We’re now getting I direct comparison between twitter and bluesky.

With a 5th of the total follower count you’re above to get a higher engagement.

This is because a significant percentage of your followers on Twitter either no longer exist or they’re bots giving you the illusion of a higher fan base.

Couple that with twitter’s algorithm showing people promoted accounts over the accounts they follow means the real people that would engage with your content just aren’t seeing your posts.

I’m loosing track of who I have followed on bluesky now so once I’ve confirmed that I follow them I’m going to unfollow them from twitter. This will mean I’m more likely to see the accounts I wouldn’t normally see.

I really tried to keep it up 😭 I had a few iterations of directories and it just turned into so much time. I’m a project manager by trade and it felt too much like work. I’m trying to be very diligent about tagging these days which I hope is helpful ;___; remember me by/forgetful is fully tagged, anything to anywhere has been tagged so far too!

Busy

I’ve been busy,

Just the hectic noise of day to day.

The mental load is heavy

Have I completed everything I said?

Did I transfer the money?

Did I remember to do all that I say?

It feels like another box to tick.

Another thing to add to the mental load.

It makes my heart rate go quick.

When did life get so busy?

When did we stop the pause.

When did our mental health become secondary to checklists?

When did we lose sight of our lives cause?

So I’m unsubscribing from the unnecessary do lists,

I’m claiming back time for my soul.

I’m letting go of busy,

Isn't it just a wonderful feeling to unsubscribe from e-mails?

Most of the time you don't even know how you got roped into it. You interact with a service only once and they think they can take up your precious time. Your inbox is overrun with an influx of irrelevant messages. At first you just ignore. You think it's an anomaly. It is not. You just delete the e-mails whenever they come in. What a waste of time.

You need to go into that message, scroll down, and click unsubscribe.

They shouldn't have e-mailed you in the first place, but at least now you are free.
