First things first -

Now to matters at hand -

I hear people have been checking in with Bianca to see where I stand these days. You can all rest assured that I am firmly planted in the same place you last heard from me. The same place I’ve been firmly planted since last summer. While I’ve had some slight shifts over time in my “whys” or “hows” of the current situation, I never doubt my “what” and for that matter I actually have a fairly solid “why and how” theory that I’ve been continuously throwing around since last summer and every month it seems to grow more solid in its foundation.

Did my vague-ness of that last paragraph confuse you? Simple terms: N & L are together. And why is it so secret? Well that’s a theory for me to know and you to maybe find out one day. That’s it. Those close to me know what the theory is.

It all comes down to knowing how to keep things in the group chat. 😏

With that being said, I have an observation of the fandom that I need to make express. People talk crap about the Jackholes and Tif & Co for being “stalkers” or “invasive” and “not respecting privacy” but why are we not casting as much ire on the Lukolas who are exhibiting the exact same behavior. The ones who are so desperate to “break the news” that they run to Twitter or TikTok or Tumblr to post something without thinking it through. The ones who are seeing research in discord servers and posting to their platforms. The ones who are delivering news of a personal nature about Nicola or Luke on their blogs without blinking an eye - and most importantly - reporting it as fact without any of us ever knowing that it is actually fact.

I understand that you online platform is your own personal forum and no one here is trying to police you but I implore everyone to take a step back and look in the mirror. This behavior is no different from the Jackholes and if you support it than I never wanna hear you talk down on Tif and her friends again.

While I’m on the subject of talking down - can we cut the crap on the Nicola hate? I’m sorry but Jake is gay. I’m also sorry but Jake is her friend and he’s not a character that will be written off the show. If he face “triggers” you or causes a “jumpscare” please unfollow him and his friends. And no, Nicola is not a bad person when you see her hanging out with them. There is nothing wrong with a “single” 38 year old woman having friends in their mid 20s. Let’s be honest, at this point most of yall are spewing hate at her because you believe something about her that certain online creators are stating as fact and so it’s hurting your brain to see her out and about so often. THIS IS WHY WE DONT BLINDLY BELIEVE THEORIES. And regardless, it’s her life. If it bothers you that much then please move on from the fandom.

The amount of judgment in this fandom from people regarding who Nic and Luke hang around. I would like each of you to submit the following: a detailed history of your romantic relationships, a detailed history or your friendships, and a picture of yourself (not a pfp of Nic or Luke). Once I’ve reviewed all that, I will decide if you have the credentials to judge at the level in which you do.

That’s enough rambling for now and I’m sure after this some of you will never wanna hear from me ever again. But what can I say - I call it like i see it and i tell it like it is.

For now, I’m just gonna sit back and let the chips fall as they may. All will be revealed in due time and tbh none of this is worth getting upset over. I’ve faced way harder in the past 6 months. 😉🥴 I just need some of you to remember that this isn’t a reality show required to keep you entertained on a regular schedule so it may be wise to pick up some other hobbies in the meantime.

As for me, you can catch me with my nose in the Polin fanfic when I’m not working my real person job and dealing with a slew of current personal issues. If it’s fantasy you’re looking to involve yourself in, than maybe head over to AO3. What’s even crazier is that there are even tons of fics about Pen and Colin being pregnant, you know if that’s the kind of story you’re looking to live in everyday. 😏

sometimes I can't help but feel that studios and networks set up plenty of diverse projects for failure nowadays, whether it's lack of promotion, low budgets and less protection towards creators and actors of color from racist harassment. Like no matter how hard people keep pushing for more diversity, studios and networks would still rather "pander" to those loud, racist fanbase

So at my job we have lots of diversity and inclusion training. I've only been there a year and I've been collecting the bibliographies of the trainings to try to disseminate here. One thing that I'm convinced that white people who are paper liberals (think democrats like Tswift) don't get is that just because they'll vote for the nonwhite politicians doesn't mean their white privilege isn't still a problem or their dislike of nonwhite characters aren't indicative of a deeper problem.

there's been studies where white people didn't have much opinion about nonwhites but then after more nonwhites had been introduced on public transportation their opinions of nonwhites soured, grew more negative. like seeing and being more exposed to nonwhites left white people with more negative stereotypes. and its like frustrating because this isn't just true of white people. I've encountered moc who don't like black female led shows like the acolyte or bpwf because Black women were front and center.

