A Wet Dream Just Dangling
Summary : vampire harry wants to eat you out.
TW : smut, period sex, oral (f receiving)
Word Count : 1.5k
Tumblr media
“c’mon, darling,” harry coos, laying in bed, tangled up with you, using the softness of your tummy as a pillow. “don’t have to be shy with me.”
“harry,” you giggle, biting your lip, “never in a million years would i have thought of doing this.”
“hmm, i could wait a million years, but i’d really rather not,” he grumbles, fingertips gently stroking your skin. “you know it’ll make you feel better, my love.”
“s’embarrassing. and really awkward,” you groan, stuffing your face in a pillow, fingers carding through your boyfriend’s hair.
“nothing to be embarrassed about. totally normal thing,” he turns his head, chin pressed into your skin, peering up at you. “besides, s’not like it’s my first time.”
“that doesn’t exactly make me feel better,” you giggle.
when you met harry, and inevitably fell deeply in love, you knew there would be a learning curve to dating him. the whole vampire thing being a bit of an adjustment for you.
in the last 6 months, you’d gotten used to the feeding part of dating him. a weekly, sometimes twice a week, occurrence, that you’d grown to honestly be excited for. the intimate part of it all wasn’t lost on you. if anything, it made you feel closer to him.
so far, the idea of period sex hadn’t come up. that is, until today. your cramps were a little worse than usual, and although you know that sex has helped to alleviate them, you also know that he’s not just asking for sex. he’s asking to eat you out.
“beautiful girl, you’ll love it,” he hums, pecking over your stomach, tongue darting to take a few tentative licks of your skin.
your taste invades his senses immediately, fangs poking out on their own accord, gently scraping against you, just enough to make a trail of goosebumps follow their path.
“harry,” you whine softly. he knows that whine, knows that what he’s doing is working. and the lower he makes his way down your stomach, kissing, sucking, licking, tasting, the more he can smell you. smell the blood, smell the arousal mixing in. his mind starts going hazy, only able to focus on blood, blood, blood. but more specifically your blood.
“please,” he mutters so softly you barely caught it, fingertips dancing by the waistband of your sweatpants, lips and tongue and fuck, so much harry, ghosting over your hips. “please, will you let me, my love ?” little puffs of warm air tickling your skin.
“do it,” you sigh contently, setting your reservations aside at the pure desperate neediness to his tone. you’re not sure you could have ever imagined your big scary vampire to sound so soft and small, it made you give into him even quicker than usual.
the next moment flies by in a flash, your pants ripped clean off you, legs spread wide, thighs held open with his hands, an animalistic growl echoing from harry’s chest, fangs on full display, dropping down to breathe you in.
“fuck, fuck,” harry groans, his temple resting against your inner thigh, eyes locked on your cunt. you were absolutely soaked. your hormones on overdrive from your period, plus well, day 2 of your period, he doesn’t remember the last time he’s seen something so fucking beautiful.
his tongue tentatively pokes out, taking a lick at your sopping folds, harry’s eyes rolling back. “fucking christ, my beautiful girl, can’t-“ he shakes his head, taking another lick, “can’t hold myself back. stop me if it’s too much.”
and with that, he delves in. face instantly pressing into your cunt, tongue darting into you, licking at your inner walls with purpose.
you struggle to keep up with the quickness of it all, your body reacting to harry before your brain has a chance to keep up. with your back arching, a loud moan echoing through the room, you grip into his hair, pressing yourself more into his face.
you can feel the vibration from his groan, your pussy clenching on his lapping tongue. you can feel the bluntness of his fangs encompassing your heat, a slight sting from time to time, when they scrape particularly roughly. you can feel the nipping of his nails in your skin, thighs aching from his strength holding you spread open.
with your period long forgotten, cramps seemingly swept away with the flick of harry’s tongue, you keep rolling your hips into his face, causing his moans to increase.
harry’s mind is reeling, so far gone, overtaken with the continuous flow of blood. he doesn’t have to pace himself, doesn’t have to worry about taking too much. he can slurp up as much as he likes. add in the sweet taste of your arousal, and all he can focus on is more, more, more.
his eyes flick up to meet yours, the darkest crimson you think you’ve ever seen looking back at you. you note the deep red smeared over his pale porcelain skin, and you feel yourself tug on his hair harder, the sight making your skin prickle. you weren’t sure how this scene could ever be so beautiful, but here it was. and it made your stomach clench.
you can see the moment harry knows you’re going to cum, his eyes looking at you in recognition, cunt throbbing on his tongue, his mouth moving north for a moment to suck and flick at your clit. instantly, your orgasm crashes over you, back arching, legs trembling against his hold.
and harry’s ecstatic to lick you through it, scooping up the bubbles of blood, a guttural moan vibrating from the depths of his chest, his tongue migrating south again, face following suit.
without a moment to breathe, harry being hyper focused on blood, languidly stroking his tongue up and down and up and down through your slit, from entrance to clit, lapping up the blood, the arousal, the overwhelming sense of you, you, you.
“harry,” you whimper breathily, trying to compose yourself post orgasm, all while still having his tongue scooping from deep inside you. you couldn’t budge your legs at all, no matter how hard you tried to close them, your entire body prickling with heat every time he’d stroke your sweet spot.
your whines fall on deaf ears, harry much too busy with his face buried in your cunt. it was moments like these where he loves that breathing isn’t a problem he needs to worry about anymore.
so he continues on, sucking and slurping, getting completely lost in the seemingly endless supply of sustenance. so much so, that you’re almost certain he’s completely missed the fact that you’re cumming again.
your moans had gotten increasingly loud, body trembling and wracking in his hands, fingers pulling tight on his hair. your cunt was clenched hard around his tongue, but his muscles were strong, and it didn’t stop him one bit. growling pants coming from between your legs, he flicked his tongue over and over and over against your inner walls.
body covered in a sheen of sweat, you were panting, whining, so fucking overstimulated. and yet, you couldn’t find it in yourself to stop him. even with your third orgasm looming, the coil in your stomach tighter than it’s been all night, almost painfully so, you could not stop.
your hips try to lift off the bed, muscles stretching and tensing all at once, an explosion of heat and tingles spreads through you, your cunt at the centre of the storm.
harry groans happily, his mouth working you through your third orgasm, hands sliding from your inner thighs, around to the small of your back, holding you.
instantly, your legs close on his head, a moan vibrating from harry’s mouth, his hold leaving your back, sliding over your bum, up the back of your thighs, to press your knees into your chest.
and for the first moment since his escapade began, he pulls his mouth away from your pussy, looking at it, admiring his beautiful girl’s most intimate parts. he knows he’s pushed you to a limit, doesn’t have to ask, he absolutely knows you well enough by now.
he still, however, unable to help himself, takes a gentle lick all the way up your slit, your body flinching in response. “m’sorry, darling. just so pretty.”
heat rises to your cheeks, wiggling your hips, trying to get away from him, as embarrassment, shyness creeps up on you.
and again, knowing you so well, harry notices, shaking his head, pecking against the back of your thigh, knees still pressed to your chest. he takes another gentle lick up your cunt, groaning, “don’t know why you even bother with pads and tampons. fuckin waste of money, if you ask me.”

Can You Keep a Secret?
Tumblr media
summary: in which Twilight did not prepare you for the real world
just a fun little blurb about vampires because it's spooky season!
"So you're a—"
"Yep."
"With fangs and everything?"
"Afraid so."
"But how did you—"
"I think it was when I went to a club. I thought someone with a studded collar ran into me and then proceeded to get roofied because the next thing I remember was waking up in a park with a massive headache and covered in dirt."
Y/n looked over her friend, eyeing his appearance warily. Her initial response was to step back, more like sprint in the other direction. But the shock of this revelation rooted her to the spot. The floor of her dorm room, specifically.
"You said that all in one breath," Y/n said. She wasn't really sure why, it was just the first thing that came out of her mouth.
"I don't think I have breath anymore," Harry said.
"Right," she said. "Because you're..."
"Dead."
"Dead?"
"I think so."
Y/n probably shouldn't have, but she stepped closer to him, peering at him with wide eyes. With her pointer finger, she poked his cheek. "You don't...look dead."
"Thanks?"
"Are you sure you're not on some acid trip?" she asked. "Maybe I'm on an acid trip."
"Nope. This is real. And it's happening," Harry said. "I'm starting to get hungry, I'm afraid."
Y/n immediately pulled her hand away from his face and practically leaped away from him. "Oh. Did you come here to—"
"No," Harry said quickly. He reached for her, but when he saw her flinch, he stayed put. "I think the overall disgustingness of actually having to drink blood has kept me from actually doing it. But—"
"But you'll have to eventually," Y/n finished for him.
"I didn't know who else to turn to," Harry confessed, distress seeping into his features. "I'm terrified and confused and am quickly starting to realize that the sun now gives me a strange heat rash and I don't want to eat people but the thought of killing an animal also just seems cruel, so—"
"Let me think," Y/n said, reaching out to hold Harry's hand. It was cold, so unlike the warm touch she'd grown used to. But the touch itself felt the same. Even though there was no blood actually rushing through his veins, he still felt like her friend. He was still her friend.
Y/n paced the floor of her dorm for a moment, rushing to close the blinds on her window when she realized Harry was confined to one corner of the room. She wasn't sure what the hell she was supposed to do in this situation. Dracula didn't seem all that accurate at the moment, or any other iteration of creatures of the night. But Harry was her friend, her best friend. She had to think of something.
"Wait here," she said suddenly before quickly leaving her room, nabbing a to-go cup she'd forgotten to throw out earlier.
She raced to the end of the hall where the bathroom was, shoving her way inside and locking herself in a stall. Holding the cup with shaking hands, she plucked her keys from her sweatshirt pocket, where she kept a bottle opener.
It took longer than she expected, and she felt a little woozy by the end of it, but for the time being, cutting open her hand and letting blood spill into the cup was the best she could think of. It would buy them some time to come up with a better solution.
Y/n hurried back to her room, leaning against it once she was safely back inside. Harry was still there, staring closely at himself in the mirror by her bed with his teeth bared. At the sound of the door, though, he turned around.
"I knew it was you coming down the hall," he mentioned absentmindedly.
"You did? How'd you even know it was me?"
Harry shrugged. "Your...heartbeat sounded... familiar ," he said quickly.
Y/n looked at him funny, knowing there was something he wasn't telling her, which she found odd seeing as he told her he was a literal vampire, but she let it go. Instead, she thrusted the cup toward him.
"Here," she said. "I figured this was safer than biting me and possibly losing control."
Harry took the cup gingerly, eyeing the contents with a grimace. But Y/n caught a flicker of something in his eye. Hunger, she realized. He didn't want to drink it, but he did.
"Could you maybe turn around?"
"Oh. Of course, sorry," Y/n said, a blush blooming on her cheeks.
She faced the door as Harry murmured his thanks. He must've dug in the moment she turned around because he could hear him slurping from the straw still in the cup. He was done in seconds, and by the time she turned around, he was wiping the corners of his mouth with the back of his hand, the tips of his canines peaking out past his lips.
Fangs, Y/n thought. He really has fangs.
The reality of the situation seemed to hit her all of the sudden, and her knees buckled. Harry was there in a split second, and if that along with the other startling revelations from today weren't quite literally blowing her mind, she would've laughed at the parallel to that scene in Twilight.
That was all gone now. Harry was still pale, but there was more color in his skin now, culminating in his cheeks. His green eyes were more vibrant now, his lips an unfair shade of cherry red. He looked more handsome, because of course that was what reigned true among all the vampire lore there was out there, but he looked...well, he looked more alive, at least.
"You okay?" Harry asked, looking down at her.
His brows were furrowed with concern, and this close to her face, Y/n could tell the subtle differences that little bit of her blood made. She hadn't realized it before when he'd first come to her dorm, but his skin had been paler than it normally was and the planes of his face more pronounced than usual. He'd had dark bags under his eyes, and his usually curly hair had been rather limp and dull looking.
"Y/n?"
"I—Sorry. It probably wasn't much, but the impromptu blood donation kind of took it out of me," she managed to say, shaking away her reverie and steeping out of the hold Harry had her in.
"It was enough. Thank you," Harry said. "I actually feel a lot better."
"Did it taste like blood?" Y/n asked, curious to know the answer. Vampire shows always made it seem as though blood tasted like fine wine, but it was still just blood.
"I guess? Yes and no. No copper taste," he said.
Y/n hummed thoughtfully. She moved to sit on her bed, but faltered a step when the dizziness returned. Harry caught her again before helping her sit on top of her bed. He went straight for her snack drawer, which she kept in the first drawer at her desk instead of school supplies. Harry had helped himself to the multitude of goodies that resided there since they became friends, and Y/n had started to put more of what he seemed to like in it subconsciously, steadily learning his late night and study session snack preferences.
She supposed that was all different now.
"Here," Harry said, handing her a bar and a bag of cookies. "They hand these out at blood drives right?"
"Thanks," Y/n said, making room for him on her bed.
She ate in silence, Harry clearly having a lot on his mind. She had about a million questions, starting with how the hell was he going to pull off keeping this a secret and ending with did his skin sparkle in the sun. But Y/n kept them to herself while she ripped into her bag of cookies, slowly eating them while she waited for either of them to say something .
"Is your hand okay?"
Y/n looked down at where she'd hastily wrapped the cut on her hand in damp paper towels from the bathroom. It was pretty red, probably needed a bandage, but that hadn't really occurred to her while she was feeding her best friend who had accidentally got himself turned into a vampire.
"It stings," she said. "Sorry, does it bother you? I can—"
"It's fine, I just—I don't like that you had to hurt yourself for me."
Harry had been her friend since they started college together. They'd met in psychology class and had been study buddies ever since. And regular buddies, and now there wasn't anyone she trusted more. And that meant she knew him. Harry had always been protective of her, in a brotherly way, she often reminded herself. Y/n realized he probably wouldn't have been a huge fan of her plan if she'd explained it to him.
"It was just this once," she reassured him. "Just this once until we come up with a plan."
"I'm sorry I dragged you into this," Harry said, his shoulders slumping. "I just didn't know who else to turn to."
Y/n was reminded of a book she'd once read that had vampires in it—maybe she was the person to turn to for all this—that said that vampires had more intense feelings than a normal person, that every feeling, good or bad, was dialed to eleven. She didn't know if that was true in Harry's case. Hell, she didn't know what was true anymore. But on the off chance it was, it was probably in Harry's best interest to lift his spirits.
"I'm your friend, I'd be pissed if you didn't," she said. "We'll figure this out together, I promise."
"I'm not letting you do that again, though, okay? Don't hurt yourself for my sake. It's way too dangerous," he told her seriously. He looked at her, eyes boring into hers, and Y/n suddenly didn't want to look anywhere else but his eyes. She marveled at the peculiar shade of green that made up his irises, and the full lashes that framed them. She didn't want to blink so as not to stop looking at them for even a moment. All she wanted to do was stare. Stare and not hurt herself for him—
"Y/n? You with me?" Harry asked, snapping his fingers in front of her face.
Y/n blinked, thoughts of Harry's pretty eyes vanishing with the sharp sound coming from his fingers. Shaking her head, she looked away. Well, compulsion is real, she told herself. She'd have to start keeping a list. A Comprehensive List of What is True and What Popular Culture Has Lied About Regarding Vampirism.
"We are going to figure this out," she said with more confidence than she felt. "I am a woman of science, and there has to be an explanation for all this. I mean, you said it yourself, someone had to turn you right? At the club?"
Harry nodded. "Yeah, but—"
"Then that means there's at least one other vampire out there, which probably means there's more. And they can't just be starving in the shadows. There has to be a method to all this," she said, the gears in her brain already turning.
"I suppose," he said sullenly.
"Cheer up, H," Y/n said. "We're going to figure this out, okay? You're not alone."
Harry looked at her skeptically, his eyes scanning her up and down, perhaps trying to decide if she suffered a brain injury on the way back from the bathroom. But he merely nodded and said, "You're taking this all exceptionally well."
He had a point there, but maybe the shock would come later. "Life just got a little more interesting, that's all."
Harry smiled, and Y/n couldn't help but look at his canines. They looked normal, but she knew what was hiding beneath now. "So," he said, clapping his hands together. "Where do we start? Vampire lore? Finding the person who did this? How to safely acquire blood?"
"Statistics," Y/n said. She reached down for her backpack and pulled out her textbook, setting it before them. When she looked up at Harry, she laughed at the bewildered look on his face. "What? Just because you died and came back to life doesn't mean you can stop going to school."
"Um, I think that's exactly what it means," Harry argued, baffled by the topic change.
"I don't think so, Styles. If I have to suffer through my senior year, then so do you."
Harry only protested a little more before reaching for his own books. Silence settled between them comfortably as they sat shoulder to shoulder. Her mind was still partially coming up with a plan to keep him fed while she went over her notes, but she imagined she'd be doing a lot of multitasking from now on.
After a while, Harry bumped her shoulder with his. She looked up, and the look of sincerity on his face made her heart stutter. "Thank you."
It took a moment to respond, and this time she could blame the compulsion. "Of course. You'd do the same for me."
Harry seemed content to leave it at that. Y/n reached for her pen, then winced. "On second thought, maybe the first order of business is to get my hand fixed up."
"Right. Of course," Harry agreed, helping her off the bed and following her out of her dorm.

