I. The plot twist of admiration <3 (1st August 2024)
Bakugou Katsuki x Reader
Prompt! The girls are figuring out who could be the one sending Y/n all these gifts.
second part here!
A/N i’m ngl, i giggled writing this
It had been a few weeks since Y/N started receiving anonymous gifts on her desk: bouquets of flowers, boxes of her favorite sweets, and bottles of her preferred drinks. Each day brought a new surprise, and the girls in Class 1-A were buzzing with speculation about who the mysterious admirer might be.
Mina, who loved a good mystery, was the first to voice her theories. “You know, I think it might be Midoriya. He’s always paying attention to what everyone likes. He could be the type to remember your favorites and surprise you.”
Momo, thoughtfully considering Mina’s suggestion, nodded. “That’s true. He is very observant and considerate. But what if it’s Kirishima? He’s such a romantic. It would make sense for him to shower someone with gifts.”
Kirishima, who happened to overhear the conversation, laughed and shook his head. “You guys are way off. I don’t even know what’s going on!”
“Wait.. You know who it is? Tell us, tell us!” Mina pleaded.
“Hey! I never said that I knew.” He chuckled.
Todoroki was another candidate in their discussions. “Todoroki could be a possibility too, ribbit.” Tsu suggested. “He’s a real gentleman and always seems so reserved. Maybe he’s showing his appreciation in his own way.”
Tokoyami was also brought up. “And what about Tokoyami?” Jirou pondered. “He might have a knack for quietly admiring someone.”
Despite their numerous guesses, Bakugou’s name never came up. The girls agreed that Bakugou was far too brash and temperamental to be involved in anything so romantically inclined.
One evening, Y/N was in the dorms’ kitchen, searching for her favorite drink. She had just realized that her last bottle was missing and was feeling frustrated. As she rummaged through the fridge, Bakugou walked in, holding a plastic bag.
He noticed Y/N’s agitated state and raised an eyebrow. “What’s got you all worked up?”
Y/N sighed, pulling out an empty shelf. “Someone must have taken my favorite drink. I was really looking forward to it.”
Bakugou scoffed, then reached into his plastic bag and pulled out a bottle of Y/N’s favorite drink. “Here. I just bought a few. Don’t make such a fuss.”
Y/N’s eyes widened in surprise as she took the bottle from him. “You—”
Bakugou didn’t wait for her to finish. “Whatever. I’m outta here.”
The next day, Y/N found a new gift on her desk—this time, a beautifully wrapped box of her favorite pastries. As she unwrapped it with a smile, the girls began their speculations once more.
“It’s gotta be someone who’s been paying close attention,” Mina said. “Maybe it’s still Midoriya?”
“Or Kirishima,” Momo added. “What if the other day he said it wasn’t him was an act.”
“Or Todoroki,” Kirishima laughed and suggested, rejoining the conversation. “He’s always so polite and thoughtful.”
“Or maybe Sero,” said Hagakure. “He could be into you, who knows.”
Y/N smiled to herself, thinking about Bakugou’s recent actions and his subtle but considerate gesture in the kitchen. She decided to keep her suspicions to herself, enjoying the mystery and the warmth of the gifts.
As she bit into one of the pastries, she smiled. “I might have a pretty good idea about who it is.” The mystery of the gifts was delightful, but Y/N couldn’t help but feel a special appreciation for the person who had been making her days a little brighter, even if no one else seemed to have caught on yet.
As Y/n darts her eyes over to Bakugou In the corner of the classroom. Bakugou who was silently watching from afar had a soft smile on his face as he makes eye contact with her.

things I thought were canon in mha but are probably just things the fandom made up that are so deeply ingrained in fanmedia, coming from someone who only joined the fandom a few months ago (correct me if im wrong)
(also not caught up on s7)
- literally any ships (rip, i know, but guys, no student relationships are canon as of rn)
- eijirou and mina went to middle school together
- denki probably has (absence) seizures due to overusing his quirk/bc storms
- red shoe theory (the quirkless have an extra toe joint and bc of that they need different shoes. unfortunately there's only one type, so doesn't matter if you're 5 or 80, you're stuck wearing bright red sneakers ://)
- erasermic. just the entirety of them being together. also includes erasermic fam. still rioting from when i found out erasermic is not canon >:((
- denki has adhd + dyslexia + dyscalculia (and probably a seizure disorder)
- hitoshi is in the foster system (and was probablg ab*sed bc of his quirk. includes mentions of muzzles and quirk suppressants)
- present mic was born with his quirk, deafening everyone in the room when he was born (includes mentions of muzzles)
- the bakugous (mitsuki and masaru) are either the best parents in the world (super attentive and caring) or suck and are probably ab*sive (quirk suppressants on katsuki any time he comes home, neglectful masaru, aggressive mitsuki)
- izuku is autistic (while not canon, i wouldnt be surprised, this is coming from someone with auDHD)
- denki's parents are both pro heroes (theres two pro's with electricity quirks. maybe?? maybe not?? we'll never know)
- endeavor is homophobic (i mean... im not saying he's not-)
- present mic was adopted by two moms
- eijirou has two moms (this one tho, so cute oml im screaming)
- the bakugous run a fashion empire (katsuki modeled for them before UA
- rooftop trio's full friend group included nemuri (a year ahead of them) and tensei (iida's brother)
- iida is autistic (ngl, if this aint the case im rioting)
- tsu never had a childhood, too busy parenting her siblings while her parents were at work or traveling
- back to the bakugous, they were too busy traveling to do photoshoots (mitsuki was the model and masaru designed clothes) to watch over katsuki, so he taught himself how to do everything (chores, keeping tbe house, cooking, etc)
- eijirou has depression/was su*c*dal in middleschool, the only thing keeping him from toppling was mina
- some mutation quirks are there at birth, others come in later. ex: toru (hagakure) was not born invisible, she turned invisible when out shopping with her mom (just imagine thinking "oh shit i just lost my kid at the store" and feeling something grab your leg with the voice of your kid but nothjngs there. wild, absolutely wild) just imagine this shit with the rest of our resideng mutation kids (whom i adore) koji, fumikage, mina, mezo, mashirao (would you consider hanta, kyoka, rikido, and mineta mutation quirk kids? bc i do)
- some kids come from all over the world (i like the idea of it, just how do they all know japanese then??) one i can remember rn were like denki is a 2nd gen japanese american, yuga we know is from france, hanta is latino (i adore this)
- mineta is great!! or mineta is a r*p*st (now, hes gotten better, i'll give you that, but hes still not great and i choose to hate him so im moving on-)
- the sports festival ceremony triggered a flashback for katsuki, making him feel like he was back with the sludge villian again
- izuku and katsuki co-wrote all might fanfiction and individually at one point had all might stan pages.
