Imagine-

87 Casey, 03 Casey, 07 Casey, Bayverse Casey and Ronin Casey Marie don't know what to think of Rise Casey Jr. Mainly because this boy despite growing up in an apocalyptic world, seems to be this happy if not somewhat naive teenager. Like they're trying to figure out how exactly he's like one of them since they all got a few screws loose in some aspects. They rarely see this boy lose his temper, and he seems pretty chill and laid back. And they'll like bring up these little details and 12 Casey and Rise Cass will just brush off their curious confusion and be like-

"Trust us. Jr is definitely a Jones through and through."

And for a long time they just kinda accept this fact that he's different from them, and they all love him despite it cuz even if he's calmer than the rest of them, he's still one of them. And then it happens, their world gets shaken off balance.

The Casey's are in a fight, hockey sticks and baseball bats flying around and hitting bad guys like it's nobody's business. And then some bad guys goes straight for Rise Casey Jr and the older Jones members are instantly filled with a sense of dread cuz while Rise Casey Jr isn't weak by any means necessary, he's still somewhat the youngest of the bunch. And what makes them even more unnerved is how 12 Casey and Rise Cass don't seem concerned at all, despite Rise Casey Jr being Rise Cass's literal son from the future.

So they go to try and help only to stop dead in their tracks when they see Rise Casey Jr pull out his hockey stick and with a flick of a wrist fully functional spinning chainsaw blades spring to life. With his mask fully in place this kid then proceeds to destroy the bad guys in a matter of seconds. The Casey's are absolutely baffled, watching in awe as this seemingly chipper, sarcastic boy fully embraces the absolute batshit madness that is the Jones bloodline. And as they watch they see 12 Casey and Rise Cass's faces, full of this smug knowing and pride and it hits the others that these two little shits knew the entire time that Rise Casey Jr was actually just as unhinged as the rest of them. And suddenly the two brushing off their curious confusion and concerns make a hell of a lot more sense as they watch this boy from the future wipe the floor with these thugs like a pro.

Afterwards they all just have to take a minute to process everything they'd just witnessed cuz holy fucking shit.

I will never be okay with the fact that 2003 went on long enough for us to get a wedding episode but we couldn't see April and Casey have kids. I neeeed to see the boys be the best uncles in the world. (this child will never actually walk anywhere alone. absolutely not.)

Was it love at first sight for Mikey and the tots? Did it take Mikey some time to warm up to them? Super cute AU!!

It was kind of hectic when Mikey saw the tots for the first time ever, while also being emotionally stunted, so the warming up is kind of a slow but surely process!

Bonus: ft last ronin Casey’s

rereading through the lost years and realising casey marie has had zero dynamic with moja so far besides these 2 panels :(

we've had her comforting yi when she got hurt, having a heart to heart with uno about his impulsivity, and her and odyn have had an adorable fist bump and 'you look lovely sensei', 'sensei has been gone five seconds and i miss her already' (odyn is such a sweet soul). but moja? we've had nothing. even sitting here together for a whole two panels, casey marie isn't even looking at her.

moja seems close to her grammy april, happy to chat away to her and hold her hand, but seems to keep to herself more compared to the other three, always with her headphones on. i'm... intrigued? to see if this is a case of the dynamic being overlooked in the lost years by accident and they're as close as she is with the rest of the turtles, or if there will be some kind of detached or tense relationship between them in re evolution.

i found a single bonus panel, from april's imagination btw, where casey marie seems to be squeezing moja's shoulder. more of this please!!

i know it's a bit of a toss-up right now whether uno or moja will be the new leader of the turtles (or if there will be a leader at all), but i'm leaning more towards moja because even if she and casey marie aren't as close, she still has the edge over uno when it comes to how impulsive/cocky/reckless he can be.

i think it would be super interesting if moja ends up mirroring pre-ronin michelangelo in that out of the new turtles, she ends up being the most resistant to the teachings and demands of her sensei despite being the de-facto leader. wrestling between honouring your family and sensei versus just wanting to live a peaceful, conflict-free life feels very in line with what we've seen from the last ronin so far.
