"i'm not anymore. you realize you can't get away with everything just because it's your day, right?" not month, she's deliberate with it, and doesn't even bother addressing the spoiled remark. clover knows what she is and as much as minjeong hates it, the lovestruck of the two enables it more than clover could ever imagine. with an exaggerated eyeroll does she finally hop off of the couch, snatching the necklace from her best friend with very little grace before stepping behind her to drape it over her décolletage. As for myself, naturally, I wanna say Jamil for bias reasons but I'm not sure how well he'd tolerate my messiness - like I'm generally an organized person, but I'm not neat. At least I could do bug removal for him tho, and I'd like to think we could get decently along otherwise?

Trey seems like he'd be pretty sensible and capable of compromise and being considerate of each other. Like, just normal people existing in the same space together.

Azul doesn't seem terrible either, like sure I'd probably end up an unwitting participant in workshopping his latest deals, seeing if I'd bite, but otherwise again he'd be capable of being decently chill and I don't think we'd annoy each other too much.

Not that Malleus would ever need to room with anyone but ngl it could be kinda fascinating introducing him to normie / human things and all. Suddenly I'm feeling very Rook-like, observing the fae in their habitat.

Attempting to relax in between rounds is as easy as you'd think. So, not at all. It felt like there was always something new going on; Someone she hadn't met, some kind of drama to avoid getting wrapped up into, getting dragged off somewhere... She'd never describe herself as a "people person" and this place was swarming with social butterflies.

Or, people trying to be one. Looking down at it from re-securing their sleeve behind their elbow, they raise a brow. Bunny ears...? "Hey." The least they can do is be polite.

Not that she ever is. "Oh what, we haven't met? Swore I knew everyone." Frowning to herself, hopefully nobody ever calls her out on causally lying. "Phos. Nice to finally have this introduction out of the way...?" Indirectly asking someone's name with no clarification. Surely that'll go great.

clover gasps and pulls back a little when she tastes her own blood on her tongue. it’s not bad, quite the opposite, it’s just surprising. she’s not usually the one bleeding in these scenarios. “you are so fucking hot,” she all but growls before kissing wisteria forcefully, letting the blood smear across their lips.

AITA for wanting all magic to go to the fae and as a result wanting all humans dead?

I don’t know how to feel about this since everyone thinks I’m in the wrong, so help me out. I (567 M), have a problem with how humans live in a big and wonderful world, and I believe that I and my kind, the fae, deserve that world instead since we are powerful magical creatures. But for some reason, everyone is against it. Particularly this one human (32 M) who keeps fighting me everytime he sees me! He says he’s trying to prevent another “fae war”. I’ve tried to kill this guy so many times and he won’t die! And he has so much magic for a human and isn’t even poisoned from it! He pisses me off! Anyways, I thought that my fellow fae would be on my side but they’re not! They say that this goes against our “late king’s wishes” and that it’s “mass genocide” or other stupid excuses like that, but they don’t understand I’m doing this for them!

I don’t know, I’m feeling conflicted and all I really want to do right now is to kill the human, but I’m wondering if I should continue with my plan of exterminating all humans and taking their world for myself.

Am I in the wrong?

“howell. those were people she didn’t like. i stabbed someone i love. can you imagine her stabbing my dad? she would never. she wouldn’t even consider it. she might cry at the thought…though, she might be off her rocker enough that she would let it go if he stabbed her. but then you might kill him if he did that.” she loves her dad. she loves her mom. she loves her step mom. but none of her parental figures will ever get her the way howell does. why he’s so insistent on arguing that fact, she doesn’t understand. maybe the whole protective of her mother thing. he was so devoted to her mother it would make her sick if she didn’t secretly, desperately hope to be as connected to someone as those two. she laughs at the offer. “it’s tempting, but i think her family has some people it wouldn’t be worth pissing off by killing her. trust me, some days, i want to rip her heart out so she can’t love anyone ever again. if she ever even actually loved me,” she answers, perhaps more honestly than the question begged. she nods and almost smiles. she’s happy howell has tadhg, that he found someone who loves him, but it’s hard to feel that when she’s so heartsick. “…would you move back to the court of clover for him?”

