“Are you sure no one saw you come in here?”

“Yes, I’m sure,” Zuko says with a huff after closing the flaps of your tent. “You know, I’m starting to think you’re embarrassed to be seen with me.”

“You know that’s not true,” you argue with a frown. “I just enjoy having some privacy. I know those guys are going to make a big deal about us being together, and I just want to enjoy our relationship without having to deal with any prying eyes.”

“I know,” he admits with a sigh. “I’m just tired of sneaking around. Do you know how difficult it is not to kiss you or check on you after a fight with my sister? It’s torture.”

“It’s just until the war is over. There’s a lot at stake right now, and it would be a weird time to come clean. It’ll be over before you know it.”

“I hope you’re right,” Zuko murmurs with a frown, one that immediately melts away at the feel of your arms wrapping around his midsection. It’s hard to be upset when you’re smiling up at him with the purest look of adoration in your eyes. Despite everything, all of his flaws and mistakes and cruelty, you love him, and it fuels the warmth inside of his heart knowing he has someone like you. Maybe he would have joined the Avatar and his friends sooner if he knew it would lead him to you.

“At least we’re finally alone,” he notes with a faint smile before leaning down to press his lips against your own in a long awaited kiss. He hasn’t been able to give or receive affection all day, and it isn’t until now with your chest pressed against his own that he’s finally able to truly feel relaxed.

Unfortunately, you’re both too engrossed in each other to notice the rustling of your tent flaps as Sokka and Toph let themselves in without a second thought.

“Hey, y/n, Toph and I are gonna head into town, do you want to- oh, gross!” He cries after catching Zuko and yourself mid lip lock.

You both jump at the intrusion, knocking your head together on accident and groaning in unison at the impact.

“Sokka!” You cry out in embarrassment. “Monkey feathers, don’t you knock?!”

“It’s a tent! There is no knocking!” He yells back defensively, equally as upset as you are. “I can’t believe you guys were kissing!”

“We weren’t kissing,” Zuko argues, his face red with embarrassment. “We were… hugging… with our… mouths?”

“Oh, spirits,” you groan, your palm hitting your forehead in embarrassment at Zuko’s horrible attempt at lying. For a Prince, he has a terrible way with words. You’d think all that time spent with his Uncle would make his vocabulary more eloquent.

“If Toph could see she’d be very upset right now!” Sokka scolds, but the girl beside him simply shrugs.

“Actually, this works out great for me. Katara owes me five gold pieces now,” she says with a grin.

“You guys knew they were dating and didn’t tell me?!” The water tribe boy says in offense.

“I had a hunch, but Katara disagreed, so we made a bet.”

“Enough already! This is mortifying enough as it is,” you groan impatiently. “Sokka, we’ll talk about this later. For now, I need both of you out!”

After getting the two to leave the tent, you shut it closed with an irritated sigh. You’re absolutely humiliated, and you don’t think you can show your face to your friends ever again.

“So much for keeping it a secret,” the fire bender mutters.

“You,” you say with an accusatory finger pointed at the Prince, “need to learn how to lie better.”

“I know,” he admits meekly, awkwardly scratching the back of his neck. Sighing, you open your water pouch and tend to the growing bump on his head from your previous collision. You can’t stay mad at him when he looks so flustered and sweet, so instead you merely throw your arms around his neck and pull him back in for another kiss.

You can focus on coming clean later. For now, you just want to enjoy your moment of peace with the boy you love.

what if charles & y/n where childhood friends and they always pretended to be married as kids (yk those games 😭😂) and then in the future they DO get married and one of their family members brings it up at the wedding and it's very funny but cute!

"We actually have a surprise for you", you mother said as she and Pascale looked at eachother before the guy in charge of the projector on the wall started playing a video. It was old, slightly grainy and you were not sure of what it was until it showed you and Charles.

"Why do we have to film it again, Y/N?", you heard your mother's voice as she focused the camera on you. You were wearing a pink dress and had some flowers on your hand, "Because me and Charles need to have this recorded for when we are older!", you smiled, "and what are you doing?", Charles' father's voice was heard, "we're getting married! Because Pascale and Hervé love eachother and they got married, mama and papa got married because they love eachother, so we are getting married, too!", you beamed.

Charles stood in the middle of the living room, Lorenzo taking the spot on his side as you walked closer to Charles. While Lorenzo was older than both of you, he went along, saying something about true love and how you were meant to be together. "Charles, do you have any vows?", he asked. "What are vows?", he asked, "it's like a promise you make to Y/N", he whispered back.

"Y/N", he began said confidently, "I promise to always love you, to show you all the beautiful things in life and to never leave you. Oh, and also to always share my food with you", he smiled.

"Charles", you followed, "I want you to know that you're the boy I love mostest in the world, and I'll always be by your side no matter what", you smiled, holding your hands in his.

"You can now kiss the bride!", Lorenzo announced as a shy six year old Charles kissed your cheeky sweetly before you hugged him, both of you smiling to the camera, "we're married!", Charles yelled, "Oh, we need to tell Pierre!", you chirped in.

"Oh my goodness!", Charles laughed while you wiped tears of laughter from your eyes, joining your guests as they commented how sweet it all was.

"I love how, as soon as we got married, you just wanted to tell Pierre", Francisca pointed out, napkin in her hand as she carefully wiped around your eyes, not wanting to ruin her makeup, "he was Charles' best friend and he wasn't there, I think I was being very considerate of him, actually", you stated, "and I was still a little bit jealous that Charles had another best friend at this age, probably just wanted to flash him that I loved Charles the mostest".