FICTOBER DAY 21- I Still Feel Your Lips

Warnings- cockwarming, vampire!h, blood mention
——-
“I still feel your lips, no matter how far away you are.” Harry whispered into her chest, nuzzled into it as he laid on top of her.
Returning from a trip, he had fallen right back into his lover's arms. As much as Y/N understood that the vampire had to delegate his tasks, she didn’t like being held alone in their room at the castle. He had been gone for just a fortnight and she had been feeling thoroughly neglected when he barged into her room. He’d left early, crawling into bed with his human and smattering kissing all over the skin her nightgown left exposed. As soon as she was in his arms again, she gave in. sighing happily as his cool mouth nipped and kissed and licked her skin, all the way up to her neck which she promptly nodded at him to get him to feed. He hadn’t since he left.
Feeding was intimate, it was something the vampire used to despise before he had Y/N. His skin used to crawl as he had to seduce and glamour the humans into giving him a bite, compelling them to forget all about him as soon as he left the dingy alleys or pubs or parties he would find his prey at. Having a feeder, a dedicated human to provide such a thing had never been his initial plan- but Y/N seemed to his exception to everything.
Her head was still buzzing and floaty from the bite, the warm feeling cocooning her as his caresses and close proximity grounded her, tethering her to the plush bed he had dubbed as their own. While most did not sleep in the same room as their feeders, Y/N had pushed that boundary of his until it was ground into dust. He couldn’t rest without knowing she was sleeping soundly in his arms. Lips brushed her throat, making sure she was clean of her own blood before they moved to connect to her sleepy ones. Harry had arrived in the middle of the night, but she was happy to be awoken by his minty, parchment scent. He’d stripped of everything but his briefs, pulling the blankets on top of them and let the candles stay lit.
“Please.” She whispered, curling her leg around him. “I don’t sleep well without you inside me.” It felt pathetic to beg for, but he’d gotten her into the habit. Tucking his hard prick inside of her and let her feel full as he rubbed her slippery clit to orgasm, letting her fall asleep with him safely inside of her and waking her the next day with his slow thrusts. Harry had made her addicted to him, but when he whispered to her about how she must have been made for him- she had the mind to agree with him.
“Oh, my sweet. M’sorry.” He cooed. “M’sorry. I know, my poor thing.” His croon made her shiver, feeling his hand slip between them to pull the fabric covering him away. “I was so focused on your taste. I missed you so…” Her heat was almost too much, making his teeth clench and nostrils flare as he smelled her musky sweetness. She had been waiting for him, his precious human girl. There was little time wasted before he slipped the tip inside, hissing quietly at the feel of her heat trying to take him in.
“Yes-Thank you, thank you, thank you.” She babbled, only quiet when his mouth covered hers and he slowly filled her up to the brim. She could feel him stretching her just as her body craved, every ridge and vein falling back to the place it needed to be. It took a few moments, heavy balls tucked snug against her ass as he let his weight lay on her and his cock fill her in the way he knew she needed so badly. His thumb stayed connected between them, rubbing tender circles on her swollen clit as her breathing picked up.
“You’re welcome. I missed this.” He sighed, the click of their lips connecting and pulling apart sounding again. “Missed you dearly. They offered me one of their feeders but.. I said no. No one else tastes as good, feels as good as you. I felt revolted at the idea.” His words made her whine, which he promptly shushed. “No, my sweet. You are the only one who I want. Taste divine, keep my cock warm and wet… No one else could ever compare. I counted the minutes until I could return to our bed.” His thumb rubbing back and forth made her toes curl, head tilting back and baring her neck for him all over again. She loved feeling him bite her, even not being fed from. The pinpricks from his teeth, the marks they left. She loved being owned by him. She’d been scared when he had originally brought up the proposition, but couldn’t imagine herself anywhere else.
The vampire knew what she was asking for, biting down over the columb of her throat and feeling her tighten up on him as her clit throbbed against his wet thumb, her arms tight around his neck. This was the euphoria both of them had become completely and utterly addicted to.  Neither could see it ending. “Come on now, darling. Soak me and close those pretty eyes. You’ve not slept well.. I will take you fully in the morning, but you need release, and then rest.” He purred. Let me take care of you, as you do to me.”

put a price on emotion
The Honourable Judge Styles has a dark secret. He prides himself on being notorious for his cutthroat sense of justice. But is he really any better than the ones he imprisons? Or is he a victim much like the ones he acquits?
Put a price on emotion - Masterlist, Author's Notes & Warnings / alternatively, read on wattpad
Prologue (word count: 1.1k)
“All rise. The court is now in session. Honourable Judge Styles presiding. Please be seated.”
The imposing man nodded to the bailiff and the other members of the courtroom as he took his seat at the bench. “Thank you, you may all be seated. Call the case.”
“Your honour, criminal case number 23234- People of Chicago, Illinois versus Grace Gwyneth Cohen for homicide.”
The judge did a quick scan of the courtroom as he opened up his notebook for his case notes, and landed his gaze on the defendant. She’d waived her right to a jury trial, which didn’t make any sense to him. It made much more sense for her to want a jury trial. Her chances of convincing that many more people of her innocence were exponentially higher than persuading the state’s notoriously cutthroat judge.
The man usually presided over hung jury cases. It was his expertise, mostly because he was known for being just and, yes, cutthroat. In all the cases he’d presided over, not once did he have even a shadow of a doubt over who was in the wrong. He’d always served justice, he was sure of it, and as much as he’d have liked to have his innate judge of character take all the credit for it, he had to admit he’d not been this attuned before.
It was hard to tell anymore, mainly because, well, it had been such a long time since… before. If anything, he could attest that he’d always had an affinity towards justice, doing the right thing, advocating for the right cause, but now, well, he could read right through the bullshit.
He could read people like open books.
As could all vampires.
So, really, it was nothing special. What was special, though, was that not all vampires chose to put these sharpened abilities to good use. The fact that he’d chosen to do so was still something mind boggling to his… community. But Harry couldn’t fathom just doing nothing for all eternity, like they did. Sure, after a couple hundred years everyone kinda gets tired of trying to spruce things up. But he’d done it all- tried everything in the book- and at one point, you just need to try and give your existence meaning. And this, judging, was a way he could put his abilities to good use, in a meaningful way, giving him a sense of purpose.
And that was pretty valuable when you were immortal.
And besides, he couldn’t lie; the added bonus of making humans squirm- particularly those that deserved to be crushed by the law- under his gavel, albeit metaphorically, was quite thrilling.
But most of all, he enjoyed ensuring a bit of balance in this unfair world- the world that chose this existence for him. He’d not chosen this for himself, after all. He was a victim. He’d suffered a great injustice, maybe the biggest of them all- he’d been robbed of his right of living a normal life. He’d been forced into immortality, and there was nothing he could do about it. No one to turn to, no one to give him justice. There simply wasn’t any. And that had always bothered him deeply.
Sure, they had a system. The vampire that had turned him did suffer some consequences. But, really, there wasn’t much you could do to an immortal being to make them really repent. It wasn’t like they were going to be put away for “life”. You couldn’t exactly incarcerate someone for all eternity. The prospect of a death penalty was more of a treat than a threat to most vampires. And so, outside of being ostracised by their community, which ensured an even lonelier existence, there wasn’t much else a vampire could fear in this afterlife. Most of them stayed within lines and regulations just so they wouldn’t have to face the rest of eternity alone, be it as it may in a state of the art manor and not some dingy prison cell.
So what had made this young woman waive her jury trial? Had she not heard of his reputation? Looking at her, he recognized she was an outspoken person, a very headstrong personality, from the way she didn’t seem to pay any attention to her lawyer.
He recognized the defence attorney. He was someone the state had provided the young woman with, so he wasn’t her own choice. Their body language told him all he needed to know. She was not going to heed her council’s advice. He wondered if the man knew it too, but if he had to guess he’d say he was suspicious of it at the very least.
This was going to be tricky, Harry thought to himself as he narrowed his gaze and decided to proceed.
“Is the accused in court?”
“Yes, your honour,” the bailiff announced.
“Alright, arraign the accused.”
The young woman was brought to the defence panel, the bailiff addressing her “You are the accused in the trial number 23234 entitled People of Chicago, Illinois versus Grace Gwyneth Cohen, and the information charges you of the crime of homicide committed as follows: that on the night of 27 of July, current year, in Chicago, Illinois, the above named accused, with intent to kill, did then and there, wilfully, unlawfully and feloniously attack, assault and employ personal violence upon the person of one Silvian Montgomery, by then and there stabbing him with a sharp silver switchblade on the right portion of his torso, thereby inflicting upon him a serious and mortal wound which was the direct and immediate cause of his untimely death as per the autopsy report conducted by the state appointed pathologist. Contrary to law. What is your plea?”
“Not guilty.”
“You will address the bench in doing so.”
The young woman cleared her throat and turned to face the judge who was watching her intently. She took a quick breath, meeting his icy glaze. “Not guilty, your honour.”
“The accused enters the plea of not guilty, your honour.”
The young woman rolled her eyes ever so slightly, muttering something about how she’d literally just said that. And she’d been subtle about it, but Harry was extremely observant. And his preternatural hearing capabilities didn’t hurt, either.
But he was willing to let it slide, because, well, he had an affinity for innocent people.
It felt a bit like cheating, this whole ordeal, a feeling he wasn’t accustomed to. Because he was about to preside over a case knowing the outcome from head start. He knew what his verdict would be. He knew before he’d even been assigned the trial.

Chapter 1
A/N: well, well well. the day has finally come. i've been planning on this fic for over a year now! i was going to post the epilogue for halloween, but life got in the way. in a way i'm glad i didn't because, well, this isn't just another vampire fic to me. it's so much more than that. it's smutty (of course), it's angsty (duh, it's me), but honestly... for a guy whose heart stopped beating a long time ago Harry sure doesn't act like it. and as for the original main character this time around, Grace... well, we'll just have to discover her alongside Harry, won't we ❤️
beta'd by the lovely @adorebeaa ❤️
special bday gift for @freedomfireflies ❤️ btw the name i chose for the mc is coincidental 😅
💕 like & reblog if you’re enjoying this, lovelies, and most importantly, please come share your thoughts on it here 💌

Kiss Me Deadly
Tumblr media
SUMMARY: The annual Halloween party at the local pub has Y/N excited when she decides to invite her boss at the University, Mr. Styles. But she soon begins to second guess her decision when Harry starts acting odd. Is Harry Styles really who she thinks he is? Will this Halloween be a fantasy come true…or the kiss of death?
WARNINGS: mentions of blood (I mean, it's a vampire fic lol), smut (oral - female receiving).
WORD COUNT: 6.4k
A/N: Happy Halloween! Sorry for the delay of this story. I had hoped to get it out last week, but I had some weird life-altering things happen that have occupied my mind. Hope you enjoy. FEEDBACK IS LOVE.
Tumblr media
Harry removed his glasses and pinched the bridge of his nose, shutting the large book on his desk. Rising from his chair, he called out to his assistant.
“Time to lock up, Y/N. I wanna get out of here before eight o’clock.”
“No problem, Mr. Styles,” she said, closing your own book in front of her.
Pursing his lips, Harry shook his head. Y/N knew what the look was for. For weeks now he’d been insisting she call him by his first name. But being his assistant, it felt odd to her, unnatural.
Not to mention the horrible crush she had on him. Truth be told, Y/N had a massive crush on him long before she ever took the position as his assistant. But up until then, he’d only been Mr. Styles to her, the attractive English TA with a British accent.
When Mr. Styles and Dr. Osborne had initially told Y/N about the position and that she’d be perfect for it, she’d been completely surprised. Teacher’s Assistants didn’t usually have their own assistants. But the university had a large English department, and Dr. Osborne insisted that more help was needed. Therefore, Y/N had been spending Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings this semester assisting Mr. Styles, and in turn, assisting Dr. Osborne.
“How many times is that now?” asked Harry, sliding his glasses back onto his face.
“Times?”
“Times I’ve told you to just call me Harry,” he commented with a frown. “Mr. Styles makes me feel so old.”
Y/N chuckled, “You’re not old.”
“‘Course not. I’ve barely got a few years on you.”
Trying not to blush, Y/N took the stack of books in her arms and turned toward the shelves to put them away.
“So why are you closing up early tonight? Hot date?” she joked.
Y/N heard Harry snort before she turned around and saw the strange look on his face. Embarrassment? Had she pried where she shouldn’t have?
“Not exactly.”
“Oh.”
“I have plans…but I wouldn’t exactly call it a date,” he added.
“Ah. I see.” Although she didn’t.
Y/N didn’t know much about Harry Styles outside of his job at the university. She always wondered who or what he went home to every night. Didn’t know if he had any social life, anything about his likes or dislikes that weren’t English related. He seemed to keep to himself, and Y/N respected that. But it didn’t mean she didn’t fantasize sometimes…
“Y/N,” she heard him say, breaking her from her reverie.
“Oh, um, yes?”
Harry chuckled. “Wow, you were zoned out. I asked if you were ready to go. I’ll walk you out.”
“Oh. Yeah!” Y/N stammered. “Hang on, just have two more books to put away.”
Shelving the last book in her hands, Y/N grabbed the two on her table and quickly put them in their places. Walking past Harry to the coat rack, she grabbed her jacket, getting a whiff of his delicious cologne. Y/N wasn’t sure what it was, and was always afraid to ask him. But every single day he smelled divine. Nothing like the boys in college.
“Ready,” she announced, slipping her arms into her sleeves and grabbing her shoulder bag.
Y/N followed Harry down the steps to the entrance of the English building. Spotting her friend Lauren across the pavement coming out of the library, she waved and called her name.
“Have a good night, Mr. Styles,” Y/N paused, “I mean, Harry.”
She caught the twitch of his lips underneath the dim campus light before he said, “You too, Y/N.”
“That guy you work with is so hot,” remarked Lauren after she and Y/N had both ordered drinks at their favorite local pub.
“Who?” Y/N asked, accepting her beer from the bartender, “Harry?”
“You call him Harry?”
“He asked me to,” she said. “But I still call him Mr. Styles.”
“Jesus, that’s even hotter!”
Y/N laughed, nearly knocking over her glass. “Well, you’re not wrong. He is hot. But he’s very reserved.”
“Ooh the nerdy, quiet type! I like! Maybe you need to pull him out of his shell.”
“I dunno,” Y/N smirked with a shrug.
“C’mon. I bet you’re just the girl to do it,” Lauren insisted.
“And how do I do that, pray tell?”
“Ask him out!”
“I can’t just ask out my boss! There has to be rules against that sort of thing, right?”
“Hmmm,” Lauren nodded, taking a sip from her own beer. “Maybe casually suggest something. Like coffee, or a drink after work. In a social gathering type place, like here. Oh my God!”
“What?”
“The Halloween party! He probably knows about it - he might even already have plans on coming!” squealed Lauren.
“I doubt it,” Y/N shook her head.
“You never know. It’s mostly a school event anyway. You don’t even have to ask him out on a date, just tell him you’ll be there and he should come.”
“That’s actually not a bad idea,” Y/N muttered, chewing her lip.
“I know! I have brilliant ideas,” Lauren declared.
Despite the unusually warm night, Harry could see his breath in front of him, instantly dissipating into the air. He pulled the collar up on his black coat as he continued down the pavement. Stopping at the corner of the pub, he could hear the music and chatter from inside. But there was only one voice he wanted to hear. Only one person whose blood he could already hear pulsing through his eardrums.
The smell was intoxicating - her smell. His mouth began to water as he peeked through the blinds of the old family pub. He found her quickly, sat at the bar with that friend of hers, the one who’d ruined his plan.
He had hoped to follow Y/N home after leaving the English building. Watch her climb the steps to her flat and let herself in. He’d done it a few times before, but he wouldn’t call it stalking. He just enjoyed her aroma, the rushing of her blood through her veins. Then when he was sure she was home safely, he’d turn around and walk home.
This particular night, however, he had thought perhaps he’d get the courage to walk up to her. Maybe act as if it was a coincidence that he was in her part of town. He’d even conjured up a lie, saying his plans for the evening had gotten canceled, if she seemed happy to see him. Then he’d ask her to join him for a drink. A glass of wine perhaps. But not at this noisy pub, no. Somewhere secluded, more…romantic.
Blasted Lauren, or whatever her name was. He reckoned he’d have to wait for another night. But…time was running out…
Lauren and Y/N called it a night after only two beers. Y/N was tired and Lauren had an early shift at the shop where she worked. After giving her friend a farewell hug, Y/N crossed the street and headed for home. She noticed a bit of a fog, thinking it suitable for this time of year. Halloween was only a few days away. She hadn’t originally planned on going to the party at the pub, seeing as Lauren had a date and she didn’t want to be the third wheel. But now the prospect of asking Harry had made her change her mind.
Making a list of possible last-minute costumes in her head, she suddenly heard something behind her. Turning her head, however, she saw nothing but empty pavement. Continuing on her way, she’d almost reached her building when she heard something again. This time, she turned swifty, seeing only a cloud of pillowy smoke. Thinking it odd for the fog to circulate in that manner, she felt a chill run down her spine. Her eyes shifted from side to side as her body stood frozen.
“Hello?” she called out meekly.
When she got no response, she slowly turned back around, only to run into a tall frame of a man. She nearly screamed when two hands grabbed her shoulders, but her words stalled when she looked up into a pair of familiar green eyes.
“Oh! Mr. Sty- Harry,” she breathed. “What…what are you doing here?”