- fumikage, hitoshi, and kyoka rotate between the bakusquad and dekusquad
- the emosquad consists of fumikage, hitoshi, kyoka, mezo, katsuki, and shouto
- ochako has dad sneezes (loud asf and probably back to back) and katsuki has kitten sneezes (cute and singular) (no i will not explain further)
- while katsuki is loud and "angry" all of the time, you only really got to worry when he becomes deadly silent
- if you want tea on anyone, go to either mezo or kyoka. they know all
- shouto had many firsts after the dorms were implemented: first time trying ice cream, watching a movie, listening to music, trying certain foods, etc. bc endeavor either hated it, or didnt allow him access to it bc he thought it was a waste of time
- momo probably has an eating disorder, regardless of her quirk, due to her parents pressure as a high society family
- quirk related symptoms/damage. ex: katsuki's explosions causing low blood pressure and hearing loss. present mics causing hearing loss and chronic sore throats (maybe even repeat tonsilitis??). hitoshi getting migraines, insomnia, and nose bleeds from excessive quirk use.
- aizawa transfered to the hero course after winning the sports festival his first year at UA (i think it makes sense, what with him training hitoshi later)
(this is what i could think of rn, theres probably more, add on if you think of any)

Danny sneaks into class 1-A to see what hero school is like. He's chilling, literally, furiously taking notes, and completely unaware that he's freezing the room over. Sue him, it's a new power. Tsu is already halfway to hibernation
The notes have very little to do with the curriculum. Instead they detail his theories on how each student would fair in a fight with his rogues. Latest theory: Mineta vs The Box Ghost. He's stumped
Todoroki: *minding his own business*
Class 1-A: *visibly shuddering, absolutely freezing and this close to murdering an innocent man*
Aizawa: Todoroki, control your quirk before I do it for you.
Bakugou: I'll show you hell can't be frozen over if you don't shut your damn quirk off
Danny's definitely NOT supposed to be there. In his defence, what Aizawa doesn't know can't get him arrested. "Ask forgiveness, not permission," is his personal favorite motto.
It might get Todoroki after-school detention though
Or it would have if he had kept his mouth shut. Who knew three small words ("My bad, bro.") from a quiet, disembodied voice could cause so much chaos?

Hi! I hope you can accept this request, Lee! Giyuu, Ler Urokodaki, a context would be that Giyuu visits his teacher but at night Urokodaki finds Giyuu sobbing in his room, for what he regrets, such as the death of his sister and his friends and also that he knows what some of The pillars thought badly of him (mostly Sanemi and Obanai at the beginning but then it changed but he didn't know that) and Urokodaki consoled him since I feel that Urokodaki is like Giyuu's grandfather or father and tried to cheer him up, with somewhat childish games with his points. more sensitive, (like playing "itsy witsy" on his ribs or "this little piggy" on his feet, Urokodaki is reserved but for his student he would do anything to see him better, I know that Giyuu was his favorite, along with Makomo )
Please and Thanks!
JJSHSKSHJSHDKSJS grandfather and grandson relationship 😔 I really like to think that Urokodaki was the one who cried his eyes out when he found out that Giyuu had survived, but that nevertheless, he will die at 25.
But in my AU, no one dies, I have my reason UnU
Tumblr media
If you want to know what Giyuu says, it's saying "grandpa"
Ler: Sakonji Urokodaki
Lee: Giyuu Tomioka
Nobody knew where Giyuu went during his days off, some thought that he didn't go anywhere, that he only stayed at his estate and waited for the days to pass before returning to action, others believed that he simply slept and did nothing more.
Not even Shinobu, the one closest to him, knew, every time she tried to visit him, she couldn't find anyone, the estate was completely empty, there weren't even any signs of Kanzaburo, where was he going?
'How is everything going? Today you have come before, you usually come every end of the month. Some reason?'
'I asked to change my days, just for this month. There's no reason', he said, before continuing to eat.
Mhm, every time Giyuu had his days off, he went to visit and stay at Urokodaki's house, it had become his routine after Giyuu left there and started living alone, it was good for him.
