yay!! however can i just combine those and add nikki bc all my scenarios involve different combos of those four😭 don’t worry i’ll include some rikki/melm and jt/melm specific ones too but……there will be combos. and nikki!

i think i’ve mentioned this one before but melm and john are going on a camping(?) trip and on the way there decide to pop in for an unannounced visit to their best friends (or rather, melm does while john shops for a few things). except when melm gets there rikki’s sick. so melm annoys him while he’s bedridden (couchridden more likely) and then the twins toddle in after being woken up by melmord being Loud and Himself. anyway melm takes his niece and nephew out for a few hours and just generally be the best uncle ever

an actual jt/melm specific one: the actual aforementioned camping trip! just them out in the desert in their small camper, looking out at the stars. a more introspective “we aren’t who we once were” type story where they’re just kinda looking back themselves and their relationship and ultimately feeling grateful that everything could lead to them being here, together.

OK maybe this is sorta cheating but. i wanna do this one SO BAD. in IVV AU. i wanna write/draw a back-and-forth between john and mal (the doctor) where they discuss things in the AU, and this means them bringing up rikki and melm (in so many words; they can’t say names because obviously they won’t break doctor-patient confidentiality, no). also the piece itself would also be reflective on mal and his place in the AU as a whole, but i digress. i love stories about people or relationships but from other perspectives LMAO i ♥️ unreliable narrators

a rikki/melm specific one, though not necessarily romantic, but the moment they find dio v’s mole, kevin, and realize who he is and what all he’s done. rikki thinks they should kill him, but melm isn’t entirely sure. rikki reminds him “hey, this guy gave info about you so this fraud could scam your mother. he did the same to me so he could scam my wife.” and rikki demands melmord hand him his knife, and eventually he does and, well, i think you saw how kevin ended up. but melm still feels. weird about it. lots to talk about in therapy this week.

i would just generally like to write some vignette type stuff about rikki and nikki being at john and melm’s house in some guys AU. and more prequel college days stuff. also. rikki/nikki/jt/melm one time orgy. just because.

bonus: i wanna write nikki and john hanging out without their husbands because who needs those guys🙄 also bc i think they’d actually get along, they both got that dry sense of humor and snark.

Wow. It’s been 2 years??? I thought I would be done with this comic in 2 months! I don’t know whether to feel worried or accomplished!!

(With months between each update, I understand why it’s been 2 years. I’m a slow writer and artist and well- many things have come up in my life that had to come first, like my sisters wedding! 💞 and college 😅)

I want to thank my family and friends (WHO DO NOT READ THIS COMIC- THANK GOD) 💕 AND I want to THANK YOU! The readers! 💐💐

You guys are relentless! I’m as impatient as traffic and yet you guys wait for weeks or months at a time for like 4 pages?! You guys don’t even complain!!! I truly want to thank you all for that ❤️ it helps me so much. Being busy and getting burnt out are common and it helps me feel relaxed that i'm not on a timer. Literally tho- you guys keep this comic chugging I swear. Tysm 💐

My feelings with this comic are actually so complicated. On one hand I hate looking at my older art because GOD IT LOOKS SO OFF I want to stab it, and then on the other hand I am so so proud of myself for even continuing it this far. Ngl the weird route has been one of my favorite parts of this comic. It took me FOREVER to figure out an ending, but damn do I still get chills >:) hehe.

I’m still miffed that I named this project “Deltarune: The Chara Timeline” I could have gone for something so much COOLER. Doesn’t help I use like 7 different titles for it either. We got Deltarune the Chara timeline, Deltarune chara timeline, THE Chara timeline, chara timeline, Ct??? Man,,, I’m crazy. I take after my family so hard. We have 3 names for each of our dogs 💀.

Comic/Animation Tip i have learned. It is VERY GOOD to make the character relatively simple in design. Shape language is also super important, ((but I never really got around to doing that before I was half way through the comic, woops.)) These things can make ur process go by so much faster. This whole comic has been a HUGE learning curve. LIKE OH MY GOD. I had to learn how to draw backgrounds, write dialogue, plan a story, learn how to draw fast and draw noses (which god damn I really still can’t). And I had to learn how the heck to squeeze art into a tiny page and make it not look grainy. It's intense!

