Hello and welcome to my Lair.

I’m “Luhcypouic”, an French crazy guinea-pig lady of 28yo. You can find there a lot of chaos, a lot of love and support to other creators, and sometimes my drawings, writings, headcanons, game report, photos of my kitties…

I consider myself as “humanist”, feminist and support of LGBTQ+. I’m trying my best to not hurt anyone, so please if I have offended you, don’t be afraid to reach me and talk about it. Sometimes a good conversation can open our eyes, instead of being mean on other people’s back.

we all know bilbo is an unreliable narrator as he’s writing his story from his perspective years later, with knowledge of the significance of the events that occurred and how he impacted them (especially when we look at the story of the one ring) but like, how did he remember all of those details? we know bilbo’s observant, but he’s also very stressed out all of the time and that makes it hard to remember things.

i personally like to think that bilbo kept a series of journals during the journey, the first abandoned in the wood elves palace (and was a journal that formerly functioned as a ledger), the second kept during the siege of the lonely mountain. 

the journals are hundreds of pages of short passive-aggressive ramblings on dwarves and dragons and adventures and food with multiple mental breakdowns sprinkled in. there are at least fifteen poems on the stupidity of dwarves. he has pages upon pages of painstaking analysis on the riddle game. he keeps tallies for every butterfly he sees. his grammar either gets progressively better or progressively worse. at some point he just writes “IT’S HAPPENING” with no date and no other context.

                   Honestly, I feel the same as anon.  Fandom is the reason my feelings on Feanor went from neutral/indifferent to 'flames, flames on the side of my face' vengeful hatred and I'm still bitter about it because I fucking love the Silm/HoMe but goddamn I've hated some parts of the fandom and now reflexively want to murder people over minor characterization/interpretation choices.  I just want to enjoy my favs and write my weird fics and share the love, not walk on eggshells.   

god, I love Feanor but the “he never did anything wrong ever and if he did it wasn’t his fault!!” crowd can be, uh, offputting, I get you. my only reflexive murderous impulses are over the, look, i find fluffy headcanons about Elrond and Elros and their kidnap dads boring but why do people have to keep taking unnecessary swipes at Elwing on points that do not make sense if you read the actual text -

anyway, it sucks and I sympathise and I really hope that eventually certain people who are super wrong are going to look back on their opinions and feel really embarrassed :/

                   I'm curious about your opinion of Elrond/Glorfindel as a pairing then, I've always thought of them as tbh the most obvious and the most substantial option - also I'm weak to the kind of   lord/liege dynamics there  

I have trouble shipping characters who are canonically in relationships with other people, though? I mean, like most pairings I could probably be sold on it by the right fic, but... idk, they’re probably just characters who seem too healthy and functional for me to get invested >_>

                   I'm biased as fuck too but I don't think you're wrong - the Silm inference-based pairings tend to have more interesting and well thought out dynamics than, say, Glordfindel/Erestor - I've yet to see a take on them that wasn't painfully generic                

I mean, what’s up with people who don’t obsess over scraps of canon and build up detailed headcanons based on - I was about to say minimal context but Tolkien never wrote anything without ten layers of context in his life. (How does Erestor manage to get actual scenes in canon and still have less personality than Celebrimbor tho.)

                   I'd like to thank you from the deck of the good ship Indis/Nerdanel, where Indis is always too sensible to spend time pining after the unreachable, and if neither of your husbands are coming back people are pretty understanding.              

I honestly love that Indis’ reaction to falling for Finwe was to just... get on with her life, because she’s a well-rounded person with interests outside her relationships.

3. what is the best fandom you’ve ever been involved in?

esta ciertamente es una pregunta complicada, especialmente en cuanto a “mejor” se refiere.

he andado en muchos fandoms y seguro acabare en muchos mas, y todos los he disfrutado de una u otra manera; aun así, eso ha sido en parte por como me he involucrado en ellos.

por ejemplo, disfrute inmensamente Candy Candy mientras estuve en el Forito Rosa. mas cuando fue el boom de FS el fandom, incluso en el foro, fue bastante insoportable. 

sailor moon y sus ship wars fue casi tan horrible como las ship wars de Saint Seiya. 

