I know this will never happen in your dragon fic, but I'm kind of curious. How do you think things would work if Katara and/or Sokka somehow gained the same ability as their partners to go back and forth between being humans and dragons?

Sokka and Katara would be water dragons opposed to fire dragons so they aren't as big as the others in dragon form and can't breathe fire or fly. Thankfully, the ocean is nearby so they can figure out things there. They discovered their wings are meant for swimming (much like penguin wings).

If it happens at home, Hakoda and Kya would immediately rush them to the Fire Family's house. Ursa would be glad to teach them how to manage the shifting and being a dragon. She's also thrilled there are more dragons.

The siblings would have a hard time adjusting to the heighten senses though. They have to wear ear coverings for the first couple of weeks before getting used to it. Katara gets especially upset when she accidently rips up one of her dolls with her claws. They would also face more discrimination being both foreigners and "demons" now.

On the brighter side, Sokka would enjoy hunting with Azula in the forest and Katara would love sunbathing with Zuko. In return, the water siblings will try to teach Zuko and Azula how to swim. Fire dragons don't mix well with water, so it doesn't go too well. Zuko and Azula opt to sunbath on the sand whenever they go to ocean. All four of them would love rough housing especially now that the fire siblings don't have to hold back as much.

Also, Ozai would help Hakoda and Kya dragon proof their house and how to cuddle the pups without throwing out their back (much). They'll move to the lighthouse to be right at the ocean and away from prying eyes. It's also easier for the Fire Family to visit in dragon form.

Any one remember the Friends episode where Joey and Ross accidently take a nap together, and they both low key freak out but want to do it again because it was the best nap ever?

Okay that but Stony.

Tony falls asleep on Steve on acidant (idk flying back from a mission or movie night or something). Steve doesn't care, is unphased. But TONY is mentally freaking out because it's the best sleep he's had in a looong time (ie no nightmares and the like). He wants to do it again but it weirded out that he wants to do it again. Awkwardness ensues.

Okay but what if before Ben died, he was a big music buff and loved all the "vintage" 20s 30s 40s 50s music. And of course that what Peter grew up with.

Maybe when Steve/Bucky makes reference to songs they knew, Peter is always commenting.

" That's a good one"

" That's not bad but I know there are better ones"

" Just like that one song yeah?"

" You like that one? Really? Don't seem like the type"

Etc.

Maybe Steve/Bucky starts getting annoyed thinking Peter is poking fun/taking digs at their expense.

Maybe it takes then finding Peter's aka Ben's record collection.

Or maybe Peter requesting a rare song at a gala and dancing with his Aunt May. Or maybe even asking Steve/Bucky to dance.

Of course I'm down for a thruple if someone wants to spin it that way!

I wonder if Yata and Fushimi have a favorite song they both like listening to. It would be funny if in the present they both hear the song playing while passing by somewhere and Yata starts singing it and to everyone's surprise, Fushimi is humming it, too. Yata noticed this and nudges Fushimi to sing it louder with him.

Okay but imagine this when they’re in middle school too, like when they haven’t been friends for that long. Yata is still getting to know more about Fushimi and trying to figure out what kind of things Fushimi likes (besides bland food) and dislikes (everything). He’s tried to get Fushimi to listen to music with him before but Fushimi always shrugs and says it’s too loud or too soft or too annoying, he’s always got some complaint for why he can’t listen to any of Yata’s music.

Then one day they’re in line waiting for a new game when some song comes on and Yata starts humming along. He suddenly realizes that someone’s humming next to him and he looks over to see Fushimi is absolutely humming along, like Fushimi doesn’t even seem entirely aware of it himself but he is absolutely humming at he tune perfectly. Yata gets this big grin and starts singing loudly, everyone is staring at them and Fushimi rolls his eyes and calls Yata an idiot. Yata’s like come on Saruhiko sing along with me, Fushimi refuses and says he doesn’t even know this song. Yata’s like you were totally humming along though and Fushimi denies it, Yata’s like you were I heard you.

So then jump forward post-ROK and say Homra and S4 just finished up some joint mission. Yata comes over to ask if Fushimi wants to go out afterward and he hears this song playing from one of the storefronts nearby. Yata’s like oh hey I haven’t heard this song in an age and he starts singing along. The S4 guys are all glaring at him but then they notice that Fushimi is sitting there beside Yata humming along. Yata grabs him by the arm, this huge smile on his face as he’s like I knew you liked this song, come on this time you’re singing along with me. Fushimi’s all were you singing I just heard someone being wastefully loud, Yata laughs and is like fine then be wastefully loud with me.
