Have you noticed how The Light Behind Your Eyes and Heaven, Iowa both start out quiet and then build as they go?? Especially the choruses, they build up to be so loud in a very similar way to me lol. kingohger ep 36 preview ramble / thoughts

So I think quite a few people have noticed that Himeno in the preview has done a certain action very similar to kamejim (seen below)

which is scary because the last person who Kamejim impersonated was dead for YEARS. Ofc they can’t kill off Himeno cuz she’s a main character but I’m really scared what could or has happened to her since we don’t really know the specifics of how Kamejim disguised himself as someone else. But clearly there’s some shit going on if Himeno somehow just got her kingdom back within a day

but what could’ve happened to her is… about anything except death. And we all know how Takano Minato really likes to make light hearted episodes dark so for all we know the rest could find Himeno beat up pretty badly or something. But yeah I’m expecting some sort of big twist somewhere in the episode regarding Kamejim and Himeno

paladins is nyext patch making changes to seris that im rlly excited fur but a little sad about seris currently has 1 talent thats probably one of the best in the game: Soul Catcher, that gives you 24% maximum health and damage after using her q to detonate 12 stacks, and you get percentage based healing off of those stacks too :3 agony and mortal reach are both kinda trash compared to that, even though both have uniqueish effects

But in the nyext patch, mortal reach is being replaced with Forsake, which fixes her biggest issue by making her 1.5s channel heal .5s (though higher cooldown), which is fucking massive in a game where antiheal exists and also lets her spam shots more, and agony is being replaced with a fcuking 20% damage vulnerability applied to people after you stun with four stack det fsdjknfjkds im sad abt this though,,, bcuz forsake is very clearly better fur healing than the other two meaning when im in 1x support scenarios i probably have to run it instead of 24% higher health and damage fur hiting 12 shots ;w;

kinda crazy how the kind of pokemon content I like (and can actually tolerate interacting with without the Autism Alarms setting off) is such a niche part of the fandom its almost like Im Not a fan of the highest grossing media franchise in the world. how am I, as a POKEMON FAN, in the GODDAMN TRENCHES?????

i think i'm getting a little 🤏 better at composition. just a little bit. sometimes. maybe.

it's my greatest weakness so i'm glad to be improving somewhat in that area. i really do have a terrible time considering the placement and position of things within the whole piece. but yayy improvement!

rule of thirds is great and helps me think of negative space better, but is super hard to follow. managed to kind of follow it this time.

i really only understand comp well in terms of eye movement for some reason? like what i drew has two parallel diagonals and it works well. and i really like circular movement if i can manage it, but that's not always easy.

i may have to try different things with my process to see if i can help with this. i "see" best in color, so maybe blocking out shapes and color without lines in thumbnails/rough layouts would help? hmm...

Absolutely buzzing with fic ideas right now and last night I started on a new one because I felt like i had to at least get the premise down before I lost it, but now I'm nearly 6k words in and oh no I don't have time to get another longfic wip going.... I'm 140k words deep into two other longfics right now 😭 I want to get into it, but I have too many stories fighting for attention in my head and this won't end well if I hop between them all bc I want to finish something for once. Ahhhh!!! Darn you limited time.