“I’m terribly sorry, Y/N,” he said, squeezing her shoulders. “I didn’t mean to frighten you.”
Still trembling, her heart beating loudly, Y/N blinked and nodded. “It’s…it’s okay. I thought someone was following me.”
“Oh, well now I do feel terrible.”
“No,” she swallowed, placing a hand over her chest. “Don’t, really. I was probably just paranoid. What with the fog and all.”
“Ah, yes. It is quite a foggy night, isn’t it?” Harry gazed around.
That was when Y/N noticed he wasn’t wearing his glasses. She chuckled nervously as she felt Harry’s hands leave her arms.
“So what are you doing here?” she asked, bracing herself to hear Harry reveal details of his evening.
“Well, I…” he echoed the nervous chuckle, scratching his forehead. “It’s rather embarrassing actually. My plans got canceled.”
“Oh. I’m sorry to hear that,” Y/N remarked.
“I’m not,” Harry grinned.
Y/N felt the blood rush through her veins at the way he smiled at her. She’d seen him smile many times, but this was different. It was as though a sudden spark had ignited behind his eyes.
“I know there’s a popular pub nearby,” he added. “Fancy a drink?”
Y/N’s eyes widened. Was he seriously asking her? Now?
“Well, I…” she muttered, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. “I um…actually just came from there. Had some drinks with a friend.”
Harry caught himself before saying, “Oh, right.” Don’t be daft, Harry. She can’t know. Not yet. Instead, he cleared his throat. “I see.”
God, you’re a moron, Y/N scolded herself. He’s asking you out and you’re saying no?
“But you know…” Y/N quickly thought on her feet, “I may have a bottle of wine at my place. It’s just up there.”
“Really?” Harry cocked a brow as he turned his head in the direction she pointed.
“Sure. That is, if you’d like to come up.”
Would I? “Um, yeah, that sounds…great,” Harry nodded.
Y/N tried to conceal her delight, giving only a casual grin as she turned toward her building. She could feel Harry’s presence behind her, his shadow taller than hers underneath the streetlamp. It made her feel safe, but at the same time a tiny bit apprehensive. She had never invited Harry - nor anyone from the university for that matter - up to her apartment. She didn’t even think he knew where she lived. And yet…here he was. Just when she’d been thinking of him.
When she reached her front door, she scrambled for her keys, dropping them on the ground.
“Shit,” she cursed, but before she could bend down to retrieve them, another hand held them out in front of her.
“Oh. Thanks,” she whispered, her eyes meeting Harry’s who was already standing beside her, his body so close that she almost gasped.
“You’re welcome.”
Y/N didn’t miss the way his tone was so incredibly low, she felt it vibrate in her chest. She also didn’t miss the way his gaze didn’t leave her face, even when she inserted the key in the door.
“I really need to use the restroom,” she announced as soon as they were inside. “I’m so sorry. That beer I had earlier went right through me.”
“No worries,” Harry chuckled.
“Have a seat,” Y/N gestured with a smile. “I’ll be right back.”
As soon as she had shut the bathroom door, Harry slipped out of his coat, placing it on the armrest of a nearby chair. He then walked casually around the room, inspecting knick knacks and books on the shelves. Spotting a photo in a frame, he picked it up, Y/N’s smile gazing back at him as he felt a sudden rush. As though he’d been shocked with electricity, he quickly set it back on the shelf.
“Sorry about that!” he heard Y/N sing behind him.
He turned with a smile. Somehow in the few seconds she was gone, she had managed to make herself look even more…inviting. She wore an oversized jumper with the University logo on it and a pair of plaid flannel pajama pants. She couldn’t have looked cuter if she had been dolled up for a night out. But as she stepped closer to him, Harry got a massive whiff of her aroma and nearly stumbled backwards.
“So…wine!” she pointed at Harry with a giggle before turning for the kitchen.
“You know,” Harry swallowed, “we could take a raincheck if you like. I know you’re probably tired and…” His words stalled when he saw the disappointed look on her face.
“I just don’t want to put you out,” he finished.
“Oh, you’re not!” Y/N insisted. Then she reached for glasses in the cupboard, softly adding, “I’m actually glad you’re here.”
“You are?”
“Mhm,” she nodded, sucking in her lips. “I wanted to ask you something.”
“Really?” Harry raised a brow.
Y/N felt the color rise on her face as she poured the wine. “I assume you’ve heard of the Halloween party?”
“I have. It’s at that pub, right?”
“Right. Are you going?” Y/N hesitantly handed Harry a glass.
“Thanks,” he said, taking a sip before making eye contact. “Um, hadn’t really thought about it, honestly.”
“Oh.”
“Why? Are you going?”
Y/N sighed as she leaned against the counter. “I wasn’t planning on it, but…my friend Lauren’s going, and her boyfriend Josh. A couple other people I know said they probably will…so…”
“You don’t have a date?”
Y/N stood up straight, her eyes wide. “Oh, it wouldn’t have to be like a date or anything,” she explained hastily. “Just…you know…thought you might like to go.”
“Ah,” a smirk grew on Harry’s handsome face. Damn it.
“I mean, I’ve never really seen you outside of school other than tonight, and…you totally don’t have to-”
“I’d love to,” he interrupted.
A loud exasperated breath blew from between Y/N’s lips. “Really?”
“Yeah,” Harry continued grinning as he walked around the kitchen counter to stand next to Y/N. “I like Halloween. And I like you.”
Y/N’s eyes widened as Harry came closer, his last words hanging in the air. She was almost unsure if she’d heard him correctly. But when he lifted his wine glass to his lips, took a sip and lowered it revealing another smirk, she knew she had.
“You-you do?”
“Of course. I thought I’d made that pretty clear, no?”
“No,” Y/N shook her head, “actually.”
“Shit. I must be terrible at this then.”
Y/N giggled, covering her mouth. “No. I’m horrible at reading signals, I think.”
Harry’s smirk grew into a wide smile. “Well, I reckon that’s out there now. Cheers.”
“Cheers,” Y/N echoed, lifting her glass. When she lowered it, she looked at Harry. “I think this is the first time I’ve seen you without your glasses.”
“Yeah? Well, I…” he patted his chest, “have them in my pocket. I only really need them for reading.”
“Oh.”
“Of which we do a lot,” he added, wiggling his brows.
“Yeah,” Y/N chuckled through a sigh. “Well, you look nice. But you look nice with them, too.”
“Thank you.”
Y/N gestured toward the couch, and Harry followed, taking a seat next to her. As soon as he sat down, however, he got another intoxicating whiff of her aroma. He could tell she was nervous, her heart pumping fast. Closing his eyes, Harry took a moment to get his bearings.
No, not yet, he thought to himself. It’s not time yet.
“This is pretty good wine,” he heard Y/N say. Opening his eyes, he saw her gazing into her glass. “I’m not an expert, but I saw it at the liquor store and the guy there said it was good.”
“It’s delicious,” Harry agreed. “You made a good choice.”
“I have to watch myself though,” Y/N giggled, sitting back on the sofa. “I could easily get drunk on this.”
“Yeah?” Harry smirked.
“Mmm,” Y/N nodded as she took another sip. “I can already see myself going there, and I haven’t even finished one glass.”
Harry chuckled as he took his own sip, a rather larger one than hers. Then setting his empty glass on the coffee table, he scooted closer to Y/N. He could feel the heat radiating off of her, hear her pulse beating in his ears.
He watched her face as he reached for her wine glass and set it down next to his. Her beautiful, pouty lips matched the crimson shade of the wine, and his urge to taste them amplified. Lifting his hand, he ran his thumb across her bottom lip until she delicately opened her mouth, inviting his thumb to graze her tongue.
The contact nearly had him on his knees, his desire more than he could bear. Running his tongue along his teeth, he could feel his fangs emerging. He had to taste her. Now.
Now! Or get out!
The voice inside was getting louder. So much that he almost didn’t have the nerve to stop it. So he did the only thing he could do. The only thing that could possibly be done in that moment if he didn’t want to expose the truth.
No, not yet!
Snapping his hand back, Harry quickly rose from the sofa.
“I…I should go,” he said, his throat dry and harsh.
“Oh!” Y/N gasped as she looked up at him, ashamed and bewildered. “I’m sorry.”
“No, no, don’t be,” Harry shook his head and grabbed his coat. “You did nothing. You’re…you’re enchanting. I just…I have to go. We’ll do this another time, yeah?”
“Okay.”
Y/N followed Harry to the door where he paused for only a moment to look back. She noticed his eyes were glassy, almost clear, bright. She took a step back, astonished.
“I’ll um…see you Monday,” Harry said, lowering his gaze. “Goodnight, Y/N.”
Before she could reply, he was gone, like a cloud of smoke in the night. With a sigh, Y/N shut the door.
What had she done wrong?
Monday afternoon was going by slowly. Y/N looked at the clock. It was barely after five. Harry hadn’t uttered a word about what had happened Friday night. In fact, he was being his old self, very cordial and professional. It was driving Y/N crazy. She snuck a look in his direction as he concentrated on his laptop.
Fuck, Y/N sighed to herself. He’s so sexy with those glasses. And the sweater vest? Kill me now!
Harry suddenly looked up from his computer, his eyes locking with hers as if he had heard her thoughts. His lips began to do that little twitch again as Y/N dropped her pen, an obtrusive clattering sound when it hit the floor.
“What?” Harry finally asked with a smirk.
“Um, nothing,” Y/N scrambled, reaching down for her pen.
God, just ask him! Y/N screamed inwardly. What are you waiting for?
Sitting up at her desk, she noticed Harry had resumed his work, typing on his keyboard. With a sigh, Y/N clicked her pen as she tried to concentrate on something else. Something other than the taste of his stupid thumb on her bottom lip and the way his eyes had gone bright as he’d looked into her soul.
Suddenly, Harry chuckled. The sound was low at first, and Y/N wondered if he was reading something humorous on his laptop. But then the sound grew, and he turned his head to look at her.
“What is it, Y/N?” he asked again.
“What do you mean?” she stared, startled.
“You’re clicking that pen like a mad woman. Something’s up.”
Sitting up straight, Y/N slapped the pen down on the desk. “Sorry. I was just…wondering if you’re okay.”
“Me? I’m not the one acting crazy,” Harry joked.
“I mean…after Friday…”
“Oh…” Harry sighed, sitting back in his chair. Then removing his glasses, he rubbed his eyes. “Yeah, about that, I-”
“It’s okay,” Y/N interrupted, clearing her throat. Though she’d asked the question, she wasn’t sure if she was prepared for an answer. At least not the answer she figured she was about to get. “That was probably a mistake. Mr. Styles.”
“Y/N, no,” he shook his head. Then rising from his chair, he walked toward her, stopping at her desk. “Don’t think that. I just…”
His words trailed off as he surprised Y/N by perching himself on the corner of her desk.
“I like you, Y/N,” he confirmed. “I wasn’t lying about that, and it wasn’t the wine. I just feel the need to…take things slow with you.”
Y/N smiled softly. “I understand.”
“I shouldn’t have run off like that though; that was unfair to you. And I apologize.”
“Apology accepted.”
“Good,” Harry beamed. “So we’re still on for tomorrow?”
“Mhm,” Y/N nodded, biting her lip. “I hope so.”
“Brilliant. I’ll meet you there, yeah?”
Before Y/N could nod again, Harry leaned forward and pinched her chin between his thumb and forefinger. Then he placed a soft kiss on her lips.
“That’s to make up for Friday,” he remarked, his mouth only a whisper away from hers.
“Oh.” Y/N could barely breathe.
“Your lips are delicious. Like that wine.”
Pressing another kiss to her mouth, Harry let out a low, deep groan. Y/N’s chest shook as she was finally able to inhale. When he backed away, she opened her eyes to see his were still closed. She watched as he swallowed hard, his jaw set.
“Harry…” she managed to squeak.
He opened his eyes slowly, and that’s when she noticed. Instead of the glowing crystal shade they had been Friday, they were a deep, dark shade of midnight. Startled once again, she hastily scooted back, her chair scraping against the floor.
“Y/N,” he croaked, slowly blinking. “Please don’t be frightened of me.”
“Your-your eyes!” she gasped. “They k-keep changing.”
“Oh,” Harry chuckled, shaking his head. “I’m sorry. They do that sometimes. When I get…excited.”
“Excited?”
“Nothing to worry about, darling,” he reassured her, rising from the desk. “I’m sort of a…freak of nature.”
Y/N could detect the humorous tone in his words. But still, she remained in her seat, a bit frazzled.
“C’mere,” he said, holding out his hand.
Y/N took it hesitantly, allowing Harry to pull her to her feet. Lifting a hand, he lightly brushed her hair from her shoulder. Then she felt him touch her neck, his large hand gliding across it.
“So lovely,” he cooed, his voice just above a whisper. “Delicate, like a China doll.”
When he pulled her closer, she could feel his breath on her cheek. Then he nibbled at her jaw, sending a wave of desire down to her core.
Holy fuck, what is happening?
She gasped when his tongue met her skin, his other hand gripping her waist. She dug her nails into the front of his sweater, not sure how or where to hold on. As he began to suck on her delicate flesh just beneath her ear, she cried out in pleasure.
“Harry…”
Almost instantaneously, Harry pushed her back against the bookshelves. The thud caused a couple of books to fall off and onto the floor, but Harry continued with his seduction. Y/N lifted her leg, wrapping it around Harry’s in order to feel the friction she now so needed. Running her hands through his hair, she heard him growl in her ear.
“Y/N…I need you.”
“Me too,” she gasped.
When she pulled him even closer, tugging on the waistband of his trousers, however, Harry froze. Then he let out a guttural cry, like a wounded animal.
“Aaauuuuggggghhhhhh!” he screamed. “No!”
Pushing himself away from the bookshelf, he stood before Y/N as she remained still, her eyes wide. Harry appeared to be shaking, as though he was willing himself not to go further.
“Harry?” Y/N whispered.
His eyes shut tight, Harry shook his head. Then gritting his teeth, he motioned toward the door. “Go.”
“What?” Y/N asked incredulously.
“Goooo!” Harry shouted.
“Harry, what’s wrong?”
Folded over at his waist, Harry looked like he was trying to catch his breath. Her fear magnified, thinking something was terribly wrong. Y/N stepped forward, reaching for him.
“No!” he cried.
“Harry, you’re scaring me…”
“Just go. Please. You’re dismissed.”
Quickly, Y/N grabbed her jacket and bag and ran for the door. Turning back, she saw Harry, his back to her as he gripped the edge of the bookshelf. She didn’t dare run back to him, though deep inside she wanted to. She was afraid, not for her own safety…but for his.
Y/N stepped out of the English building into the cool evening air. The sun was just beginning to descend. Before making her way to the parking lot, she looked up at the building, to the window she knew was occupied by Dr. Osborne’s department. She saw no sign of Harry. In fact, the lights had been turned off.
Crossing the street, she felt a cold chill down to her bones. What had just happened? Was Harry ill? Or was he really a ‘freak of nature’ like he’d said? Perhaps he was not the sweet, nerdy guy she’d pinned him to be. Maybe he had some serious demons. Though she felt concerned for him, she wasn’t sure she wanted to find out.
Harry watched her through the pub window again. She was dressed as an angel, of all things. This was too easy, too perfect.
But he might as well have had his eyes closed. He could hear her blood pumping through the glass. Her pulse was so loud, he could barely contain his excitement.
This was it. This would be the night.
“So you’re sure he’s not coming?” asked Lauren as they sat at the bar.
Y/N wasn’t going to show up herself, but she’d already put together an angel costume that she didn’t want to see go to waste.
“I mean, would you?” Y/N raised a brow.
She’d told her friend about the two episodes with Harry, and how both times he’d backed off. She didn’t go into details, though. Nothing about the eye color changing, or how he’d told her to leave. Some things were better left unsaid.
Lauren shrugged. “You never know. He might still show up.”
Josh returned from playing darts with his friends, declaring a new round of drinks was required.
“I think I might sit this one out,” remarked Y/N.
“No, girl, c’mon!” whined Lauren. “We’re here to have fun tonight. No matter what.”
“Okay, fine,” Y/N rolled her eyes.
“Two kamikazes over here!” her friend called out.
When Lauren swiveled around on her stool, Y/N caught the look of awe on her face. Then with a grin, she poked Y/N in the arm. Turning around, she spotted Harry entering the pub, dressed in black from head to toe.
“Yes, Daddy!” Lauren remarked under her breath.
“Harry!” exclaimed Y/N. “You came!”
“I told you I would,” he declared, stepping forward. “And I intend to keep my promises.”
“Look at you, man,” remarked Josh. “Great vampire costume.”
Harry looked down at his coat. He knew his fangs weren’t showing. Not yet. He checked his nails to be sure. Nope, clean and short. Raising his head, he heard Josh cackle.
“I mean, it’s subtle. But the eyeliner and clear eyes are effective.”
Ah. So it was the eyes. He couldn’t help that much. They had been glowing since he’d smelled Y/N’s blood. He’d let the lad think he was wearing makeup. It was Halloween after all.
“I’m so glad you’re here,” said Y/N, her sweet voice ringing out like the angel that she was.
Harry’s lips curled up in a smile. “Me too. Brilliant costume.”
The sound of Lauren clearing her throat cut through the moment before she handed Y/N her cocktail.
“What are you having, Mr. Styles?” she teased, giving Y/N a wink.
“Harry, please,” he insisted. “A glass of merlot would be divine.”
“Divine? Oooh, listen to this scholar!”