Although no one noticed, he returned a little more cheerful and confident, it was the best vacation he could have.
Urokodaki didn't have any problem with it, he loved Giyuu's company, but sometimes he felt that something was wrong with him, if there was no reason, then why did he decide to bring his vacation forward?
Something bad had happened, and he was going to find out.
'Giyuu, I'll prepare some tea and some onigiris, do you fancy some?'
'No thanks... I'm fine...', he knew it, something bad was happening.
Giyuu's voice and timbre were totally different, although there wasn't that much difference, if you were attentive enough like him, you would notice.
In reality, the food excuse was not real, it was just a test to rule out his theories. 'Everything is alright? Do you want to talk about...?'
'Everything is fine, it's not necessary. Thank you also for your offer, maybe I'll get hungry later and eat something. But for now I'm fine' 'It's okay, rest well...'
Urokodaki closed the door, but didn't leave, there was something strange here, he knew that spying was wrong, but Giyuu needed it, even if he didn't have the courage to say it.
A long time passed until a sound was present. He put his ear a little closer to the door, trying not to make a sound. If Giyuu noticed, he would repress that emotion again.
'Sa... Sabi... Sabito... Tsu... Tsuta-Tsutako... Nee-san...', so that was it.
Urokodaki slowly and silently opened the door, only to find Giyuu hugging himself, trying to find comfort as he cried and clenched his teeth in an effort to stop crying, thinking that he could wake up his sensei.
'Giyuu...' 'Huh...? Uro-Urokodaki - Sensei!', Giyuu turned around, quickly wiping away his tears, then shook his head and returned to his usual expression. 'You don't have to pretend, I heard and saw everything, is that why you came back?'
'I don't know what you're talking about...'
'Of course you know, I know you. I can even say that I have raised you as if you were my son. I know you well, besides, if you weren't doing "anything" why your futon pillow is wet and why are your eyes swollen?'
Giyuu didn't even bother to deny it, he just looked away closing his eyes, he couldn't do more after all.
Urokodaki took off his mask, approaching and kneeling, facing him, with his right hand, he grabbed Giyuu's chin and forced him to look at him. 'If there really is nothing wrong with you, look me in the face and tell me that's not the case.'
'There's nothing wrong with me, I'm fine...'
'Say it again.', Giyuu repeated it again, but the 3rd time, he stopped at "I'm fine."
He couldn't control it, the previous times he could do it because he really wasn't looking him in the eyes, he thought he was ready and he wasn't.
Giyuu hid into his shoulder, he didn't want to cry, it was enough trouble that he had made his sensei stay up so late just because he wanted to make sure he was okay, he wasn't going to give him another problem.
'Why do you keep holding back what you feel? Why do you harm yourself? Do you know that if Sabito were here, he would have given you a lesson a long time ago for putting yourself down?'
'If he were here, I wouldn't be like this... I wouldn't have to deal with my role as a hashira, because Sabito would be one. He deserves the title more than me...'
'Both you and him deserve that title, Sabito was strong and skilled for his age, yes. You may not have been one at the time, but you kept trying and now you are where you are, I'm sure that you and Sabito would have worked together to become the best water hashiras... ', Giyuu didn't believe it.
He didn't believe that Sabito would have acted like him, he probably would have been like Muichiro and only in a matter of months would have become a hashira.
He wasn't even half the level that Sabito would have been, that was what he believed, and it wasn't true.
'You don't believe anything I've told you, do you...?' 'No, you don't understand me... Sabito is and always will be better than me, if only I...'
'Time will not turn back, even if you had wanted to face that demon, Sabito would not have let you. He probably would have felt worse than you knowing that he couldn't protect something valuable to him from you. I want to understand you Giyuu, but you always close yourself off to me, help'
Giyuu wanted to say something, but probably the next thing that would come out of his mouth would once again be one more reason to scold him for feeling that way.
Urokodaki no longer knew what to do with Giyuu, he wanted to support him, but he wouldn't let him, he didn't know what he could do with him, he had tried to help him for so many years, failing.
'I think it would be best for you to go to sleep, this conversation exhausted me. See you in the morning.'
'No, we'll talk about this here and now, stop being stubborn Giyuu or else...', he stopped.
It wasn't the time, nor the place, much less the situation to do it, but he wanted to at least cheer up Giyuu for a little while, even if this wasn't the time.
Could that perhaps raise the possibility that Giyuu finally understands Urokodaki's intentions of wanting to help him so that he can take that enormous weight off his shoulders?
'Urokodaki-San? All good?' 'Yes... Then, you will foolishly remain in your current position?'
'I repeat that everything is fine, there is no need to continue chatting about this', perfect, it was all he needed to hear.
Giyuu sighed into another hug, he didn't hate physical contact, but if that hug lasted longer, he felt like he would cry and he couldn't help it.
Do you know what was good about Urokodaki wearing a mask? In that Giyuu would not know his reactions nor could he discover his intentions before.
'E-eh...?', he was startled when he felt a pair of fingers sliding down his neck.
*"Oh no, this has to be a fucking joke..."*, was what Giyuu thought before tensing his body and looking away while Urokodaki continued moving his fingers up and down.
'Is something wrong Giyuu?' 'N-no... Everything's fine... Ghk...'
