Are those lines familiar to any of you? Well they should be. Because today marks a full year that I shared my first RainCode Fanfiction Home Is Where The Heart Is to the world on AO3 for the first time. Its the anniversary of my first Raincode fic!✨

Rambling below

This fanfiction was my first real first step into getting noticed by the RainCode community. I usually made sickfics for any of my fixations and when I wrote it the community was still fresh and new. I was really nervous to share it due to me still being pretty shy about my guilty passion at first...💦

But this fanfiction, was what really got me recognized in the community. Sure my sprite edits were something as well, but this story is one of the most read in the community along with many others. This fic showed what I was truly capable of in my skills as a writer and as a illness/sickfic enthusiast. 🌡️

In a way this fic got me a little more confident in trying to focus more on my gp and honestly its made me so happy. Happier than I’ve been in a LONG time. It’s thanks to people’s love for this story that I was able to get this far and get to know the community. And to be known for my gp and not be judged, but instead admired by others?? It really is such a dream come true for me… 🥹 Drawing for it and for this series is truly my calling as a fan artist.

Happy Anniversary HIWTHI. One full year since I truly began to spread my wings as a Raincode and illness whump creator. I decided to try my hand at making an anniversary art for it. Tbh back when I wrote the story, I had little to no confidence in my art skills at all. But now that I’ve gotten better, I drew something for it. I do worry the pose is rather boring because it’s the same as 2 other images that were made for me… xD But come on, you know its the cutest scene in the story 🥰 (and ugh yakou was a pain to draw AS USUAL ><)

Yuma’s home is truly with the NDA. The illustration shows him still sick but happy. Laying his head in the lap of his trusted chief covered in his dirty but cozy bed’s duvet, and surrounded by all the stuff his friends got for him to help him to recover~💊

Re-read some of muletia's posts about their merformers AU and, since it's officially mermay, I took a crack at drawing mer megatron!

I think next to Ratchet...TFP Megatron might be my favourite. His design is so cool, his voice actor is awesome, and every time he's on screen I just can't stop thinking about how cool of a character he is! His interactions with Starscream are also hilarious, cuz half the time Starscream is being so pathetic and Megatron looks so done with his bs

Anyways enjoy a big mer and his baked bean guppy and a small design I did trying to figure out markings/proportions, I love the trope of big scary creature with their teenie tiny offspring

May I ask about the game's ending(s)? I heard there's multiple but I don't know if that's true so I wanted to come here and ask:D Don't have to tell me how to get them just curious abt the number C:

To be clear, The Dark Queen of Mortholme doesn't quite have multiple endings in a "branching paths" sense. Apart from differences in dialogue (and, in one case, animation) depending on what the player says and how they play, the story still always leads to the same place.

That said, there are two additional game-ending scenarios to account for uncontrollable player behaviour that would cause a deviation from that story. They contain a bunch of extra dialogue (for one of them that dialogue even changes depending on how well acquainted you are with the Hero) as a treat for getting there, but even that was written with the aim of bolstering the themes of the main narrative rather than to provide an alternative.

Details: the ref images I sent were to help show what Kim Pine and Ramona Flowers wear while underwater and the in game design of the Bull Shark Pup.

Kim Pine be casually holding her breath underwater cause she can and secretly skilled at it. While wearing a green teal style long sleeved zip swimsuit and red diving mask on her face with a snorkel mouthpiece attached to it. and wearing pair of black red diving flippers.

Ramona Flowers would also secretly dye her hair in the Bull Shark Pup’s unique red blue colour pattern after finding out about its existence and it surviving in a public swimming pool due to Kim Pine discovering it first normally.

While Ramona be wearing a black blue short sleeved zip wetsuit diving flippers and diving mask on her face with a scuba tank on her back

while Ramona breaths from the scuba regulator oxygen mouthpiece in her mouth while holding gently onto a underwater waterproof camera.

Yeah, bit too much detail/elaboration for me to really do- especially given I haven't played or seen much gameplay for Maneater just yet- BUT! I did do some sketches based on/around what you've given me here!
