Hey, I hope I'm not being rude or offensive but I have been a big fan of your art and I just realized something, Wouldn't Aurora and shadows relationship basically be grooming, since he knew her since she was a little baby and when she got older they got together?

No, that’s not how it happened.

She traveled back in time to save him and that’s how they first met. She couldn’t say who she was or where she was from in fear of altering the future so she had to go under a secret name. In the end she has to return to “where she’s from” and he vows to find her again.

He and Rouge go on a long space adventure to try and find out where she is. Eventually Rouge leaves him to find her on his own because she gets homesick. Shadow is immortal so my headcanon is that time doesn’t pass the same way for him as it does for other people, so he drastically loses track of time while out on this solo adventure and doesn’t realize how much time has gone by (decades).

Rouge eventually convinces him to come back and that’s where he and Aurora meet (again).

This story is super old so some of the details have/will change as I flesh out the comic more but that’s the gist. I understand some of my AU is hard to follow since it’s out of order and I haven’t illustrated it all out in comic form yet.

lanolin headcanons bc im in a sheep mood rn

summer heat is unbearable for her because of her wooly pigtails (trust me long or thick hair makes your body heat SKYROCKET), so she sheathes her wool towards the end of may. it gives her a puffy pixie cut, which is cute but not too heavy or hot.

as she gets older, her horns will grow longer and start to twist backwards until they curl back to her chin and frame her face. this will make physical combat against her much or difficult and painful, but her smaller horns are already sharp.

follow up to the last one, but lanolin's fighting style (other than using her bell wispon and maggie) is a mix of a few farm animals. head butting because she's a sheep with sharp horns, as well as powerful kicks like donkeys and quick dashes like horses.

bleats when startled. though making animal sounds when scared is a headcanon i have for virtually all mobians, i think about lanolin doing it more than any other character because the most authoritative and calm character just going BAAAA is hilarious to me

I haven’t played either of those games, so I don’t have a huge amount to say tbh. I know Shadow has an arc in Battle about having a soul based off of Maria’s, but that’s it. As for Amy, I’ve heard she’s pretty fixated on treating Emerl as if he’s her and Sonic’s child...? Which is...odd. I love the idea of Amy eventually being a mom, as I feel she’d be well suited to it, but the series has always been great about showing her nurturing and motherly traits in a more subtle way.

There’s no reason for the writers to make her say “BY THE WAY THIS IS LITERALLY MY ROBOT CHILD WITH SONIC” when we have all of this. She can be an actual mom when she’s older, and we already know she’ll be damn good at it.

Battle did have this line here, though. To me, that’s worth far more than any hamfisted, literal mom talk.

Sonic Battle also basically confirms my theory about her bracelets being training weights. I’ve gone into that in detail here, and I later wrote a headcanon about the concept.

As for Chronicles, all I know about Shadow is this interaction where Amy calls him a coward:

Wouldn’t be too surprising, considering how much he values what she has to say. He could just as easily like *how* she says it. That’s how it works for me, at least. I like to imagine Shadow and Omega parroting “COWARD” back and forth all day until it gives Rouge a headache.

There are a couple interesting bits about Amy’s feelings toward G.U.N. The Commander rudely interrupts her to remind the audience that he’s a jerk:

Interesting line from Rouge here, especially because she and Amy didn’t get along too well in this era.

I took Amy’s dislike for G.U.N. into account when I wrote “Bringing a Hammer to a G.U.N. Fight.” As much as I love adding Amy in with Team Dark, I can’t see her going in that direction until there’s a different commander at the helm.

I have a list of canon sources I’m familiar with in my FAQ. I do put bits and pieces from games I haven’t played into headcanons here and there, but I won’t know much in-depth if it’s not on that list. Sonic canon is dauntingly large, even when you’re laser-focused on two hedgehogs in particular.

Could we get some headcanons for Ann and Kuzan's kid? I always thought they'd have a girl maybe after the story still I'd love to know this new child oc of yours! I could see Ann and Kuzan's kid being like Ace and getting into fights as a kid or being a troublemaker of some sort! I could see him look up to Roger as well!

I think when Just had originally brought up what their kids would look like we had talked about them having a few kids (3-4 maybe), I don’t really have any headcannons in particular but I think most of them are very laid back (Ann has that effect on children methinks).

Idk what happened when I designed ann, like genuinely I just started drawing, blacked out, and came back to the initial drawing of Ann like “she’s perfect”. I think it definitely helped that I had a more concrete vision for her bec it was like: looks like rouge, older sister, marine, neapolitan color scheme, basically raised by Garp. And I just kinda ran with it and made my own headcannons along the way, it’s a little unusual for me but I’ve had a harder time acknowledging Ann’s softness than I do with other characters, mostly because when designing her it was a “ baddest bitch around” mentality, same for Hayami.

