I feel like modern au Machete would really like watching/listening to asmr videos to relax. Nail tapping, wood etc, no mouth sounds (because they would freak him out). Vasco would be more of a rain/fireplace sounds kinda asmr enjoyer

Mmm, maybe? Asmr is a pretty varied genre, and I feel like there's a lot of irregular/messy/gross/unpredictable material that would have an irritating effect on him rather than relaxing.

Machete might occasionally give mindfulness exercises and audio guided meditation a honest try, thanks to his therapist's recommendation. He'd be secretive about the whole thing because of his own scepticism and embarrassement about having to resort to such "unscientific methods" to keep himself stable. His results would vary, but it would be vastly preferable to his previous favorite coping habit of stress smoking.

Vasco would be a rain/fireplace sounds enjoyer, yes, and I can imagine him layering them with his music of choice on occasion. But he's also a natural-born grass toucher so if he needs a moment to clear his head, he might just go for a walk. Lately I've been envisioning him having an interest in vinyl records and (film) cameras, so he might not be overly reliant on screens for fun and relaxation as a person.

ALSO i see people saying that sophie didnt like keefe until stellarlune or that her switch happened too quickly but my two cents that nobody asked for is that i think she's liked him since at least exile and i thought that was kind of the point ??? obviously everybody interprets the series in their own way but personally i thought that we were supposed to know she liked keefe for pretty much the whole series especially during the sofitz era ?? something i think is sooooo interesting that i never see people bring up is cassius's head vs heart theory. when i read it i thought that it was supposed to be very obviously implied that it was relevant to the love triangle with fitz being head and keefe being heart but everyone seems to forget about it </3 . i feel like it makes perfect sense that her feelings would "switch" to keefe so quickly because she it was already keefe!!!!! she just didnt realize / was in denial / had a 3-ish year long blonde moment

I slept pretty much all day (except for the few hours that I was eating or playing video games with friends). Yesterday was a lot, so I'm not really mad. I went on a short walk before dinner, and I made sure I talked to someone that's not over the phone. Sundays are usually difficult because I sit around and overthink. Todays overthinking was about how lost I am in life (recurring).

Oscar is distracted by Lando when Carlos speaks. He knows he’s wearing a soft smile, the corners of his eyes crinkling just slightly. The very picture of the “heart eyes Piastri” that everyone likes to tease him for. Lando most of all.

“You are in love with him.” Carlos speaks with surety— he isn’t asking.

Oscar turns toward him, opens his mouth to— deny it, maybe. But Carlos’ gaze is steady and the words die in his throat. He closes his mouth, swallows around the lump they leave.

“You sound like you speak from experience.” They both know Oscar’s deflecting, but Carlos just shrugs and lets his gaze slip to Lando.

“He makes it easy. And he doesn’t know,” That he is easy to love. How to recognize the love that pour from others, for him. “That you love him.” Carlos’ gaze back on Oscar, his voice tilts up at the end, almost a question. Oscar’s head jerks to the right, a slight shake ‘no’. Carlos nods. “I understand.”

There’s a weight to Carlos’ eyes that Oscar doesn’t understand. As Carlos turns and walks the other way, he wonders if he missed a layer of their conversation.

Hi, I’m relatively new to this fandom and also to how asks work, so I’m sorry if this is weird, but you have the most wonderful ideas and explanations on life-series (and non-life-series) jimmy stuff, so i figured I’d share a possible canary curse theory with you (for peer review or something): If one really goes with the metaphor that Jimmy is the canary in the coal mine, I think that would make the others the miners (since I don’t think anyone is a passive enough player to actually be the coalmine). And historically miners would pick a canary and put it in a cage. Said canary is not necessarily Meant to die, but it is meant to die First. Its meant to suffocate, to suffer. Sometimes miners would bring extra oxygen to keep the bird alive, but they still brought it into a mine, where it could not escape. Canaries are then a symbol of happiness turned into a death omen because people decided this life was worth less than their own. Which, i think makes it quite funny and very tragic that Jimmy is now seen as the canary and mocked for it. Because all the miners are complicit in his death, moreso than if it is just bad luck. Not entirely sure how this’d fit with real, secret and wild life though. Possibly accidents, escapes and then getting shot down while finally free.

No no this is exactly what the ecosystem is. Each one of them is complicit if even passively with no recognition of it in a bunch of their cases. Thinking Jimmy's life to be lesser than their own...

Purposely putting Eden with an OC (Vivika) that would get on her nerves. Sure they're both big ladies with mouth wounds that live in the forest, have a sweet tooth, and long for romance but their desire to dominate would cause them to clash (Vivika thinks it's fun but I don't think Eden would like the challenge one bit). Vivika would also probably be a bit too...... intense for her to handle. They would be terrible for each other to put it bluntly. But oughhhhhh thinking about Vivika pressing a disheveled Eden into the ground, her axe pressing against her throat (Retribution for all the PCs Eden put through hell 🙏)