Anyways.... this has been such an awesome opportunity! Thanks Toby Fox!

I totally ran out of “art time” for my iPad and wanted to finish this today. So it’s a bit rushed. I’ll add weapons and possibly the other characters later :)

Depends on the kind of relationship you have with Bonten. What are you to the organisation? But let's say that you're quite close to them and worked with them in underground too so they really don't have negative impression of you.

SANZU would play poker with you (if you're good at it) to pass time and talk about your miserable lives. Turned out he tried new drug on one of the traitor, which caused the memory loss. You were quite intrigued, to be honest. Drug that caused amnesia? Pretty useful.

Sanzu and you would bet on something else than money, hence why KOKO wasn't playing, since betting on money was basic already and being already rich, money didn't seem impressive at all anymore. So you two would bet on something more...Exciting (I'm letting you imagine) which would have RAN joining.

Either Ran or KAKUCHO would buy you drink. What's the point of going to casino if you can't even have a drink, to be honest.

There's no way any of Bonten members or you would win against Sanzu in poker game, hence why you decided to play Craps, which MOCHI happily agreed to. Turned out you and Mochi were pretty good at it, which definitely boosted you ego up.

Ran would be the most chatty with you, followed by Sanzu. Definitely not Mikey tho, I can't even imagine him going to Casino. He'd probably be in his apartment BUT let's say he was there, he'd just drink alcohol and listen, hardly uttering any words. He's not very good in casino games too soo...Maybe he'll be lucky in slots.

Kakucho and RINDOU are definitely good at Sic Bo. Rindou would also play Roulette. You may think that they're playing lot of games but, I mean, why not? Unlike other people, they haven't come to casino for money but for fun. They'd try many games! So should you. Mochi and Sanzu definitely would urge you to.

TAKEOMI is most likely good at Craps and Baccarat, tho he lost to Mochi and you in Craps. Too bad for him I guess. Meanwhile Koko would be insanely lucky in Roulette. It's crazy really. As if he was God's favourite.

Now to talk about conversation, they all would be quite chatty with you and each other. The conversation won't be serious, just some snarky and sarcastic comments here and there but otherwise--pretty humorous.

Okey okey, some flirty remarks from Ran maybe. If Sanzu took liking in you, then he would too.

Rindou would be pretty awkward with you at first but after playing some games with you such as Sic bo, Keno and Blackjack, he wouldn't have any problem chatting with you, rather he'd become quite bold.

While Kakucho would remain respectful and all of his focus would be on games, also pretty annoyed at Sanzu but wouldn't show it MUCH. Would just smile if he lost to you, he'd just take it easy.

Can't say same about Sanzu, who's not used to losing in casino games. He'd be frowning and sulking, asking for another round.

Ran and Rindou would, like, compliment you when you would win. Mochi would also be frowning and asking for another round. While Takeomi would use "I'm too old for these games. Back in my days..." at that time and would get Sanzu's snarky comments delivered on silver platter which would cause small argument between two. Koko would rarely be losing, actually. If he does tho, he'd just frown and play another round or another game.

If I had to name the people who'd be the MOST chatty with you l, that'd be Sanzu, Ran and Koko. Probably Mochi and Rindou too. Takeomi just slightly ig.

You'd have sm fun with Haitani Brothers, Sanzu, Koko and Mochi tbh!

"I'm telling you right now, ask them to go to homecoming with you." The boy shrugs, one hand loose around the strap of his backpack.

"I can't!" Phoebe exclaims. "How do I even ask that? What would I even wear? What if they say no?"

Podcast gives her a deadpan look. "They literally have the biggest crush on you, they're gonna say yes. Two, we'll find you something to wear. Three, I'll be your wingman." He smiles.

"Fine..."