KuzAnn kid we talked about a lot less, we talked about it forever ago and the only thing I really remember is basically like law but more laid back and looks like Kuzan and Ann. My Uncle Law joke comes closer and closer to being true every day ( yeah he’d be more like their cousin but you can’t tell me that any of Ann’s kids wouldn’t consider him like the weird uncle that’s into like emo stuff)

Idk, honestly I can’t see them doing the same stuff Ann and Ace did ( can’t remember if I talked about it here before but I HC that Ann got into fights a lot back on Barterilla for a multitude of reasons). Idk about Roger honestly, I feel like he’s def still a sore subject for Ann especially with everything that was Ace as well at literally seeing your dad get executed. But at the same time I think it would make her happy that her kid(s) look up to/enjoy stories of her father so much.

Character ask: Violetta (La Traviata)

Favorite thing about them: Her selfless nobility of spirit, her unconditional love, and her character arc as she initially seems like a sparkling, cynical party girl, but then reveals her inner vulnerability and her true capacity for feeling and for goodness. On a meta level, there's also the fact that she's a fully humanized, sympathetic sex worker heroine, whose story shames bourgeois morality for its prejudice against the likes of her.

Least favorite thing about them: That she has to suffer so much.

In crossover-land, I might like her to befriend some other "fallen woman" characters who have things in common with her, like Mimí in La Bohéme, both Fantine and Éponine in Les Misérables, or Satine in Moulin Rouge! (although meeting her would be more-or-less like looking in a mirror).

OTP: For what makes her happy, I'll say Alfredo. But it's hard to fully ship her with him after the money scene, much like in Much Ado About Nothing it's hard to ship Hero and Claudio after the wedding scene. Above all, I ship her with health, self-esteem, and happiness.

Random Headcanon: Her backstory is the same as that of her real-life inspiration, Marie Duplessis. She was born to a poor family in Normandy; her mother either died or left when she was a child, and her father was an abusive alcoholic who sold her to "benefactors" as soon as she hit puberty. She travelled to Paris at age fifteen and worked as a seamstress at first, but then her beauty was "discovered" by wealthy men, and at age sixteen she became a courtesan. All of this shaped her into the person we meet in Act I, who doesn't dare to love and thinks a life of shallow pleasures is all that's left for her.

Unpopular Opinion: I don't see her as much older than Alfredo, or as nearing the end of her glory days as a courtesan due to age rather than just her illness. The libretto repeatedly describes her as "young," and Marie Duplessis was only twenty-three when she died and was the same age as Alexandre Dumas fils. Part of the real tragedy of her life was that she became a "fallen woman" before she was really a woman at all – why shouldn't the same be true for Violetta? Of course the role should ideally be sung by a soprano at least thirty, since few younger singers can meet the vocal demands, but the same is true for teenage heroines like Gilda in Rigoletto or Madame Butterfly! It says nothing about the character's age.

For the ask game, Cream the rabbit? (^-^)

One aspect of Cream that I enjoy is how unique she is as a playable character. I just finished watching the Advance 2 cutscenes for this as I realize I didn't know enough about her to talk about her, and one thing that always stood out to me was how different she was from the main cast.

She chooses to fight against capital E Eggman in order to save her mother (a parent - something most characters don't have, especially one thats alive and actually a good parental figure). She's polite and well mannered, a stark contrast to most characters' rude attitude. Furthermore, she never fights head-on, Cheese is the one fighting for her. That's very different!

As a little baby man, Cream was my go-to character when playing Ultimate Flash Sonic. She was cute and she wasn't all pink and girly like Amy and she was easier to play with while not being boring ol Tails (and Shadow had to be unlocked to play. Otherwise baby me knew what's up).

It's interesting how much she stands out amongst the rest of the cast. She has her own little niche to her, which I appreciate.

One thing i wish more people understood about her.... Hm. Maybe it's because i don't know her as well as some of the other cast, but Cream isn't really a character that's easily misinterpreted. If I had to pick one thing, I'd say her bravery.

Whether it's for her mother or Chocola, Cream has always been willing to step into harms way to get them back. She's quite the ass-kicker, too - while Cheese does most of the work it's Cream herself who gives the orders.

She can seem like she's your standard "little girl" character, but like with most Sonic characters once you take the time to look at them you notice their character is much more complex than at first glance.

As for a headcanon..... I headcanon that like she does for most chao, she gets along well with Chaos :)

Whenever she's allowed up on Angel Island, she plays hide-and-seek and makes flower crowns for them, as well as with all the other little chao. Knuckles appreciates it, though he'd never admit it.

One relationship that I really appreciate is Cream and Sonic. Cream tends to bring out Sonic's kinder side, as he'll go out of his way to do things for her in his own Sonic-ey way. God help you if you make Cream cry, as Sonic will zip into action to make things right. In Sonic Advance 2, when Vanilla is kidnapped during final story and Cream starts to cry, the very next action Sonic takes is to use the 7 chaos emeralds and become Super Sonic to chase after Eggman and rescue Vanilla once and for all.

It's very cute how Sonic acts like an older brother to her.

I also really like Cream's relationship with Vanilla and Amy.

One relationship I wish I could see is Cream and Knuckles. Knuckles is stubbornly kind when it comes to other people, but his inexperience and hot headedness leads him prone to misinterpretation and awkwardness.