Y/N made a face, then turned back to Harry.
“I wasn’t sure you’d show up. After yesterday.”
“Yeah, I need to talk to you about that,” he said, shoving his hands in his coat pockets. “But later, okay? In private?”
“Okay.”
After Harry received his merlot, everyone made a toast. As soon as “Thriller” began to play, Lauren cheered, pulling Josh off his stool to dance with her.
“They had a head start,” Y/N commented with a giggle.
“No, I’m late, and I apologize. But I can catch up,” Harry winked.
The evening progressed, the foursome sharing laughs and cocktails. Some other people from the university recognized Harry and came over to say hello. As the clock ticked on, however, Harry knew his time was getting limited.
“I need to talk to you now,” he told Y/N. “Walk with me?”
“Oh. Okay,” she slipped down from her stool and announced her departure to her friends.
“Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do,” Lauren teased before waving goodbye.
“Are you okay to walk?” Harry asked once they were outside.
“I think so,” she smirked. “You may need to carry me.”
“I could probably manage that,” Harry chuckled.
The cool night air seemed to help, however, and by the time they rounded the corner of the pub, the couple was holding hands.
“I had a great time,” declared Y/N. “I’m so glad you came.”
“Me too.”
“So what did you want to tell me?”
“First, I wanna show you something.”
Harry squeezed her hand, guiding her to the left behind the pub. Y/N chuckled to herself as she heard the beat of “Time Warp”, the volume getting lower before she and Harry came to the local park.
Harry gestured toward a bench, taking a seat next to her. Y/N wrapped her arms around herself.
“Are you cold?” asked Harry.
“A little. I didn’t bother with a coat because…you know, wings.”
“You’ll be much warmer soon,” he commented.
Y/N turned to give Harry a look but noticed his eyes were focused on the sky.
“What is it?” Y/N inquired.
“Just looking at the moon,” Harry replied. “It’s mystifying, isn’t it?”
“Yeah…I guess.”
Harry could feel his eyes changing already, his teeth sharpening in his mouth. Running his tongue across them, he swallowed hard.
“Do you ever wonder if you’re destined to be something else?” he suddenly asked.
“Um…yeah,” Y/N blinked. “All the time.”
“What would you do if you were immortal?”
Harry turned his head then, and Y/N noticed his eyes were dark, like they had been in the English office. She instantly scooted back on the bench, nearly falling off.
“Please don’t be frightened, my angel. I mean no harm to you.”
“Harry, what’s….what’s going on?” she croaked, her own eyes unable to tear away from his.
Harry reached his hand out, his nails now long with pointed ends. Y/N gasped, her mouth wide open.
“Let me show you, Y/N,” he coaxed, grabbing her hand. “There’s nothing to be afraid of, my love. It’s our destiny.”
Before Y/N could reply, Harry’s mouth covered hers in a deep kiss. He could feel her struggle to break free for just a split second before she melted into the kiss with him. Cradling the back of her head, he deepened the kiss further, his tongue wrestling with hers. He felt her moan against him, and that pleased him.
She grabbed hold of the lapels on his coat, pulling him closer. Wrapping his other arm around her waist, he held her tight as his mouth continued to devour hers. He heard her start to whimper, and he couldn’t help but chuckle low. His angel. She needed him.
Y/N gasped as Harry’s mouth moved to her neck. She felt him nibble along the delicate flesh, her senses reeling. Suddenly, he groaned in her ear, his voice deep.
“It’s time, my angel.”
Time? Time for what?
Before the words could escape her lips, she felt a sharp sting followed by the most blissful, orgasmic sensation she’d ever experienced. The blood in her veins seemed to rush so rapidly, and so loudly that she could hear it, like waves crashing in her ears. She threw her head back as Harry held onto her, his mouth never leaving her neck.
She thought she called out in ecstasy, though she was unsure if it was only in her mind. She grasped at Harry’s arms, needing to feel him, to hold him for fear of falling.
The pleasure began to heighten even more, Y/N’s nails digging into Harry’s coat until she was suddenly cloaked in darkness, as though the world had gone black.
“Y/N…”
She heard the soft, low coo before she opened her eyes.
“Wake up, angel,” he said.
“Harry…” she whispered, her throat dry. “What…?”
Feeling her tremble, he pulled her close. “Shh, baby. Everything’s okay now. I’m right here.”
“Where are we?” she inquired, gazing around the dark room, filled with lit candles.
“My bed,” Harry grinned.
“Oh.”
And just like that, Y/N didn’t even question it. Being in Harry’s room, with him in his bed felt…natural. Almost like deja vu. Lush linens, the smell of plums and incense. Her warm, naked body next to his. It felt familiar. It was right.
Seeing that Y/N was now content, Harry smiled wide. Then sliding his hand up her side, he cupped her breast. Her eyelids fluttered as she let out a long moan.
“Ah, you’re ultra sensitive now, hmm?” Harry commented as he ran his thumb across her nipple.
“Harry…mmm…”
Rolling onto her side, she pulled him into a kiss, needing to feel him. She sucked on his tongue, grabbed his hard cock. She was hungry with lust.
“Easy, baby,” he panted. “We have all the time in the world.”
“But I need you now,” she explained with a pout.
With a raspy chuckle, Harry laid her back on the bed, hovering over her luscious body.
“I wanna taste you first,” he insisted.
Biting her lip, Y/N nodded. Yes, taste me.
His long body slithered down hers until he was facing her hips and thighs. Her scent permeated the sheets, and he found a moan rising from his throat.
My delicious angel.
Y/N let out a loud cackle when Harry lightly tickled her bare skin along her hips. Harry grinned, knowing her sensitivity was accelerated. But it was not just his touch that had her laughing. It was the mere awareness of everything. Being in the moment. The utter bliss and sexual desire was almost more than her senses could handle.
Harry could hardly contain his desire either. He needed to taste her, to feel her writhing underneath him. But he also wanted to take it slow.
He rutted his head against the inside of her legs, like a dog wanting to be petted. He felt her nails dig into his hair, grabbing his curls just before he began to nibble on her thigh. As her moans got louder, ringing in his ears and throughout the room, Harry wondered how long he could hold out - or better yet, how long she could hold out.
With wild abandon, he let himself be the freak of nature he claimed to be. He heard her squeal before her expletive.
“Holy shit, did you just bite me?”
“Maybe,” he chuckled low. “Did it hurt?”
“Actually…no. Do it again.”
With another grin, Harry ran his thumbs across her bare flesh along her inner thigh.
“I love your skin here,” he commented. “It’s so soft and supple.”
Then lowering his head again, he let his fangs graze down her leg and back up. He felt Y/N tremble beneath him, a small cry rising from her throat. Then very gently, he pressed a little harder, barely piercing the skin.
Y/N moaned in pleasure as Harry licked the area clean, tasting her sweet blood on his tongue. Then he moved his tongue to the task at hand - what he’d come for. Centering his mouth over her mound, he let out a cool breath, tickling her. She squirmed beneath him, her desire silent but apparent. She craved him just as much as he craved her. Then lifting her hips, he brought his tongue to her clit, giving it one quick flick before diving in.
If there was one thing Harry knew he was good at - other than his knowledge of English literature - it was eating pussy. And now that he was a creature of the night, he could do it for hours, for days. Of course, having a sweet angel like Y/N beneath him was all he needed now.
Y/N’s moans began to subside a bit, but Harry knew it was not because she wasn’t enjoying it. On the contrary. She was so enraptured by his talent, she could barely breathe.
Sweet little kitten. He almost felt sorry for her, but not really. He knew this was what she wanted, what she was destined for. He’d felt it the first time they’d met. Her wide-eyed stare when she thought he wasn’t looking. Her cute little shy giggles at every stupid joke he made. The intoxicating aroma of her blood rushing through her veins. And when she’d finally invited him up to her flat…
“Oh my God…” she panted, her nails digging into his head. “Oh!”
Harry hummed against her cunt, tasting her sweet juices. He knew she was close. He’d let her come this time. She needed it. Needed that release. Just this once. Next time he’d make her ride it out longer, because he knew she could.
As his lips took hold of her clit once more, sucking gently, Y/N gasped. Then crying his name, she gushed and came on his tongue, just like he’d wanted.
Her orgasm lasted longer than any she’d had before…not that she could recall even one in that moment. Her chest heaved with breaths as she tried to come down. She felt Harry’s body climb up before he laid down next to her.
“How do you feel, my angel?” Harry cooed.
With a deep, long sigh, Y/N gave a wide grin.
“Perfect. Absolutely perfect,” she replied, fluttering her eyelids open to reveal her crystal clear eyes.

hereby
i officially request a blurb for vamprry
theyre too cute to be forgotten
ok your wish is my command <3333 a little vampy h check-in!!!
. . .
It’s around 10 pm when she gets the text that he’s coming over.
This happens a few times a week and yet, every time, a flurry of nerves bats at her stomach, creeping up into her bones even if she’s doing nothing but sitting on the couch and watching crappy reality TV. As soon as his name flashes across her phone screen, accompanied by the words “on way”, she springs into action, quickly tinkering at her appearance to make sure she looks presentable for him.
She’s not exactly sure why she does it. She’s not sure if Harry, the vampire that’s been feeding from her since October, even cares for her beyond her blood. She’s sure that her little crush is one-sided, if not just a result of being entirely intimidated by his gorgeous face and smooth accent.
The routine is as follows: He texts her when he’s coming over to feed, and it only happens at night because it’s exhausting for her and he wants to make sure she can go to bed as soon as possible after he’s done. He shows up, they make whatever small talk humans and vampires can make, and then he plops down gracefully on her couch, pats his thigh once, and, like a trained puppy, she sits. He makes sure she’s eaten, hydrated, and feeling up to it, and then he drinks her blood.
The thing is, though… sometimes more happens, and that’s what confuses Y/N. Sometimes she ruts against his length just as she did that first night and it’s not even a question of taking care of her after — as soon as he’s sure she’s not too fuzzy, he’ll latch his mouth onto her pussy and nearly makeout with it until she’s coming messily in his mouth. She supposes, at best, maybe they’re some sort of friends with benefits situation, but could she even call them friends? Maybe it was more so acquaintances with benefits.
“You need to start locking that.”
Her anxieties are interrupted when she hears Harry’s voice boom through her apartment. She peers up from the couch to see him in his typical expensive looking outfit — despite it being 20 degrees out, he’s still in a black silk shirt, unbuttoned down to the middle of his chest. It basically screams I’m a vampire!, especially in comparison to Y/N’s bundled up form in a sweatshirt and leggings.
“I knew you were coming, and you always get in whether it’s locked or not,” she explains shortly. He toes off his heeled boots and he makes a tsk-ing noise, as if she’s disappointed for providing a solution to something he already does.
“Yeah, but the difference is that I’m a nice vampire. What if a not so nice vampire breaks in one day?”
Y/N shrugs. “Wouldn’t they be able to break in even if my door was locked?”
He rolls his eyes and sits down on the blue velvet couch next to her. He grabs a throw pillow and places it in his lap, then pats it lightly. “C’mon, you. ‘M hungry.”
“Isn’t that why you come here?” she replies sassily, rising up onto her knees. He grabs her hips and she lets out an embarrassing yelp as he places her on his thigh.
“What’s gotten into you?” he asks, nudging her form closer. She shivers from his cool touch. “Where’d my nice human go?”
“I’m just saying,” she sighs, though she reaches up to knuckle tiredly at her eye, “You only come here when you wanna eat. True?”
Harry shrugs, looping his fingers around her wrist to bring her arm down. “I come here for more reasons than that.”
“Like?”
He huffs, “I’m gonna start coming by earlier if you’re always this snarky when you’re tired.”
“Don’t you have other people you feed from?” she pushes. Harry lets out a frustrated sigh and presses his palms to her thighs. Even if vampires don’t need sleep, he’ll admit that he’s tired, and hungry, and he’s still not quite sure why Y/N’s being so stubborn tonight.
“No,” he mumbles, brushing some of her hair away from her neck. “Can I eat now?”
She tilts her head to the side, confused. “You don’t?”
“Isn’t that what I just said?”
“I just thought you had others—“
“I used to,” he explains curtly, flipping her wrist over to glance down at her veins. “Now I don’t. It’s just you. Did you eat dinner? Drink enough water?”
She nods, though his words stick in her brain.
“Okay. I’m gonna bite now. I’m hungry, yeah?”
Again, she nods obediently, already anticipating the gooey, melty feeling that comes along with being bitten into.
“If you’re good, I’ll give you a treat after.” He murmurs as he noses at her throat, sending a chill down her spine. He smirks and she can feel the quirk of his lips against her skin. “But only if you stop asking stupid questions. Got it?”
And maybe, just maybe, he bites her so she doesn’t even have a chance to reply.

➯ Y/N AND HARRY GO TO A HALLOWEEN PARTY AND HARRY HAS THE PERFECT COSTUME. ✰ vampire!harry small warning for a minor encounter with some gross men. suggestive themes. 𝑤𝑐 4k
Tumblr media
Halloween has always been disappointing for Y/N. Every year, the air gets colder and the leaves float down from their branches, and the shops start to stock spooky decorations and pumpkin spice candles. Warm orange and brown hues become the trendy colours and people finally snuggle down in their sweatshirts and jackets that they’ve had stuffed in their wardrobe all year.
It all sounds so perfect, and romantic, and every time October rolls around, Y/N thinks: this year will be better! She pictures herself watching scary movies every night, wrapped in her thickest blanket, with a warm drink and she gets giddy with excitement. And all the hype leading up to Halloween persuades her to stay optimistic. But then the day arrives and her best friend hosts the most amazing party, as always, and Y/N attends in her costume (which she is never completely satisfied with) and leaves inevitably underwhelmed.
Harry, on the other hand, loves Halloween. Well, maybe loves is an exaggeration but he never takes the freedom for granted when the day rolls around. Yet he never relents the rolling of his eyes and the pointing out of all the pathetic ‘vampires’—“We do not look like that,” he would grumble in Y/N’s ear, his mental script of complaints completely memorised in her head.
Of course, he’s never admitted that he doesn’t completely despise the holiday, but Y/N notices the way he ever so slightly lets his excitement show at the fact he doesn’t have to conceal his true self, even if it’s just for one night a year. So since meeting him, her disappointment has subsided; replaced with happiness for her boyfriend, and she’d never take that away.
However, currently, she is really dreading leaving their house, dressed in a costume that she knows is unoriginal. She thinks that’s the worst part of Halloween—the trying so hard to wear something new and cool whilst simultaneously maintaining the ability to blend it. It stresses Y/N out far too much for something that is supposed to be harmless fun. And it’s not like Drew Barrymore in Scream isn’t indisputably iconic, but has it been done too much? She’s staring at herself in the floor-length bedroom mirror, trying not to adjust her blonde wig for the umpteenth time and delaying the completion of the final part of her costume, just in case.
“Love? Are you nearly ready?” Harry pops his head around the door, catching Y/N’s frown before she can hide it. “Oh, you haven’t done the blood yet,” he walks over and stands behind her, brushing his lips along the shell of her ear. “Do you want my help? It’ll be undeniably realistic.” He catches her eyes in the mirror before making a dramatic noise and pretending to bite into her neck, shaking his head with exaggeration.
Y/N releases a stream of giggles and squirms in his grip. “Harry! Drew Barrymore wasn’t bitten by a vampire!” She’s smiling as he stops his relentless tickling and looks at her again, a shameless grin plastered on his face, fangs gleaming proudly.
“I know, but it made you smile,” he places a soft kiss on her neck and rests his chin on her shoulder, squeezing her waist. “Why’re you all pouty, hm?”
“I dunno, I’m just nervous about my costume,” she shrugs, fiddling with the hem of her sweater. “Do I look lame?” Harry lifts his head with a frown of his own.
“No lovie, never. Y’look so pretty, always,” he grabs at her fretting fingers, holding them in his warm palms. “Look at me,” he’s gentle in turning her around, away from the mirror that’s breaking her down. Pulling their joined hands up, Harry dots little pecks on as much of her skin as he can find, manoeuvring her palms open to continue his onslaught of affection.
“Harry—” she starts, watching him with big eyes.
“You look infinitely better than any of the morons that try to dress up like vampires. They’re lame. Your costume is unmistakable, yeah?” He looks at her expectantly, like he does when he wants her to show she’s listening. She nods, turning back around to see herself. “I mean, look at what I’m wearing. I’m not dressed up at all—bet that will really rile some people up,” he boasts, pride in his voice.
“Oh, I’m sure I’ve got a cape in my wardrobe somewhere,” Y/N teases, smiling at Harry’s sudden scowl. Immediately, his hands find her waist and he’s lifting her off the ground easily to turn her around in his arms, eliciting a squeal from Y/N as he trudges to the bathroom and places her on the counter.
“Don’t think I won’t bite you tonight. I’d get away with it,” he taunts, watching as Y/N’s eyes widen momentarily.
She gasps, “But that’s private, Harry! You don’t want anyone seeing me like that, I know you,” chancing her luck.
He only seems encouraged. “You shouldn’t have said that, love, now I’m tempted,” he smiles, pointed canines shining as his irises flood with red. “Come on, let’s get you all bloody,” he reaches for the bottle of fake blood sat next to Y/N. “Where do you want it?”
“Everywhere,” she grins.
