I thought I was all out of loose fic ideas and then that Belvedere vodka ad happened so may I give you football hooligan!Bond AU, with um my sincere apologies.
But Q accidentally gets yanked into a different timeline and (a) there is no original Q here - maybe he died as a child - and (b) Bond was never raised by his aunt when his parents died but instead taken in by a Cockney family friend and grew up in East London. Raised in a loving, if also boisterous, household, he skated right past M's 'orphans make the best recruits' metric and never got involved with MI6, or for that matter, even the Navy.
Instead he owns a chain of laundrettes as a front and makes most of his money via Crime TM -- and finds it absolutely hilarious that he is using a laundrette to launder money. Bond is openly bi in this verse, and seamlessly blends together camp with a dirtbag crime lord aesthetic. He is also a true loose cannon.
In the beginning Q is disoriented and also very alone bc no matter in how high regard he hold his colleagues, he has too much sense to go to anyone involved at MI6 with secret knowledge about their lives and a tale about how he is not from this timeline, actually.
I think he runs into Bond when Bond saves him from a tough spot - maybe he is getting mugged or falls into the Thames - and Bond seeing this attractive but also desperate twink, decides to help him even after he rescues him. But, he explains, the crew he runs with is no place for a posh Oxbridge boy like Q, so the only way to keep him safe is if they pretend he is Bond’s new boy toy (Q: “I resent that characterisation.” Bond: “It’s either that or the street, sweetheart.”)
I don’t have a plot yet per se but the story would feature a great amount of bewilderement from Q (including the fact that he is now running with criminals), a realisation of how much of the Bond he knows is a result of lifelong trauma and how much, including his kindness, is innate, Q’s skills with guns and ability to make anything explode coming in surprisingly handy, underground boxing which Bond is surprsingly good at, and of course, hot sex.
Euros would also be on during this time which gives Q more exposure to football and three lions fan culture than he ever wanted to, and I think, in the midst of all this chaos I could sneak in some ponderings on cultural disconnect and diaspora trauma what with Bond a Scotsman being an avid England NT fan.

I have had a lot of thoughts on the original story after listening to the Sherlock&Co "Gloria Scott" and a new headcanon just dropped.
Chapter 1: part 1 - part 2 - part 3 - part 4 - part 5 - part 6

thoughts, if you're curious:
As far as gay Victor Trevor absolutely got me, I don't think there was anything serious between him and Holmes. This all comes down to my reading of Holmes, who is (to me) too aroace-spec to get involved in a regular relationship (althouuuughh about Holmes, his sexual and romantic orientation and him discovering it I have had so many thoughts I could write a whole essay). He likes to have a default person though, someone who will take him as he is, and maybe even admire a little - now that's Watson, earlier it was Trevor.
And yea I think Victor got a crush straight away after their first meeting, maybe they even talked about this at some point. Maybe Holmes said that he won't be able to reciprocate this affection but if Victor is fine with keeping things as they are, then he is too. I like to think they stayed pen friends even after Trevor's leave.
I feel like I should emphasize this? My intention in the comic was to make Trevor visibly flustered because he didn't expect a young attractive boy (he's hopeless in my head), while Holmes simply didn't expect to see someone his age and so sincerely sorry.

Hi, it's the “love is a dagger” anon again! I hope you're having an amazing day! Firstly, I wanted to say thank you so much for making the gifset I requested!!
Secondly, I wanted to point out how, judging by their shape and design, the daggers Mobius had in his locker and gave to Loki for protection in 1x2 were most likely the same ones Loki lost to the Bifrost on the sacred timeline. The daggers, just like Loki, were once lost to time and space but then they were found and cherished by Mobius. It takes the entire metaphor to a whole new level and further cements the fact that the quote is specifically in relation to lokius. 🥺
You don't have to if you don't want to, of course, but a gifset of this connection between the daggers in the Loki series and the daggers in the Thor movies and how they relate back to lokius would be very nice to see, especially with how beautiful your gifsets always are!!
Hey again 🗡️ anon, lovely to hear from you!! The day has been a great one so far, hope the same for yours and had a wonderful time making your set 🥰
Completely agree with your observation about the daggers Mobius kept and tried to return to Loki being the ones lost on the sacred timeline, then considering what we know about how the TVA frowned upon personal artifacts or really anything at all to define individualization or connection outside work it means all the more for Mobius to have made a point of seeking out one of the few items Loki found comfort and identity in to treasure 🥺
As to your new request, first of all tysm for the compliment about my gifs, it's truly appreciated and I'd be more than happy to build on more Lokius parallels but (and I always feel a little sheepish confessing this LOL) I've... not actually seen any Thor movies, or hardly any of the MCU outside a bit of phase 1 + The Avengers and some clips involving Bruce and Vision so the irony of being caught up waiting for glimpses of Mobius for eternity isn't lost, trust me 😅😂 If you have any specific scenes or moments from the movies in mind though please feel free to let me know!

Lost Dimension art in 2024 I guess
Last night I remembered Lost Dimension and went into a rabbit hole reliving the fandom (it was really just me and a handful of others, nothing has changed since)
The last I drew of Toya was 3 5 years ago and honestly it was pretty cringe so I tried again
His hair is just as terrible to draw as I remember