I think it'd be cute to see Knuckles awkwardly trying to babysit Cream. Bonus points if he's a terrible babysitter, and Sonic gets to tease him when he accidentally makes Cream cry with his poor skills. Even still, he won't hesitate to smash anything that tries to hurt or tease her, including especially Sonic.

As for a headcanon with one other person, I think Amy often brings Cream along for "girl talks." Cream tends to just go along with whatever Amy's doing, and so I could totally see Amy, needing another girl to talk to about love who isn't Rouge or Blaze (Blaze lives in the Sol Dimension, and Rouge just gets on Amy's nerves), would drag Cream over to her house and then vent/gush about her love for Sonic. Cream doesn't really get it but she's too polite to refuse.

Gender Headcanon: OH NONBINARY 1000000% Perhaps even agender Idk he is also figuring it out because he's from 50 years ago and just woke up and learned about all this like months ago. But this hedgehog has never given a fuck about being part of any gender binary and he doesnt have it all figured out but he knows that not being a boy or a girl has felt more him than anything before and he's awesome basically

A ship I have with said character: well I've mentioned in the sonic post that I do like s/nkn/xadow and thinks that when actually written true to their characters they have a lot of interesting dynamics that could say a lot about each other. but nobody is normal about them and actually writes them as Them so instead everytime i see the respective ships i get annoyed. but also its not that big of a deal. anyways kn/xadow in particular has so much potential like god when you are the last of your kind and have no surviving family and you have been easily manipulated by bad people into being tools for them and you'd think that'd be a unique experience nobody could relate to but actually he gets it. He understands what its like having a past you still dont know all about and desperately wanting to know what your here for, what you exist for-- and youre both slowly figuring it out. together. anyways

A BROTP I have with said character: I already talked about it but godddd shadow and rouge and just team dark as a whole. when he woke up he pretty much had nothing and nobody left for himself even the whole planet has moved on from him but then he makes his first like close relationships again with team dark and they mean. so so much to him. Like they Know but also they dont know just how important to him they are, to have people once again he can trust wholeheartedly to be there for him when he falls and he will be there for them too. OH I FORGOT TO MENTION HIM AND TAILS TOO. he's like the awkward cool and quiet older brother that just kinda slowly happened because tails needed some of his assistance on an experiment and then the moment shadow showed that he was following a lot of the tech talk and even giving his own thoughts back well it was over. theyre nerds and talk about nerd things now every time shadow visits and hold a lot of respect and admiration for the other. they think the other is so cool, basically.

A NOTP I have with said character: Well sh/douge obviously but also sh/dria like FUCKING S TOP THATS HIS FUCKING SISTER. Also even if she wasn't like making that relationship out to be romantic just cheapens the whole thing so much and just feels like bad writing and one of those things where people cannot see that a "boy" can girl deeply about a girl without it being a romantic thing. theyre siblings and best friends shut the fuck up!!!!!

well I think his favorite pastimes are working on his silly motorcycle, taking care of his like 10 chao, reading and listening to music.... he doesnt relax much but he likes to read about flora and fauna a lot i think... As well as different modern science books I think living on the ark has made him a science nerd and he wants to catch up on what he's missed in those 50 years.... I also talked about this in call but I think everyone should know that Shadow very much has a sweet tooth I think. There really wasn't many Sweet food in the ark so its all a very new experience for him and he likes stuff like cheesecake and ice cream so much. I also think at the same time he is a pickier eater than most mobians especially when it comes to more unconventional foods like insects. He may be a hedgehog but he grew up on human food and human food standards he sees rouge putting like mealworms in her salad or something and he looks at her like she's insane. sonic offers him crickets and he makes the excalibur face. Also lets throw in another headcanon for funsies but I think shadow kind of has an interesting detachment, almost, to his past self. he remembers most of his past now, and very much still holds the same attachments and love for gerald and maria and to his home, but what I mean is like. His personality, perspective, outlook... they were Different back then, and between the repeated memory loss and all of the trauma he almost feels himself to be a separate person from the shadow of 50 years ago. for any aitsf mutuals think like date but on a less extreme level. Anyways this stuff doesn't come up too much cause there really isn't anyone left who knew him 50 years ago, but lets say something like in the comics happened where he got to see maria again for a temporary time. She would talk to him and want to spend time with him the same way she did 50 years ago but I think he'd realize the Shadow she's seeing is not the Shadow he is. Or at least, not what he thinks he is. does that make sense.

General opinion on said character: he is the coolest character in the world hes so awesome and silly and i care so much about him shadow has always been my favorite character even when i was little so ysee i think about him lots.

Roger hadn't this mysterious illness and he heard from the terrible things that happend on Baterilla. When he gets there, Rouge is already dead and he takes Ace with him. Ace grows up on the Oro Jackson with Shanks and Buggy as his older brothers and Rayleigh as the wine uncle. And Roger being a good, loving and a little bit overprotective father. <3

Roger didn't come in time to be with Rouge at her last moment. That's what he regrets the most in his entire life. Need to say that Roger had never ever done one thing which he would regret later. But with Rouge...

