighting for weeks over taking care of him. The thing was, you both enjoyed you doting on the man a bit.

“I want to,” you pouted, Yoongi giving you a soft smile. Smirking in victory, you wiggled your hips happily just before you began placing his arm in the sling, Yoongi scoffing as he smiled.

As you adjusted the straps, ensuring his shoulder would be as comfortable and secure as possible, Yoongi watched you carefully. Fondly. When your eyes found his, catching him staring, he cleared his throat to play if off with an act of nonchalance.

“You know,” he started, determined to set your mind on something other than the fact that he had been staring at you with the softest smile you’d ever seen. “I’m beginning to get used to you waiting on me all the time,” he joked, you biting back a smile as you shook your head.

“Don’t you dare,” you warned him, pulling up on the velcro to resituate the strap.

“What?” He feigned innocence, his eyes widened with his lips secured in a small pout. You allowed yourself to smile as you let out a forced scoff to cover your amusement.

“Don’t you dare get used to it,” you told him sternly as he laughed silently, thoroughly amused and smitten. “You know what, just for that you can tuck yourself into bed,” you teased, walking away from him, Yoongi looking at you in pretend shock.

“Kid,” he whined with a smile as he watched you crawl under the covers, leaving the grown man to fend for himself.

Opening your laptop, you kept your eyes in a glare as Yoongi shuffled to the bed, staring at you with a pout as you resisted the urge to smile. “Stop looking at me, Min,” you told him, your straight face breaking as he chuckled, you giggling as you pulled up the Grammys website.

Carefully but lacking grace, Yoongi crawled into bed next to you and looked over your shoulder at the screen. “What time are they announcing nominations?”

“Um,” you looked at the time, doing the math in your head. “Should be around 2 or 3 am, so a couple hours. Do you want to get some sleep and set an alarm? Or do you want to wait up?” You asked, looking at him, reading the nervousness in his features instantly.

A soft smile overtook your face as he breathed out slowly. “Uh, I think wait up,” he nodded to himself. “Yeah, wait up.”

“Ok, baby,” you nodded back. His eyes were glued to the screen, and more specifically the gramophone displayed in the top left corner. You knew he wanted this. It was the highest honor a musician could receive for their work, so of course the boys wanted that. And you couldn’t think of anyone more deserving. Even when you stripped back all of the hard work and hardships, the years of struggles for credibility and spotlight under a new company with no money, defying the odds and breaking through as a worldwide act, the music was still amazing. The music is what gave you the intuitive confidence to assure your boyfriend that he had nothing to worry about. “You’re going to get nominated,” you assured him sincerly. “I can feel it.”

“Yeah?” He asked, his eyes slowly leaving the screen to meet your face, his cheeks looking plush and kissable in the glow of the computer monitor.

“Yeah,” you nodded, reaching for his face, gently placing your palm to his cheek, simply because you just had to feel their fluffiness on your fingertips. “And if you don’t, I’ll start drafting a letter to the recording academy immediately to scold them for committing the biggest snub in Grammys history,” you joked. Your lame humor was met with a highly amused gummy grin and an adorable shy giggle as he turned his face into your hand to kiss the inside of your wrist. “Between me and Army, just imagine all the scathing articles the recording academy will be met with,” you added, Yoongi chuckling further, the sound of his laughter making your belly feel warm and content.

“Well hopefully we’re nominated,” he said through his light laughter. “For two reasons,” he clarified, you raising your eyebrows curiously. “You’re scary when mad and also that would be very embarrassing to have my girlfriend send a letter to the recording academy on my group’s behalf,” he laughed more, you joining him as your hand slid to the side of his neck.

“Well then, they better nominate you,” you agreed just as Holly jumped onto the bed, nuzzling next to yours and Yoongi’s legs, both of you shooting fond grins at the little pup.

You weren’t sure what time it was but the grogginess in your mind told you it was much too early to be awake yet. So why were you?

“Kid,” a hushed whisper sounded next to you, you groaning in response. “Kid, wake up, baby,” the voice sounded again.

