Listen, you should never film strangers in public without their consent, but I swear there need to be fines or something for people who do that shit in some spaces. For example: I had to go to the ER last night, and some jerk filmed a woman who just came in and was clearly having an asthma attack. She immediately got to go back, and he was unhappy about that. Believe me, I get that it sucks having to wait when you're in pain, but you don't get to pick who deserves care when. The medical system in the US is a nightmare, and the ER could be the worst moment of someone's life. No one deserves to be recorded because some jack ass believes someone doesn't look like they need care.
This is fine to reblog. People who film strangers should be shamed if nothing else.

Fun little silly thought I had about the Lair Games and specifically Leo deliberately losing is all the reasons he could have for doing so.
My favorite headcanon for his main motivation is that Splinter wasn’t proud of him anymore.
I imagine that, in the beginning, winning the Lair Games was Leo’s opportunity to shine. He wasn’t artistic or the baby of the family like Mikey, wasn’t a tech genius who created amazing inventions like Donnie, wasn’t the eldest who was insanely strong and dependable like Raph. So he had to shine somewhere else- anywhere else- and what better way to get attention than to be a winner? A champion?
And then he won too much. And it wasn’t special anymore. He got too big headed, too cocky, he knew this was his element and he ran with it.
Splinter’s words of congratulations slowly petered out. Suddenly, there was no real reason to win.
Winning feels empty when the only one cheering you on is yourself.
So- Leo schemed. And he’s a great schemer, fooling his whole family (and Donnie did deserve a win- people were way happier when he won.)
He even gave up his prized possession! His room!
Though he knows his brothers probably think it’s a bad prize. A terrible one, even.
Leo doesn’t sleep much as is, though. So Dad’s snores were more comforting than anything. It was reassuring to hear him so clearly alive and close by.
Even if the distance between them was larger than Leo’d like.
He’d just have to find something else, something more to show his dad that Leo was someone to trust, to be proud of, to love.
He gets his chance soon after, when he needs to pull off a plan against Big Mama at his dad’s side. Leo can only hope this victory is one that has a lasting effect when his father looks at him with pride once more.
Victory, for Leo, is a pretty loaded term.

i desperately want more spin-offs like UDG where we're given the events of DR through Very Different points of view.
one idea i always enjoyed is a Protagonist completely disconnected from the main cast, who does not know or care that the Remnants were once innocent kids and will once again be (mostly) innocent kids, who is not invested in hope versus despair or whatever the fuck. they see terrorists and suffering and they want the Remnants dead.
battling big-ass Nekomaru is cool and all, but i'm thinking boss fights to agonize the player where you're chasing down non-fighters like Ibuki and Mahiru and you see a flash of who they used to be before delivering the blow. each time the protagonist has to be convinced to only knock them out, to let the FF deal with them. each time the protagonist has to tell themself that the infinite layers of grief they see in those young eyes are manipulative, false.
you don't know who Sato or Natsumi or Chiaki are. you know half your friends are gone and your city's exploded and you haven't heard from your partner in two months. you're able to split up the yakuza couple and, heavily injured and unable to move, the bodyguard woman with the sword yells for her boss. what was it? Inuhiko? Fuyuhiko? she reaches out. you swing the bat.
because it doesn't matter what they were: it only matters what they took from you, the Protagonist

was thinkin again about how 47 wears Lucas's coat during the mission in Berlin, so I had to draw a quick sketch to try and capture the somber and complicated emotions that I imagine 47 was feeling at that time ;n; losing a brother that he was just starting to get to know all over again must've been so difficult, gosh;;
please do not repost.

once again thinking about cloud “there’s someone in me that isn’t me,” “i have to leave, i’m afraid I won’t be able to stop him next time,” “i’m sorry i couldn’t be your cloud,” “maybe one day you’ll get to meet the ‘real cloud,’” “i was never hunting sephiroth, he was always calling me,” “please give me a number professor,” “tell him that when you see him again, it’ll mean the world to him, okay?” “back then we got by with scraped knees,” “hey, tifa” strife.

« Peeta, who spends much of the night roaming the train, hears me screaming as I struggle to break out of the haze of drugs that merely prolong the horrible dreams. He manages to wake me and calm me down. Then he climbs into bed to hold me until I fall back to sleep. »
will always be a sucker for a hurt/comfort post-nightmare moment.

Hi Gomz!! Here with 7 and 17 for the amorous asks please (for either Raven or Jelly or both!)
Hi there :D 7 has been answered here so I'll do 17 for the ask game!
17. Would your OC ever be confident in making the first move? Or do they prefer to wait for the other person to do so? If they are in a relationship then who made the first move in that instance?
Jelly
ngl, I haven't thought about it in detail BUT Jelly definitely isn't the type of gal that does the first move, and in fact-
she's a bit oblivious when it comes to advances because she's convinced she'll stay single forever LMAO
so Ghost was the one who did the first move- well actually he just went "I like this one" and pick her up and she went "o- ok then"
Raven
Right so Raven, our bird girl is a bit complicated see- she is confident enough to make the first move, but only because she's a possessive person who doesn't want anyone else to touch Price. I would say based on my what I wrote back then...Raven and Price...kind of...both did the first move? Raven sort of gave the "ok" sign discreetly and Price went ham then