Therefore, he swore to himself that he would pour all his heart, his love, and his soul into raising up the son Rouge had left for him. The child is Rouge's incarnation. He is the crystallization of their love. Roger won't let his wife down. He will raise his son to be healthy, happy, and full of pride.

"Your name is Portgas D. Ace, my son! You will take your mother's last name, as a way of expressing gratitude for the great sacrifice and the love she gave you."

With that, he brought Ace back to the Oro Jackson. His son's presence is still in the dark; he can't let the marine know about him just yet.

The Roger crew is more than happy to have their captain's child with them. Especially Rayleigh.

"Oh, look at this little cookie!!! Who's the cutest baby ever? Who's that? Huh? It's youuuuuuu, Ace! You!" Rayleigh often put his face close to baby Ace, cooing and smiling expressively.

And Ace always cackles when Rayleigh's beard touches his skin. His eyes shining and his mouth opens wide, looking so adorable that the whole crew falls in love with him over and over.

"Quit hugging him, you old boozer!" Roger gets jealous easily because somehow Ace seems to like Rayleigh more than him. Ace never lets Roger hold him for too long.

The pirate king tries to take Ace from Rayleigh's hand, but the baby starts weeping and refuses to let go off of his wine uncle. Being rejected by his own son, Roger sulks by his own in the corner of the ship🥺The whole crew then makes fun of him.

Even Shanks and Buggy, who always tease and pinch Ace, are receiving more attention from his son than Roger the pirate king himself!!!

Oh, captain, parenting is hard, yk! 💔

As time goes by, Ace grows up to be a cheerful, energetic child, a little bit mischievous. He enjoys life on the pirate ship and he is eager to learn anything that seems interesting. Rayleigh teaches him how to fight with a sword, Scooper Gaban teaches him how to navigate, and Shanks and Buggy teaches him how to play tricks on others.

Ace knows that his dad is the most notorious pirate in the whole world. He wants to be a great pirate just like Roger in the future, but Ace only admires his father in silence. He never shows it out, because in real life they don't get along very well.

Roger is a little bit overprotective over Ace, while Ace is a rebellious little brat. He wants to do things his own way and always be too reckless during battles, making Roger worry too much. They all end up fighting with each other afterward.

Rayleigh is so used to this scene now he finds that it's amusing to watch those two quarreling. "Both clumsy and hot-headed. Like father like son, huh?"

He will bet with Shanks to see who will win, while Buggy, not helping anything but enjoys adding insult to injury.

But sometimes there's a peaceful moment between those two. It's time when Roger told Ace about his adventures, his fights, the places he discovered, the people he had met. The stories enthrall Ace so much; the freckled boy listens attentively with his round eyes wide open.

"One day, I will set sail on my own ship, find my own comrades, seek out new lands, and discover the world with my own eyes!" Ace told Roger one day, after listening to the story about Skypie.

"Why, don't you want to be the pirate king like me?" Roger strongly believes that his son has the potential to lead the new era that soon comes in the future.

Ace thinks about it. Then he says, "I aim to be a top pirate, yes, but..." He says his reason and Rogers laughs. The old father feels proud from the bottom of his heart. His son has really grown up to be a healthy, happy, and full of pride young man.

He pats Ace's head and this time, Ace doesn't shoo him away. Roger said, warmly:

"Live the way you want, son! It's your life, your freedom. No matter which path you choose, I'm your father and I'll always be proud of you. Live a life without regret, Ace."

And those words of Roger remain forever in Ace's heart. Live a life of no regrets...

I also have the idea for a whole story, a whole new story with a different plot from the headcanon T-T T-T T-T but somehow I just can't write it down, there's something blocking between my thoughts and the right words I want to write... One day you decided to have a girls night with Blaze, Rouge, Amy and Wave and they all thought it was a good idea and honestly you deserve it. After the battle you had with Eggman last week your clothes got damaged pretty badly, so it was time for a relaxing shopping trip with the gang. So there you are, enjoying yourself feeling like you're in an early 2000s movie, your feat moves to the beat of the song that plays on the speakers feeling good, at some point Amy joined in. You split into groups of 2-3 to waste less time and energy, the groups consist of you, Wave and Rouge whose main target are clothes while Amy and Blaze were looking for new shoes. Checking out the new clothes, and gawking at the jewelry behind the display case. You all found what you were looking for although it took Rouge a while to decide what dress she wanted so she asked you guys to be the judges. And let me tell you, if looks could kill you would all be dead. After that you all went to your chosen cafe to hang out at. The smell of coffee and desserts of all kinds filled your nose as you entered, the soft golden glow the lamps illuminating the small establishment giving off a feeling of home. As you sat down on your usual spot that's located to the nearest corner an explosion was heard echoing through the mall's walls, after a few seconds the sudden quiet was filled with screams of terror and konfusion. Quickly the five of you rise to action, and just when you were starting to relax this happens, if Eggman is behind this he will pay.