Harry is right. His lack of costume does rile some people up… until he bares his teeth, and he’s met with ohh’s and what kind of vampire wears a sweater vest? Y/N thinks he looks perfect, because why would he dress any differently than normal? He was her Harry, in his flared trousers and sweater vests and chunky cardigans. She makes sure to tell him this as soon as the unimpressed crowd disperses. “Think all vampires should dress like you. You’re a fashion pioneer.” He looks down at her, an amused smile on his lips.
“A fashion pioneer? You’re cute,” he coos, as he gives her chin a little squeeze between his thumb. She begs to differ, right now, with the amount of fake blood that is caked in her sweater and up her neck, but she leans into his touch with a smile. “You want a drink?” he asks and she hums in reply, as he intertwines their fingers and walks them in the direction of the kitchen.
The atmosphere is electric, colour changing lights beating in time with the music that seems to be blaring from every corner, as they weave through bodies. Y/N catches a glimpse of the TV playing a horror movie in front of a sofa littered with people not paying it any attention. She’s hyper aware of the lack of recognisable faces, senses heightened with more anxiety than excitement. Harry squeezes her hand, noticing her wandering eyes, face not quite hiding her dazed expression. Her grip tightens in return, looking up at him with a small smile on her face.
“What do you want to drink?” Harry asks once they reach the kitchen, lifting her onto the island and moving to inspect the fridge’s contents.
She hums in brief thought, “Surprise me,” swinging her legs, gazing at her boyfriend’s back like it is the canvas Van Gogh painted The Starry Night on. Harry rolls his eyes at her unhelpful answer, and just pours a vodka lemonade.
“I’m sure you’ll be very surprised by this exotic beverage,” he drawls, handing her the cup and standing in between her legs with his hands on top of her thighs.
Y/N giggles as she takes a sip. “S’yummy though, thank you,” she says. “Gimme kiss.” Her lips form a pout as she tilts her head back expectantly. Harry pulls her to the edge of the counter, arms wrapping her up as he places a peck on her waiting mouth. She kisses back, attempting to suppress her smile and failing miserably. “Another one.”
“Manners, baby,” he teases, nudging her nose with his.
“Please,” she drags out, leaning forward, trying to catch his lips in hers but he doesn’t let her reach. “Harry,” she frowns. He relents and kisses her again as she relaxes in his grip.
“Y/N! You’re here!” The sound has the pair pulling away from each other abruptly, the shrill excitement coming from the lively woman bursting their bubble of contentment. Y/N smiles brightly at Sarah, in her Daphne costume, as she all but bounds up to the island in which she is perched. “And Harry, of course. It’s nice to see you too,” she teases.
“Sarah,” Harry nods, stepping away from his girlfriend’s body to allow her to jump down and greet Sarah as they always do; in a hug that would suggest they hadn’t seen each other in years. Y/N is careful to hold her glass away from Sarah’s back as she sways them from side to side.
“Do you mind if I steal her for a moment?” she asks Harry, arms not breaking the hug. Y/N’s back is facing him but she can almost hear his knowing smile, as if Sarah’s question had needn’t even been asked.
“I think I can allow that.”
“Will you be okay?” Y/N turns around to face him, a look of sincere worry on her face, aware that neither of them really know anyone at this party.
“I’m sure I’ll cope just fine, petal,” he reaches out his fingers to brush lightly against her cheek and she leans into him gently, eyes widening to take in as much as possible of the man in front of her.
“I’ll come back, promise.”
“Promise!” Sarah chimes in, “Promise, I’ll give her back.” She slips her hand into Y/N’s and softly pulls her along as they exit the kitchen. Just as they’re walking under the doorframe, Sarah leans over and whispers, “He’s so sweet to you.”
Y/N can only smile and reply, “I know,” picturing Harry leaning against the counter with a similar expression as he hears the words without even the slightest strain.
Sarah lets go of her hand once they’ve reached upstairs and stopped outside her bedroom door. They’re hardly settled on top of her bed until she’s asking, “So, what’s Harry come as then?”
Y/N smiles to herself, “He’s a vampire.”
“Vampires don’t dress like that,” she says, unconvinced.
“Says who?” Y/N shrugs, “They don’t exist, Sarah.”
“Yeah but—” she sighs, exasperated, “It’s Halloween! There’s nothing scary about a man in jeans and a sweater vest.”
Y/N hums, “I would argue that gives him the element of surprise, no? Looks unassuming so you barely give him a second thought, but then he opens his mouth to reveal rows and rows of razor sharp teeth,” her fingers prod into Sarah’s sides to elicit a squeal. “Pretty effective if you ask me.”
Sarah wiggles away and rolls her eyes, “Whatever. I’m just saying he isn’t winning any prizes for originality.”
Y/N cackles, “And you are?” she waves a hand at her great, but overdone, purple getup.
“Heyyyy,” she whines, swatting at Y/N, “let’s move on.”
About forty minutes and an undetermined number of drinks later, Sarah and Y/N are whirling in giggles, blathering nonsense so jumbled that no one else would even attempt to translate. They have long since caught up on each other’s lives since the last time they’d spoken (which, whilst they do text everyday, they don’t always dive into the details, leaving them with news to share when they finally find time to meet in person) and quickly delved into meaningless chatter which becomes less and less intelligible the more they drink, especially when Sarah remembers the bottle of wine she’s been keeping in her room for emergencies. (Y/N tries to argue that ‘no one keeps wine in their room for emergencies’ but soon ignores the peculiarity of it for the chance to have a nice swig from the bottle.)
They’re both lying on their backs on top of Sarah’s bed and it falls silent for a minute, the alcohol finally making them sleepy, and the lack of conversation to focus on, along with Y/N’s tipsy—bordering on drunk—state, is really making her miss Harry.
“I’m going to find H,” Y/N sits up slowly. Sarah has her eyes closed but she acknowledges her with a hum.
“I think I’ll call Mitch,” she yawns.
“Isn’t he downstairs?”
“Yeah, but I don’t wanna move,” she smiles sleepily, curling into her side and pressing further into her mattress. Y/N only giggles before nudging her phone closer to her idle hands. “I’ll see you before you go, yeah?”
“Of course you will,” Y/N assures, before getting up and shutting the door behind her. She takes the stairs slowly, aware that she is most definitely more drunk than tipsy and hoping that Harry is easy to find.
The crowds haven’t died down in the time that they’ve been upstairs and Y/N is reminded, as she is every year, that Sarah knows how to throw a really good party—which is unfortunate in this moment when Y/N can hardly see through the masses of people.
Deciding to go back to where she last saw Harry, Y/N heads towards the kitchen, blocking out her surroundings as much as possible in order to focus. She has a poor sense of settings when she’s sober, let alone drunk, so she really doesn’t see the footstool as she trips into it, hand shooting out to grab hold of anything that will keep her balanced. What she doesn’t equate for, is the thing she grabs onto being a complete stranger whose cup gets jolted by Y/N’s sudden movement, spilling the near entirety of it down his front.
“What the fuck?” The stranger startles, head whipping towards a very distressed Y/N who has her hands held up in surrender, apologies bubbling out.
“Oh my God, I’m so sorry!” She is merely met with a sneer, the faces of the rest of his group all matching his own expression as he tries to dry his arm off with a shake. Her cheeks are heated, heart thumping with embarrassment.
“Stupid bitch,” he spits. “Drunk girls like you should be more careful.” Y/N’s brows pinch, words slicing deeper than she’d like to admit; the half a dozen men in creepy costumes having their desired effect in making her uncomfortable.
“I—I’m really sorry, I didn’t mean to bump into you—”
“No shit,” the man rolls his eyes and some of his friends smirk—stares patronising. “Now fuck off princess,” he pauses and Y/N can see his next words forming before he says them, “before I suggest you apologise some way else.” His friends all smile and Y/N feels her breath catch, foot stepping back and making its way to turn when her back collides with something.
She jolts her head to see and swears her bottom lip wobbles in relief when she finds it’s Harry, immediately melting into his chest as she feels his knuckle stroke her forearm softly.
“And what would you suggest, hm?” Harry asks in a seemingly unbothered tone, but Y/N can only imagine what his eyes are saying. She doesn’t have to imagine the look of regret on the man’s face at his sudden arrival.
He laughs awkwardly, “Ah, come on man, she knocked into me. Reckon you should keep an eye on her.” Y/N wishes she felt angry, but her emotions are frazzled from the alcohol and the way he’s talking about her is so mean and just plain sexist and she wants to leave. But before Y/N can turn around, Harry’s voice drops and he grits out:
“You’re a pig. Apologise to her,” and Y/N knows that voice—knows his pupils have widened and his jaw is clenched. She gasps slightly, surprised by his blatant public display.
The man stutters, face immediately apologetic, “I—I’m sorry,” he stammers, unblinking, but Harry isn’t impressed and he clears his throat, urging him to continue. “You’re not stupid, a—and I was in your way, if anything!” he laughs slightly but his face is void of humour, and Y/N can’t look him in the eyes, knowing they’ll look trapped.
“And you’ll treat women with nothing but the utmost respect, yes?” Harry pushes, fingers sliding down to Y/N’s own, telling her he’s nearly done.
“Yes! Yes, of course,” the man rushes out, head nodding maniacally, and Harry hums, seemingly satisfied before squeezing her hand and pulling them both away from the bemused group and their mesmerised friend. Y/N hears their instant jeers of what the fuck was that, you pussy? and that was weak, man—she’s heavily overwhelmed by the whole thing; Harry rarely displays that in front of her.
He guides her back upstairs but into the spare bedroom this time, before locking the door. Y/N lets go of his hand and immediately crawls onto the bed, flopping onto her stomach. Harry walks around the side and sits down, pulling one knee up onto the mattress. She’s frowning, bottom lip jutted out and eyes red.
“Are you okay, baby?” He brushes her wig away from her face, fingertips tracing the top of her ear.
“I’m drunk,” she blinks at him. “You did your scary vampire voice.”
He frowns, “I didn’t scare you, did I?”
“No silly, you came to my rescue. You always take care of me.” She feels her eyes well up, emotions overwhelming.
“Don’t cry, petal.” Harry cradles her face, leaning down to brush his lips against her cheek, and then his nose against hers. She rolls onto her back and pulls him on top of her with an ease that he makes available only for her. Fingertips digging into his back lets him know she wants his weight on her, as he drops his lower half down to meet hers and leans on his forearms that rest on either side of her head. A single tear escapes her eye and drips down onto the sheet before Harry has the chance to swipe it away with a thumb. She’s got a small smile on her face though, as she takes him in, pupils dilated.
“I love you.” She whispers. How could she not?
Harry’s heart nearly beats then; swear he feels it swell. He would never react any differently to those three words coming from her lips. “I love you too. Make me so happy, you know that?” He moves a hand to hold the top of her head. She nods softly, eyes closing as she feels him scratch lightly through the wig.
“Take it off.” she whispers as he gently pulls, the blonde bob coming away in his hand as Y/N lets out a sigh of relief that turns into a moan when Harry takes away the tie holding her hair in place and continues to massage her scalp. She leans her head into his hands, neck stretching out, and Harry leaves a kiss on his favourite spot. “Will you bite me, H?” His ministrations stutter slightly.
“I was only joking earlier, love.” He angles her head back up. “Look at me,” his voice is so soft it’s melting. She whines at the lack of movement in her hair but opens her eyes to meet his. The sincerity of his gaze would be intense if she didn’t know just how much he cared. “We’ve never done that outside of home before.”
“I know. Want you to. Please?” She knows Harry is questioning her ability to make rational decisions but she’s never been more sure of anything. “Makes me feel better. You make me feel better.” His eyebrows pinch slightly, before he’s dipping his head down to connect their lips. Y/N opens up immediately, making one of the little noises Harry has come to crave so much, pulling him into her—desperately clawing at his back. He pulls away with a quiet smacking sound; she tries to chase him and he can’t help the way his lips curve as he watches her blindly search for him. Her eyes blink open slowly, a faint frown on her face.
“Only a little bite,” his gaze hardens slightly, “okay?” pulling her bottom lip down with his thumb. She nods urgently and Harry can tell she’s one moment away from being unable to effectively communicate. So he complies, cupping her face and pressing a quick but ardent kiss to her mouth before trailing pecks across her cheek and down her jaw. Y/N can’t help but melt into the mattress, letting her brain switch off from any thought that isn’t about Harry and the way he feels against her skin. He is encompassing all of her senses entirely, just the way they both know she loves.
She keens when he nibbles her neck slightly—one hand cradling her jaw with the other one buried in her hair—angling her head the way he likes. When he kisses the spot he wants to mark and licks once, her breath catches in anticipation and he brushes his thumb across her cheek in understanding before sinking his teeth in; inexplicably grateful. Y/N twitches at the contact—much less than she used to when they first started doing this. Still, a fragmented moan gets caught in her throat as she feels his lips suction around the bite, feeding from her—although she feels she gains far more from this than he does, especially in this moment.
The floating feeling that Y/N knows she is safest in, that has slowly been creeping into her head ever since Harry found her downstairs, suddenly hits her full force when he groans into her neck—the weight of his body still comforting her endlessly. Her hands move from his back to grasp onto his hair which only makes him press into her further, heat swarming both of their bodies as they spur each other on.
But he pulls away entirely too soon, licking a fat stripe up her neck where a couple of drops have trickled and placing one last kiss over his tooth marks. Y/N whines, bucking her hips in a plea. Harry pulls away from her neck and she sees his red irises slowly ebb back to their viridescent hue.
“None of that, I told you it would only be a little bite.” He watches her pout, big watery eyes ready to beg. So he changes his tactic, leaning his mouth down to her ear before whispering, “Can’t take care of you properly here, don’t want you getting too worked up, yeah?” He smiles against the shell of her ear when she whines again. But he’s serious, looking at her again in her disheveled state. “And you’re drunk, my love,” but Y/N doesn’t want to hear it, too far gone to accept that he is right, as she tries to pull his head back down to hers. He doesn’t budge, hands firmly planted at either side of her head.
“Please, Harry, please,” her bottom lip wobbles; she hates it when he resists like that, not even letting her pretend she’s strong enough to shift him. “Please.” She feels her eyes well up at his furrowed brows. His thumb brushes across her own eyebrow and then under the eye that a tear escapes from, and he feels very reminiscent of about ten minutes prior. Only this time he can tell there’s something off; she is overwhelmed for a different reason.
“Are you feeling floaty, baby?” he asks, gently stroking her hair. And that’s all it takes for her face to scrunch up and her nodding to shake more tears down her cheeks.
“I’m sorry,” her voice is thick, “I didn’t mean to, I’m sorry.”
“Shh, don’t apologise. Done nothing wrong, okay?” He kisses her tears away, and then he’s kneeling back, pulling her with him and onto his lap, guiding her legs to cross behind him. “You’re so good.” He tucks her head under his chin and Y/N feels herself melt into him immediately, ear pressed over his heart even though she knows it won’t beat. “Never apologise for feeling floaty.” She nods against his chest and he tightens his grip around her. “How about I take us home and run you a nice bath, yeah? Would you like that?”
Y/N immediately lifts her head up, glistening eyes hopeful. “Yes please,” she stares up at him, “Will you get in with me?”
“Of course I will, darlin’,” Harry traces her features slowly with his forefinger, smiling as her eyes flutter closed and she leans forward slightly. “And I’ll make you feel good in the morning, I promise.” Heat dances across her cheeks, fighting the urge to squirm in his lap—instead pouting her lips and waiting for him to comply. He does and it’s soft, delicate, the most gentle feeling in the world. A kiss to keep her perfectly blurry around the edges as she falls further into the luxury that is someone else’s control. “Let’s go say goodbye,” Harry says into her mouth, standing himself up and letting Y/N stay latched on as they make their way to bid their goodbyes and manoeuvre through the crowds.
She doesn’t bother to hide the bite mark.

I miss vamprry sooo much can you maybe do a cute lil blurb with valentine 😩😍
-
“Want mumma,” Valentine hisses angrily at her father from where she’s sat up in her toddler bed - tiny pearly white fangs flashing at her father.
Harry matches the expression with his much larger, sharper canines exposed with his lip curl up - despite the hellish growl coming from his chest, he feels nothing but fondness for his little hybrid baby.
“Darling, it’s three in the morning. I’m not waking up your mother for you to play dolls. You need to go back to sleep,” Harry informs her, guilt sinking into his stomach when she hides her fangs, plops on her bum, and begins to wail.
“Daddy,” Valentine cries out pathetically, making grabbing hands and Harry is to her side in a moment, scooping her up and making low, nearly inaudible calming coos.
“I know. You just love your mummy so much,” Harry hums, rocking her back and forth, “Why are you so fussy, little one?”
“M’hungry,” Valentine whines, unsatisfied as she roots in her father’s neck and finds no source of blood to feed off of.
“Shall we go hunt?” Harry asks as he pulls back to make eye contact, swiping the curls off her forehead, and noticing the dark flashes in her irises.
Valentine nods, her semi-warm hand coming to rest of her father’s cheeks and pat there.
“I love you, baby bat,” Harry rumbles softly as he bends in to kiss her forehead before they begin to get ready.
-
YN wakes up to an blood curdling scream from her baby.
Any normal mother would be scrambling out of bed, running furiously towards the sounds of the horrifying screams.
However, YN just groans softly and rolls off the bed, knowing that her daughter is having a grade-a tantrum that would put any human child to shame.
“No, want t’sleep, no no no,” Valentine is protesting as she squirms in her father’s grip in the bathroom, her face and clothes are smeared with a red substance, little bits of fur stuck to her little jumper and jeans.
