1. Do you prefer writing one-shots or multi-chaptered fics?

Starting with the tricky things! The eternal debate of one-shots vs multi-chaptered fics! One-shots, with their concise nature, often offer a refreshing dive into a little world. I rarely find myself growing weary – I usually write my one-shots in one sitting and then come back and edit later. Instant gratification, you know?

Multi-chapters are an entirely different beast. The satisfaction derived from creating an extensive narrative – I was euphoric upon finishing DWOHT – surpasses any joy I've experienced with a one-shot. But there's also so much frustration that comes hand in hand with these longer works. DWOHT flowed effortlessly from me – it was flirty and mirthful and open (I was in my element) – and was a blissful journey (bar the midnight edits). I could have kept going for another 20k if I'd given myself the time. That was my first "proper" multi-chap and I hadn't experienced any frustration. Then came Miles From Nowhere (my current WIP baby), which is hopefully destined to break 60k. In its infancy, writing it was a familiar bliss (probably because I indulged in crafting my favourite moments first) and then it got tricky. I felt uninspired for a month, kept only adding sentences at a time instead of paragraphs. I got really tired of it and put it aside for a bit. I'm hoping being away from Uni will help me relax into it and get back into the zone. I have a feeling that since it carries a slightly more sombre tone than DWOHT that's why I'm struggling with it. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

My point? Who knows... love them both for very different reasons : D

15. How do you write smut scenes? Do you get very visual or detailed? How important is it to be realistic?

Ohhh this is a good one!!!! The imagery of Lily and James' smutty encounters is always vivid in my mind, but I don't always delve into every explicit detail when transcribing my thoughts to paper. The decision hinges on whether I desire a graphic exposé of carnal delight or a more poetic depiction with a graceful time skip.

For realism... I'm going to approach this from two angles:

(1) I strive to portray Lily's orgasm as a realistic experience, emphasizing James' adeptness in eliciting such pleasure through touch. Most women need clitoral stimulation to orgasm and I like to incorporate that at every opportunity. James is a gem because he's naturally so generous - he makes it easy!

(2) My skill in smut-blocking is not impeccable lol. At times, I gleefully indulge my characters in acts that *might* be improbable, but hey, who's to say I can't sprinkle a touch of fantasy into the mix? I definitely lean towards indulgence – focus on the euphoria and flirtation – and sidestep the mundane aspects of the act itself.

16. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Share one of them?

Oh boy! A grand total of 19 WIPs with a myriad of short scenes to boot! It's my first day of respite from the hallowed halls of University (lol) and I've set my sights on unveiling Miles From Nowhere before I return to class : )

It seems like you want me to ask you a random question so, here we go.

There's a time machine to go back in the past and there's one to go to the future, which one are you choosing ? And Why ?

That's a really interested question, and a hard decision to make. But, I thought a bit about it and I think I'd go to the past!

Reason :

Well, in all honesty, I'd love to go to the past. I feel like there would be less work, and, more freedom I suppose. And even as, I sort of see the future going a bit worse. And in the past there were so many things that you just can't do anything here. Example- playing on the streets with friends. I don't expect this is possible anymore because of all the machinery going around.

Switching on to something reasonable, I'd go to the past and make the right decisions that I completely regret nowadays. I won't say the choices as they are a bit personal. And maybe even get into less arguments with my family, or dumb things like cut my hair without any experience.

In the past, clothing styles were kinda actually wearable. Unlike todays "fashionable" clothing, I just don't see the point. But, lemme tell you, clothes back in 2016 maybe even farther back, didn't really seem to look that good. But, in the 1990 and farther back then, they seemed interesting, and even those puffy dresses. I just really miss those types of days!

Here where I'm from, there are just so many problems in the country. And the streets getting fixed and blah blah blah. In the past, there was no such thing in this. Every road was perfect and clear. But I just feel like 2023 jus got worse.

Moving on to electronics. Children are on there phones 24/7, and, it's not like I'm any different. It could be a bit hard to stop scrolling threw phones or whatever. But, I'd just say before any phone was invented, kids seemed to be happier, playing together, creating games and just let the creativity flow. But now, I don't see any of this happening

Okay but do you think if have to, cass would let someone else die for someone else? Like for example, save a killer (joker perhaps) or an innocent person (maybe even someone she cares about) in a life or death situation??

And second, do you think cas would let David Cain die??

Interesting questions! I'll answer the easier question first: no, Cass would not let David Cain die. Even if we don't consider New 52 Cass canon (in which she was clearly devastated at Cain's death), she would never let anyone die. It doesn't matter who the person is, to her everyone deserves life. Well, actually, we can just see what happened in Batgirl (2008) #6:

So in any canon, including New 52 and the weirdness of Batgirl (2008), Cass would not let David die.

Your first question is a little more tricky. Cass hasn't been put in too many moral quandaries, and almost none since Batgirl #25. I think Cass would exhaust every possible method to save both parties in any scenario, even if it were Joker vs. an innocent person. But if it was really really down to the wire, like if there was nothing else to be done - I think she'd save the innocent person. Saving one person would be better than saving none. It would haunt her, though, and to her it would be akin to being part of another murder.

