On a Genshin Poll from a while ago, you said that you could talk about Xinyan way more and it would be nice hear those thoughts! Xinyan is one of favorite Genshin characters (her design is so cool) so if you don't mind talking about her more, I'd love to hear it!

oh i didnt mean xinyan specifically in general i like talking about design (critiquing.nitpicking.praising.etc) so it really extends to most any of the characters. but you asked about xinyan so ill talk about xinyan. design wise shes very nice to look at for. her colors are all so warm with one of my favorite palettes (black/red/white). shes on the simple side compared to alot of other characters and i think its nice makes her alot easier to draw. pretty easy design to remember. for me anyway (big sleeves/braids.big collar. big hair.spikes) i dont really need to give specific reasons tbh her design is just really good. one of the pyro characters ever

so like i played genshin impact yesterday and my only thoughts on it are good gameplay i like playong it its fun but i literally could not care less about the characters theyre just kinda meh, lile i want these bitches to shut up so i can continue mashing attacks and collecting shit like a crow

also i could pick on the designs so much they just seemed so overcrowded and just a bit unreadable? like theres ways to make detailed designs and still making them readable and interesting and fit the characters so you can tell what theyre about the moment you lay eyes on them

but these designs just kind of seem like pure eyecandy fanservice, and i dont even mind fanservice but it just doesnt have the intended effect on me,i think the fanservice just seems to take away more than add to the character

I just finished watching Silo season 1 yesterday, and I celebrated by watching a film that was on my watchlist for years already. And now I have a new favourite headcanon (which includes a major SPOILER for Silo):

Among the at least 18 Silos is definitely the City of Ember.

Like, an undergound community held alive by an unreliable generator? With porters delivering every important message and a system of government that in no way is safe from misuse of power? There may be no IT, and the sewer system has way more relevance, but other than that? Perfect Silo vibes. Except of course that, you know, Ember ain't no Silo. But no community is perfect. Maybe the City of Ember was built with another goal in mind?

Of course, I don't know any further about the world of Silo and of City of Ember than their respective TV adaptions. But I'm quite invested, and optimistic that at least the major inconsistencies of my lil theory might be addressed by the fact that the storylines of Silo and City of Ember can take place decades away from one another.