Tails with a reader that's like an older sister to him, and also they are a witch and an invenert that combined magic and machinery to create new convenient tools to help with everyday problems. Like Eggman. You're a very bright person and I mean that literally, you wear steampunk themed goggles with spikes and kaleidoscopes for lenses. You're a very supportive creator and will hype up Tails to try and make him feel more confident. You and Sonic are his personal cheerleader team and anyone that even tries to talk down to him for whatever reason will have you to deal with. I can imagine their name being Paul, that's a play on the gem name Opel.

Making all of these headcanons has been fun but I'm starting to get tired of writing so much in one day so I've decided to write something more personal, like OCs and stuff and I'd love to hear your thoughts on them. And I'd love to hear about your OCs too if you have any.

First one is still in progress but I have a general idea of how they work. Their name is Rojo Buster, a light brown lionhead rabbit with a lot of chill, sporting a green jacket with handmade patches decorating it and a black tank top underneath. No rock or boulder is strong enough to withstand the strength of their kicks, the earth shakes and pebbles tremble when Rojo bunny hops. Although their legs might be strong their heart is not, having had heart problems in the past their heart has been replaced with an ventricular to pump the blood through their body.

Also another one in progres, Shooting star is a young god like entity that only knows two things, burning planets and light bending holes. She has the appearance of no ordinary creature but her habit of mimicking has led to her looking like a mix between a lion, lizard and a hedgehog (im still debating if these are the animals im making her look like). Her quails are shaped like a fluffy yet pointed stare while her pupils are raptillion like with a shade of green onion and amber. Her lion's tail is as lively as a dog, swaying with excitement making her otherworldly golden body glow slightly brighter. Although She doesn't mean to she creates destruction wherever she goes, Rouge playfully calls her Chaos star from all her troubles. Stars got the attention span and mentality of a twelve year old. What did you expekt, also her favorite food is cheez wishing starz, or anything cheese related.

Knuckles w/ y/n being a history fanatic

I can imagine Knuckles would want y/n to help him learn more of his people but seeing his story in Sonic Adventure, he's definitely hesitant. He enjoys you telling him history facts, especially those with ancient languages & he is 110% teaching you how to read glyphs.

Shopping with Amy, Blaze, Rouge & Wave

Shopping with this girls is an adventure of it's own. Everyone need to keep Rouge in-check so she doesn't steal from any jewelry store. Ya'll would probably have her on a leash.

I see your Rouge takes the dresses & I raise you, Rouge stealing every jewel that glimmers in the light.

While Wave wants to help pick your outfits, but she's honestly just there for the food courts & gadget stores. She's scanning for the closest food court & asks if anyone wants something as she's one her way to eat. If y/n & Wave were to enter any gadget store, Wave would express that her technology is far more advanced than anything in the store, stating that if you ever have any technical issues you can just call her up.

Then everyone going to a cafe of your choosing & just as they're about to relax, shrieks echo through the open halls as people running for their lives run past you guys. Amy, Blaze & y/n sigh, Rouge hums in amusement while Wave groans.

Yandere Tails where y/n is like an older sibling to him

Honestly, y/n wearing steampunk brings me such joy. & Tails is just in awe at how cool you are like Sonic. Ya'll are each other's cheerleaders & anyone else who talks trash of the other gets a boot/shoe to the face.

Your ocs Rojo Buster & Shooting Star are quite enthralling. Rojo Buster being a strong lionhead rabbit with such power that a single thump can crush boulders bigger than buildings & hops that provoke earthquakes, yet their heart can't keep up.

As for Shooting Star, a god entity that seemingly only brings chaos, intentional or not, which I can imagine has some level of a identity crisis (due to being some hybrid of a lion, hedgehog & lizard) with a love for any & all kinds of cheese. & I'm ngl, when I read god entity, my mind went immediately to your scenario/dream of Shadow taking a god's golden heart to revive y/n.

It's perfectly fine to be tired! I don't expect you to write new headcanons everyday so please rest dear.

Wow some Sonic Redesignsssssssss

But wait there’s some headcanons that I might add more to later!

Shadow: HE IS NOT AN EDGY BOY THAT SEGA MAKES HIM TO BE. He got his growth in Sonic Adventure 2(SA2) and not from Shadow the Hedgehog. (I can go on a rant on how that game doesn’t work with Shadow’s character but not now) Anyway he cares about Amy since she was kinda the reason he turned good in the end of SA2 so now they’re besties and so is him and Cream. He doesn’t understand why Cream thinks hes cool but at least she’s nice so.

He’ll never really say it out loud but he really cares for Rouge and Omega because they were there for him AND THEIR FRIENDSHIP IS ADORABLE. Also he’s very much smitten for a blue hedgehog. He doesn’t think he has a chance with Sonic at all but Rouge tells him otherwise but he ignores her.

