Good capture of Halloween! This was filmed on the aisle so you can see some people getting up and walking around at times. collaboration spotlight — Twenty One Pilots mashup by Kurt Hugo Schneider & VoicePlay

VoicePlay fans sometimes joke that the sounds these guys can make are so incredible as to be inhuman. This production took that assertion one step further. Kurt had them record their vocal parts as they normally would, then he sampled and remixed those voices to create something very cool. The result is more electronic than their usual sound, but there's no denying that it's an innovative twist.

This is a video I rarely watch just once, since it can be a lot of fun to pay close attention to what each guy is doing individually and how they all fit together.

The audio track is exclusively available through VoicePlay's Patreon.

Like so many of VoicePlay's prosthetic makeup effects, the coaxial plugs that turn the guys into input / output devices were created by Andy Wright at Makeup & Creative Arts in Orlando.

I'm not sure if they intended for there to be narrative significance to the placement of the plugs, but having Layne and Geoff's near their vocal chords, Eli's in his noggin near the parts of the brain that handle analytical tasks like reading and math, and Earl's near the Superman tattoo on his muscular arm all seem potentially symbolic.

A fan was inspired to draw fanart of the guys a couple months later, which they very much enjoyed.

VoicePlay had released their own full version of "Ride" earlier in the year as an installment in their PartWork series.

Layne and Tony had created a much sillier music video for "Heathens", featuring the Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus, as their Halloween offering from PattyCake Productions the month before.

The guys (including J.None) collaborated with Kurt again almost a year later for a rendition of "Waving Through A Window" from Dear Evan Hansen that was released in January 2018.

I have three younger siblings, two brothers and a sister. For the sake of their privacy I won’t use their actual names, but Tyler is 22, Joseph is 13 and Grace is 9.

I was born and raised in Ohio, born up North but raised down South so I’m like a weird mix of both, especially accent wise.

We have two dogs, a golden retriever named Marley and a Siberian husky named Demon, they're both 6 years old.

I am an honorary Aunt to one amazing little dude who I love and adore very much.

For many who lapped it up back when the 80s began, it still enthrals and holds in its eerie vice like grip, for others in this desensitised age of gore and cgi overkill, it proves to be a film unable to justify the love poured on it by the fans. Which is a shame. Being able to appreciate the craft of John Carpenter back in 1980 certainly helps to avert some harsh criticisms thrown its way, because Carpenter has achieved, pound for pound, a better ghost story on a fraction of the budget afforded big Hollywood genre productions that have been made since. That’s not to say it’s perfect, for it’s not, Carpenter himself has never been wholly satisfied with the final film, this even after re-shooting a third of the film after originally making a picture reliant on suggestion over presence, but with some smoke machines, a synthesiser, a game cast and a spooky revenge story on the page, he’s made a sub-genre classic. Romantic drama fans, unite. RomaDrama and Filmed in the South are teaming up for Halloween & Harvest Festival, bringing together fan-favorite actors from “The Originals,” “The Vampire Diaries” and beloved romantic movies seen on Hallmark Channel.

Set to take place in Olde Town Conyers, Georgia from October 31 to November 3, the event will “capture the magic of autumn and the enchanting spirit of Conyers, featuring a crossover of talent commonly revered in both fandoms.”
