i hate to admit it but they were right btw, you do need to surround yourself with motivated / self-improvement people to be able to stay consistent in working on your future. no shade to my closest friends but one of them did say "i dont have any vision or any dream for the next ten years" and the other was all "maybe you should accept that there are something you just couldn't do". theyre awesome people but uh i think im gonna try leaving this cycle of helplessness and commiseration. wish me luck.
"--like that's in any way my fault, like maybe if she just went to a different -- what?" Eun yoo sends a disgusted look at her phone while she slides into the back of the car, pulling her bag off her shoulder to drop on the seat next to her. "Okay, that's literally a her issue. I don't know why she has my name in her mouth at all. Listen, I really don't care about any of this so if she wants to tell everyone I ruined her engagement, let her. Okay? I promise I won't get mad at you for not standing up for my honor or whatever."
While Maggie blabbers on about friendship and reputation Eun Yoo leans over to the front seats and rustles around in the glove compartment until she finds a microfiber rag for glasses, and she slides on some gloves before she uses it to wipe off a small bag containing a fine white powder. Then she drops the bag into her purse and tosses the rag onto the front passenger seat. "Yeah, I know, but even I'm not sadistic enough go after a girl who just got dumped by her fiance." She cuts a glare to Ollie, because Eun Yoo wouldn't put it past her to laugh out loud at that. "Sounds good. Still on the no carbs thing?" A pause. "Okay, then we can go to-- yeah. That's fine. I like their soup. Yep. See ya later."
With a roll of her eyes, Eun Yoo finally pulls her seat belt on. "Hey, I need to use your phone." Pauses for a second to think. "Also, what type of cologne do broke men wear?" She really only knows the shit her father personally uses, which is not helpful at all to her plan.