He wasn't going to fool anyone, especially with that last sound he made when he clenched his teeth when those fingers that were caressing his neck slowly slid over his shoulders, simulating walk on tiptoe
'Co-come on, Urokodaki-San... This is childish... This...' 'If it is childish, then it won't affect you that much. I'm just trying to comfort...', good point.
Giyuu couldn't help it, but his cheeks turned red, he was right, if this tickling thing was childish then there wouldn't be any problem with him, he could control it, he had to control it.
'Ur-Urohokodahaki-Sahahan!! I'm nohohohot a chihihild anymohohore!!'
'Well, in my opinion you are. Maybe what you're having now is just a nightmare... So I guess I'll have to tickle the nightmares to get them away from you...' 'A-Ahahahare you seheheherihohohous?!', yes, he is very serious Giyuu.
Obviously, Urokodaki wasn't going to let Giyuu keep his sadness, even if Giyuu feigned annoyance, he knows it's not true, he knows him well enough. 'So Giyuu? Do you feel better?'
'Yehehehehehe!! I fehehel behetteheheher!! Plehahasehe!! Thihihis is so chihildihihish!!'
'But do you like it or am I wrong?'
Urokodaki laughed as Giyuu fell on his back while covering his red face and nodding. Do you see it?
Giyuu didn't hate this, he would never hate it, it was his way of de-stressing when he thought the rest wasn't worth it, although that last one was a secret, because everyone thought he liked them and that's it.
'Is that why you came back? Why did you want this wonderful moment? And don't try to lie, I know when you lie...' 'Okay, Okahahahay!! Yohohou gohohohot meee!! Stohohohop ahahaha tahalkihihing!! I-It's dohohoing wohohohorse!! Plehahasehe!!'
'Am I doing worse? How? You know well that I can be crueler than this, do you want that?'
If there was a chance to turn redder, Giyuu probably would have made it.
He wanted to agree, but he was embarrassed by the idea, although he didn't need to say anything, after all, a picture is worth a thousand words, right?
'So? Am I giving you what you wanted?' 'YEHEHEHES!! EHEHEHEHEHE!! OH MY GOHOHOHOSH!!'
'Hah, not even a "please stop"? Looks like I have a long night ahead of me...'

CHAPTER 111 OF TBHK!
I hate TBHK.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
MY POOR BOY, do not listen to your brother he’s mentally ill, he’s not in his right mind.
Tumblr media
I like how Tsukasa calls people weird when they don’t know what they want. Like with Kou when he was in the Red House.
Amane is weird, he says he hates Tsukasa, but he can’t stand when they’re apart. Such a weirdo, not knowing what he wants.
Tumblr media
For the people who say that this proves Tsukasa is fake, please reread the Red House arc again, especially the last part.
Like mother like son though, I guess. Their mother also thought Tsukasa was a fake.
Even though the change of Tsu is visible after being in the Red House and merging with the dark entity, he’s still Tsukasa.
Tsukasa and the entity resign in the same body, they are the same person now.
Tumblr media
Amane’s so sensitive.
He’s not able to handle the rejection. Tsukasa still wants to leave, even after Amane’s tried to tell him they can never be together again ( And he doesn’t want that ), his feelings didn’t reach his brother. Tsukasa still wants to leave him.
He’s not in the right mind, coming up with this conclusion is just showing his instability.
And, in the Manga Up translation Tsukasa actually yells “Amane, behind you!”
But now it’s kind of dull. Interesting, though?
Maybe Iro just doesn’t what Tsu to yell or scream or something.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I like that Kako says ‘so-called imposter’. He knows Tsukasa isn’t a fake, it’s what inside of him.
And the fact Hanako still moves to protect him and Tsukasa, even after calling him a fake.
Tumblr media
TSUKASA GRABBING HANAKO LIKE HE WAS GOING TO MOVE AND PROTECT HIM. OH MY GOD.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gay a**.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kako’s Santa Claus.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
What does he mean by ‘eating away’ at Kamome?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The entity is the root of the problem. But what problem?
We aren’t talking about the yorishiros…. The clock? Natsuhiko destroyed the clock though?
What is the entity doing?
Tumblr media
I’ve heard people had a theory about this. Congrats, you all were correct!
I didn’t know what the entity was at all. Now we have an idea.
I wonder how it got to the Yugi’s house then?
Tumblr media
It’s not good for supernaturals or humans.
Then, I wonder if it’s ever affected Tsukasa before. As a human, and as a supernatural. Or maybe it hasn’t, since they’re the same person.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now they’re in 1968.
The Clock Keepers are trying to prevent whatever happened here, and make a new presents.
They could have went back to when Tsukasa granted wishes to the dark entity under his house. They could have went to the time Tsukasa got back from the Red House. Even when he got murdered by his brother.
But, they went back to when they were just 12 years old.
What happened then?
What happened during that time, that’s supposed to be the root of why all of this is happening, whatever is happening?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At least Nene knows something is up, she always does.
I’m hoping she can at least do something to stop the Clock Keepers.
Maybe, that means working with someone to stop this, she can’t do this by herself.
Maybe, a certain Yugi? Tsukasa, purhaps?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is what he meant.

The ideal present
I've been thinking about the development of time and what would be the ideal present, are we really following the true present? Are you confused?
You may remember that Tsuchigomori said that Amane's future is to become a teacher, but he changed his destiny, something that should have been impossible. If we are following Amane's impossible destiny, it means that we are not in his ideal present.
