Once it snaps shut, she cheers triumphantly and turns to Scout with a broad grin and a thumbs up. "See! I told you I could make it work. Now we're all ready to go!" She really had tried to pack light for the trip to Vegas, but maybe she got a little carried away.

This is an RP blog. This means I will be trying my best to roleplay as Elite Four member Grimsley with the [very] limited information we have on him. I will be including several headcanons* of mine regarding this character, though none of them are too drastic.

I also want to acknowledge the version of Grimsley we see in Pokémon Sun and Moon. Grimsley as we see him in SM is technically retired as a member of the Elite Four, so I will NOT be roleplaying as this specific version of Grimsley (for now). This is to not complicate things timeline-wise.

This version of Grimsley I’m roleplaying is set after the events of Pokémon Black2 and White2.

*As stated before this blog was previous @grimsley-official. Because of this, several blog specific headcanons and lore details have carried over.

Here is a list of things I find important to take note of:

-Grimsley is bisexual and identifies as cis/gender non-conforming.

-He is in a relationship with Gym Leader Burgh. This relationship had played out with a previous Burgh blog that I am no longer in contact with. Because of this, assume his relationship with Burgh developed offscreen. Grimsley is currently engaged to Burgh. Questions about their relationship are welcome!

-Grimsley has several already established friendships with people such as @/castelia-pidove and @/darkpunkrocker. He is also the Uncle of Piers and Marnie @/piers-official.

-He has several Pokémon that are not canon to ingame Grimsley. Many of them were gifts or obtained via small plotlines. If you have any questions about where he got a Pokémon feel free to ask!

HEART GOLD/SOUL SILVER ERA. This is mostly for my Johto muse writers. HGSS was a very turbulent time for everyone in the Johto region, Proton included. POST HGSS plots would be awesome too.

RED, GREEN, BLUE, YELLOW/LET'S GO PIKACHU & EEVEE ERA. Proton was actively going through rehab and recovery during the plot of these games, hence why he wasn't present for Silph Tower.

GLITCH CITY/ANOMALY PLOTS. I'd love to throw more of my weird glitch stuff at people. Maybe your character has an awful run in with one of the anomalies. Maybe your character has to deal with a close call with Fragmentation Syndrome. Maybe your character gets sent to the bad place.

PRE-EXECUTIVE ERA PLOTS. This is for my Rocket folks. I'd like to explore how Proton was before he was so highly ranked in the organization.

ESPIONAGE PLOTS. I'm a sucker for spies and stealth. This is something that can be utilized more than once.

SHADY BUSINESS PLOTS. Hire Proton for a job. He's good at what he does.

COMING TOGETHER TO FIGHT A COMMON ENEMY. Sometimes, you have to team up with the antagonist to take on a greater threat. Proton's the guy for the job.

SPARRING THREADS. I'm a sucker for two characters beating each other up for character development.

TWO WEIRDOS COME TOGETHER. I need Proton to interact with other strange folks. It would be fun.

ENEMIES TO VAGUE ALLIES. Not enemies to allies. Not allies to enemies. But a secret third thing.

Remember, ALL blog rules are still required: respect my boundaries, communicate with me, and don't use me as an angst punching bag. I reserve the right to say 'no'.

these are people that YOUR SPOUSE has inflicted actual, severe TRAUMA upon. its not just kf bullshit; the people from kf stay in their thread and point and laugh and theyre shitheads but theyre rarely the ones actually interacting with you.

This is an RP blog, however this specific version of Volo is CANON DIVERGENT and based off an au of mine. For more information regarding this specific au please read the brief summary below:

Volo is a time traveler who's recently fled from Hisuian era Sinnoh not long after the events of PLA. He ran away via space time distortion, which sent him to modern day Unova. He's adopted the alias of "Vee" and will deny any sort of relation to "Volo" or Cynthia.

Volo is not originally from Hisui and has spent a majority of his life jumping through timelines, so he's fairly familiar with the modern day. However he's spent quite a while in Hisui, so there will be a bit of a culture shock. His grasp on current events may be a bit dated as well.

He labels himself as a historian who specializes in mythology, however his intent is to learn more about Arceus and other Pokemon deities. He carefully hides any malintent behind a slightly unsettling mask of friendliness and sociability.

ONCE AGAIN this blog will contain some POTENTIALLY TRIGGERING TOPICS such as religion, religious guilt/trauma, paranoia, dissociation, and other topics that relate to Volo's experience as a religious man with an unhealthy obsession with "god" who also deals with paranoia and other mental issues.

Hello I know you have shown Everician eevee line pokémon and Everician togepi line pokémon, but are there any others?

Yep! I study all everice forms, but I find we know the most about the snom line!

Heres an image of a male frosmoth who landed on my hand, and Moss inspecting a snom :)

Our summers here are very similar to the winters in most regions. The snom who live here hibernate through our winters and wake up during our cold summers. This is best for them to breed, as the offspring who are hatched during the summer tend to evolve a lot quicker and therefore mate and lay more eggs.

For the differences between our snom here on Everice and the Galarian and Paldean variants: They have extremely short life-spans, the texture, size and shape of their spikes are different, and there is sexual dimorphism present in our specimens of frosmoth- Which is not observed in the non-everice variants.

Large, sharp spikes do happen on other variants of snom, but the way the spikes are formed are different, and they do not naturally become as sharp as the ones here. Snom eat snow and ice, and use internal organs to reuse that ice to grow their spikes. The everice ones tend to have a much larger version of the organ, and when you add in the difference in the temperatures here and the larger amounts of snow, this organ causes a lot more growth of the spikes. Theyre mostly used as a form of camouflage, but they also use these spikes as a natural defence, making it harder for predators to grab them. The main hunter of the snom is the alolan sandshrew and sandslash, who use their large claws to grip the snom and crack open the shell on rocks. evolution. 

We also have observed different behaviors especially in the way they disguise themselves as icicles. Snom secrete a silk thread that they use to attach themselves to branches so that they appear as icicles on trees while they sleep. The snom here have the same strategy of appearing as icicles, but because of their large jagged spikes, they can hang upside down to mimic naturally forming icicles rather than pretending to be one singular icicle.

Well fun fact! In the earliest iteration of Amy, she was half Eevee and had eeveelution powers! Although that hasn't been a part of her lore for years, its still nice to look back on heh.

🕯️Candle: Do you/your self-insert have a secret? If so, what is it and why do they keep it to themselves? Is it dark and mysterious or something small, yet impactful?

Amy carries around a small dragonite plush she's had since childhood for comfort and relief of homesickness. The main reason she's mostly kept it a secret is because she's just super embarrassed heh (the only person who knows bout it is Ash)
