There are a lot of potential ways to interpret this line but I rarely see people talk about it compared to the more specific desire/knowledge she lost (fixing her hair). Personally I think it would be both funny and angsty to explore post-canon Marcille struggling with impulse control

as i'm workin on my Ancient stuff- i've got to say that it is really interesting and neat (read: nasty) that there's a good chance most of the Ancient population probably didn't actually wear masks. but We think they did cuz the only really solid evidence of what they looked like at all all comes from places of the higher social circles. and those strived for religious... superiority, i guess. brownie points, not actual dedication to the religion for the sake of its teachings but either because it made them look good, put them higher in the social hierarchy or whatever manipulation have you (or the flawed look upon the religion aka "we gotta get out of this cycle no matter what")
all we are left with are the bastards. the simple people and their cultures that were left to weather the Iterators' rains were simply washed away. nobody cared for their way of life- as long as it served the higher circles well and they stayed submissive (enough so that at the end everyone would take a dip in the void), nobody had to give a singular shit
just how much do we not know about the Ancients' *everything* because of this disregard? how much do we think we are right about, when such is true only for the small but privileged piece of the species?

Mecha-Sonic, Dr. Robotnik has created other robots based on Sonic and thrown them away before he created you. Do you have any thoughts on this?

One of my favourite things about Fiona and Debbie’s relationship is how it’s such an accurate portrayal of sisterhood when the older sister has always played the role of a mom.
It’s fine when Debbie’s little because she wants a motherly figure. But when she becomes a teenager, she just wants Fiona to be a sister and not a mom. You can see the roles start to shift. Up until then Debbie was the daughter and Fiona was essentially the mother. But at the beginning of the middle seasons as Debbie gets older, they become each other’s sisters. Debbie wants to be Fiona’s equal and to be able to talk to her about things the way sisters can without Fiona lecturing or mothering her.
But Fiona desperately wants to stop Debbie from making the same mistakes she did and to make her see things the way she does, because at the end of the day teenagers still do need guidance from adults. And there were no other adult female figures to do that for her. She can’t just turn off parent mode and be the sister Debbie desperately wants.
One sister having to play the parent role is often unavoidable but it can drive such a wedge between sisters, especially during the younger sisters teenage years.

I'm gonna be real honest w you all & say smth controversial
messages/posts/additions to posts that are like "hey x user does/thinks xyz" and that thing is anything but "is a t//erf/nazi/pedophile/racist" i truly and genuinely cannot bring myself to care that much I'm sorry. like if ur bringing up fandom discourse to discredit a post abt serious political/human rights issue I just cannottttt take it seriously
and that's not even to say I agree w that person or even think those things are great but it's like. at the end of the day does their opinion on fandom drama impact what their post abt palestine or trans care or whatever else is saying? probably not. like it's just not relevant in the same way knowing an op of a post abt feminism is a t//erf or the op of a post abt israel is a nazi. like it's not the same Impact. do you get what I'm saying.