Tumblr media
About the ideal present, what it suggests is that time is trying to reestablish itself. Amane's ideal future is to be a teacher, but the future was changed, that is, he is no longer ideal. We were seeing a bad future for Amane.
It was the present, the present set in a wrong branch in Amane's past. Tsukasa coming back is a paradox, and a temporal paradox is a flaw in time. That's why Kako said the problem is Tsukasa.
Tumblr media
How could he come back if Nene only knows him if Amane becomes Hanako? I mean, for Hanako to meet Nene, he needs to have killed 12-year-old Tsukasa and then killed himself, but for Hanako to live with 12-year-old Tsukasa, little Tsukasa needs to come back, and that will only happen when Hanako falls in love with Nene.
Did you see the confusion? How could Nene find little Tsukasa without Amane turning into Hanako? And Amane can only transform into Hanako if little Tsukasa comes back.
Here's the glitch in timing. According to real physics, paradox is a glitch in time, and therefore it is considered impossible. So we can use the grandfather paradox as an example. In physics they say that the grandfather paradox is based on you trying to go back in time to kill your grandfather.
But if you do that, you won't be born, if you aren't born it's impossible for you to go back in time to kill your grandfather. There is only one possibility of this becoming real, if it is in a multiverse case.
Tumblr media
You go back in time and kill your grandfather, but a new timeline is born, where you were not born and your grandfather was killed. If there is a paradox, then we are not in the multiverse theory.
So, in fiction we enter chaos theory, a paradox that leads to constant consecutive errors in time and that generate a catastrophic and destructive future.
The school's future is destruction, as we saw Mirai move forward in time, meaning Tsukasa returning is a mistake. Amane, Nene and Kou created this error in time, and it is trying to reestablish itself. Number one is the guardian of time, and having that title, his logic makes sense.
Tumblr media
It turns out that Hanako is trying the impossible to keep Tsukasa by his side, even though fate says it's not possible. This explains why Tsukasa must also hate rules, destiny is a rule without exceptions, if you are destined for something, there is nothing you can do to change it, as Hanako himself said.
Tumblr media
He knows the rules, but he wants to go over them, like he did with Nene too. As long as he insists, the paradox will continue and worse consequences will arise.
So we're following the wrong present, all because Tsukasa came back. The other future that could be ideal was for Amane to die and Tsukasa to stay alive. If Tsu had never met that creature, Amane would die of the disease.
But since Tsukasa was able to talk to that creature, it means that it was Tsukasa's destiny to sacrifice himself. Just use the same logic that Hanako applied to him and Nene. If Nene managed to summon him, it means she was close to death.
Tumblr media
Just like Tsukasa, the only exception would be if he came from a special family, like the Minamotos. We don't know about this in their family, so this hypothesis should be kept aside for now.
Based on the information we have, Tsukasa was destined to die and live alone in the red house, his sacrifice is necessary for the flow of time to move towards the ideal future, for Amane to grow up alone and become a teacher.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which means that we will probably now follow the twins' ideal present and how things should have happened from the beginning, that is, we will see an adult Amane being Nene's teacher?

Class 1A Dynamics (Part 2)
This is going to be consolidated, so I apologize for the long length, but it's going to serve as a conclusion as to why I believe Class 1A's reputation as a found family is undeserved.
In my opinion, the Final Exam arc and Forest Camp arc is when we start to see the cracks in Class 1A's dynamics, as well as their more problematic moments that don't match how they supposedly are as characters. We do get really nice moments of Momo offering her home and services as a tutor to a handful of her classmates (Jirou's interactions with Momo's mom were really cute), but that's it.
Kirishima hears from Bakugou's former middle school friends how they and Bakugou bullied Izuku for his Quirklessness... and promptly ignores it. Mr. Anti Bully hears that the role model he looks up to was/is a bully, and does NOTHING about it. Not even when Bakugou gets them kicked out of whatever place they were studying at and blames IZUKU for it does he do anything other than say, "Lol, classic Bakugou!"
One of the biggest moments, in my opinion, is when Ochako, Ida, Momo, and Tsu (I think it was them? I can't remember) have no objections to Bakugou backhanding Izuku. They hear Recovery Girl saying that they have no communication... and take it at face value. No trying to stand up for him, no saying that Bakugou's the instigator between them, nothing.
(To say nothing how Sero failed the exam for being taken out of the arena unconcious, even though Bakugou passed despite ALSO being unconcious when he was dragged out of the arena 🙄)
The actual camp itself was pretty nice in regard to student interactions. Shouji was worried for both Tokoyami and Izuku (Izuku looked so cute being carried by Shouji 🥹), and Izuku made sure not to place Bakugou's safety over Tokoyami's when Dark Shadow went on its rampage. Tokoyami in turn was perfectly willing to sacrifice his life for Izuku, Shouji, and everyone else's safety. Aoyama risks his life and position as the traitor by clearing a path for Bakugou to get to camp. It was extremely annoying how Todoroki had to keep telling Bakugou not to run towards the villains and not to make the poison gas worse by using his Quirk (collateral damage is a concept Bakugou doesn't give a FUCK about), but I guess that was nice or whatever.
Then came the rescue.
