I am so glad to see someone else remembers the Timeless Tales version of Rapunzel. I remember watching it on VHS at a friend's house when I was little.

Day 2

Day 2 was one of their trademark candles. This one was meant to smell like Calcifer’s hearth. At first I didn’t agree, because I didn’t think that’s how it would have smelled… but I think it might actually fit movie!Calcifer. It smells like apples, mostly; rather cozy, but also kind of bright and fresh in a way I don’t really associate with book!Calcifer, who I thought might smell more like bacon or sausages and woodsmoke. It’s really nice, though! My space is a disorganized mess right now, but I definitely NEED to make space so I can light this before it fades!

Vivian was pulled out of her thoughts by her smartphone, the ringtone cutting through the morose silence that had followed her outburst. She was jerked back to reality with a suddenness that made her head throb.

Chapter 11 - Teeth

Something seemed off about this man. On the surface, he seemed to be the perfect visage of what she found attractive in a man—short, brunette hair, squared jaw, five o’clock shadow, and blue eyes—but Vivian seemed to see a crack etched in the facade. His teeth were too white, his eyes too intense, and his smile too wide. It was as if he was a lion and she was his prey.

Chapter 13 - Mistake

“Perhaps, I made a mistake turning you!” he hissed. “Perhaps, I should rectify that mistake! Does the lake of fire call to you, Cherelle?