clover rolls her eyes when he says her mother would understand. she would probably understand getting upset, but she has a hard time believing her mom wouldn’t be at least a little upset about the stabbing bit. she listens as howell explains, trying to see how it would work for her. “it makes sense. i guess i could try it. i’d have to figure out what the outlet would be. and i didn’t expect to feel so many things at once. it was actually batshit. like, one minute things were perfect and then it was just blowing up in my face.” she still has a hard time accepting things happened the way they did. “i mean, she said she loved me. she said she was mine. and then she wouldn’t move here and she was worried about her family and i could’ve understood that but she said they might not even miss her. and now i don’t have her and i still miss her. and i think i’d rather let someone stab me than go through a fight like that again.” she looks over at her uncle, trying to decide if she actually wants to ask the question on her mind. “how’d you know tadhg was worth not letting the hunger win?”

Here’s a closed starter for Clover Fields | @puddlexdeep Morning at Gisela's backyard; the greenhouse

It felt like gardening on a whole was experiencing a big boom in this era. Like many others, Gisela fell prey to the popularity of owning a Victorian terrace style greenhouse. Thanks to Vivian she already owned the structural base for one in the backyard, however, it was in need of a serious upgrade. That’s precisely what she gave it last year, inclusive of the Victorian terrace style facelift, plus a few magical wards to ensure that her slice of greenery remained private. Only witches and family would be able to gain access. 

From the first time she detected her daughter was in Cardinal Hill, she kept trying to ensure it wasn’t a fluke. When she could no longer ignore the results of the scrying she tried to track them down. It was proving to be a challenge. Even the Hometown Grocers cashier that knows everyone by name hasn’t been able to give Gisela any information on a young woman with the name Clover. 

As one month turned into three, she kept wondering where and when they would appear. Also, did they come searching for her? How did they even know where to look? These questions and more flit through her mind as she tends to her plants and flowers. Gisela picks up a soil scoop at the same time the greenhouse door suddenly swings open. Now, who in their right mind would burst in here like that?  Already peeved at the rude interruption she turns to see an unfamiliar witch. 

“And who the fuck are you?” Is this what she gets for having an open door policy with her mentees? There’s one young witch in particular that comes to mind. Malia often barges into Gisela’s home panicking, not taking context cues, or caring that she’s otherwise engaged. “Listen, if Malia is the one that referred you to me, she left out the part where you should knock first.” Is no one being raised with proper manners anymore?

"Hey you little shit, come back here!" Xander usually wasn't so loud but he was doing his best to stop the kid who was bolting out the door of the arcade. He thought it had just been coins but the kid had made off with most of the cash behind the prize counter and had knocked over an employee and a few kids in the process. Xander had just been gaining on him when he felt himself collide with someone else. He quickly shot his hands out to catch the person he had run into and came to a stop. "Shit, I'm sorry, are you alright?" He looked over their shoulder and sighed. "I hope that kid is on the track team." He was sure someone else would catch him and he could only go so far in this town but his attention quickly turned to Clover who he finally seemed to recognize as he took a moment. "I didn't slam into you too hard, did I?"

ivy knows that she is not supposed to be jealous, but it is beyond her control. despite the secret kisses and passionate nights they have shared, they are just best friends, and to breach that part of their unspoken contract would mean risking her lifelong friendship with clover, who has always been her best confidant and most cherished partner in crime. ivy purses her lips together, as if to stop herself from protesting further and spilling something that she might come to regret. "and since when did you start listening to what your dad asks you to do?" she asks in a contained scoff, attempting to put on a more nonchalant front but failing miserably. " — and he's not even cute." there is a chance that the stranger looks better in person than in her deep dive online, but that's not even the main issue here — the crux of the issue is that ivy doesn't want clover to be near anyone else, but there's no justifiable excuse that she can use that doesn't jeopardize their friendship.