Shouji aknowledges how guilty Izuku and Todoroki must feel about Bakugou's kidnaping, and then Kirishima and Tsu get into an arguement about whether or not to leave the rescue to the adults. I HATE how Kirishima guilted Izuku into joining the rescue. Izuku had broken limbs and a high fever to the point of having seizures. He was unconscious for three days, and for him to be told, "You can still reach him with your arms!" when everyone in class knows Bakugou would (and DID!) refuse Izuku's help is disgusting. In theory, it's nice how they take Bakugou's ego and feelings into account when they decide a small team is going to rescue him (I'll have more to say on that later). But then, Ida tries convincing Izuku not to go... by punching his sick and injured friend hard in the face. Ida, what the FUCK? Did he ever apologize for doing that?
And then not only does Bakugou not ever thank Momo, Ida, Todoroki, Kirishima, and Izuku for rescuing him and risking their place at UA, Aizawa then acts as though the class needs to regain his trust (even though they had no idea the rescue team went through with their plan) when it really should be the other way around. Great father figure he is, right?
So they move to the dorms, and we get a really nice moment where Tsu tearfully apologizes for saying that the rescue team were acting villanous in saving Bakugou. This is all well and good, but then we get to the Licensing Exam. As awesome as it was to see Ida helping Aoyama secure a place in the final round, as awesome as it was seeing everyone defer to Izuku's judgment, it all was completely undone by the bullshit house arrest.
I've gone on and on about how it's my least favorite part of the entire story, but seeing 1A not aknowledge Bakugou's bullying of Izuku yet again really soured my opinion on them. Ida especially gets the brunt of my criticism here, because as one of Izuku's best friend, he should have figured that Izuku not only didn't want to break curfew, he's NEVER looked for a fight when it came to Bakugou. And then when Izuku apologizes (barf) for defending himself, they all accept it like he did something wrong.
I HATE it, and for a while, I hated 1A because of it.
Then we get some smaller moments between that and the stupid Dark Izuku arc that are pretty nice. They express worry and relief for those involved in Eri's rescue, Izuku encourages Jirou to not be afraid to express herself musically, and Mina teaches Aoyama how to dance before the School Festival. Everyone criticizes Izuku for running around and trying to get candy apple ingredients for Eri, and they make fun of him for getting in trouble after the Gentle Criminal fight, blah blah blah. No one cheers for him or encourages him during his mock interview with Mt. Lady, but whatever.
Then Izuku leaves UA.
Not ONCE do ANY of Class 1A consider why he left, even though he literally tells them in the goddamn letters he left for them. Not once do they call out Bakugou for being the actual reason he has such low self-esteem and self sacrifical tendancies. Not once do they consider having just his closest friends find him and bring him back. After all, most of them admit they don't really know Izuku on a personal level. They don't even stand up for Momo when he jumps down her throat for not calling him by his stupid hero name.
Nope, they all decide to just bumrush him and let Bakugou lead the charge.
They let Bakugou make fun of him, project his own flaws onto him, and not once aknowledge that Izuku is neither in the physical condition nor mental condition to be hearing any of that. They then quite literally beat him into submission. Sure, some of the classmates try saying nice things to him about how he helped all of them (Dark Shadow was so gentle with Izuku 🥺), but Sato tries guilt tripping him about Eri, which is just gross.
Then comes the infamous Youtube Apology, where Bakugou talks about Izuku's Quirklessness and how that made him lesser than Bakugou in his eyes. No one reacts to any of this, and instead of just letting Izuku sleep or getting him to the fucking doctor, they throw him in a bath like that'll fix anything. We do get an awesome moment where Tokoyami and Sato call out Bakugou for bullying Izuku again despite supposedly apologizing, but that's chump change, considering what all they put Izuku through.
And then comes the traitor reveal.
I don't blame 1A for being angry at Aoyama, considering how his actions put everyone in danger, but I think it's so strange due to two things. One, Aoyama was clearly coerced into being a traitor. His parents were the ones who made the deal with AFO, and Aoyama was obviously remorseful for his actions. Two, just look at Bakugou. He was the one who not only ran towards the villains in the first place, but everyone had to keep him from making everything worse when they were trying to protect him.
And yet who's the one that gets treated with consideration and kid gloves?
Bakugou.
I can't say anything about the Final War, because everything is so fucking messy, but I guess I will say how nice it is that the class protects the girls from Mineta's sexual harrassment and don't take it laying down.
To close off, Hori did a piss poor job in showing organic development of 1A as supposed super close friends and found family. They all deserved better than what they wound up becoming, and it's just really sad all around.

is kacchan the standard nickname for the name katsuki? i know it sounds cute due to the honorific -chan, but would it be proper to think of it as st like calling someone named alexander alex or since it has -chan would it be more like calling an alexander a more girlish nickname like lexi?
Oof this is a little difficult to answer. I think you're applying some general but not universal truths about the "chan" suffix here, right? That it's more likely to be used by or for girls. But that's not the same thing as it sounding girly. It also sounds young, childish. It sounds familiar and close. Some people might use it to tease others too if they're not close enough to begin with. It's basically a marker for a diminutive name, hence it works often like a nickname. Think of how Tsuyu calls all her friends "[Name]-chan," even the boys. She has expressed she wants to refer to everyone like this because she wants to be seen as a close friend.
To call it a "standard" nickname is the hard part to answer. I'm not sure what "standard" means. "Kacchan" is obviously a nickname that works and that other people would understand. In theory it could also be used for other people with names that start with "Ka-" especially if the "Ka-" is followed by a difficult-for-children syllable like "tsu." But there are also other nicknames in Japanese that don't depend on honorifics like "chan" and "kun" and "tan."