Sonic: He is best big brother and all the little kids love him because he is the nicest boi. Him and Amy are best friends in cannon so they are in this too. Him and Amy helped raising Tails so him and Amy are siblings and they share one brain cell. Also Knuckles is his brother too because they are close change my mind. He likes Shadow but he doesn’t know if Shadow is ready for a relationship because after everything he’s been through so he’s happy just being there for him. Sonic is also a trans boy :)

Amy: Again Sega the way you treat my girl Amy is a crime because she is just as great as Sonic. Amy looks up to Sonic because he’s a great guy. She besties with Silver and Shadow because she was part of the reason they changed when they were introduced. If Sonic is a big brother than Amy is the big sister because she loves Tails and Cream and will fight for her siblings. She does her tarot cards like in the old games and bakes in her free time and let’s her buds taste them. She thinks Blaze is such a pretty girl but as a friend (she’s lying) and teaches her how to bake but the pretty cat sucks (thank god she’s pretty.) She like Sonic is trans but she’s a trans girl

Knuckles: First of all, hes not dumb like Sega makes him be (which is dumb cuz he wasn’t like that in the beginning he was just gullible) and he’s calm with a bad temper which is mostly caused by Rouge and oblivious to her crush on him. Him and Tikal are siblings and no you cant change my mind either.

Rouge: Like Shadow she has a soft spot for children and Cream is her fav. She has a big fat crush on Knuckles which she tries not to think about but Shadow and Omega keep bringing it up. She’s still selfish but she does care for the others just not as much as she does for Shadow, Omega, Cream, and Knuckles. The gold arm band she has on her arm is something she stole from Knuckles because she wanted to piss him off but hasn’t gave it back which Shadow brings up whenever she annoys him.

Tails: Ultimate little brother and still a huge smart boi. Him and Cream kinda fight for their spot as the little sibling of the group and hate how similar they are. For example, have a older sibling they look up to, (Amy is Cream’s and Sonic is Tail’s) Cream has Chesse and I made omochao be made by Tails because why not. So they both have Chaos and they say the other copied the other. Charmy just goes on his phone while Cream and Tails argue about the other.

Tails and Ray are best friends and Tails thinks Ray is just the nicest guy but doesn’t understand this strange feeling he gets when he’s around.(T-T) He copys Sonic alot like picking red for his outfits like Sonic’s shorts and shoes because he thinks he super cool.

Jewel and Rouge being mom friend's headcanons?

Because Jewel is a disaster pan, Rouge intimidates her a bit (well, a lot), so I imagine it takes a bit for a friendship to really get going between these two. 😂

Rouge appreciates her company though, as it is a massive breath of fresh air for Rouge to get to spend time with another "older" (we'll get back to that) woman who:

Has multiple jobs AND is pretty career driven (Rouge works for GUN, runs Club Rouge, and may or may not do jewel thieving on the side ;), and Jewel runs the Mineral Museum AND the Restoration)

Is the voice of reason of their regular circles (Rouge is the one thing keeping Team Dark from going completely off the rails, plus also sometimes has to wrangle Knuckles. Jewel has to deal with Tangle, and by this point in my Canon Bark and Bean live with her. Although in all fairness Bark is usually on the same page as her, it's pretty much just Bean being the crazy one.)

They get together for drinks usually, but sometimes Rouge can talk Jewel into taking a day off and joining her for a spa day, and they just commiserate together about the bullshit they have to deal with at the hands of their friends.

Rouge was absolutely stunned to learn Jewel's two years younger than her. (Rouge is 18 in the games/comics, Jewel is 16. In my Canon they're older now, but I haven't determined how much older LOL) She had assumed based on how Jewel acts and dresses she was the same age as her, or maybe even a year older. (I have a whole "projecting onto Jewel again" headcanon involving the ages people perceive her to be, but I'll put it on another post 😂)

So Rouge doesn't quite treat Jewel like a little sister, even after learning Jewel's two years younger, but she does like to try to teach Jewel some fashion/beauty tips and try to subject the beetle to makeovers. Emphasis on try. Rouge will, and has, try any fashion style at least once (so she's not doing this because she hates Jewel's fashion, she LOVES Jewel's historically influenced office girlboss look. She just wants to see the beetle mix it up every now and then), but Jewel's a little harder to talk into stepping out of her comfort zone. Especially when you're trying to convince her to don a more provocative look. But, Rouge is persistent. She really wants to give Jewel a "Sandy at the end of Grease" esque makeover sometime, and she WILL succeed dammit! (Especially since she can tell Jewel does want to try out a look more like hers, but just lacks the confidence to really commit to it.)

In my Canon, the idea of double dating has been tossed around, but both girls are worried Knuckles will just try to challenge Bark to a sparring match the whole time (not out of aggression, just "hey we don't get to see each other very often, let's punch each other for old time's sake" energy), so they've never actually done it.

I have arrived at the Yashahime is Over Party! I never, ever wanted a sequel, I was much happier with my own opinions and headcanons as to what happened after the show was over. (As I'm sure many fans were.) InuYasha has always been this great, big sandbox, where you can do whatever you want. Yashahime basically came in and stomped on everybody's fun time, so now I'm just trying to rebuild what I had! This rewrite isn't exactly my thoughts to a T on what I think should have happened at the end, rather, I tried to keep in mind the premise of Yashahime and just... fix it!