However when Valentine’s eyes lock on her mother, she melts and stops screaming at one, her black eyes turning mossy green again as she whispers, “Mumma, mumma.”
Harry rolls his eyes at his daughter’s behavior because she takes much more after her vampiric side than human.
“Are you giving your daddy a hard time?” YN asks as she steps into start the water for the bath and pulls out a fluffy towel, “It’s only four in the morning. Mummy would like to go back to sleep. Can you let us wash you up and then you can come cuddle?”
Valentine nods immediately, pliant as they begin to wash her - Harry taking on the shampooing of her curls that are knotted with twigs and leaves, and YN who’s scrubbing the animal blood from her cheek.
After she’s wrapped up in fresh pajamas and smushed between her parents in their bed, her face nestled tightly in her mother’s chest and her hand laying over where her father’s hand is on her belly, gripping it tightly so he doesn’t move.

Yours, To Eternity
A side part to Little One
(Au where reader is an Original Vampire from the Vampire Diaries/The Originals. They are in a family of vampires called the Mikaelsons)
Harry wants to be a vampire really bad… but will Y/N give in?
“Lovie?”
I look up at him from my spot on the couch, his eyes gazing at me.
“Yes, Harry?”
He walks over to me and sits next to me, wrapping an arm around me so I can lean into him.
“When you-When you drink blood… does it taste like anything?”
I look at him, my brows furrowed.
“Um… Ive never really actually tried to think of it tasting any way. I don’t drink more than I have to-.”
“And that ring you always wear, it’s so you can walk in the sunlight, isn’t it? What happens if you lose it?”
My mouth gapes, and I have to think for a minute before answering.
“It burns, a little bit is like a sunburn but too much is like a 3rd degree burn..”
He only nods and pulls me closer, turning his attention to the tv.
His questions don’t cease over the next week. He continues to ask more and more about what it’s like being a vampire.
“Y/N!”
I look up from my easel to see a very eager Harry in the doorway of my studio.
“What’s eternal youth like? You’ve been this way for 1000 years right?”
He pulls up an empty chair, his eyes gazing upon me in wonder. I set my brush down and turn to him.
“I guess it depends. I was lonely for a very long time and I hated what I was. But after meeting you… You have my life more meaning. So now I don’t really think of it as having eternal youth, more as living every day to the fullest.”
He nods and takes my hand in his with a smile.
“Have you thought about it? Spending the rest of our lives together? Or maybe even spending eternity together?”
I raise a brow at him but he only smiles.
“I mean I suppose I’ve thought about it once or twice.. Where are you going with this? Are you thinking of asking me to marry you or something?”
He blushes and shrugs. He then insists I stop painting and go on a walk with him. As always, I have a hard time telling him no.
____________________________
It was a slow Saturday morning, and with no plans, we decided to stay in bed and cuddle. Harry held me close, wrapped up in his arms and close to his heart as he would say.
“Y/N… Would you- How would you feel about turning me?”
I pull away from him, my face in complete shock.
“You don’t- What are you talking about Harry?”
He bites his lip and is quiet for a second before he answers.
“Turning me into a vampire…”
I shake my head immediately, disgusted with the idea.
“Absolutely not. I love you, and I always will, but that’s something I just can’t do. I refuse to. I haven’t ever sired anyone and I never plan to.”
He frowns and shakes his head.
“I know you hate being a vampire, but you don’t have to go through it alone! I want to be with you Y/N, for the rest of our lives! You said it yourself, you were miserable before we met, imagine how miserable you’d be once in gone!”
I start to tear up and I continue to shake my head.
“You have no idea what it’s like to sire someone. I’ve had to watch all my siblings do it for decades! Do you have any idea how hard that is?! And becoming a vampire doesn’t essentially mean you’re never going to die! So no Harry, we’re not having this conversation anymore because it’s not happening.”
I get up from the bed and walk out of the bedroom, refusing to talk to him anymore. Our peaceful, relaxing day off is now filled with silence and tension.
I understand what he means but he doesn’t have any idea what that’s like… I could never bring myself to do it…And I don’t want anyone else turning him either…
After almost a full day of not talking, I hear a knock on the door of my studio. I set my charcoal down and turn my head to the door to see Harry.
“Love, can we talk?”
I let out a sigh and I nod. He takes my charcoal covered hands in his and sits down opposite to me.
“This is something I think should be discussed together. I understand your fear, but you can’t just dismiss me like that. I want you to think about it, and I mean really think about it.”
I’m quiet for a minute before I nod.
“I think we should go visit my family. Elijah is the best to explain this to you… I just don’t think I can bring myself to do that to you… and I don’t want anyone else to either… It’s awful Harry! It’s not like it is in the movies! I’d have to-.”
He takes me into his arms and cradles my shaking body, quietly shushing me.
“Shh. I won’t make you talk any more about it. We’ll go see your siblings. If that is what will help you then that’s what we’ll do. We’ll leave in the morning.”
I only nod and sniffle. Harry rocks me slowly, kissing my head every little while until I fall asleep.
>>>—————————->
“Your family has a place in New Orleans?”
I only nod, squeezing his hand tight before letting out a shaky breath.
“The Mikaelsons practically built the French quarter, until we were chased out by our father. We were very happy here for a time..”
Harry squeezes my hand and together we walk into the house.
“Lijah! I’m here!”
Harry closes the door and out of nowhere pops Niklaus, scaring the daylights out of Harry.
“Jesus-.”
“What, does my dear sister not do that to you, Harry? I’m surprised you’re scared.”
Harry shakes his head and I can only roll my eyes.
“Well done Niklaus, top form as always. Where’s Elijah?”
Klaus only shrugs and smiles.
“I have no idea where our elder brother is and he refused to tell me why you were coming to visit..”
“Klaus, leave our little sister alone before I have to beat your bloody ass.”
Rebekah comes jogging down the stairs, an annoyed expression on her face until she sees me, a smile hitting her instantly.
“Y/N! Thank god, I couldn’t take much more of him on my own.”
She hugs me tight and I smile.
“Missed you too, Beks, now do you know where-.”
“I’m here, Y/N. No need to stress yourself.”
Elijah comes down the stairs, his same casual look on his face.
“You both may take your belongings upstairs to your old bedroom Y/N. Then we’ll talk in the study.”
I give him a small nod and take Harry’s hand, leading him up the stairs. We put our bags away and I lay on the bed for a minute, letting out a long sigh. Harry lays down next to me and takes my hand in his.
“We’re doing this together, like we do everything.”
I only hum and lay my head on his shoulder. We’re quiet for a moment until Harry gets up, pulling me up with him. We walk downstairs to find Elijah and Rebekah already waiting in the study. Elijah gestures his hand to the couch, and we take a seat.
“Harry, Y/N has told me that you’ve asked her to turn you.”
He only nods and squeezes my hand.
“Y/N has never turned anyone, she has always refused. So the fact that she’s even thinking about it means you mean the world to her. But she’s not able to… talk about the process…”
Harry nods again and I have to bury my head in his neck, already dreading this conversation.
“In easiest terms, you would have to consume some of Y/N’s blood and then you would have to die. Now-.”
I shake my head, refusing to hear about this anymore. I stand up but before I can walk out, Harry grabs my hand and gives me a pleading expression. I sigh and sit back down, by my eyes are trained on the floor as Elijah continues.
“With her Vampire blood in your system, you would awaken, not fully transformed, only in transition. You would have approximately 24 hours to consume human blood before you would inevitably die. But there’s many things to factor in. You want children, do you not? Y/N is unable to-.”
I frown and Rebekah interrupts him.
“Actually, Lijah, I’ve figured that out. Davina. Davina has found a way to make it possible. I’ve seen it with my own eyes.”
It’s quiet for a minute before Elijah clears his throat.
“That being said, that is still only a possibility. If Davina is willing to perform the spell, then that would take care of that. But the fact still stands that you would have to die, and Y/N does not want that. I did however offer to do so for her, but she refused. If you are going to turn, she would prefer it on her terms.”
Harry takes his hand and lifts up my head to reveal the tears in my eyes.
“I want to Harry, but I can’t do that to you…”
He doesn’t say anything, he only takes me into his lap and holds me close to him. It’s quiet for a moment until there is a knock on the door. Rebekah disappears for a moment before she returns with 2 people in tow. I faintly look up and I run at the man now with her.
Tumblr media
“Marcellus!”
I jump out of Harry’s arms and throw myself into Marcel’s waiting arms. He smiles and wraps me up in a tight hug. I feel so relieved to see him and I can’t help but let out a small laugh.
“My god, Rebekah said you were here but I didn’t believe her. How are you doin’ baby girl?”
I shrug and he lets me go and gestures to the woman that’s with him.
“Y/N, this is Davina Claire. She’s agreed to help you.”
My mouth drops in shock and I am filled with confusion. She gives me a comforting smile, easing my worries.
“Marcel would talk about you a lot and he has been even more. How you were the only Mikaelson that was never able to accept and adapt with what you were, so I want to help you. It won’t be easy but I’ve done it a few times and it’s been successful every time.”
I start to tear up and I can’t help but cry. Davina hugs me and rubs my back as I continue to cry. She then guides me back over to Harry on the couch and takes a seat across from us.
“There is however a catch. I can only do it to one of you, the mother. Vampire blood ruins a male’s um… half of the process… so in order for this to work… you would have to stay human. At least until she’s pregnant and you both decide you don’t want anymore..”
Harry nods and folds his hands together, resting it on his forehead. After a minute, he takes my hand in his and kisses it.
“Whatever you want my love. I’m with you for the rest of my life.”
I take a deep breath and nod.
“Okay… We’ll have a baby. And then? We’ll get married like we wanted. And then I’ll turn you. But you have to really understand what you’re sacrificing, H. You’ll outlive everyone. Your family. Our friends. You can’t stay in the spotlight forever… Are you okay with that?”
He pulls me into his lap and hugs me tight.
“I want an eternity with you. Nothing else matters to me, Y/N, not after I met you.”
I sigh and nod, leaning my head on his chest.
“Then it’ll be us. To eternity.”

Just a Taste**
Tumblr media
A harryween one shot about an unlucky man and an unfortunate curse! I have been writing this ALL day! LOL This is very different than anything I have ever written in my life, I hope you guys like it!
WC: 7.1k
Warnings: 18+ only! Dark Harry, self-mutilation, Smut with knife and blood play!
Y/N couldn’t put a finger on what it could be, but she just knew Harry wasn’t feeling well. Him sleeping in was an indicator of that, he was a morning person, and now it was 8am and he was still fast asleep, it was off.He was looking a little pale and as she watched him sleep she sat beside him on the edge of the bed and nibbled on her lip as she reached out to feel his forehead, he wasn’t overly hot. As she pulled her hand back he stirred awake. “Morning, love.” He mumbled, his voice was hoarse and deep from his sleep and she smiled at him.
“Morning, babe. You feeling OK?” She asked him with concern.
“I-yeah, just a little weird.” He said and she bit her lip.
“What do you mean weird?”
“Like exhausted, I feel physically drained.” He grumbled and she creased her eyebrows.
“Really?”
“Yeah, have been feeling a little sore the last few days, but now I just feel exhausted.” He said as he fluttered his eyes closed again. She rubbed at his shoulder as he just laid there as she thought about what they did a few days ago and she lit up.
“Baby, we went to that flea market a few days ago, remember?” She asked and he hummed tiredly, “Maybe you caught a bug or something?” She asked and he nodded, “Are you hungry?” She asked him and he shook his head.
“OK. Are you gonna stay home?” Y/N asked him.
“Yeah.” He mumbled and she nodded and she leaned in to kiss the top of his head and he stiffened up a bit, which was strange, but she just let it go.
“I love you, I’ll call at lunch OK? See if you need anything.” She said sweetly and he just nodded.
After a few minutes she was gone and Harry sat up and rubbed at his eyes, this had to be a fucked up dream of some sort. What he told her was the truth, he had been feeling weird and now he felt like did after a vigorous cardio session, he felt like his limbs were jello, almost as if he were dehydrated or starved. And for some reason when she had leaned in to kiss him, with her neck right up near his nose, he could smell her and almost hear the blood flowing through her veins, it made his mouth water and it scared him.
It had bee happening the last few days actually. Since they went out to the flea market. That night she had made them steak fajitas for dinner and just seeing her massaging the seasoning into the meat made his stomach growl in delight. He passed it off as hunger as they had only shared some fries at the flea market and he was quite literally starved. But then the next day at their bookstore one of their employees cut himself with the box cutter and when Harry rushed over to help he found that he could smell his blood and as he hurriedly wrapped a  napkin around his finger and the blood started to soak into it his mouth watered. He had an urge to just wring out the napkin and taste the blood. He had to call in Y/N to help because that wasn’t normal. Later that night in cycling class he could hear the blood pumping hard and fast through everyone’s veins. Their quickened pulses were like a siren song to him, he wanted to get up close to someone and hear their heart pounding away. Then the next morning while he was shaving he nicked himself lightly above his lip and without thinking he reached his tongue up to lick up the blood that bordered his lip and it tasted so good. He did it a couple times before he decided that he just needed the bleeding to stop and not perpetuate it, but it was a little bit hard to stop. After that little taste his mouth felt dry all the time despite him hydrating, he would only salivate when he smelled blood.
He was scared to tell Y/N, his fiancé about this, how would she react? He had been researching things about what he was feeling and ended up on some subreddit about blood kinks and he knew that wasn’t the answer because it wasn’t arousing him sexually, he just was hyperaware of blood. Then he dared to just google vampires and he went down this rabbit hole of vampirism and curses revolving around blood thirst - that seemed more like what he was dealing with. He even checked his entire body for possible bites or strange marks and he found nothing. During his search for answers he ended up finding a bookstore that specialized in mythical and magic texts  and he decided that he needed to go and see if he could find anything about how to make this go away.
Despite the state he was in he took a hot shower and started getting ready to go out to this book shop. He didn’t feel cold per se, but he felt weak, almost as if he were anemic or had low blood pressure. Being the fall, it was a bit chilly out already so he put on his red corduroy pants, a white t-shirt, he then slipped on his socks and went over to his little jewelry box and slipped on a few rings. Rings were his favorite accessory because he liked that everyone could see them and it was nice and inexpensive to grow his selection since he thrifted a lot of them or got them at the flea market or antique shops. He then went over to the front door and shoved his feet into his vans, tucking his index finger into the heels of the shoes to get them into place. He then shrugged on his black coat and dropped his wallet into the deep inner pocket and he put on his earphones and switched on some music before locking up and heading out.
Harry took the tube and what a mistake that was, it was packed and despite blocking out the sounds of thumping hearts and blood roaring through people’s veins he could still smell it off a few people nearby who likely had injuries or other things. His grip on the pole he was supporting himself on was so tight that he could feel his fingers throbbing a bit in pain. Finally, his exit was approaching and he hurried out of the loaded train car quickly. Harry mapped his way to the shop from there and after about a ten minute walk he was turning onto a smaller and less crowded street and he could see his destination just down the dead end street. He rushed over and pushed the glass door open, a few jingling bells signaled his arrival into the dark and desolate shop. It had distinct old book smell but it was also mixed in with incense and what kind of smelled like sage. There were shelves of books inside along with other overcrowded tables and displays of knickknacks that those kooky new-age folks believed in. He started walking down one of the aisles between the book cases, looking left to right, he wasn’t even sure what he was looking for.
“Hello?” He called out as he walked in, removing his headphones and stuffing them into his pocket. The wood boards of the floor creaked under his weight. It was a little creepy in here. He heard some creaking an aisle over and he crouched a bit to look into the aisle through an empty space on the book shelf but he didn’t see anyone there.
“How did you find this place?” He heard from behind him and he quite literally jumped in his place and turned around quickly. He felt cold as the wave of fear passed through his body and made his back feel tingly and for his stomach to twist with nerves. His eyes were wide as he took in the woman before him. She was at least in her late 40’s and had visible streaks of grey in her otherwise dark hair. She was wearing these thick-frame glasses that didn’t exactly fit her facial features. She was dressed like she worked as a fortune teller at a carnival and had an array of rings on her fingers, much like him and several crystal necklaces hanging around her neck. Her neck. He zeroed in on it and for some reason he couldn’t smell or hear this person’s blood. He looked perplexed and she looked at him oddly, it put an unsettling feeling in his body.
“Hi.” He breathed out nervously.
“How did you find this place?” She repeated again.
“The Internet, on an online forum.” He said nervously and she creased her eyebrows as she took him in. There was something dark hanging over him, she could see it in his aura, but it couldn’t quite get to him. Harry felt frozen in place, still reeling from the scare she gave him, but  also from the way she was staring at him, studying him. As if she was looking around him and through him and then her eyes widened and out of nowhere she pulled out a little flask and splashed him with water and she recoiled quickly as he scoffed, the water landed on his face, a droplet getting into his eye, making it tear up.
“What the hell?!” He scoffed in irritation as he rubbed his eye and he could see that she looked at him with even more concern and confusion, “What the hell was that?” He asked her and she stayed quiet as she studied him a bit more before she spoke up.
“Holy water.” She responded, still keeping her distance.
“Do you just douse every potential customer that walks in here?” He scolded her.
“Why are you here?” She asked and he scoffed.
“To find a book or something.” He said, “Why else?”
“Something plagues you.” She said simply and he scoffed. He didn’t believe in any of these weird mystical things but this was his last resort right now, “I can see it around you. It’s dark and it trying to consume you, but it can’t.” She said and he suddenly felt nervous.