I feel like just how some women of color fall for terfy rhetoric there's also men of color who side with white male led media because their connection to their masculinity or their straightness is stronger than their connection to queer women of color. (if you'll notice both properties I've mentioned above had queer women of color a little more subtle in bpwf but still there).

There's so many religious people too that are against queerness in their media. that's another intersection that gets ignored alot too.

there's plenty of evangelical groups that are white supremacist in nature but others like mormons used to be white supremacist but now suddenly there's mormons of color? and like they're very much still cults that reject queerness you know?

there's A LOT of reasons companies like disney want to "seem" progressive by making diverse properties but then undercutting them by not giving them proper publicity budgets. these are just a few.

Okay, so it looks like someone is going around mass requesting again, which means this is a perfect opportunity to touch on fandom etiquette.

Mass requesting is EXTREMELY rude, my loves. It shows a considerable lack of respect to the content creators. I know that I personally love receiving requests or AU ideas, but when I see that you’ve sent the same ask word for word to multiple other blogs? Even if I was considering it, I’m certainly not now. If I’m going to send in a request, I’m going to consider the author’s skillset and whether or not I think that they’re the correct person to write what I’m looking for. For example, I’m not going to ask a known non-Swiftie to write a TSwift inspired AU.

Additionally, when you send the same ask word for word to multiple different accounts, it’s definitely coming off as you’re trying to pit creators against each other, whether you’re meaning to or not. In the future, it’s better to send in an ask to an author you actually want to do the AU and wait for a response.

And @bobgasm said it perfectly in our conversation. We get wanting to make sure someone can do it, but mass requesting is a sure fire way to make sure no one is going to touch the request/idea. And if you wait for one creator to respond, another creator might see their response and say “Hey! That’s actually something that I could do and want to write for!”

This is not meant to be mean, but it’s been happening quite a bit recently. It’s just basic fandom etiquette that’s fallen by the wayside, unfortunately.

how have three creators (cody ko, zillakami-- a rapper, and this tswift streamer guy) i've been made aware of been exposed for being pdffiles within the span of the past two weeks alone what is going on in astrology to make this all happen (just kidding about this but ppl being exposed this much is actually wild)

in hindsight, cody being exposed isn’t that shocking.. knowing what we know now about the man he is best friends with (not noel.. i think the guy’s name is corey?). he fills out a lot of stereotypes for predatory dudes, u know, youtuber, former frat guy, etc. i won’t pretend i never liked him, because i did! and it’s rly disappointing! but not shocking.

as for the other two.. 🤷🏻‍♀️ im just sad for the girls who fell victim to any of these men.

anyway i feel like the point that person was trying to make doesnt necessarily rely on lyrical parallels (i have no idea why they felt the need to compare lyrics in this case) but my main concern was just how blatantly offensive and invasive it is and what a bad precedent it sets to just baselessly speculate on the mental health of a creator when making a piece of art and how dismissive it felt to the manic reading of mania, which is one that, for better or for worse, is somewhat personal to me.

like sometimes creators lie or want to save face so you should take what they say with a grain of salt and feel at liberty to do aggressive readings (whicj i have done and will continue to do) but in this case there is literally no reason whatsoever to infer taylor swift has experienced mania and it just feels so dismissive to say that. it felt like someone whos read the analysis i and others have done on mania, and has copied the surface level aesthetics of it rather than the actual thought. pulling a tswift if you will.

i didnt come to the conclusion that mania was about a manic episode baselessly or through divine message delivered via astral projection from our father and patron saint of liars and fakes pete wentz himself, i based it on a specific interview after young and menace where hes specifically asked what the 'vibe' of the album is and he says straight up that it is mania. i based it on the poem he wrote to introduce the era. i based it, crucially, on my own experience as a person who has experienced manic and mixed episodes and on the research i did into bipolar disorder when i was fighting for treatment as a child. i based it on recognition. it just felt like it cheapened a lot of the things ive said about mania, the album and the state of mind, and frankly, it hurt me.