I know that my likes and opinions tend to be a bit disjointed from the rest-- for example, I LOVED the filler episodes. To this day, some of my favorite episodes that I go back to rewatch have been filler. I like slow and steady, I like lots and lots of dialogue. But Yashahime? Not like this. Never like this. For my rewrite, this is no longer a fantasy romance action adventure whatever. This is slice of life.

For my rewrite, Moroha becomes the main character. The story follows her as she travels around Japan, basically meeting old friends of her folks, and meeting some new ones along the way. InuKag and MirSan live generally happy, peaceful lives, with the Root Head demon being the last of their major problems for a long while.

I love the idea that with InuYasha and Kagome being a committed couple in an "unusual" relationship with an "unusual" daughter, Kaede's village over time becomes a safe haven for weak demons, half demons, and like-minded humans. It expands into a vast and bustling town, with plenty of colorful characters in addition.

Sango spends a lot of her day training Hisui and Gyokoto. She doesn't go out herself much anymore, and has basically passed the torch to her children and, of course, younger brother. Her time is mostly spent now creating and repairing weapons, though her real passion is in experimenting with fabrics to create stronger, more resistant material. Miroku continues to travel (so long as he stops by to say hello to his wife once and awhile) alongside his daughter Kin'u, who basically apprentices under him. He's so proud of who she's become.

Moroha is at that age where she longs to see the world outside their humble home. She packs her things, says goodbye to her mom and dad, and sets off. I can totally see her keeping the bounty hunter job as it would be a great way for her to make money on her own. And with her being loved and reasonably fed, whenever she loses a head, it can *actually* be funny. She still uses the rouge to become Beniyasha in tough times, but without the red pearl. (No pearls in this, the pearls are stupid.) She made a promise with her momma to only use the rouge in DIRE situations, since it can be dangerous. Of course, she's looked over by grandpa Myoga... and Shippo!

Shippo is much older now, but given that he's a demon (and I do subscribe to the demons age slower HC, despite the shit I give it) he appears to be around, or a little younger than Moroha. They're about equal in power which means they have to work together a lot to get out of sticky situations. They act as brother and sister since Shippo was basically adopted by InuKag, so there's no romance between them. It's purely familial.

Over the course of the series, Moroha meets old characters, both filler and canon, from the OG series. (Some Shippo recognizes, some he doesn't.) They help out with whatever problem-of-the-week is going on, as the episodes are primarily laid back and focused more on character interaction and development. They meet old faces like Jineji, Botan and Momiji, Kanta, Bunza, and even Shiori!

Shiori would have an episode or two, going more in depth on half demons and their human nights.

To keep the "mystery" aspect Sunrise TRIED to do while also putting a long term goal/conflict in the show to prevent it from getting boring, I would include Towa/Setsuna. But here's the kick-- I would combine them into one character.

Zetsumetsuko would sometimes run into our main cast and cause issues, mostly based on what the audience infers is some kind of misunderstanding or jealousy. This character will butt heads with Moroha, similar to how InuYasha and Sesshomaru were, but with her having a bit more sass.

Moroha says they smell familiar, but she can't place her finger on it. Zetsumetsuko tends to say some cryptic stuff, saying she knows some info that Moroha doesn't. This character is basically a wild card, and is to keep the audience on their toes. It is of course, later revealed that this character is the daughter of Sesshomaru. (Not that it's hard to guess, haha.) It happens when the main cast run into Rin. Zetsumetsuko appears to try and cause more trouble, only for Rin to excitedly shout, "Sister!" And begin doting upon her.

With tensions eased, the characters manage to sit and chat calmly. Zetsumetsuko feels like she doesn't belong, and struggles to find a place in the world similar to InuYasha. They barely knew their own father, raised primarily by Rin and Jaken. She doesn't even know her own mother. Zetsumetsuko has been following Moroha out of a sense of jealousy, since they're related but their paths have been so different. She basically reveals how lonely she's been, too. Which leads to her joining the group!

I wanted to introduce Zetsumetsuko as the daughter of Sesshomaru at the same time I introduced Rin as her sister, basically cutting Rin out of the running for potential mother right away.

The mother would be Kagura, who... I don't have a design for, ah! I heard a lot of talk and rumors about Kagura having become a goddess and I think I would apply that idea to my rewrite. It would explain why Kagura wasn't around for Zatsumetsuko growing up. Ah, now I have to make a Goddess!Kagura design, hahaha.

In conclusion, my sequel would be made purely for nostalgia's sake. No retcons, barely even touching the original plot of InuYasha. It would be a way to see the old cast through new characters, who would be charming in their own right without relying on their parents, and would allow us to revisit one-off and filler characters again. The sequel wouldn't be a necessary watch to enjoy InuYasha, it would just be a way for fans to go, "Oh, I remember that character! Good times!"

Okay my headcannon is that amy was neglected by her parents because a freaking 12 YEAR OLD WAS IN WAR AND THEY DIDNT STEPPED IN.