Weeks of brainstorming up a plan lead up to today. Thankfully, the mutual friend didn't make your antisocial crush ask you to go to homecoming with her at school or with some corny sign and flowers and allow all the idiots you hated to watch. Thank the lords for Podcast understanding his friends' boundaries and comforts, he was a godsend.

Phoebe, dressed in overalls over a green floral patterned shirt, carries a bouquet of small lavender flowers and daisies, occasionally smelling them to try and ease her mind. Podcast rests a hand on her shoulder, walking her down to your house so she could prom-pose (homecoming-pose didn't really roll of the tongue) to you as you hung out. As they approach, he takes the flowers from her and hides behind a car next door, peering from behind as he watches her ring the doorbell.

You step outside wearing a casual outfit, smiling as you see her curly brunette hair and dorky circular glasses. "Hey, Pheebs"

"Hi!" She quietly smiles, "Uh, would you wanna like, walk around town with me? I found this cool little flower field and thought of you, I'd like to show it to you cause I thought you would think it was cool-" She begins to ramble.

You cut her off, placing your index finger over her lips, "I'd love to go," you smile.

"Oh, okay!"

Podcast smiles, whispering in accomplishment as he essentially stalks you all the way toward this flower field Phoebe was talking about. Phoebe often glances over her shoulder, trying to make sure Podcast was still present but casually hidden.

She smiles, trying to hide her nervousness.

"Wow, this place is gorgeous" You mutter, looking over the acres upon acres of flowers, organized in rainbow order. From roses to irises, they had it all. Whoever owned this was certainly working hard to plant and maintain all these flowers.

"Cool, huh?" Phoebe asks, biting back her giddy smile, trying to fight off saying "not as cool as you though"

You nod in response, attempting to try and calculate how many flowers were even there. Probably enough to fill up a football field.

Podcast hides in a row of large rose bushes, holding the flowers he and Phoebe bought for this special occasion.

"Wanna go check out that bench?" Phoebe asks, praying you'll say yes.

She refers to the bench in the middle of the field, made of some white concrete or ceramic, a large heart behind it.

"Sure, yeah"

Podcast silently and sneakily follows you two, trying to keep his cover between the flowers. He works his way behind you two as you sit down, looking for the sign that Phoebe was ready for the flowers.

You talk for a while, enjoying the view, while Phoebe tells you a bunch of facts about flowers, which you listen too. She was a walking textbook. As you glance away, looking over all the flowers again, she quickly turns back and holds up two fingers, signaling to Podcast.

He quickly sneaks over, handing her the flowers before running back to his previous spot, closely watching the following interaction. You turn back to look at Phoebe, seeing her holding a bouquet of flowers.

Before you can ask where she pulled them out from, she opens her mouth to speak, still buffering to search for the words she wanted to say, that she rehearsed, to you.

"Uhm, would you wanna go to homecoming with me? As friends, maybe, or more if you want?"

She's frozen, absolutely paralyzed as she awaits your answer.

You smile, "Yeah, sure"

She uses all her willpower to hold back jumping up and celebrating, knowing Podcast was a few yards away silently congratulating her.

"Okay, cool," She grins, handing you the flowers.

So glad someone is talking about Luke and Clary. I love there relationship so much. Overall I think so many of the characters in tmi become disregarded as the series goes on!!! While I don’t think Luke will be any kind of major character in TWP, i definitely think he will have some kind of role. We know Dru gets in a lot of trouble, I can also see him being present in Ash’s life one way or another. Not only is he Ash’s step grandfather (LOL) but I think Luke is someone who constantly has a positive impact on peoples lives, and I think that’s something that will be seen in TWP.