“Wait, really?” He asked her and she nodded, “It lusts for the essence of life.” She said quietly and his breath hitched, “I just don’t understand why it can’t get inside.” She said as she stepped closer and he froze as her hand came up to hover over his forehead and down his face, neck, and finally his chest and her eyes averted down to it and she saw he had a chain around his neck and she reached forward and untucked it from his t-shirt, a cross. “Vampires can’t go near crosses, did you know that?” She asked.
“I mean, I’ve heard that from films.” He said and she hummed, “They also cannot withstand holy water, it burns their skin like acid.” She said and he frowned.
“You were just willing to risk that by splashing my face?” He asked, clearly upset.
“I saw the darkness that loomed over you and acted defensively before you could attack.” She said simply.
“What? Why would I attack you? Wait. Did you say vampire?” He asked in concern and she nodded.
“The darkness of the curse of blood thirst is breaking through you. It wants to consume you. You can feel it can’t you?” She asked and his throat felt dry again as he thought about the last few days, “Dark and unnatural urges are consuming you, aren’t they? That’s why you’re here.” She said and he nodded.
“I don’t know what to do.” He whispered with fear and she shook her head.
“It cannot be stopped. You are strong, but it will consume you eventually.” She warned, “The bite always overtakes it’s recipients one way or another.” She stated and he shook his head.
“There’s got to be a mistake, lady. I was not bitten by anything.” He said and she smiled.
“Blood lusting demons are fast and efficient and their mark is evident even if you don’t recall it happening.”
“That’s what I mean, there is no mark. Anywhere.” He explained and she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, “Trust me I checked every spot of my body and there it not even a scratch on me.” He said, “But I do have a need to…taste blood.” He admitted.
“When did this start?” She asked.
“Like four days ago.” He said and she hummed, that was far too long for a vampire bite not to take, “I can smell it and hear it and just yesterday I cut myself and I tried it and it made me want more. It’s…scaring me.” He said quietly. She brought her hand up to feel at his forehead.
“You are not cold. You wear a cross. You did not burn with the holy water, but your aura is clouded with a vampiric curse and you have a thirst for human blood.” She said aloud, “Come with me.” She ordered as she walked past him and he followed her up to the cashier counter, “Wait here.” She muttered and he nodded as she rushed off. Harry sighed and brought his hands up to the counter, his fingers drummed against its surface as he waited nervously. She soon was coming around with several books in her arms and she set them down with a thump. She looked down at his hands resting as if nothing on the juniper and ash wood blended counter, both a deterrent for the undead and a myriad of supernatural and dark creatures. As she looked at his hands she gasped and he jumped yet again in fright.
“Jesus, what?!” He asked, bringing his right hand to his heart, the thumping was hard and fast against his palm.
“Where did you get that?” She asked him with a terrified look in her eyes.
“What?”
“That ring.” She said, pointing with a shaky finger and he frowned as he brought his hand out flat and she pulled it back as to not come in contact with him.
“Which one?” He asked her and she pointed at the gold one around his index finger with a ruby set into the center, “Oh, I got it at the flea market this past Sunday.” He slowed down as he caught on to what she was insinuating, “Is there something wrong with this ring?” He asked softly, as if it could hear him.
“I don’t know yet.” She said and hurried off to grab another book and rushed back, paging through it and she stopped on a page, “Is there an inscription on it?” She asked and he looked at it carefully before taking it off and looking inside of the band.
“Victoriam omnibus is what it says.” Harry mumbled and glanced up to the woman, she looked at him with a bit of sadness, “What is it?” He asked.
“I’m afraid it’s not good news.” She said and he felt his heart dropping and he swallowed the lump that formed in his throat.
“Just tell me, please.” He requested and she nodded.
“That ring is cursed.” She started, “In medieval times legends of vampires started to gain traction all over Europe. They were described as we know them now, blood thirsty, nocturnal creatures, they were free of any plague or disease though, as they were undead.  There is a legend of one man turned vampire, Marcu the Fierce they called him. He lost his entire family to the plague and he himself was dying until he was bit and recovered in full. He believed that vampires were a superior being and that they should attempt to take over the world. But vampires are discrete demons, they live for the hunt. It thrills them to be in the shadows.” She explained, “He ascended to power in his region, hunting in discretion, overcoming in battles with his supernatural strength and using war and violence as his means to hunt and feed. He then invited all vampires in his region to attack all of the humans in their region and overcome them, they declined and did not allow him to take control. This angered Marcu, who was still in power and had great influence. He started killings throughout the region and warned his townspeople again vampires.” Harry nodded along, “Legend says that he killed a young maiden, she was with child and her husband, Tiberiu, was so grief stricken that he wanted to exact his vengeance on all vampires and Marcu decided to use him for his own plans. He taught him all of the weaknesses vampires had and fueled with hatred Tiberiu started to hunt them. Marcu was overjoyed as those opposing him started to to be wiped out, Tiberiu didn’t waste a moment to express his disgust with vampires and he grew arrogant, saying that no vampire would ever escape him, this angered Marcu and he had that ring made. He visited a witch to bestow on it a curse.”
“A curse?” Harry whispered, his entire body was covered in goosebumps.
“Marcu was cruel and twisted. Once Tiberiu had vanquished all vampires that opposed Marcu he said that he would celebrate him, proclaim him victorious over all-”
“Victoriam Ombinbus.” He whispered and she nodded.
“Marcu told him to never take it off, as a symbol of his status and within days Tiberiu became that which he hated most of all. A blood thirst came over him and he became like a vampire. He was not bitten, he was not immortal or fast or supernaturally strong. He could walk in the light, but like you my friend, his need for human blood grew the longer he had that on. In his rage against Marcu, he faced him and Marcu vanquished him drank his blood and disposed of his body, the ring though was lost and you, my unlucky friend, have found that ring.” She said and he frowned.
“So what can I do? I don’t want this! Take it!” He urged her desperately extending it out to her and she cowered back.
“I won’t take it. Whoever touches that ring will be cursed with blood thirst until the day they die.”
“What?” He asked, suddenly feeling sick to his stomach as the words processed.
“The longer you wear it the worse it becomes, the urges are more powerful, harder to control. You become violent and dangerous.” She said and he started hyperventilating. This could not be happening to him, “For the amount of time you’ve been wearing that ring you should have already drank from someone.” She said as she closed the book, “But you’ve been protected from all darkness. My best guess is that silver cross that you’ve got on your neck has been blessed and thankfully has slowed the effect of the curse of that ring.” The woman said and he nodded.
“My mum is very religious and she did have this blessed.” He explained, “Been wearing it since I was 18, I’ve never taken it off.” He said softly, his eyes were tearing up. He had no idea what he was supposed to do now, “What happens now? What do I do?” He cried.
“The need you have will remain this way until the day you die. I’m so sorry.” She said and he started sobbing. This could not be real, he would have a craving for human blood for the rest of his life? What if he held off too long and exploded in a violent frenzy? What if he got a taste and couldn’t stop? What if he hurt Y/N?
“My fiancé.” He whispered to her and the woman looked at him with compassion, “I can’t smell your blood or hear it flowing. Why?” He asked her.
“Protection spells. Glad they work.” She smiled.
“Can you do that for her? For my fiancé? I don’t want to risk hurting her.” He sniffled and she nodded.
“Bring her by whenever you’re ready.”
“OK, fuck…fuck.” He cried again and she sighed.
“These dark forces, they latch to people and I’m not sure if any additional protection will help now, but we can try to get some crystals on you to absorb some negative energy.” She said and he nodded.
“Whatever it takes to help me feel better! Please.” He begged her, “I feel like I am about to collapse.” He shared and she sighed.
“In order to fix that you’ll need to…drink from someone.”
“I can just do it to myself no?” He asked and she shook her head.
“You’re cursed, your blood will not satiate the craving you have. That’s not the point of being a vampire.” She said, “You’ll need to drink from another.”
“No! No fucking way!” He barked and she sighed.
“If you don’t, that darkness will start to consume you from the inside out. This need is part of you now. You won’t become aggressive or murderous like a vampire or like Tiberiu because of that protection, but this that you’re feeling now is going to last a lifetime. I don’t know how long it’ll be before you can go without drinking just some.”
“I can’t kill someone!” He exclaimed.
“And you don’t have to. There are communities that practice blood drinking and vampirism. You can…find one and go as you see fit-” he started to heave and she handed him a trashcan and as he threw up it was just a black color and he started freaking out, “It’s starting. You need to drink.” She admonished and he was panting heavily, feeling even more drowsy than before. What was he supposed to do now? He felt utterly defeated.
On his way home Harry did feel that his need to taste blood had increased, he knew it couldn’t get worse than this, thankfully, but it made him feel weak and dizzy. The woman, who he eventually learned was named was Agatha, had given him an ash wood box to keep the blasted ring in. According to the legend in the book it could not be destroyed, so she recommended that he keep it and be buried with it so that no one else could fall into this curse. He threw up again once he got home and ended up making it into the bed before he passed out.
*********
“Oh my god! Harry?” He heard from a distance, “Harry, babe, can you hear me?” She asked him as he started to slowly blink his eyes open. Y/N was freaking out because she could see that he was even more pale than when she had left him this morning. She had only come because he wasn’t answering his phone and she got concerned and with good reason.
She was afraid and her heart was pounding hard, he could hear it over her voice as she pet at his face and his eyes met hers with concern.
“Babe, I’m gonna call an ambulance. Don’t worry.” She said and stood to rush over to her purse but before she could leave he wrapped his hand around her wrist to pull her back, “What is it?”
“D-don’t call them. They can’t help.” He said and she frowned.
“What do you mean?” She asked with tearful eyes and he sighed.
“Baby, I have to tell you something.” He panted, it sounded like he was winded, like it was taking every last bit of energy in him to speak.
“Anything. You can tell me anything.” She assured as she sniffled.
“I know, love and I will. But I’m about to ask something of you th-that is going to sound insane but I just- I just need you t-to trust me.” He panted and she nodded through her tears.
“OK, whatever you need.” She urged him on and he exhaled shakily.
“I need you to get a knife from the kitchen and bring it here.” He said and she looked at him skeptically but nodded and stood up. Harry pressed himself up to sit and she soon returned with the knife, coming slowly into their bedroom, “Good. Come sit here with me.” He said and she took him in once more, he looked awful. Eyes sunken in and dark, skin pale and dull. She sat beside him with her heart pounding with fear. Harry could hear it, he could hear her blood pumping hard through her veins, he could smell her sweet scent testing him, tempting him. He grabbed the knife from her and he set it down before leaning in and kissing her deeply. He groaned as he bit down on her lip hard and she whimpered at the harsh bite, he didn’t draw blood though as he was hoping. Biting was harder and more painful as his teeth weren’t necessarily made for tearing into flesh though he had an urge to. He pulled apart from the kiss and breathed heavily again her mouth.
“Harry, you’re scaring me.” She breathed nervously.
“Sorry. I’m so sorry.” He whispered as he pecked her lips once more, “I ummm, I just need a taste.” He whispered and she looked into his eyes.
“Wait what?” She sniffled and he swallow the lump in his throat.
“O-of your…blood.” He said carefully and he could see how her eyes were filled with fear as she searched in his. Was this a joke?
“Harry, this isn’t funny.”
“It’s not, I’m not joking, baby. I need your blood. Just a taste and I’ll feel better.” He said and she glanced down at the knife, thinking of grabbing it but he grabbed it first and she froze.
“Harry, put the knife down.” She ordered.
“I can’t. I need to do this.” He said and she cried harder and shook her head, “Please, just put it down.” She whimpered.
“Baby, I’m not going to hurt you. Please trust me.” He said as he brought his hands to the side of her face, the knife still in one of his hands.
“You’re holding a knife against my face, Harry. I love you, but you’re scaring me.” She spoke with a tremble in her voice.
“I’m sorry, I don’t want to scare you but this is necessary.” He said as he reached down for her arm and she tensed up.
“No, Harry!” She panicked as he brought the knife down. She had no idea what had gotten into him or what in the world he was on or what possessed him to do this but she was terrified, “Stop it!” She shrieked as she tried to pull her arm away.
“Baby, please! Please stay still I don’t want to hurt you!” He pleaded.
“You’re holding a knife to me! You’re going to hurt me anyway!” She reasoned.
“Baby, please, please, please-” he begged, “I need to drink. If I don’t drink I’ll die.” He said to her and she frowned in complete shock.
“W-what?”  She stammered as more tears fell. He sniffled and nodded.
“I will explain everything but I just need to d-drink-” he blinked his eyes a few times before he fell back onto the mattress.
“Oh my god! Harry!” Y/N cried as she pressed her chest to his heart, the thump of it was slow and he looked even more pale than before, “Fuck!” She whimpered as she picked up the knife with a shaky hand brought it just above her wrist.
She was so scared as she even considered doing this, but she found a smaller vein branch off from the main one running down to her forearm and she was hesitant as she pressed the blade against herself but without giving it another thought she cut in and down, away from the main vein. Immediately her dark, red blood started to break the surface of her skin. It burned but she shifted quickly to get Harry into her lap and she pressed her bleeding cut up against his lips. Despite him slowly slipping out of consciousness and his world growing darker and darker the smell of her blood grew stronger and it alerted him just a little bit more and then he felt it, hot and fragrant against his lips and it was like second nature as he latched to her cut and sucked the blood beading at her skin. She gasped at the force at which he started to suck and her other hand went to his hair. He then brought his hands up and held her forearm against his mouth, keeping her in place as he sucked desperately against the small incision.
“Harry.” She whispered as she felt her fingertips getting a bit cold from the lack of blood getting there. He kept sucking, “Harry, please, stop!” She whimpered and he suddenly snapped out of it and she pulled her arm away and into her chest. He was panting as she looked down at him, streaks of her blood dripped down the corners of his mouth as he caught his breath. But as she looked at him a bit closer through her glossy eyes she saw that he didn’t look pale or dull anymore. He looked back to normal and she scooted away from him with fear and he sat up slowly as she backed away.
“Baby.” He said quietly as he sat up and she shook her head, “It’s not what you think-”
“I think it is.” She whispered as she held her wrist against her chest. Harry then realized that he couldn’t hear her heart pounding or her blood roaring through the veins in her body, he couldn’t smell it as acutely as he had been the last few days, he didn’t feel his throat dry with only one particular craving that could satiate it. Everything was back to normal, “What’s that look on your face?” She asked and he sighed.
“A realization, I can only hear it and smell it when I haven’t had any.” He said more to himself and she bit her lip nervously, “Do you want me to help you with that?”
“No.”
“I’m good now, I swear.” He said and she looked at him reluctantly and she then made her way into the bathroom and he followed. He helped her clean the cut without any issues and bandaged it up for her and then he kissed against it gently, “I’m sorry I scared you.” He said softly.
“You need to tell me what’s going on.” She said to him anxiously and he nodded and pulled her back out to the bedroom and explained everything to her. He explained how now that he had drank he didn’t feel as out of control or weak as he had before. She was reluctant about the curse, but the look in his eyes told her that he was being truthful.
“Baby, I don’t want to hurt you or do this to you ever again, so I think we need to see Agatha so she can put that protection on you and I can’t lust after your blood.” He explained.
“So you’ll drink from other people.” She said and he bit his lip and shrugged, “How long can you go without?”
“Well, today was the fourth day.”
“So every four days?”
“I don’t know… I don’t know how this will work on me.” He explained, “All I know is that there’s nothing I can do to make it stop.” He said and she nodded through her tears.
“I don’t want you to hurt other people.” She pressed and he sighed.
“I don’t have to, apparently there are existing communities that practice vampirism and I can drink blood from those willing get fed off of.” She shook her head.
“This is insane, Harry.”
“I know. I know, but it’s the truth. I can’t change this and I don’t want to risk losing control and hurting you but I also don’t want to die!” He vented to her and she nodded, “If you…can’t see past this I understand.” He whispered painfully and she frowned.
“Baby, I’m not going to leave you!” she said, “I just…don’t know how I feel about you drinking other people’s blood.” She said, “It can be dangerous.”
“I know that, love. I know. Maybe this is one of those things where with time and practice I can learn to live without it for longer periods of time…”
“I don’t know. With what she was saying about that darkness trying to get to you I don’t want you to hurt yourself either.” She said and he sighed, his face in his hand, she bit her lip pensively for a moment, “You can feed off of me when you need to do.” She said and he looked up at her and shook his head.
“No fucking way.”
“Baby it’s what makes sense. That way you don’t have to find other people to do it and you know it’s safe and I’m healthy.” She said and he sighed.
“Baby I don’t want you to have to keep cutting yourself like that. How are we supposed to explain that to anyone if they see cuts or something?” And she shrugged.
“Knife play? Blood play?” She suggested and he chuckled and shook his head.
“You’re insane.”
“This is insane. We need to get creative because I don’t want you going out there and feeding from strangers!” She said and he bit his lip.
“Does it…make you jealous?” He asked and she sighed but eventually nodded.
“It does. That’s just…not right. You’re gonna suck all over them, leave marks on them with your mouth, taste their blood and then come kiss me? Absolutely not.” She said with crossed arms.
“Well when you put it like that…”
“Yeah, it’s just not…I don’t like it.” She said, “So use me. It’s not your fault that this happened and believe me, baby, I will move heaven and earth to try and help you find a way to keep the urge at bay or even to see if we can somehow undo this curse, but until then the only person who’s gonna have your mouth anywhere on their body is me.” She said pointedly and he smiled a bit, “Stop it. I’m serious.” She said.