The way I've always explained "Kacchan" as a nickname to other people is to think of "chan" a bit like "y/ie." You have a friend named Robert but perhaps when he's young everyone calls him "Robbie." At some point as he gets older he may go by Robert again, but the people who always called him Robbie will likely continue to do so unless he tells them he doesn't want to be called that anymore. But if he doesn't care, he doesn't care--and he'll end up basically going by both.

Aimed the Killshot at Himself
Summary: Inspired by a prompt by @aconstantstateofbladerunner - what could have been, if not for you - After Inko divorces him, Hisashi’s goes to the press to say All Might stole his wife and son.
Notes: So, uh, started poking around My Hero Academia. I haven't really heard good things about the canon stuff, especially its treatment of the female characters and issues with Tell not Show, but I have found a lot of fanworks I enjoyed!
He got the news after class.
"Hey, uh, Dekiru?" Ashido said, peering at her phone. They had all stopped calling him Deku after Bakugo's third assault on him got his parents called and his former fri- bully expelled and his actions in Aldera revealed to the class, mostly through Auntie Mitsuki's yelling. For a while, it had been awkward in class, especially around the Bakusquad, but things had gone back to normal with a new nickname for him. "Do you know a guy by the name of Midoriya Hisashi?"
Izuku looked up from his homework, where he was helping Shouto and Ochaco pick out a pre-Quirk hero to do their project for history class on. Tenya had already picked Joan of Arc. He hadn't heard the name in a while. Not since his mom and All Might started dating and she had to sit him down to explain the truth about her and his dad's relationship.
"Uh, yeah. He's my bio dad," he admitted, practically feeling Shouto's eyes go wide. He had been so certain about his bio-son theory, especially when his parents decided to tie the knot. "He moved to the United States when he and my mom divorced." Because he had been Quirkless.
It had been a tough pill to swallow, even though he hadn't seen the man since he was four.
"Well, uh...he's claiming that All Might stole your mom from him."
He blinked. He blinked again. The words stalled in his brain for a few seconds. Not even just the fact that he was in Japan again.
"What?!"
Ashido turned on the TV, flipping it until they reached a news channel. "-foreign market manager, Midoriya Hisashi, claims that the former Symbol of Peace, All Might, used his influence in order to send him on a twelve-year post in New York City in order to seduce his wife Midoriya Inko, now Hayashi-Yagi Inko-"
A slam on the table made him flinch, turning his head. "I refuse to believe that!" Ochaco bellowed, looking ready to bolt out and find Hisashi to fist-fight him. "Zuzu-san's mom would never do that!"
Shouto followed her, little flames puffing out as he hissed, his usual blank expression taken over by anger. "Inko-sama is the kindest, pure-hearted woman I have ever met," he said. "Her first concern is for Midoi." Tenya nodded furiously, his own face turning red, clearly too upset to even bother about a lecture about how heroes like All Might would never sink to that level.
"Aww," Izuku couldn't help the coo even as he pulled out his phone and typed in her number. "I'll tell her that you guys said that." He had to check on her. He knew she was probably fine, but she had received such nasty words when she and All Might came out.
"A lot of people agree with you guys too," Ashido said, scrolling on her phone. Next to her, Tsu and Jiro had pulled out their phones and were smiling at whatever they saw. "People are speaking up against the accusation, mostly for All Might-"
"But a lot of people love your mom, kero," Tsu said, her shoulders shaking. "There's even a tag trending called #DefendMsMight, kero,"
His phone picked up. "Izuku?" his mom said. Instead of tears like he almost expected, it sounded like she was laughing. "Izuku, did you see the news?"
"I did," he said, his heart slowing down. She wasn't hurt, she wasn't even upset. If his bio dad expected this to break her, he was wrong. "Tsu was telling me that a lot of people were defending you online."
"We love you, Inko-sama!" Shouto called.
That received a sniffle. "I love you guys too!" she called, probably crying at the affectionate title. Her voice suddenly sharpened in strange, bloodthirsty, glee. "But Hisashi's getting dragged everywhere and I love it."
"...like, now? Or before the lawyers get him?"
"Yes."

Hey so question, something I havent seen when it comes to hazbin hotel yet- but what do you guys think happen to sacrificed souls? Like- do you think they go to where they are deserved when killed? Trapped in hell? In hell but can be redeemed or something? I personality want to make an oc who was sacrificed but I want to know everyone else's opinion on what they think happens. Personaly I like the concept of the sacrificed being stuck in hell even if they don't deserve it and then sinning in hell with feelings such as envy or wrath.

Top 10 mha characters I think are underrated
10 - Mustard. I love mustard, I know there’s a group of people who love mustard, but there’s not enough content of him for the rest of the fandom to love him too. If anyone has any mustard headcanons, throw them at me. Right now.
9 - the girls of class 1-A. The only reason they’re at 9 is because, out of everyone on here they’re probably the least underrated. But I swear we’re sleeping on all of them. Putting them individually would take up too many spaces but each and every single one of these girls own my heart.
8 - Monoma. He’s low down just because I know why hes underrated and it’s because his character depth was stolen from him. But he’s so interesting!
7 - Magne. Because I’m mainly in the LOV part of the fandom I do see a lot of Magne but still not as much as I would like. Please talk to me about Magne. Actually talk to me about everyone on here.