I'm not sure if there is an example of that kind of moral dilemma for Cass, but it would be super interesting if the new solo explores this stuff!

I'M BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!! Okay so honestly I have been very very inconsistent over the years with just disappearing for periods of time due to various things 😂 So it probably seemed pretty normal to most people.

But it felt different on my side, so I'm excited to be back in business. I took a month long hiatus! 31 days of not drawing digital art. Its not something I talk about on here? But I've been suffering from some serious long term Art Burnout for.... a really really long time. Long enough that I should've taken a break probably years ago. It finally got so bad that I could barely draw. I was scared to do it (cause it always looked "bad" in my eyes [i'll come back to that]) and doing it was exhausting and disheartening.

I talked it over with somebody and realized that the fear and anger and frustration I felt towards my own artwork was uh. Not Normal or Healthy. And I finally committed to taking a real break for once.

I still drew a little bit by hand? Traditional art has always felt like it has lower stakes for me (i don't often share it online, and sometimes I don't even share it with friends) so I did some of that when I felt like it. But Digital art was completely off the table.

I had put such an immense pressure on myself to make my digital art perfect, to make as much of it as quickly as possible to satisfy something. It wasn't fun anymore. I'm proud of what i've made over the years! But for a long time now the stuff I've been making was made while hating every second of making it. With some rare exceptions.

I hated my art! It was a combination of Perfectionism, taking in too many external expectations, and the burnout. If you hate doing something its kinda hard to love it even when you want too lol. It wasn't "Bad" in the sense that the quality was low and it was ugly! It was "Bad" in the sense that it was unhealthy for me to keep doing it at that point in time.

I'm glad to report though, that with my hiatus officially over as of Wednesday last week: I am once again. In Love. With doing art, and being an artist :)

I put off taking a break for years cause I was scared that taking a break would mean that I would never achieve all the things I wanted to do with art. I was scared it was a stupid and lazy thing to do that would mean I'd never achieve my dreams. And Also even though I kinda hated drawing, I also loved making art. Its a weird duality that I can't even really explain??? I hated it but I also loved it. I wanted it but I also wanted to run from it. It wasn't until I was more mature and had more clarity and insight (and unfortunately also until the problems got worse) that I was finally able to let go of those fears and just do it.

And I'm really really glad I did. It was everything I needed. And I hope to strike a better balance in the future with art. Taking more breaks when I need them, or just when other things have my attention like reading or Video games (Some star rail got played during this time xD)

From the outside things probably aren't going to be that different?? At this point I don't really have any sure plans to post anything I've been drawing since my Hiatus ended. I might or I might not xD I'm still a hobbyist artist taking things at her own pace, but I hope that it shows how much happier I am :)

Whumptober 2023 is being officially put to rest by this post btw! I was in major burnout when that event started, and I'm ready to just, move on from all the past expectations I'd shoved on my shoulders. If I feel like filling any of the prompts or going back to any of the ideas I'd come up for it I will! But I'm not going to worry about doing it unless the desire sets in. Thanks to everybody who's been so kind to me throughout my time on here as an artist! Ya'lls tags and screaming and kind words, the fanfic, the asks and the responses? Its been fantastic :) You guys have made me laugh, smile, and cry tears of joy. I hope from here that things only get better and sweeter! And if I have bad days again, that's okay too.

What may be unpopular opinion is that I even find Skadge interesting - not as a character but more as what he reveals from the fans - he is exactly the stereotypical bounty hunter and has the personality of how fanbase imagined Boba Fett to be back before Attack of the Clones came out (I'm old enough to remember the OUTRAGE Boba Fett / bounty hunter saga fans raised! They hated Temuera as Jango and thus, their dear Boba, almost as much they whined about Hayden as Anakin. Then they got fine with young Boba in the Clone Wars as he was portrayed as mean teenager but hold on what OUTRAGE AGAIN when Mandalorian/book of Boba Fett came)

So Skadge is what they wished Boba would be: cruel and uncaring brute - yet Skadge is universally hated.

You can even play your OC hunter as a cruel brute I have seen people play and choose options that make their OC hunter seem very alike Skadge, yet these same people will not like the companion. It's interesting, and revealing.

And I did not answer your question... The more I play the stories, the more nuance I find. But I can tell you which class has companions that to me are equally likable and interesting and it's imperial agent. They're all such an odd bunch - and that's saying a lot considering each class has odd companions - but they all seem like real people with their own goals and aspirations outside of player character whereas many other classes the companions feel more like drones supporting the player, while they have their own little side things going on, in the end they will stick with player. I like how imperial agent companions are always one foot at the door, the player character is not the center of their world.

It's an open secret, but everyone is afraid that they ever mentioned it openly (even if positive terms) that Giovanni would fuck them up, or even kill them if they were too mouthy about it.