"Well, they were good promises, and I intend to keep those, too", Charles said, holding your hand in his once again, kissing your knuckles.

"We don't have it in recording, but Charles made my late husband, who I know would love to be here and knew this day would happen, get them a chocolate cake so they could have a honeymoon! Don't worry, it was an age appropriate trip to the slides at the park!", Pascale chuckled. Pierre saw an opportunity and he took it, "hopefully your honeymoon this time around also has very exciting slides and other fun things!", he toasted, sipping from his drink as you hid your blushed face in your husband's neck.

i should have said something a long time ago but the things i have been seeing being written and said about my girlfriend are just not acceptable. seeing and hearing her cry almost everyday because people cannot be respectful breaks my heart. everyone knows I am very private with my life and with her, for this exact reason that’s been shown again and again. the night people decided to verbally attack her while we were out was completely disrespectful and i couldn’t believe what i was hearing. you all have no place to make comments, opinions or assumptions.

First Crush-Uncle Steve

A few of you have brought to my attention how mean I've made Abby to poor Steve. 😂

Never did you think you'd go through so much work just to get laid. "Baby? If Mama has to go to a work meeting, do you think you can stay with Mr. Captain for a little while?"

Placing her little hand on her chest, she looks up at you, "I's can stay with Bucky."

Uncomfortably, "Um, Bucky will be at the meeting, too." Lying to your baby again. Ugh. "So, do you think you could stay with Mr. Captain for a little bit? Will you be okay?"

"Mr. Captain comes to my house?"

"He could come here. Would that make you feel better?"

Shrugging her little shoulder with a frown, "I guess he can comes here. I has plenty toys."

You give her a little smile. She was so disappointed with Bucky's place because he didn't have a single toy to play with. "Thank you, baby. I'll see if he can watch you over here."

Your big night out with Bucky arrives and you thought Abby would put up a fuss for not being able to leave with you and Bucky, but she doesn't.

The doorbell rings and Abby runs to the door "I gets it!" Before opening it she yells, "Who is it?"

"Abby, it's Bucky."

"Bucky, who?"

"Bucky Barnes."

"Bucky Barnes, who?" Steve and Bucky look at each other confused.

"Abby, can you get your Mama?"

"Ok!"

After a minute, you open the door with Abby propped on your hip. "Sorry about that. She can't reach the locks." Abby laughs and reaches for Bucky so he can carry her. "Come on in. Thanks so much for watching her tonight, Steve."

"Yea, of course. Not a problem."

"I have all the contact numbers on the fridge. Her pediatrician. My neighbor, Candice, if you need help."

"Doll, it's for a few hours. They'll be fine. Won't you Abby?" Jostling her in his arms, making her laugh.

"I know. I'm just...letting him know where I keep the numbers. And if he needs help, in case of an emergency."

"He's Captain America. He'll figure it out. Abby is completely safe."

"I don't doubt her safety."

Steve just laughs, "Get out of here and enjoy your..."

"Meeting! We're going to a meeting." Steve rolls his eyes as you say your good-byes to Abby. She gave you kisses and waved you off.

Steve and Abby are left standing by the door staring at each other. As a welcome, "This is mines house," Abby tells Steve looking around the living room.

Steve walk over and takes a seat on the couch, "It's a very nice home."

"I knows. My Mama made it like this." She leans her elbows on his lap looking up at him. "My Mama said we gets pizza for dinner. She put dollars on the counter for yous," pointing at the kitchen.

"Great! I love pizza. So...what's the plan Abby? How does Mama let you spend your day?"

"Mama lets me play until dinner. Then after dinner we has dance party time." She jumps up & down.

"Dance party?"

"Mmmhmmm. Then baths, but she already scrubbed me. I had tubs early so you don't had to do it."

"Ok, great."

"And then I get 3," holding up 3 fingers, "storybooks before sleeps." She smiles sweetly up at him.

"Three stories, got it!" Claps his hands together, "Great! We can do this." Abby cackles. "What do you want to do now until dinner?"

"Want to color? Or draw letters?"

"Draw letters? Ok, I guess we can do that."

Abby runs to her bedroom and returns with her bag of papers and crayons. She puts everything out on the coffee table in front of Steve. She places clean paper in front of him. "Dis yours." Once she's sure he's set up, she sits on the floor by him to start her drawing. "We's can draw to N'asha." Steve frowns at the top of her head.

Abby starts her drawing and ,Steve, starts to sketch Abby. Steve's always had a natural gift of drawing. Before the War, he enrolled in Art School and even today, he finds comfort in the arts. He catches the soft texture of Abby's hair & the roundness of her cheeks. Even the little frown of concentration, as she works on drawing for Natasha.

After a while, Abby checks on Steve's progress, "Mr. Captain! Dat's me!!" She takes his picture and stands beside him, mesmerized. She keeps looking between him and his drawing."

"Abby, you don't have to call me Mr. Captain. You can call me Uncle Steve."

She climbs up onto his lap, "You's my Uncle? I don't has an Uncle."

"Well, now you do."

"Uncle is family? My family is Mama and me."

"And now you have a new Uncle." Abby pops her thumb in her mouth, staring at Steve for a while, mulling over what he said. She leans back against his chest staring at his drawing. After a few minutes, she leans to the side so she can look back at him, "Yous do very good work, Uncle Steve." She pats his arm, with a little drool from her thumb. "I so proud of yous." Again repeating words from her Mama. A little spark of warmth blossoms in Steve's chest. "Thank you, Abby."
