Has Daniel ever slipped in pupspace at races? Not just the barking and howling he usually does, deeper than that. Or do they make sure he has time to slip into that headspace between races? - past couple of anons was me so signing off as 🧚🏻 anon now. I am invested in that dog now

With so much to think about and focus on before, during, and soon after a race weekend, there's not much time for Daniel to voluntarily go into his pupspace (he still says "going dog mode/puppy mode" when announcing it to Max). He might get particularly playful and giddy during exercise (pre race tennis ball catch-and-throw is his equivalent to Max's kitten bapping reaction training lights) and it gives him an excuse to hop around and bark a bit. It's normal behaviour for him to hype himself up by barking, so no one questions it, not his trainer or the engineers.

In between double or triple headers, or straight after an intense race, Daniel might let all his frustrations about a dnf or setup changes go by cuddling up next to Max, letting him slip on his collar and pup hood, and playing with him. Oooooor, ya know, lil bit of leg humping and treating his dick like a chew toy (he wouodnt bite maxs dick) (okay maybe one time he got too deep puppy brained and bit his shaft. so.)

Thanks for the tag @graverobbber im so excited for your fic!!! im soooo sleepy right now but this is a rough snippet from my jegulus body swap AU WIP based on the 2016 movie Kimi no Na wa (Your Name).

All Regulus does is lie. He lies to his parents, his friends, himself. But he cannot lie to James. How do you keep a secret from someone who knows you as much as you know yourself? How can you keep a secret from someone who has been a part of you and you a part of them? James has seen the pieces of himself he keeps tucked away. He peeled back every anxiety, knocked on the door of every insecurity, and tried to beat them into submission. But this - this was the monster under the bed. It was bigger, stronger, and more terrifying than everything else. It's proof that Regulus is too soft for the world that he didn’t belong in. James is going to find out. Someone else is going to know his weakness - that he is too weak and will never amount to anything other than a punching bag. He’s too soft to be anything else.

I see you’re working on a “Cornered” sequel! Will this sequel be following the official good ending or Bakura’s “good” ending?

As for “Bakura’s good ending,” … that ending will probably never really “end” because I like adding on to it too much NXJSBDJS the ficlets in the “behind the scenes” (I have no idea why I called it that) are just ramblings that come to my mind and are just for fun and maximum pain EHHEEH but, of course, I will be posting more of those soon… just have to dig them out of my cornered archives, haha
