Con amigos hicimos el #BasuraChallenge o también llamado #TrashChallenge. Consiste en tomar una fotografía de un lugar lleno de basura, y después tomar otra imagen con el lugar ya limpio. Vemos como aumenta la contaminación y el descuido del planeta se ve reflejado día a día. Compartamos este challenge. This is a great idea, but make sure you leave the natural stuff alone. Seaweed and sticks may not look or feel great, but the wildlife needs all that.Same for brush and grass. As long as it’s not irredeemably tangled with some form of trash, leave it be. 

Also, be careful, especially near water. Fish hooks are nasty suckers. Gloves and a trash grabber are a good idea.

Nor do you have to get all the trash! Picking up a few pieces helps, even if you don’t have the energy to get it all. String and plastic bags are priority, those are the most likely to entangle an animal. Fishing lures are also right up there at the top. Any other plastic is next, then metal cans. Glass is lowest priority- it can cut people’s feet, but is inert and harmless to most wildlife. If you’re at a beach and find sea glass, as long as it’s smooth enough not to cut anyone, you can leave it- it won’t hurt anything, and either someone will pick it up to keep because it’s pretty, or it’ll be buried and will just act as an unusually large sand grain. That’s what glass is, really- it’s just a chunk of silica, after all.

GALERIA CLEANUP DAY 2019 Só agora tive tempo para selecionar algumas das fotos que gostei do evento que participamos ontem. O #worldcleanupday 2019. A ação teve sensibilização ambiental com música do @samirmusica, a Jujuba do @amigosdajubarte , mesa de frutas, apresentação da canoa havaiana para pescadores locais, coleta de lixo em varios pontos de Vitória, a criação da do mosaico da tartaruga de lixo na Ilha do Frade, idealizado pelo artista @nicogdt e o marlin de lixo de 80 metros construído por muitas mãos, envolvendo ONGs, órgãos do governo e muitos voluntários, orientados pelo @projetopegada. While at the beach yesterday I was people watching and I couldn’t help but notice the thing that made me smile, every now and then someone will come out of the water and they’ll be caring garbage with them they were removing the garbage they found floating on the water and made sure it got put into a garbage can nearby, my sister did it too, on the beach others clean up the trash the spotted. I’ve noticed that on my daily walks around the streets there are many plastic bottles, glass bottles, and paper just tossed on the ground, so I’ve decided to make this challenge dedicated to trying to make a change in our environment.