“Hmm?” You hummed, still too tired to peel your eyes open.

“We fell asleep,” Yoongi told you, you humming again. “Kid, the nominations have been announced.”

At that statement, your eyes popped open, your hazy gaze searching for Yoongi. Blinking the sleep away, you squinted at your boyfriend as your eyes adjusted to being open. His face coming into clarity in the early morning hours, you studied his features, preparing to either celebrate or console. With a racing heart, you watched as his lips curved into a massive gummy smile, and tears pricked your eyes instantly.

“Oh my god,” you whispered huskily.

“We’re nominated for a Grammy,” he told you, the words hitting you with the force of reality causing you to shoot up from the covers startling Holly as you did so, the dog looking at you in confusion.

“Oh my god, Yoongi,” you squealed, standing on your knees as you lightly bounced, trying to be careful not to create too much motion that you would hurt his shoulder, pumping your arms in the air gleefully. Holly jumped up, hopping against you for a moment. “Oh my god,” you screamed excitedly, Yoongi laughing as he let out a happy excited yell of his own. Holly leaped onto Yoongi’s lap, barking at the commotion, unaware that he was partaking in a celebration. “Yoongi, oh my fucking god,” you yelled once more through Yoongi’s own excited squealing as he pet the dogs face giddily.

Showing you his phone, you skimmed through his group chat with the boys, the photo of the nomination taking center stage, the texts full of yells of excitement making you smile widely. Another squeal left you as you dropped the phone and placed your hands to the sides of Yoongi’s face, Holly deciding to settle on your empty side of the bed next to you and Yoongi. “Baby, you’re nominated for a Grammy,” you told him, the words fully hitting Yoongi as it sunk in for the first time. You watched as his eyes became glassy, emotion overwhelming the man.

Crawling closer to your boyfriend, you placed yourself on his lap and wrapped an arm around the back of his neck, careful not to make contact with his recovering shoulder. Yoongi instantly rested his head against your shoulder and it didn’t take long to hear sniffles as he body shook, the man crying into the fabric of your pajama top.

“Oh, you did it, Min,” you whispered, kissing the top of his head a few times quickly as your fingers comfortingly toyed with his strands at the nape of his neck. “I’m so proud of you,” you spoke into his hair, the man’s arm wrapping around your waist to pull you firmly against his side as he continued to cry.

The two of you sat like that for a moment, the only sounds coming from you both being his silent sobs and your occasional kisses to his head and the whispered compliment on how deserving he was. There’s a special kind of happiness you feel when the people you love achieve a certain level of happiness themselves. And well, Yoongi was really happy in that moment. And you loved him more than anyone.

Eventually, his tears slowed and he looked up to you, finding you smiling down at him with your own lash closed to the brink of overflowing emotion. “Not to brag but,” you stared playfully, “I did tell you that you’d be nominated,” you teased, Yoongi chuckling as he craned his neck uncomfortably to find your lips. Watching you be so happy and supportive of him, he couldn’t quite relay his gratitude for you through words. He needed to show you.

Happily, you kissed him back, the meeting full of passion and love. The kiss was an act of sharing and relaying pride and excitement and relief and thankfulness, and just all the intense emotions hitting you both in that moment. It was slow but meaningful, the kiss full of intent but frantic and messy. It was perfect.

When he pulled away just slightly, he took a shaky breath, letting out a single breathy laugh of disbelief. “The recording academy must have felt the energy of your threat,” he joked, you shaking your head with a fond smile.

“Nah uh,” you told him. “This was all you guys.” Yoongi took a deep breath, letting it out slowly as you wiped under his eyes gently, ridding him of his tears. “You deserve this, Yoongi,” you assured him.

“I love you,” he told you as a soft honey boy smile graced his face.

Leaning down once again, you kissed his lips softly. “I love you too,” you whispered against his mouth. “My Grammy nominated Honey Boy,” you smiled, Yoongi chuckling as he connected his lips to yours once again.
