Sky will bonk chain members in the head with his scarab. It is inevitable. The bonk comes for all.
Sky can't pilot it well enough to directly pickpocket, but it can often be seen with legend's hat in its jaws. Not for long though as sheerow has given legend more than enough practice at wrangling his possessions back from airborne bastards.

yesterday I was panicking because the next video seemed way too big and impossible to finish on time, and today I've written five pages of the first draft and I've got that "Ooooh it's cooking!" feeling. Gotta trust that the Little Spirit who comes up with all my creative ideas has my back

Caleb is so focused on his date partner fellow player that he doesn't realize he's not paying any mind to how he's treating the EVOL kitties who do not like at all being pet by his right hand. Naturally, he has to be taught a lesson.
But he's offended them so much that he doesn't deserve to join their ranks, oh no. And what could bring the kitties more joy than seeing their arch nemesis brought to his knees at their beck and call?
You belatedly notice the kitties' discontent, but fortunately doesn't see any changes when Caleb wakes up the next day (as he's crashing your place, of course, where else would he be but all up in your space?).
Everything seems fine, until you toss him an orange and he catches it.
In his mouth.
"... Caleb? Are you feeling all right?"
"Never felt better," he replies with eyes too bright, his smile beaming, too wide, as he holds the orange in his left hand.
"Ooookay then. Be a good boy and go sit down-"
Caleb's right hand lands harshly on the table, and vibrates so hard it rattles the mugs.
"... Sooo..." He's panting, his smile more a grimace, mouth parted as he sucks in air. "It would appear that the kitties... uploaded a new personality module."

Treasure Planet & The Sea Beast are some of the BEST MOVIES & I will stand by that! Also what are your thoughts on 2003 tmnt so far?
As of writing this I’m still on Episode 8, still waiting for the really heavy plot stuff to kick in, but Im havin fun. Atm I still largely prefer 2012(that show is 80% of my humor), but am open to seeing the scales tip.
Rn my fave is Raph, he’s my fave in general but I love how much more newyorkish he is. I also like Casey, he’s such a vibe. I’m hoping for a Leo centered episode, he hasnt gotten much attention since episode one

Does a podcast ever release a take you disagree with so strongly it makes you question everything you heard on it up to that point
#this is so niche and only interesting to other people who spend 10 hours a day listening to podcasts so i'm putting it in the tags#but s1ep3 of invisibilia about the blind guy who learned to echolocate so well he could ride a bike was fucking wild#the take was like. okay okay backing up a bit we all agree disability is socially constructed in some ways right?#ie people treat blind people in certain ways that reinforce an inability to function in society get jobs etc#they have certain expectations of people who are blind that can be limiting. right. so we all agree on that#but that was not the end of the take! the take was that because disability is socially constructed the solution is#to expect the same level of independence from blind people as you do from seeing people#and that also was not the end of the take because the way this man tried to accomplish that was forcing blind children to climb trees#this guy had achieved a high level of independence but in the process of learning to echolocate had knocked out multiple teeth#he was like 'the biggest barrier to blind people's ability to function in society is their parents' love for them'#because parents prevent blind children from exploring getting close to roads etc#and anyway i think that although parents may infantilize blind children more than necessary there is a strong financial incentive to#make sure they do not get hit by a car or break a bone#the solution of just getting blind people to act exactly like seeing people also seems odd#what's wrong with requiring help from others? why have we decided independence is the only way to function in society?#should all disabled people just be willing to injure themselves in order to get as close as possible to independence#in order to hold down a job which we have decided is the only way to earn the right to live#is there only one correct way to live a life?#it truly baffled me. i was sorting that mail going 👀👀🤔#anyway. this has been your podcast take of the day

relistening to part 2, some of how Arthur reacts to John taking control of their left hand kind of reminds me of some of how he reacts in part 41 to John's threatening to hijack his body.
There's just this way he seems to almost have the fight snuffed out of him. He gets quietly unhappy, as opposed to lashing out. I feel like that's not usually his fear/anger reaction to much of anything outside of specifically the scenario of "the entity possessing my eyes could take over my whole body and entirely erase my autonomy and there's nothing I can do about it". But his whole voice and manner of arguing shifts away from throwing punches to just saying "You Have All The Power Here And I Fucking Hate It. Do As You Will, I Physically Can't Stop You, But I Will Hate It The Whole Time If You Do." and then just. kind of giving up beyond that
#also kinda interesting to me how that seems to more-or-less work to make john back down in shame#very obviously in part 41. john sees arthur with the fight completely snuffed out of him by his own hand#and it really seems to knock it into his head the power shift and actual danger he poses here / how much he's just fucked up#in part 2 it's a lot harder to say#he's much harder for me to read in s1 in general because of how different his voice is#but I got the impression that he did clock that it hit arthur differently and really got to and defeated him#if I really want to read into it - the way he later responds to arthur missing being able to see trees#by saying he sympathizes after his own experience in the dark world so long#that read to me as some genuine level of connection - perhaps even something of an indirect apology for the whole body theft thing?#tho all his other assurances could be read as a practical/manipulative matter of needing arthur to keep going#if he wants to reach his own goals and all#so I'm not certain. I'll need to do more s1 relistening I've barely relistened at all and have a very weak grasp on it rn#rambling about blorbos#arthur malevolent#malevolent spoilers#malevolent part 41#malevolent part 2#just me rambling
