I think AO3 should phase out this collection feature if it's doing more harm and harassment than good.

I've seen a lot of fics disappear from my bookmarks, some 10+ years old, because they were added to an unrevealed collection. It makes me wonder if people realize what your fic being added to a collection actually means and if the authors approved it automatically without realizing what would happen.

If someone adds your fic to their collection, they can hide it! They can mark the collection as unrevealed and your fic will be unreadable to anyone other than them! If you're writing works for a surprise event, like a Secret Santa, this is really nice.

But if you're just writing and someone adds your fic to a collection for their own personal use and marks it as unrevealed, that. . . really sucks.

I bookmarked this fic in 2017, almost 5 years ago. Knowing me, the fic itself was probably at least a couple years old at the time I bookmarked it.

This is a 5+ year old fic that is completely inaccessible now because it was added to a collection that, as far as I can tell, is literally just for the collection owner's own reference. There's almost 30 fics in the collection, all of them unrevealed.

Please don't blindly accept collection requests and if your works ARE in a collection, make sure that they aren't being hidden without your knowledge or consent.

Redesigned Armoury Browser

The Armoury browser, used for adding Magic Items in games like Warhammer: The Old World, has been improved in Quartermaster 6.4.

When a unit has access to multiple armoury categories, the categories begin collapsed with a summary of assigned items on the right. The total points is still shown in the top right. Tap any category to expand it and view all the items.

Switch the Filter switch to only show armoury items that cost less than the unit's remaining allowance. This is useful for filling up an armoury allowance. You can also type a number into the Search field to filter by a different maximum cost, which is great for spending those last few points for an army.

Searching for words still narrows the list to just those matches.

Armoury items can now adjust unit profiles

Armoury items can now include profiles, which can also include profile adjustments for the unit: values which are added or subtracted to the unit's characteristics. Adjusted characteristics are shown in bold, the same as for unit upgrades that adjust characteristics. In this example, the Dwarf King has a combination or runes that boosts his WS, S, T, and W. He is mounted on Shieldbearers upgrade for a further boost to his Toughness!
