one of the funniest things is during all nine episodes luffy did not actively have one single plan except "become the worlds greatest pirate and find the one piece". he spent at max a month? less? at sea and everything he accomplished (taking down FOUR feared pirates in like a week, stealing the grand line map, finding a faithful and loyal crew, getting a bounty of 30 million on his head, etc) was mostly by accident. he stumbles into trouble and then proceeds to become the trouble

concept: tobiizu atla au with swampbender senju and fire nation royalty uchiha.

madara has the emotional arc of trying to destroy the swamp -> gets his ass beat by the swamp monster -> learns the swamp monster is an immensely gifted waterbender (hashirama!) protecting the swamp, and thus gains a good friend and a new perspective on the world.

meanwhile izuna has a side quest where, after getting separated from madara, he keeps getting visions. he assumes these visions are from poisonous swamp fumes slowly boiling his brain, and he keeps trying to set the visions on fire anyways out of frustration. Ultimately he gives up on finding madara and focuses on chasing down the visions he's getting of some annoying white-haired guy whos somehow intertwined with his future. izuna's betting hes going to kill the guy, mostly because he really wants to kill the guy.

(izuna is betting wrong).

Oufgh I just shifted my jaw, intending to lightly pop it (TMJ) and it was this loud sickening crack 😭 what the fuck was that
