Here’s some random aft information about Transformers Prime that no one asked for, that I have obtained.

During the first episode of Transformers Prime, there are 18 on screen transformations.

From these 18 transformations the autobots make up 14 (77.8%)

Arcee with 5, Bumblebee with 3, Bulkhead and Cliffjumper having transformed twice, and Ratchet and Optimus having transformed once.

With the four by the decepticons,

Vehicons transformed three times, and Megatron Transformed once.

Additionally Cliffjumper was the first to transform, not just in the episode, but the entire series, while Megatron was the last Transformation of the episode.

Then, funny enough, in the following episode neither Megatron nor Cliffjumper would transform.

And following the first five episodes, Cliffjumper’s name would not be mentioned until Predatory (episode 12), by Airachnid.

So, what do we do to be helpful when there is just too much bad for us to process, let alone do anything about? This is how I suggest you start.

1. Understand that that is literally the point. The ruling class wants you exhausted. They want you to see so much fucked up shit that you can't look past it anymore to see them.

2. Work on how you respond to discomfort. If someone is trying to teach you and your response to discomfort is to shut down and run away, there is no movement that you can be helpful in. You have to learn how to listen to people about their experiences and believe them. You just can't do that of you feel so uncomfortable at the mention of oppression that you stop listening. Your discomfort can't become more important than the suffering.

3. Pick one thing at a time and learn a lot about it. Learn how to be a collaborator with one marginalized group- I really suggest that you actually start by learning about disability access, but you can pick any marginalized community. Follow ten people who are marginalized in that way. Half of them are going to be just/primarily education, half of them are just people living their life. Follow both types of content because you have to see their happiness too. I know ten is going to feel like a lot, especially when you first start following. But ten is actually the minimum if you want to actually listen to the experiences of those people.

4. Tell others about the simple things you are doing and that they can also do to help. That might be donating to bail funds or voting for/against a bill.

5. Listen to marginalized voices about the things you aren't educated on yet. Believe them about their experiences. Take the action they ask you to. You don't have to understand to listen and care.

It has been a while since the last time I tried this whole “write on the internet for fun” thing was a different time and the time before that it was on a LiveJournal so yes it has been awhile. So why start now? 

Why not?

I know that Tumblr has its own style and uses, I do not know if I care to keep up. Some use it for fandom, others let their kinky side show (of course the last time I heard that p0rn was still allowed here, I did hear it was back so who knows), and as always people posting their nonsense on the internet.

But why am I back? I hear you not really ask nor care.

Well this is my first post and might as well make it about why.

A friend.

Yes just two words, a friend, no they did not demand me join up, hell I did not think I would ever really use this to do anything with. But the best made plans and all that got smashed because they wrote something nice about me. Hell the day before I collapsed and ended up in the hospital so it did brighten my day a little. I will go into that tale at a later time perhaps but for now just know I am still alive.

But why today?

Because I have always liked today as almost a second birthday, which again is a story for another day. Mainly because I was busy today including having a wonderful lesbian adventure at Publix which also is worth another story in the future.

I am setting these plot lines to hopefully give me a reason to write more, I guess we will see.

The last days of the petition against conversion therapy are FASCINATING to watch. I have been following it pretty closely for almost a year now, and the progress was, above all, steady. There was this jump when some algorithm in Finland picked it up, but even that was local.

And now, everyone is panicking.

Which really shows.

These past three or four days, multiple countries have reached the threshold. Even more notably, the number of signatures in total, the ones that we need to get one million of, are growing rapidly. There are only 400'000 signatures missing. Two days ago, it was closer to 600'000.

WRONG! He is a suspect and we should treat him as such. He should be treated as innocent until proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent. He’s a person of interest not the killer. ok not to be that guy but like. labor rights and working class rights can coexist with 24h services and late amenities. its certainly hard to do so without worker exploitation in this political and social environment, it’s not a conflict likely to resolve overnight. but 24h services are important and especially valuable to those of us that are disabled or are on a different circadian rhythm. in fact more professional, health, and government services should be available or at least possible to work on asynchronously (if applicable) during late or odd hours, while workers also get sufficient pay for their labor and proper consistent scheduling. this would be much easier on the workers with night schedules if the entire professional world didn’t grind to a halt at 5pmEST
