fall scent profile series pt 1: cinnamon girl ☕️

description: freshly baked cinnamon rolls with icing, sweet, sugary goodness, the air of a coffee shop during rush hour 🍂

body wash ♡

these two body washes smell divine ! cinnamon chai (also cinnamon buns by philosophy) gives that perfect vibe for when the temperature and leaves change and we’re shifting into cozy comfort. cinnamon dolce is a literal treat and pairs perfectly with the next products *drumroll pls*

scrubs ♡

these two scrubs are perfect cinnamon-y contenders. cinnamon dolce keeps us more sweet while pumpkin spice latte (which i’m so happy they brought back this year) turns us to more a spicy and complex scent with its clove note

moisturizer ♡

now the fenty holiday butta drop is god tier okayyy! it literally smells like the cinnamon pretzels you smell while walking through mall and the shimmerrr. it’s such a cute touch and i feel so girly and cute and edible when i wear it lucky for y’all the tree hut sweet cream moisturizer they just came out with? total dupe ! smells the exact same with notes of vanilla bean, coconut cream and marshmallow fluff <3

perfumes & misc ♡

i have a perfume, body mist and deodorant here and i think these all capture that cinnamon girl aura! sol de janeiros 71 is like fall in a bottle! our weather hasn’t changed for the better so i’d recommend this for when it’s cooler outside (it is a fall scent after all) native’s oat milk latte deodorant has clove, chocolate and a splash of milk perfectly cozy, warm and sweet. finally, chai epice really lives up to her name. le gourmand says it best, “this fragrance will make you want to grab the perfect chai latte, a soft blanket, and spend a cozy night in” and the reviews also hail to its sweet and spicy scent :3

to go along with her signature sweet cotton candy fragrance mist that i posted previously, i imagine emma would mainly use the cotton candy sugar scrub. i personally really want that one, but i currently use the strawberry sugar scrub along with the strawberry cheesecake fragrance mist that i mainly use and also tagged for emma! so it made so sense to tag her with the strawberry sugar scrub as well. and the moroccan rose is very sweet, light, and floral, so i felt like it matched emma along with this lineup

i know that i previously stated that andrea is a more floral girlie, but i had to tag her as these fruity flavours. the peach sorbet was a given because i just associate peaches with her. plus, it would match with the peach sunrise fragrance mist. i just smelled papaya paradise at target yesterday and it definitely is an andrea core scent. and candied lemon is a scent i just discovered online last night and is definitely a scrub that i want. i imagine it smells very very sweet, just as sweet as andrea is! as for a main scent, i imagine her go-to would be the peach sorbet sugar scrub

it was difficult again to get some stephanie scents, but i figured stephanie would be into the idea of having a pretty scented sugar scrub to moisturize her skin. i picked the birthday cake scent not only because i discovered it last night and now i really really want it, but because she’s a baker and it just makes perfect sense! and then i remember picking melon scents for her with the fragrance mists, so having the watermelon sugar scrub tagged for her made sense. and then the vitamin c is supposed to be a real citrus smell. it’s quite random, but it seemed like the best fitting one for miss stephanie

so for olivia, moonlight glow just screamed her energy. it reminded me of the style of the twilight mist fragrance mist that i previously tagged her as. lavender was kind of a random choice, but it just felt like something olivia would find naturally soothing. i don’t know how to explain cinnamon dolce other than the fact that i realize cinnamon is just a really olivia core scent

i figured mia wouldn’t exactly care to have a particular scent (i know i already stated this lmao) so again i picked vanilla since it’s pretty basic. i know there’s another more “fancy” vanilla scrub, but i imagined mia probably wouldn’t even recognize the difference between the two lmao. and exotic bloom is a fresh boy-ish scent that i imagine mia would gravitate towards. the apple scent was mostly because i picked an apple scented fragrance mist for her previously, so this one would be a nice match

little fall shopping haul! needed to fuel my spirit so i went to get some fall/halloween things and starbucks. i picked up two of the fall tree hut scrubs and the PSL foaming gel wash. here are my first impressions/reviews:

Apple Macchiato Scrub- as always, tree hut scrubs are the best ones. and the scent on this is really nice. it smells like apple and spices for sure giving it a warm apple spice tea vibe. i don’t so much get coffee on this one. 🍎

Pumpkin Spice Latte Scrub- this was the one i went to Ulta to look for! and it is amazing. it smells exactly how you’d expect a PSL scented thing to smell, not quite as strong on coffee but definitely warm and cozy with pumpkin spice! 🎃

Pumpkin Spice Latte Foaming Gel Wash- same on the scent, so let me talk about the gel wash. i’m really partial to bath and body works, as i’ve used it for years, so i can be picky about my soap. this one is fantastic though. i can tell it would be amazing in foam with a loofa, but since i’m currently away from home and don’t have mine i can’t say for sure. however, the foam it does get without a loofa is impressive! ☕️

overall, i’d say if you want coffee scent go for the other coffee scents they’re bringing out, as these are both light on coffee. however, if you just want a fall scent these are perfect ! 🍁

Body butter;

I usually never use body butter and I don't know why. Never decided to buy it I guess that's all. Now that I have I love the texture. Soft, silky and smooth which feels nice and comforting. A little goes a long way.

Body Gel;

Love the lather, love the scent and love the feel on my skin. A little goes a long way. At first I felt a dryness after I used it (out of the bath and I dried my body) but, then after applying the body butter it went away. Not sure if that means it's drying on me or if I need to give it a few more tries. I still say I like it.

Good thing is I don't seem to be allergic to the body butter or the body gel. Haven't used the scrub yet but I eventually will.

Overall I like them and I'll probably buy more. From this morning and now it's afternoon, I can still smell the morrocan rose on my skin (it's mid to faint) which I love. I'll also try out the mist just because I like the scent a lot and I want to smell it on me more.