As for Maryse’s family, I’d love for them to make some kind of come back. I feel like it could be something fun. I also think it depends on the age of the kids hahah! Either way, if he does make a comeback I hope the cousin is a girl. Enough with the male cousins! I need to see another Maryse and Isabelle lightwood. However, I don’t think they will make a comeback. As Cassie said in the first book where not spending alot of time in any school or institute setting, so as for the first book I don’t think we will see them. 😭😭😭

Do you have any marisette as parents headcanon? Or if you think they'll have children at all

ooo Marisette headcanons 😍 okay so I have three sets of headcanons here: one for canon, one for my OFEAverse, and one of modern AU bc well....I just think about them too much 😔

Post-canon I do think that Marisette would still be quite the prototypical bourgeois French family and have at least 1-2 children, but not for a while. They would have to settle some shit first (re: Marius' treatment of Valjean) and I'd like to think that Cosette would take this chance to explore and investigate more about her past and her mother. Once they're ready I'd imagine them having a son and a daughter, and Cosette will raise them on stories about their family – her father, her mother etc. while Marius would raise them on stories about his friends. I truly, truly believe Marisette would be at the barricades of 1848, and their children will learn all about it.

In OFEAverse (my fic where Cosette and Enjolras are siblings), they would only have a son because [REDACTED] and once again, he would be raised with so much love and learn a LOT about the uprisings that his family has taken part in. He looks like Marius, but with Cosette's eyes, and he's an absolute Mama's boy lol (but who can blame him; his mother is Cosette!).

Modern AU is a little trickier; I'm not sure if Marisette would wanna be parents. They give me fur parents vibes, so I'm sure their house would be filled with lots of weird pets before they even consider a child. If they do ever decide on kids, it'd be years after their marriage and probably only just one.

As to how they'd be as parents in general: all of their children will have Marius wrapped around their little fingers. He'd take any opportunity to give them little trinkets and presents, and shower them with so much love. He wants to be with them in a way that he'd always wished he could be with his father! His children help him grow to be a better person. Cosette would have a good understanding of the best type of parent to be, emulating Valjean's parenting, but would be a little less protective, knowing how important it is to let them explore the world themselves! Marius, meanwhile, would be an absolute worrywart about them.

So I feel like I should prep this by saying before I figured out about LMK I was super into OPS's jttw series. So I made Zhao with the context of the book, and the book doesn't sugar coat things so Zhao's backstory is a bit uhhh, mature? There's no nsfw stuff but there is a lot, lot, loottt of angst (even though the backstory is kinda "simple"), so forgive me :'(

I did change up her backstory a bit for the LMK version because it is a kids show and I don't feel like the creators would stick with the dark tone of the original. Whenever I write OCs for sertant shows I try to write it with the context of "How would the creator tackle this if my oc was a Canon character?" Yk? You don't write a depressed, emo, Greek hero for a light hearted magical girl show.

So ye, this first segment will be her JTTW backstory sum-up and I'll note what is changed in the LMK version at the end👍

JTTW/original backstory(this is long, read at your own risk)-

-Zhao wasn't raised in the best household.. Not only was her father a total womanizer with 3 wives (at the time of her birth, by now he has 7) and who knows how many mistresses, but her elder family member were pretty verbally abusive. I mentioned before but Xiaotian and Biao-Qi (Zhao's father and grandfather) wanted Zhao to be born as a male because in their clan its essential for the first born of every generation to be a boy, so when they found out about Zhao being a girl they were really salty and thought of her as "The disgrace" of the family. (hence why Zhaoyan is a name generally given to Chinese boys, which yea Xiaotian is the type of douche-bag to chose the name of the child at the start of his marriage without the mothers approval)

-Zhao was the one basically raising her younger siblings because her parents couldn't be bothered to, Pangfua (Zhao's mom) couldn't even bare to look at Xiaotian's face so the last thing she cared for was some random children of him and his mistresses, and Xiaotian's other wifes didn't really care for the children either. However, Zhao ADORED her siblings because she was always good with little kids. But as time went on and on, with so many children coming in to the household she started getting tired, but what could she do? At the time she was barely a teenage girl, if she complained to her father she could legitimately be at risk to lose her head. Like I said, Xiaotian couldn't care less about Zhao, he doesn't give a damn if she likes taking care of her siblings or not.

-Eventually Zhao grew too tired of her family, and decided to leave. This might seem selfish but holy frick, the girlie felt like a maid, and it's not like she doesn't care for her family, it's that they couldn't care less about her. All of her siblings were old enough to take care of each other and the other family members treated them well, why shouldn't she be able to "go live her own life"?

