So I got bored and decided to look into if Doctor Who had a large Asian audience and I ended up finding these Japanese book adaptations of some of the old stories and ngl they go hard as fuck.

reason for colouring under the cut:

this piece is kinda important to me because it's the first drawing i made with a colourblind filter on!

i have tritanomaly (which honestly feels quite mild to me, but that might just be stubbornness), which means i can't distinguish blues well and honestly makes everything seem more pale? the two sliders on the image below look identical to me.

i turned on the colour filter on my device recently and oh my god, i couldn't believe how saturated most things were 😭😭 i thought i had lost my mind.

of course, i immediately started drawing with the colours that looked much brighter to me, which was mainly purple and cyan (yellow was a shock too). after a few days, i completely forgot that the filter was on, took it off, and realised how desaturated my actual vision was, which was humbling.

here's a side by side of how normal colour vision would be compared to how i would see it (as close as i could make it, still probably not that accurate!)

as fun as this was i'll probably draw without the filter to make things look more normal to you guys 😭😭 apparently it looks very desaturated but it seems normal to me 💔

it's strange and beautiful to see my art the way the rest of you see it (and also understand that the reason i never used green was because i thought it was the same as blue...) i would honestly love to get glasses that correct it, but idk if they can come with a glasses prescription too?

but the nice thing is that i see reds the same, so at least the arsenal kit looked the same!!

i didn't wanna corrupt sydney, and lore wise, tomi wouldn't too. i decided to stick to whitney and make an angel run for sydney. that's how juli was made.
