The Di-Angelo cold case becomes something of a true crime phenomenon. A well to do Italian family suddenly moves to the US, not odd in itself considering the times but only the two children and the mother have passports and immigration records despite photos that include a mysterious father figure who is never named, not even on the childrens birth certificates or the estates records.

The mother is struck by lightning in DC and her funeral and headstone are paid for by an anonymous donor. The kids are sent to a private school in DC, also paid for by an anonymous donor, but then they just disappear a few months in and there’s no further record of what happened to them. Missing posters circulated for a while but people forget about two missing orphans in the midst of World War II.

Some theories the mysterious father was in the Italian mafia or a high member of Mussolini’s inner circle and reclaimed the children secretly, some think the kids were kidnapped for ransom money, and some crazy theories swear the kids were spotted decades later, still children somehow, in Maine.

just realized i never posted this here. this is an annabeth chase painting i did about two months ago. the nose is too small and kinda weird with thr lighting? i cant explain it. but aside from that im really proud of this actually. i wasnt specifically referencing leah (mostly because i started this in loadshedding and by the time it ended i was too stubborn to change the sketch) but i hope it resonates with you nonetheless.

I might write a jercy fic where basically Percy's mom doesn't know that Percy's a halfblood (it could be Jasons mom to but idk) so he lies saying that he spent his summer with his boyfriend (that he doesn't have) and than his mom invites him and his boyfriend over for Christmas and Percy is like "shittttt" and eventually convinces Jason to be his fake bf but they both have feelings for one another

• Will glows when seeing people he likes

• Percy occasionally just give Annabeth random underwater items (Coral, Seaweed, sponges etc) that he finds

• Leo is gay for Jason

• When Jason was a child he would get small clouds over his Head when he was upset

• Leo knows how to stitch/Unstitch clothes (and uses this power for evil)

• After TOA Apollo would occasionally get silent episodes where he refused to talk.
