If we're talking about emerald duo, they're often misconstrued with each other which is objectively funny. Techno is the reasonable one. Techno always has a reason for what he does and is honorable in his tactics. He'll always go into something well-prepared but when the fight is over it's over.

Now, Phil on the other hand. This motherfucker craves chaos. He'll go along with any plan of Techno's purely for the fun of it. He's the one you need to watch out for even after the treaty's been signed. If it'll give him a laugh, hell if it makes him a smile, he'll do it, damn the consequences.

And maybe there's reasons for this. Technoblade who never dies versus Phil who is always worried about dying. Phil is chaotic to enjoy the life he has because he knows he very much can die with one misstep, the man who lives in hardcore knows how fragile life is even if he's Death's chosen being.

Techno on the other hand is Technoblade, the one who never dies. Techno is ruthless in battle and unmatched. He never dies so there is little to worry about, and so he takes life differently than his friend who lives for the adrenaline. Techno takes care in every action because he knows others are not as strong as him. Techno knows he can come back from anything and knows that others can't do so, whereas Phil knows others can't go the lengths he can go and laughs at them.

Y’all! The city council for Kansas Missouri just introduced a resolution to make the city a sanctuary city for transgender people! This is fantastic because this could provide legal protection for trans people in Missouri who are receiving trans healthcare!

I know it’s not helpful for the trans people aren’t located near Kansas City, but this will still help protect a lot of transgender people and that’s an amazing first step!

Imagine you were a mixed race boy born in Hertfordshire, different from everyone else around you. Bullied in school, being raised by your father to compete in a sport where money is very much of essence and you and your family do not have a lot of it. And then you meet this other boy who comes from the kind of life you dream to live one day. You're friends and fierce competitors. You find solace in each other. You visit Monaco for the first time with your friend, dreaming up the life you will have when you make it, when you beat out of the mould that the world thought it could capture you in.

And then you two grow through the ranks and you're at the pinnacle of your sport and you have what it takes to win and the world recognises that you can win. And you win. You win with your friend and fiercest competitor by your side fighting with you for those wins, and this fighting ruins something something that was valuable to both of you when you were still innocent and unsullied by life.

But despite everything that went into the doing and undoing of this relationship, you still realise that this person you once called a friend has a life and family beyond your bitter dynamic. He has children, and children need love and affection and good memories. And you're a better man now so you understand that. So you make sure the kids get gifts on Christmas. And you make sure of it every year. Afterall, if you met someone you loved deeply when you were both kids, wouldn't you feel a pang of nostalgia when they had kids. Wouldn't you try to extend the warmth that you couldn't find for your friend to his children. Afterall, whatever happens during childhood basically remains with you forever.

I am SO grateful that ed and stede exist as characters exactly as they are. I'm so grateful for these two men who are traumatized and messed up and struggle to even like themselves, who are terrible at communicating, who make enough mistakes between the two of them to fill an entire ocean. I am so grateful to watch them struggle and be seen and be loved and reach out for the things they want and are maybe starting to believe that they deserve. I'm so grateful that the show lets them fall in love and get together exactly as they are, that it doesn't say they need to wait until they've become some unattainably perfect version of themselves before they have permission to have that. i am so grateful for ofmd

the fact that adam is the one who tells us "[Ronan's] code of honor left no room for infidelity, for casual relationships. it wasn't that he didn't condone them; he couldn't understand them." will forever get me like adam is always reiterating ronan's capacity for love and intense devotion without even knowing that he PRAYED FOR HIM ON FIRST SIGHT.... & then he takes the time to completely process that before allowing himself to be with ronan (this didn't feel like a game and ASKING GANSEY ABT LOVE AFTER THEIR FIRST KISS) knowing how badly he wanted to accept it but wanting to be sure that he could return it. he approaches it differently but every bit as seriously as ronan does. bc it means so much to both of them, it isn't a game, they both know what this will be if they let it. who has he ever had to love him ever adam parrish is loved by someone that he himself has described multiple times as being intensely and singularly dedicated to what he loves, and expressing that love without restraint on a level adam marvels at. it is literally like nothing adam has ever known and every ounce of it is directed right at him.

The thing that gets me about history and humanity is that you never know what is immortalized, and the things that will be immortalized are things you would never think.

I saw a person sharing a new tattoo, and it was one of Onfim's drawings. A boy who lived so long ago he is barely a blip now, but his drawings meant so much to people that somebody is now permanently marked in their skin with one of those drawings. Do you ever look at the things you make and just sit there and wonder if this is the thing that future people look at? Do you ever look at your art, your writing, your schoolwork, or anything that is yours and just wonder who will find it, who will fall in love with a piece of your humanity and become overwhelmed with emotion over? It's not unlikely. It's not totally unlikely that somebody will find a piece of you in the distant future and devoid of any other context of who you were will still love you because you were here. You were here, and you are still here, even hundreds or thousands of years later. Treat yourself with the same love that so many have for dear Onfim.
