Mid-Century Burst | CC-Free

A tricky little shell challenge that you can get some use out of too! Tried to dig into some 70s inspo for the exterior on this one. This is 2 bed, 1 bath, fully-furnished and CC-free. Because of the limited size of the main shell, I added a detached garage with an apartment on top, which adds +1 studio bedroom and +1 bathroom.

The TS4 shell challenge I used for this lot was called "BubbleShell3" on the gallery from the ID "bubblesisgaming". I'm also playing around with using random palette generators for room inspo, this time from ColorHunt. It's been fun and I recommend using it to get out of your comfort zone!

HELLO- Look who finished her ALNST OC's design!!!

Ths is Ava, she's a 26 year old singer whose guardian is the head of a big publishing company. She usually has to tag along to meetings and parties bc they like to show her off.

Marketed as a pretty face with a mysterious smile, Ava was told not to mingle with others too much, to keep up her image.

She's very "head empty no thoughts" but not in a funny silly way but in an "if I kill my ego and just listen to what I am told and be the best at what I do, they will leave me be" kind of way. She does however have very little ambition and an "if I die I die" attitude.

Surprisingly clumsy (do not let her cook).

no reptiles manchester night 2 of mountainhead tour proper, where jeremy took his in-ears out and stared out at the crowd singing back sort of... stunned? appreciative? i think about it a lot

pre-show in leeds when @shallowtboy and i started chatting to this kid and his older brother and all trying to decipher the setlist together with the power of iphone zoom (said kid also yelled PETE! I LOVE PETE when pete came out to do his set-up stuff and OH it made my night. you and me both brother)

general point: the fact that alex always seems to be smiling about something or other during the beginning of your money, my summer. not sure what that's about but it replenishes my soul nonetheless

Note 1: last 2 comics are not related to the stage play. One is about a song singed by Chloé and JJ voice actors and the other is when the anime ended, but since they were presented as tiny comics we decided to make them too.

i like bad special effects. meaning not just old and outdated (which in a lot of cases were actually groundbreaking for their time, but i digress) but also low-budget or rushed or just kinda corny and poorly executed. i think it adds charm where a lot of more polished productions are lacking.

i love frontiers with my whole heart but it would have benefited so much from having the platforming be tied into the environment itself instead of placing assets all over the islands. i don't necessarily have problems with the assets either but i'd imagine they would've served their purpose better when used far more sparingly and probably have them tied further into the ancients' technology to emphasize their artificial nature. that probably would've made the exploration angle of the game more memorable as well by making the player concretely interact with the environmental storytelling at hand more often instead of giving them funny rails and springs and platforms that take the focus away from the environment around you in favor of delivering a more traditional platforming challenge where the island is just a backdrop

with the vocaloid beta studio synth, nagi beta, i do hope they change his representational image someday. i dont mind vsynths having abstract boxart and designs and stuff, i like the dreamtonics letter people situation, i adore the hairstick and sword designs the vy's have, but man.

Sometimes I like to entertain the concept of some ships specifically because they're a little silly but not take them seriously at all. Like Phoenix and Godot, it fits Phoenix's type of people who are mean to him and I specifically think that it's funny for Godot to tell Phoenix that he reminds him of his dead girlfriend like... that's a little fruity but ok.

I'm here to have fun and sometimes it's fun to consider things that do not make any sense but are ultimately, just a little funny.
