Day two of #AuGhost #AuGhost2023 is the prompt transfix. I wanted to do something sort of Black Swan / Perfect Blue / Mirrors inspired, with her being transfixed by her own image in the mirror. That image is not all that it seems to be, of course.

To the welder I saw as I was leaving work yesterday: you were up on the roof of the building coming up next door. The sun was setting, the sky already dark behind you, and you were glowing reddish-pink in the light of your torch. You were lit up the exact color as the sky across the bridge, like you were holding your own sparking, setting sun. It would have been a beautiful painting, but I'm not a painter, and I wish you could have seen it.
