This Hagen in my town closed down in 2015. For some reason the door was open when I went by today. Everything is still inside, untouched.

The new birthday cards series is about pyjamas and morning routines right?
We got Jamil without any makeup right?

A Jewish couple in Ottoman Jerusalem, 19th century.
The man wears a striped sudra as a turban, while most citified Arabs at the time wore the Turkish tarboush (fez). The sudra, either worn around the neck or on the head, is a rare, authentic piece of indigenous Jewish dress, that is believed to be thousands of years old and is referred to in the Bible. Today, it is less known due to cultural colonization and from Jews being forced to collectively remove them due to persecution.

Turban shell with engraved portrait of the Great Eastern, attributed to C. H. Wood, 1860
Depicts a broadside portrait of the British transatlantic steamship Great Eastern. Inscribed in script lettering "The Grt Eastern Stm Ship", "Launched 31st Jan. 1858", and a table listing the ship's tonnage, power, length, breadth and depth. Also inscribed mid-right "Wm. Jones", probably the name of the original purchaser.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I've converted this turban from Sims 2 creator maya40, when downloading please read the description.
I've recolored a shawl accessory by Sherazade that they've converted from a Sims 3 creator deltasim
Awellah: Includes a Turban and Shawl. This turban will fit the late Georgian era (1780s+ when Turkish Influence was prominent in the West), and Regency Era (1795-1837). The Shawls can fit any era I suppose, but the recolors of the Awellah Shawl are in paisley prints which were in fashion during the Regency era.
Temperance: Includes a Sheer Translucent version of the Awellah Shawl
BGC and Hat Slider Compatible
Below I've included some pictures of shawls and turbans during both the Georgian and Regency Eras.