De los que mas disfruto quizá sean los de MKR y recientemente el de Yuri on ice. son fandoms tranquilos y que realmente aportan sin tirarle demasiado al prójimo. 

tokien y star wars definitivamente están en una categoría aparte…. son geniales y los adoro y podría vivir de ellos continuamente

aun así, fandom en el que caigo, fandom que disfruto lo mejor posible y realmente se me hace difícil elegir uno solo como el “Mejor”

17. Who was your first OTP and are they still your favourite?

Candy y Terry. yo sabía que esos dos eran el uno para el otro cuando vi la serie por primera vez cuando tenia como 7 años y no sabia que era un Ship.

y considerando que por ahí hay una historia que quiere surgir de entre lo mas recóndito de mi mente para estos dos… sip, aun son de mis favoritos.

39. What is your greatest strength as a writer?

Dicen por ahí que soy una drama queen, mas no se que tan cierto sea eso. 

Personalmente, lo que mas me gusta y en lo que yo creo me va mejor es en darle detalles a lo que pasa, donde pasa, como pasa o que se esta sintiendo. ahora bien, también trato de no caer en el detalle excesivo y casi casi hacer una oda al zurco de lagrimas que caían delicadamente sobre la tersa mejilla del protagonista.

mas bien es como que trato de situar al lector en la escena, como si fuera el quien esta viviendo o viendo de primera mano lo que sucede.

45. What is your all time favourite Fanfic?

no se!! no estoy segura de poder decir este es EL FIC. vaya, me enamoré de Reencuentro en el vórtice de Mercurio, pero también me enamore de For Argument’s Sake de Isis cw; puedo releer a Study in Scarlette de Kittebasu o chillar como magdalena con Godchild o Singular Focus de @griseldajane

o me puedo perder en la lectura de imaginación y hacer berrinche con Lantis cada vez que lo leo…

Tengo muchos favoritos… y no podría decir igual que con los fandoms cual es el “mejor” de todos. 

49. Do you care if people comment/reblog your writing? why/why not?

ahhhh finalmente una fácil!!

un review, un comentario sobretodo si realmente dice algo me puede poner una sonrisa en el rostro por al menos dos horas. 

esos que solo dicen actualiza pronto la verdad me fastidian.

los reblogs me gustan, y confieso que cuando sucede, espío la publicación ara ver que dicen las tags del reblog.

con esto dicho, puedo responder que si bien son apreciados y hasta cierto punto esperados, tampoco son algo que me quite el sueño. 

alguna vez viví de ellos, y no hacia mas que actualizar la página  ver si había algo nuevo que no me hubiera enterado. Después entendí que no escribo realmente para un publico, sino que en realidad escribo para mi misma, escribo lo que me gusta, como me gusta y cuando me gusta o cuando puedo, no cuando o como el mundo lo quiera.

asi que, si bien agradezco infinitamente cada vez que llega un comment, review o reblog, tampoco es algo que espere con la misma ansiedad que el día de pago.

Hi hi! Another busy week has gone in a flash! Last weekend we went to my niece’s first birthday party, which was equal parts adorable and annoying. She is beyond cute and just as chunky as ever, but if I hear the Hot Dog song one more damn time…Mickey Mouse is trying to become my worst enemy. We got AC in the warehouse I work in, and it’s been amazing…and really cold. I love heat and I’m somewhere between missing baked alive and thankful I’m not enduring 100+ degree heat. We usually left out early on the days the heat was unbearable, but it was pretty awful regardless.

Orxefo & Zecora. They both have canonically died and came back.

Janeal brought Orxefo back.

Tokien,Janeal and Nadina helped Zecora to have her normal blood back due to her being injected by "The Tar infection" (what Tokien calls it) aka Tetrodotoxin, A chemical found in some seadwellers who are venomous had been injected into her. Causing her to get sick, have nervous system damage and eventually die. However in this universe, it causes and extra symptom, causing blood to go black and thick like Tar.

For Tokien though....he's mute. Traumatic/Selective mute. And he does ASL to communicate. It's easier for him. He's real nervous around trolls but becomes feral around bronze bloods. So I feel like that would interesting.
