Hi! I was wondering if you would be willing to share you're typesetting for  "In Which Merlin Reveals His Magic, Arthur Embarks On A Quest, And Uther Absolutely Does Not Admit He Was Wrong About Anything, Ever"? What do you think about footnotes?? I love it when they have some interesting information or some specific content.

Here I put the authors' notes straight from the publication on Ao3, but I also put some notes from @wolfuckingstar who translated All The Young Dudes into Portuguese (and I translated the notes from Portuguese to English, despite my desire to keep them in the original language ). They made such intelligent observations about references to 70s English culture and the history of LGBT pride, it would be sad to leave these notes out

I Want to be Good typeset

While working on a bind for Tractors, I have made a typeset for I Want To Be Good by @mightyd0lphin. I haven't read this but it was requested and so here you are!

The typeset can be found in this google dive folder. As usual there are both a word document and then the pdf of the typeset. It's formatted in 6x9 but I'm happy to make a copy in different dimensions if needed (its literally so easy).

Page Counts (signatures of 24 aka 6 sheets of paper):

Volume One = 504

Volume Two = 492

Volume Three = 360

The author and myself ask that you please print and bind this fic legally (meaning don't pay a company to do it for you). If you don't know how to bookbind but still want a physical copy there are resources for learning in my typesets page.

Remember to do a test print (print the first 12 pages on their own, that's the first signature) and let me know if you run into any issues.

BREAK TIME ARRIVED, used what little free time I have from the real world to do this cuz the jazz mecha pilot AU by @keferon ate me since its conception

I wanted to make a little something ever since I read the Blurr side story while waiting for the 2nd chapter and then I just saw it drop so now I’ll be reading it on the side (I’m not emotionally prepared yet)

and some extra sketches I made

Magazine is roughly based on F1 Magazine formatting, 2nd one is based on the Transformers Spotlights comic featuring Blurr

Ok, as a writer who ALSO loves using em dashes to denote a sudden cessation of speech, and as an editor, I am BEGGING whoever typesets the files for JLA's physical books:

Use nonbreaking spaces between em dashes and closing double quotation marks. PLEASE. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. I cannot handle multiple instances of an em dash at the end of one line and the closing quotation marks at the beginning of the next.

This is torture and I hate it.

Of Memories and Milk Thievery Typeset

So its here, a typeset for Of Memories and Milk Thievery by moonymoment (@mayescapade). I haven’t read this fic but it looks brilliant and is definitely on my list for the future. This did make it hard to work out an epigraph but I eventually decided on a verse from Exile by, mskingbean herself, Taylor Swift (and featuring Bon Iver).

I was unable to get in direct contact with the Author for this fic but some other posts on their blog ask people to please print and bind their fics legally (i.e handbind it yourself or commission someone for no profit. Also Jude, if you would rather this typeset was taken down I am happy to do so)

The typeset can be found in this google drive folder, read on for page counts and such.

The typeset is 6x9 inches as that seems to be the most popular. In the folder are the typeset as a Microsoft word document and a PDF depending on your file preference. Both are 168 pages (signatures of 24 as per usual).

Please contact me if you find any issues with the typeset or want any different sizes. Also lmk if you have requests for future typesets! Enjoy!