I also have this scenario in my head that Knuckles and Sonic walks in on Amy and Shadow watching a movie (Awfully close 🤔) and gets sus that something is going on.

Hope you don’t mind if I combine these two.

The absence of Mobian adults in the Sonic games is VERY conspicuous. As far as I know, we’ve got Vanilla (old enough to be a six-year-old’s mother), Vector (20), and a handful of older teenagers--Rouge, Wave, and Big (18) and Storm (19). Vanilla’s the only Mobian parent in these games!

The only easy explanation is the out-of-universe one: execs wanted the game’s young demographic to have kids to relate to and teens to look up to. Things get messy when you try to read past that.

But that doesn’t mean I won’t try anyway.

I don’t feel comfortable accusing characters of being neglectful without any real evidence, especially because almost none of these kids have parents. Tails is eight, and he’s been on his own since his inception! Amy isn’t the exception, she’s the rule. Either every Mobian parent save for Vanilla is neglectful...or they’re just not around anymore.

Let’s look at the Sonic universe, shall we? Villains in this series take the forms of killer robots, aliens, demons, and even gods. Some are immortal and capable of boundless destruction, even genocide. We all saw what happened in Silver’s future.

The Sonic universe isn’t a very safe place to live. The most frequent villain is a diabolical genius who creates robot armies. He’s demonstrated that he can and will kill without a shred of hesitation or remorse, regardless of the victim’s age.

I don’t usually go the gritty route and I know I’m not the first one to point this out, but...would it be so unreasonable to think the parents all died fighting and their kids took up the mantle? Eggman’s age isn’t confirmed, but he’s a grown adult who could believably have been trying to take over the world for a few decades. Vanilla only avoided it because she’s not a fighter. The kids never talk about their parents, but why would they? It would be a sore subject for pretty much all of them. I had Silver and Amy briefly mention their relatives in Shellshock, but they were all deceased, and this is the unspoken reason.

I try not to focus on it because it makes me sad, but that is my headcanon. It makes the most sense to me.

That said, I’ll answer the more fun parts now! I love Sonic and Knuckles walking in on Shadow and Amy being suspiciously close. It’s especially funny if they try to tease them, but Amy’s oblivious or unashamed, so it’s just Shadow trying to hide how flustered he is, heh. Knuckles would have to be careful, though. If he ever tried to tease Shadow about Amy, Shadow could throw it right back by teasing him about Rouge.

As for the Sonic movies, if they do include Amy, I’m not sure how much they would bother with, tbh. Tails had basically nothing! I was so disappointed! When I saw the ending scene for the first movie, I was excited because I thought Tails was tracking down Sonic for some sort of important mission...but then the second movie just says he was stalking Sonic, watching him take bubble baths and stuff, and idk. That was really unsatisfying for me. I really liked Knuckles’ backstory, but Knuckles is a more serious character. Amy and Tails are pretty similar. We already had “younger character stalks Sonic and looks up to him,” so I fear they’d see Amy as redundant--both with her backstory and her presence. We know there’s more to her than that, but given how many times Amy’s role has been stolen before, I’m...trying not to get my hopes up.

However! I do have a story that goes into that. Someone asked me to do a high school AU a while ago. I don’t know if I’ll ever finish it (sorry!), but I might as well talk about that one aspect. Amy’s mom really likes Shadow because he was a total gentleman when he introduced himself, but Amy’s dad is different. Shadow and Amy were hanging out in Amy’s room, and Shadow wears the required school uniform in a really sloppy, disheveled way, so the dad took one look at this, panicked, and immediately assumed the worst, even though Shadow and Amy really were just friends at that point. Later on, Shadow says to Amy, “Your dad doesn’t like me,” and she goes, “Oh, don’t worry about that! Dad’s just weird around my male friends sometimes. Don’t worry, it’s not you!”

And then the scene changes to the parents, and the dad is like, “I’m telling you, it’s him! My readings are never wrong!” And it’s explained that the dad uses tarot cards, too, and he got a vision/reading when Amy was young that she was destined to wind up with a male hedgehog, so he’s overly protective whenever Amy befriends one. He basically scared off poor Silver, and Sonic won’t sit next to Amy when he’s around. Shadow’s different, though. He doesn’t shy away from Amy at all because he doesn’t care what anyone thinks. The mom adores this and reassures the dad that yes, his readings are always right, just not always in the ways that he expects. She says that she’s proud of how they’ve raised Amy and knows she’ll make the right decision someday--and if it did wind up being Shadow, she’d be happy for Amy because she’d be with someone bold enough to want to be around her even if others disapproved. The dad calmed down after that, but he did have a mini heart attack when Shadow took her to prom because he was in a tux and Amy’s pale pink dress was a little too close to white.

Of course that doesn’t really work for canon!verse, but it’d be cool if she had a parent who also got overzealous when analyzing tarot cards. I don’t know what I’ll do with that story, if anything. I like a lot of the ideas I have for it, but I doubt I’ll ever finish stringing them together. It’s an undertaking. I might post a snippet or two, but idk.