- The first place she went was to a temple dedicated to the Chinese tiger spirit- Hu Ye. The reason she went to him specifically was because he was sort of the protector/symbol of Zhao's family (for context think about how Apollo was the protector of the Trojans in the Iliad), she prayed to him all night, she asked humbly to become a Jade Maiden that serves Guan Yin (because that was probably the best option. Also just so you have context- Hu Ye blessed the girls in Zhao's family with a healing gift. So basically they could heal any illness, wound, missing limb etc...). But to her surprise Hu Ye saw what she did as "unforgiving". You shouldn't leave your family who loves you so much, not cool >:( (cut him some slack tho, whenever to family would worship him they would make them self's seem like the most perfect people ever). And so in short he gave her flaming orange hair so she never forgets that she is a Tiger Maiden (bcz orange=tigers and he just be petty like that bro).

-Eventually she went to the woods but she was found by Lánhūa- a forest spirit. Lánhūa took pity on her and decided to take her in as one of her nymphs. Because Zhao had the healing gift she was a great addition to the palace Lánhūa lived in, Zhao was always the one making sure everyone was healthy and the worst someone suffered was a common cold, and even those wouldn't last long.

-At the early stages of the jttw Monkey actually did try and convince Zhao to come with him and the other pilgrims, she would be the one taking care of Tripitaka and making sure he stays healthy. Zhao refused at first but after some time she agreed. Her and Tripitaka were very close because they were both kinda the "sane ones" of the group and Zhao took her position very seriously. Sanzang eventually noticed that this was a bit weird considering how layed back the other pilgrims were, so he confronted her and Zhao opened up to him. And that's how I'd show her backstory in the book.

So in short: Girl leaves abusive family and prays to god, god makes her a ginger and she gets adopted by a hot forest spirit. A monkey befriends her and convinces her to give free health care to his friend **emotional**

Holy crap that took so long to write/ Notes on how her backstory would probably be changed in the lmk version:

In the lmk version I think they'd tone down how bad her family was just a bit, again it is a kids show. I think the start would generally be the same but that Hu Ye would grant her wish. But instead of a disciple for Guan Yin I think they'd change it into a Peach Maiden, so that she could meet the brotherhood and befriend Wukong like she did in the original backstory. They'd probably remove Lánhūa as well (because she is a very minor character in Zhao's backstory). So yea in short of what I think the creators of LMK would do with her character: -Hu Ye grants her wish of becoming a Peach Maiden. -Orange would be her natural hair color(bcz tigers woo). -I honestly think they'd give her a sort-of survivor's guilt because of the whole "leaving your family" thing instead of "Ama give u tiger hair so you never forget how you left your family >:(" -She meets the brotherhood through their lil' rebellion -Healing powers would probably be toned down a bit so there's still some risk

Haha, I also hope this is somewhat coherent, but I am very bad at assembling my thoughts into something that resembles a narative, but here are some thoughts that has been carouseling my mind:

Recently, I have been thinking abou beyblade fantasy AU's: A grant adventure, a world fractured into many fighting factions (some human, some elven, some with magic powers and so on), soon to be overshadowed by The Great Dark Lord Nemesis™️

The legendary bladers are propheciesed to save the world, and as of now most of them traveling together on some great mission to raise an army to defeat Nemesis or smth (everyone except Ryuga? Have a very hard time imagining him going anywhere with anyone). However the legendary bladers are NOT a cohesive unit, they are from different factions and have a hard time trusting each other 😔 </3

Along with this, I've been thinking a lot about armor: how to make it functional and actually protective, while still evoking the feel of the bladers original outfit... (ok actually I've mostly I have been thinking about how to make armor, that looks like a crop top with a big billowy coat for Kyoya, but at the same time actually protect his vital organs)

My solution for now is probably layering some chain mail under some cut up shirts, but then I ran into my second problem: that much armor is heavy, noisy and warm (since you'd also need layers beneath the chain mail), would an adventurer even wear that much armor on a day to day basis?... So now I am trying to come with a way to balance that out... (Actually after writing it down tho, Kyoya specifically would absolutely see wearing heavy armor as a great training exercise...)

