Can somebody write a Modern Hotd au. Where The Targaryens own and operate the hottest fashion magazine in modern Westroes. With like an Ugly Betty twist. The ugly Betty oc gets assigned to Aegon because he keeps sleeping with his assistants. Almost like a modern Hotd x Ugly Betty crossover.

EDIT. So I've now realized that alot of people haven't seen Ugly Betty. Honestly, I'm still in the first season.

I mainly wanted just a Betty kind of character in the fic. Like an ugly duckling, with no sense of fashion, who ends up the assistant of one of the owners of the top fashion magazine in the country. I'd like her to be paired with aemond. I don't think it really needs to be a whole hotd ugly betty crossover.

Ugly Betty series finale is the best season finale in the world but the most frustrating series finale possible. Everything I've wanted in the whole series is just right there in the series finale but never actually got to see through. It's like they gave us everything but put them just out of reach for just a few centimetres fuck! I mean, just one more season I only ask for one singular tiny little season! Just 5 more episodes at least!

Ugly Betty Reunion Show Idea (that will never come to light outside of fanfiction bc I do not work in Hollywood)

Betty’s offered a job back at MODE in an attempt to “modernize” the failing company. She’s reluctant to take the job due to her rocky past with Daniel. But when she and Hilda discover their father can no longer live on his own, she packs up her life and moves back to New York to take care of him—and to try to save MODE.

Betty

The final episode has Betty, and ultimately Daniel, move to London. She and Daniel grow closer and stupidly she gives into his charm. They begin dating. But when “marriage” begins being hinted at, Daniel unsurprisingly flees, leaving behind a broken hearted Betty. After months of trying to reach him, to no avail, she dusts herself off and moves on with her life. Present day has her back at MODE. She thinks it’ll be Hell working so closely with Daniel again, but being back is nostalgic.

Daniel

Daniel, to his mother’s despair, goes back to his old ways when he leaves Betty. Claire Meade knows her son is depressed and desperately wants him to make things right with Betty. In truth, he wishes he had never left her all those years ago, but fears it’s too late for him to mend things. Once Betty returns and her “secrets” are revealed, he wants to make things right.

Claire

Claire quite honestly appears to only want to play matchmaker when she calls on Betty to help modernize MODE. She even locks Betty in a room with her son to “talk things over” her first day. She truly just wants to make things right.

Wilhelmina

Wilhelmina Slater is a legend in the fashion industry. People practically lick the floors she walks on. At first she’s insulted that Betty thinks she can waltz back into her life and take over, but she soon realizes the girl is a great ally. Plus, she’s helping MODE. She decides not to reveal the skeletons in Betty’s closet. For right now, at least.

Ignacio

His failing health brings Betty back to New York. At first, he’s reluctant. He doesn’t need his daughter stopping her life to take care of him. And he’s against her working at MODE again due to the fact that she’ll be in close proximity of him, Daniel, the guy who broke her heart.

Hilda & Justin

Hilda and Justin are always around to lend a helping hand or share a few wise words, even if they do have lives of their own. Betty (with Marc’s approval) gets Justin a job as an assistant at MODE.

Amanda & Marc

Amanda and Marc are still up to no good at MODE. If they’re not (still) insulting Betty’s choice of fashion, they’re taking part in Wilhelmina’s schemes. Sometimes (with a great emphasis on sometimes) they’re helpful. Marc and Betty work closely together to save MODE.

Iggy

Betty’s “greatest secret” as Wilhelmina might say. But Betty has never tried to “hide” him from anyone. She discovered her pregnancy around the time Daniel left and, after months of trying to get in contact with Daniel, Betty decides to have the baby on her own. Iggy is her best friend, even if he is a little rebellious at times. He’s a shock to everyone at MODE, except for Claire, who has known all along (much to Daniel’s shock) but promised Betty she wouldn’t say anything. Iggy catches on pretty quick, but he’s not so eager to bond with anyone new, much less his supposed estranged father.

You haven't seen Challengers yet? Well then it's about time if you like a poly ship. Even if the film doesn't show as much of the three-way relationship as you'd hope, I'm sure the three of them have pulled themselves together and found a solution at the end. The camera work and the dialogue alone should convince you that this is a good film. (even if the reviews aren't that great, I thought the film was fantastic).

The Boys (TV) Fandom:

the boys is a series that not everyone likes. If only because it's so bloodthirsty, but I love the series. All the side-swipes etc. Karl Urban as Billy Butcher does things to me. (And yes I have a relatively healthy relationship with my dad). Hughie/Butcher as a relationship would be a disaster on the show (especially in the newer seasons), but hopefully we can all agree that Hughie had a slight crush on Butcher in the beginning. That's why there are a couple of fics here that I think are great and are mostly more AUs.

The alliteration and the general violence of the name does not generally bode well for the safety of Hughie’s hand and other body parts.

I started Ugly Betty for the first time last week. Now, I've rewound through some of the backstabbing parts because, while entertaining, that just wasn't the mood I was going for (and I truly believe you can do that if it protects your peace, k?).

And let me tell you, I'm surprised I'm enjoying it.

Three episodes in I was reading fanfiction.

Two seasons & many fanfic in I had to watch the last two episodes just to ease my mind. (I have high anxiety, yall).

Now I'm in Season 4 and am very sad that it's ending soon.

Also every song on the radio yall.

Thoughts;

I like Henry better than the other boyfriends (at least in the first season, after that he's a broken record and should stay in Tuscan)

I actually liked Molly.

But definitely Daniel & Betty.

Anywhere really. The one im writing right now i came up with from two diff eps of ugly betty.

Im actively writing two. Ch. 9 of my wip roommates and a russolaw au where Johnny accidentally sends some sexy pics to Daniel's employees. The next few im gonna write/probably gonna write are an au where Daniel and Johnny have gone out on a few dates but have barely kissed and Johnny's friends teach Daniel how to fuck Johnny, ch. 4 and 5 of home run, a russolaw au where Johnny is an OnlyFans model and Daniel is his biggest fan, and there is one au i have been obsessed with for months where a recently divorced Daniel moves in next door to Johnny and they start a childish feud.

probably a tie between love and murder and the boy with golden locks.

Id say im a bit more of fic writer cause sometimes its hard for me to find a good fic to read.