6 - Tokoyami. Need i say more? They’re so cool. I have so many headcanons about this funky bird guy. And the RELATIONSHIPS with this guy. Tokoyami and Dark Shadow!! Tokoyami and Izuku!! Tokoyami and Shoji!!! Tokoyami and Tsu!! Tokoyami and Hawks!!!!
5 - Geten. The only MLA character I actually care about honestly. I hate the rest of them, but Geten intrigues me. What is his connection to the rest of the Himura family? How did he end up where he is? Personally I like to think Rei has a sibling and Geten’s their child. I wanna know other people’s theories though! Also the fact he’s really quite young, especially compared to the other MLA members
4 - Tenya Iida. Lawful good class rep guy goes on a feral arc and plots revenge and people don’t talk about him?? Simultaneously a nerd and a jock?? Has an amazing big brother who I also adore?? The family drama with this guy. The body horror with him ripping out his own mufflers that one time. Like. Can we please talk about him more.
3 - Recovery Girl. Where would we be without this woman let’s be real with ourselves. She’s the only one with sense I fear. I’d like to think Izuku is pretty close to her now.
2 - Overhaul. I know there is an overhaul demographic out there however I am worried that they just find him hot. The way his relationship with Eri is just projection??? His connections to Tomura and AFO????
1 - Present Mic. People don’t understand him like I do okay. Please I’m begging he’s so much more than Just There Because Aizawa Is. I ship EraserMic SO MUCH but I NEED you to give him his personality back. Especially in rooftop trio stuff, he gets erased so much and people act like it’s just Oboro and Aizawa.

I just realized something (theory)
Tumblr media
So, Deuces’s mom’s name is spelled ディラ in Japanese. In romanji is this “Dira”. I am seeing it being spelled as “Dilla”, “Della”, “Deila” and a few other ways. But I think there is a bit of a joke here that a lot of people are missing. Possibly.
In Japanese, when a foreign word is pronounced with the Japanese language’s available phonology (sound inventory, or available sounds possible/allowed in a language), it often has to lose some of it’s sounds. For example “hamburger” is pronounced as “han-bah-gah” ( ハンバーガー ) and drops the hard [r] sound completely. This is also the case for other foreign words; diner is said like “die-nah” (ダイナー) and Twitter “tsu-ee-tah” ( ツイッター).
[r] and [l] are kinda interchangeable in Japanese (I am waaaay over simplifying this i.e. this is not totally accurate, but this isn’t the focus), and also has a complete absence of the hard [r] sound in it’s phonology, which makes the “rrrrrr” sound like at the end of the words above, but also words like “gRowl” or “Remind”.
So here’s my theory!
ディラ (Dira) sounds similar to ディーラー (Diiraa or Di-ra-) The lines in between the vowels and consonants (which I have represented in the romanji by doubling the vowels) represent elongation of a vowel sound (meaning that you hold the sound out a little longer than normal. It doesn’t have to be super dramatic, but it can totally change the meaning of a word when spoken if you’re not careful).
So what does ディーラー mean? Well, ディーラー is the Japanese spelling (which reflects the pronunciation of) the English word “dealer”. This usually refers to a car dealer in Japanese (as in a salesman or establishment where you can purchase are car). But there is another meaning for the word. Card dealer. Like, at a casino. Where they play games like Poker and Black Jack and such. Which use playing cards. The theme of Heartslabyul and The Kingdom of Roses. I think that, by taking out the elongations, this a subtle little joke in her name, like how the names of Ace, Deuce, Trey and Cater are all numbers and card suits.

Han Sooyoung shouted at Kim Dokja currently wrestling against [The Fourth Wall]. "This is your skill! Don't get swallowed up by your own skill!" As if she was trying to revise the recorded sentence, she grabbed onto the entirety of that sentence and shook it, hard. Maybe she was wrong on this one. Kim Dokja might be able to get through this danger all by himself, and her voice might never reach him. Even then, Han Sooyoung still left behind her own sentence on top of the [Wall]. Tsu-chuchuchuchut! Because maybe, just maybe, someone beyond the wall might get to hear her. "Han Sooyoung, the regression is starting again!" "Shut up! Hey, you too! Hurry up and say something!" Han Sooyoung's and Yoo Joonghyuk's figures began scattering away again under the bright rays of light. Before completely disappearing, though, the frowning Yoo Joonghyuk did say something. "Cancel your skill, Kim Dokja."
THEY WERE THE ONES TALKING TO HIM BACK THEN!?
Oh man, I completely forgot about that. Or, actually, I thought that it was Nirvana who spoke to him after it was revealed that he was inside the Fourth Wall / Library. I figured the mystery had been solved and didn't think on it any more.
BUT ACTUALLY IT WAS SOOYOUNG AND JOONGHYUK!
Wibbly wobbly, timey wimey!!!!!
Oh man, I remember thinking "were they trying to help him or hurt him by telling him to turn off his skill??" and getting all into the theories of it since he did need to stop the Fourth Wall but it also causes him extreme problems when he turns it off and I was so suspicious if the person "helping" him had ulterior motives.
Turns out it was just worried Sooyoung and Joonghyuk being his usual most logical self adkfjdlfksjfds.
Yoo Joonghyuk: You have control over your own skill don't you, Kim Dokja? If it's causing you problems then don't use it.
(Oh Joonghyuk, if only you knew...)
(...Granted, you're one of the ones who most wanted to see inside Dokja's mind and you literally tried to destroy his Fourth Wall so maybe you would have had ulterior motives if ever given the chance...)