Also bc Kyoya gets special treatment as my favorite character, and I think he could use more "great-destiny-I-didn't-pick-and-thus-don't-want" issues: Mayhap his mother is the heiress to one faction, but she was driven away by an usurper, who is now out to kill her and her descendents? (No scars from *accidently* falling windows in this AU)... (Also maybe the usurper is paying Chris to take care of her descendents?)

fantasy au my beloved!! the idea of the legendary bladers roaming around the lands and trying to rally an army while constantly bickering with each other is so funny. i have to agree that ryuga probably wouldn't travel with them but! imagine the kenta & ryuga interactions in this scenario :(( kenta tries to learn magic from ryuga who is so so good at it but unwilling (and without the patience lbh) to teach. kenta just stares at him really hard and tries to learn by observing ryuga do impossible feats of magic. ryuga acts annoyed but he also loves the attention lol

plsss kyoya in fantasy armor is simply amazing and badass. id love to see it. i know its impractical but i do imagine him in a chainmail crop top or something similarly unnecessary but stylish. anything for the glam. could also imagine some kind of corset top-like leather armor? i think leather armor would be the go-to for adventurers anyway.

kyoya is the perfect protagonist for a "refusal of the call" trope lmao. it would be a "fuck this, im gonna do my own thing" situation with him. every. time. "i don't care that you're a god or fate or whatever and you can't tell me what to do."

d-did you just make kyoya/chris possible in this au?? FJFDHSSJS maybe it's just my permanent brainrot for this ship but! chris keeps failing to assassinate kyoya but he's come close a couple of times and also kyoya's scars being a result of one of chris' assassination attempts and also they know each other by now after all this time and they probably keep bickering while trying to kill each other which is so unprofessional but it's almost like they're friends and do they really actually truly want to harm each other at all at this point?

gojo is canonically down to watch basically anything so i feel like we would hunt down the most awful/low quality/unintentionally hilarious movies we can n just lose it laughing. ALSO…. im not super into reality tv but i think gojo would LOVE that shit. obsessed w it. i would watch his silly little reality tv shows just to make him happy <333 i feel like he would have genuine beef w people on the show too PHDKDJD LIKE DAMN IS IT REALLY THAT SERIOUS… but it is. he’s out for blood.

….. also this is me being self indulgent lets be clear but: some part of me thinks gojo would love musicals <33 its the would-be theatre kid in him. i love and cherish the legally blonde musical and i know he would too. he sings along obnoxiously loud which would be super funny if he was tone deaf but sadly he has a beautiful voice LMAOO

NOW as for shoko …… she loves horror movies. loves them loves them. i think she’d actually prefer really bad horror movies though. bc she thinks the over-the-top effects are so funny… either way im suffering bc im a scaredy cat LOL. but i feel like she’d like that too <33 (i would cry and she would comfort me by explaining how splattered brains ACTUALLY look and that would make me cry more)

AH ALSO … i have literally no idea where this came from and its not a movie but!! i think shoko would be unreasonably obsessed w the office. its her hyperfixation. we would binge it together all the time <33 my favorite is michael but she would compare him to gojo (objectively correct comparison) and i would no longer be able to see him the same way

and then for sugu…….. he’s so pretentious mickey. i just know he is. ONLY watches good movies. if u ask nicely he’ll watch a bad movie w u but will silently judge it + ur taste the whole time i hate him. (i dont.) idk i just feel like he has way too much to say abt fight club and the godfather PSBDJBF TELL ME U SEE THE VISION…. will lowkey mainsplain them to u but its sugu so i think its fine <33

but jokes aside i think sugu just has Good taste. beyond the mainstream toxic man movies (and even w those i think he has genuinely good and interesting takes he’s simply Perfect)… i feel like he has a wide selection of lesser known movies that are actually really really good and he shares them w u <3 and gatekeeps them from everyone else im thinking like old monochrome french movies w really interesting plots …. indie gems …. etc etc.