“I know, baby. I know.” He assured as he came up to her and kissed her deeply. Slowly, their kiss started to get more heated and in one of those goes she bit down on his tongue and drew blood, making him groan, but they both tasted it against each others mouths.
“S’not so bad, see?” She mumbled against his lips.
“I’m also not going to just hurt you on purpose.” He said.
“Baby, you like a little pain. I like a little pain…maybe we just explore how to take care of your little dilemma under that umbrella of things. S’not like you’ve never made me bleed before.” She said and shook his head with a smirk.
“I know, but I didn’t have the need to taste it before. That’s what’s different.” He said as he pecked her lips again. “Just need to know what we’re getting into before we do something regrettable or that can really hurt you.” He insisted and she nodded.
“You’re right.” She agreed and kissed his lips.
**************
It had been about a week since Harry had drank from Y/N and he was just starting to get the itch for more. He felt great compared to the week prior though and it was lovely to be back to normal. But when he woke up on this day curled up into Y/N’s back, face in the crook of her neck he could practically smell her though her skin. He wasn’t even thinking about it as he kissed into her pulse point and then he parted his lips and started to suck. He added more pressure and that woke her up, it hurt a bit and she reached her hand up to his hair.
“Baby.” She gasped and he hummed as he pulled her hips flush into his, “Too hard.” She huffed as one of his hands slithered to her front and rubbed her clit over her shorts and she moaned softly.
“Need to have a taste of you.” He mumbled as he released her skin for a moment.
“OK.” She hummed and he inhaled her scent, he could smell that she was turned on too and it made him also want a taste of her pussy. Maybe she had been onto something when she suggested mixing his new need with their sex life. She bared her neck and he kissed her once more.
“Can I get the knife?” He asked and she bit her lip nervously and nodded.
“Yeah, go get it.” She said and he rushed out of bed and returned shortly after with a paring knife. She fully expected him to crawl back up towards her but instead he went straight for her bottoms, tugging them down in one go and parting her legs before delving right in with a relieved groan.
His tongue licked up from her entrance to her her clit where he started sucking and she writhed and thrust up against his mouth with her fingers woven into his hair. So much of the blood in her body was rushing down to her pussy, making her sensitive and swollen with arousal he started flicking at her clit quickly until she was tensing up and he suddenly pulled away as she caught her breath after nearly reaching her climax.
“Fuck, please more!” She whined and he smiled.
“Don’t worry, baby I’ll make you come.” He assured as he kissed at her thighs and blindly reached for the knife he had set beside her and gave her sopping folds one more lick before he knelt up fully and leaned down to kiss her lips and she lost herself in it until she felt the cool blade of the knife at her throat and she stayed still, her heart pounding hard and fast as he leaned back and hovered over her. He could hear how nervous she was, but the scent of her arousal was even stronger and he smiled at her, “You like this, don’t you?” She bit her lip and nodded, “Such a kinky and freaky little slut.” He hummed as he skimmed the back of the blade down the valley of her breast very lightly. He watched as he skin broke out in goosebumps at the sight tickle of the knife over her skin. He went lower and sucked each nipple until it was stiff and peaked all on it’s own and he then brought the knife back up and tapped at her right nipple with the flat face of the knife’s blade and then the left before skimming it back down her body as he kissed down her tummy. He pulled back to kneel fully again and was very careful as he tapped at her throbbing pussy with the flat face of the knife blade like to her nipples and her breathing completely halted, “Breathe, baby. Y’don’t trust me?” He asked and she nodded.
“I do.” She whispered and he hummed.
“Open wider for me, baby.” She did as she was told and he bit his lip, “God, you’ve got the prettiest, little cunt.” He praised and she bit her lip timidly, “Stay perfectly still.” He said looking into her eyes and she nodded, her breathing suspended as he brought down the knife to her entrance horizontally dull side rested right beneath her pulsating little hole. Harry hummed as he watched her arousal drip onto the knife and after a few moments he brought it up to his mouth and carefully stuck his tongue out to lick at the blade and he hummed as he savored her taste. “Absolutely delicious.” He whispered to her and she smiled, “Now I’m gonna get a taste, OK?” She nodded meekly, “Gonna cut right here. OK?” He asked as he ran his thumb along her inner thigh.
“OK.” She whispered and he leaned back down and placed three kissed in a row where he intended to leave a little slice and she once again was holding her breath as he brought the knife down and made a small incision. She gasped at the slight sting of it and he tossed the knife over to the empty side of the bed before he got his mouth over the cut. He smoothed his tongue over it and tasted the first few drops of her blood before he got his lips around the patch of skin and sucked to draw a bit more out. As his mouth did this he then ran his index and middle fingers through her pussy, slicking them with her arousal before plunging them all the way in, in one go. Y/N moaned as he curved them up to her her g-spot and rubbed rhythmically, making her stomach knot up in the most delicious way. Her fingers knotted themselves into his disheveled curls and her breathing started to become irregular as he picked up his pace. “Oh fuck, baby! Oh fuck!” She gasped as her orgasm started to build.
After a few moments of drinking he pulled away from the cut on her thigh and licked over this ruby stained lips. The taste for blood was gone, but now he had a taste for her, so he sucked her clit into his mouth and got to work. Her toes curled as a heat spread through her entire body and lit every single nerve on fire. Her back arched and her legs trembled as he moaned against her pussy, doing his best to get her to come. After a few moments she gasped before she let out a loud cry of his name as the muscles of her pussy starts squeezing and spasming around his fingers as she came undone. He moaned into her hot and soft skin and slowed down gradually until she had been properly worked through it. He pulled away with a kiss to her mound and another to the cut her left on her thigh. Her eyes fluttered open to meet his and she giggled tiredly, “That was so good. Really liked that.”
“Yeah?” He asked and she nodded with her lip bitten between her teeth.
“Can I return the favor?” She asked and he hummed.
“Gonna patch you up and then I’m gonna fuck you. So fucking hard for you.” He said as he let himself down to kiss at her lips and she hummed.
“Wait. C’mere.” She said and he leaned back over as she pecked his lips and glanced down to the little bit of blood that had dripped down to his chin and she sucked it between her lips to clean it away and she smiled up at him, “Just a taste.”

"I'm okay, Harry." Her voice was slightly slurred as she felt the straw being pressed against her lips. Lemonade was in the cup to get her blood sugar back up, the sour sweet liquid hitting her tongue in relief. Harry watched intently as she sipped, taking a bit too big of one making her choke.
"Careful, pet." He scolded quietly, wiping away the excess dribbling down her chin with his thumb. "Don't choke. Know it tastes good but you've got to be mindful."
His delicate chastising tone made her pout, but his tenderness towards her worked her belly into a tizzy of butterflies while he tended to her. For being a creature of so many people's nightmares, Y/N found it ironic that he was the one living in her daydreams. The red flooding the normal moss green iris's of his eyes after the blood intake was something that had taken some getting used to, she had to admit, but now that she associated it with pleasure and being tended to... it wasn't anything she feared.
"M'sorry." She said softly, returning to her gentle sips as he brought the straw back to her lips and let her take a bit more. Harry obviously cherished this time with her. He prepared for it, bringing a sweet beverage and a snack for her, making sure she was placed in a comfortable position, ensuring she was at the peak of relaxation before he took from her. He genuinely cared for the girl and her well being. She wasn't just a meal to the vampire.
"There we are. Your heart rate is returning to normal." Cool fingers brushed the baby hairs that hadn't been held back by her bun, the simple action making her sigh. She ran unusually hot, his cold feeling a welcome relief from her normal heat. "You're sure it was alright? Nothing has changed, nothing unusual?" He prodded at her every time to make sure.
Other than wet panties from the arousal the venom of his bites gave? It wasn't a bother at all.
"I'm totally fine." Her warm hand stroked over his shoulder. His shirt was a soft linen, thin and easy to feel her body heat through. That was on purpose. Nothing made the Vampire feel more alive than her human heat, the beat of her heart, her sweet scent lingering on his skin like aftershave when he returned to his own bed. Her silky nightgown covered her enough to leave bit to the imagination while still giving him enough of a peek to have him catching looks here and there.
His little human. So beautiful. Full of warmth. The sweetest thing he's ever tasted.
"Alright. Your eyes are closing." he placed the cup down, feeling her shift to lay on his shoulder. "Do you want to lay down on the bed?"
Y/N was far too comfortable against his cool chest, her cheek bleeding heat against him as she tucked her face against the creature, seeking his comfort. "No, no. Just..." she closed her eyes. "Let me rest my eyes here for a moment." Harry wouldn't object. He would hold her for centuries, if he could. "Alright, little Dove." He murmured, rubbing over her waist. "just for a moment."

put a price on emotion
The Honourable Judge Styles has a dark secret. He prides himself on being notorious for his cutthroat sense of justice. But is he really any better than the ones he imprisons? Or is he a victim much like the ones he acquits?
Put a price on emotion - Masterlist, Author’s Notes & Warnings
Prologue (important part to the story so please make sure you read the prologue first!) / alternatively, read on wattpad
Chapter 1 (word count: 3.5k)
Harry knew this was one of the last cases he’d be presiding in Chicago. He never stayed in one place for more than 2-3 years at a time. Sure the paperwork was gruelling but he preferred it over having to be stuck in the same place for too long.
He also couldn’t stay, even if he wanted to. It was only that long until people started figuring out that this judge wasn’t exactly… ageing.
So every decade or so, Harry had to not only switch states/ countries (that he did every few years), but take up a whole new identity, from scratch. He’d build a stellar career from scratch. He’d done it, time and again. Luckily, he knew how to work the ropes to make it seamless. But it was tiresome, for sure. He’d always kept his given name, switching up his surname. The bar exam was child’s play at this point.
He wondered how long till he’d grow tired of this, too. Before being a judge, he’d been a crime investigator. That had lasted for well over 50 years. He was getting close to that number again, presiding over cases.
He didn’t know if he’d pick it up again after Chicago, or if it was time to switch it up again. He’d decided to take a bit of time off to see where “life” took him next.
He mulled over all of this back in his chambers, after he’d removed his cloak and lit up a cigarette. Nasty habit, to be sure, but since he couldn’t exactly develop lung cancer he figured, what’s the harm?
He’d taken a lover once that really didn’t like the smell- but she found it incredibly hot when he smoked, and with her out of the picture there really wasn’t any reason not to indulge from time to time. He of course couldn’t develop an addiction to nicotine, either.
What he did have an addiction for, to his dismay, was blood. He could go for a long time without it nowadays, but still he needed to get his fill soon, he could feel it.
Usually, if he was really busy, he’d resort to blood bags. Ever the walking cliche, he had a friend working in a hospital that provided him with the necessary amount should he need it.
But that was a last resort kind of situation. Because as much as Harry disliked most of what being a vampire entailed, he did enjoy the thrill, the chase, the very laborious ritual of preying on his next victim, seducing them and then having them succumb to his charm.
Because, yes, Harry seduced his victims. He didn’t like calling them that, but he supposed it was a morally grey area that he’d needed to make amends with early on in his “existence”. He’d battled with feelings of guilt for the longest time, but he came to realize that the only person he was hurting in doing so was himself.
His victims were never aware of what he was using them for. He’d feed from them without them ever knowing. Sometimes these victims were one night stands, sometimes they were lovers like the woman who lowkey liked his smoking.
But he never got serious with anyone, for obvious reasons. Just because his heart wasn’t beating anymore didn’t mean he didn’t have one still.
And if he was being honest with himself, nobody really did it for him anymore. He could see things much more clearly as a vampire, could see things for what they were, and most of the time, things just weren’t that great up close as they appeared to be from a distance. He grew tired of his lovers, bored even, and he knew it was unfair to them, but he had so much more life experience, so much more wisdom and emotional maturity that it made it hard finding someone that would intrigue him anymore. How could he ever expect someone with a few decades under their belt to ever match up to his centuries?
Thankfully, that didn’t really get in the way of his sex life. Because that, he could never tire of. Centuries of experience didn’t dampen his libido, if anything, it kept fueling it.
Harry enjoyed being good at what he did. Be it in the courtroom, or the bedroom. He also enjoyed being in charge. Notice a pattern, there?
He didn’t feed from all his sexual partners. He always saved it for particularly enticing lovers, nowadays. Because he always drank from them in the throes of climax, after he’d made them come over and over again, he’d finally give in and absolutely loved combining his delayed release with the sweet nectar his partners provided him, particularly after flooding their bloodline with endorphins. It was the biggest high.
He sighed, returning to his notes he’d taken that afternoon, thinking to himself he’d probably have to resort to his friend at the hospital this time around. He just hadn’t found anyone… biteable, as of late.
He wasn’t the kind of vampire to just feed off of anyone, he wasn’t a brute, after all. He had his standards.
But his ability to stay focused was starting to decline. He knew the telltale signs all too well by now. He needed to feed in order to operate at a functional level, ideally at an efficient level.
The way he had to make a conscious effort to focus on the notes and not let his mind wander off was quite telling. He kept thinking about the young woman, and how he was worried she’d sabotage her own case with her apparent dismissal of her attorney’s advice.
It was a simple case of self defence. If she played her cards right, she’d make it easy for him to issue the verdict in her favour.
But why did he have a feeling it wasn’t going to be that easy?
Even if he was planning on going under the radar soon, he still couldn’t issue a verdict that would be, at least apparently, unjust. And if she didn’t heed her attorney’s advice, it just might be the case.
He decided to call it a day and head home. He’d see what he could make of it all after the next hearing, when the young woman would testify and also some eye witnesses would take the stand.
He did stop by a bar he frequented on the way. Just on the off chance someone caught his eye. No luck, though.
He decided to give it a few more days before he called his friend at the hospital. He could muster through, he knew he could.
Or was it that he tricked himself into thinking he could? Was it maybe that he’d had his eye on someone all along, and therefore automatically excluded all the other possibilities?
And maybe it was deeper than that? Maybe he should’ve paid more heed to what others have always warned him of? Sometimes it wasn’t as simple as it seemed.
Sometimes bonds were formed.
*
“Defense counsel, you may present your case.”
The young woman’s attorney nodded to the judge. “I call Grace Gwyneth Cohen to the stand.”
Grace walked to the witness stand and the bailiff approached her as she was about to be seated. “Raise your right hand. Do you solemnly swear that the testimony you are about to give is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help you God?”
“I do.”
“State your name.”
“Grace Gwyneth Cohen.”
“Miss Cohen, let’s go way back,” her lawyer approached the bench and the young woman listened intently. Harry noted she seemed a bit more likely to cooperate with her attorney today, which pleased him. It would make his job infinitely easier. “First, let’s get an idea about why you were at this bar to begin with. A lovely young woman such as yourself, surely you don’t find yourself in such dingy places normally…”
“Objection! Irrelevant.”
Harry raised an eyebrow to the plaintiff. The defence hadn’t even started yet and already this guy was breathing down his neck. “Sustained.”
Grace’s attorney turned his attention back to his client, continuing “And even if you did frequent this sort of establishments, that doesn’t have to mean anything, of course. I’m just saying, it’s not your usual scene, is it?”
“I guess not.”
“You only went that night because you were meeting up with someone you’d met online, is that correct?”
“Yes. A client.”
Harry didn’t miss the attorney’s deadpan. This was surely not the way he had intended it to go. “A client. Let’s go over what you do for a living, then, shall we, Miss Cohen?”
“Sure.”
“You’re a sex worker. Is that correct?”
“No.”
Harry took note of the attorney’s clenched jaw once more.
“What would you call what you do, then?”
“I’m not really sure, but I’m no prostitute.”
“Sex workers aren’t prostitutes. There’s a wide foray of services that fall under that category but don’t include an actual sexual act. Let’s see if what you do falls under this category. I believe the proper term would be that you’re a “cam girl”, is that correct?”
“Yes.”
“Which basically means, you record yourself for a paying audience, correct?”
“Yes.”
“Do you undress for your audience?”
“Depends.”
“How so?”
“Well if you’re asking if I’m ever in the nude, then the answer is no. I don’t ever take off all my clothes. I tease them a little, but there’s never been any nudity.”
Harry furrowed his eyebrows. How she ever got people to actually watch without her ever fully undressing was intriguing. Not to mention earn a living out of this.
“Do you only get undressed with clients you meet up with?”
“No.”
“Wasn’t this why you were meeting up with this client at the bar that night?”
“That’s what he thought was going to happen. In reality, I was planning to string him along for a bit, hopefully get him to give me some money in the hopes that I would give him more than he saw of me online.”
“Is this your only source of income?”
“At the moment, yes, because I’m a student. My curriculum doesn’t leave me with enough time even for a part time job with a fixed schedule. So I have to… freelance. I tried a number of remote jobs before I opened my onlyfans. I get to keep my anonymity, I never show my facial characteristics online, I get to make up my own schedule depending on what little free time I have and so I thought… it wouldn’t hurt to at least give it a try. I didn’t expect for anyone to chip in considering I don’t even fully undress, but surprisingly, I do have people stream my live shows. I haven’t really had time this month to stream, because I’ve had exams to study for. So money was tight. This guy was in my inbox begging for me to meet up with him. Again… I had no intention of actually going all the way with him, at most I thought maybe I’d earn a free meal out of it. I didn’t want to offer a private show for him instead either, didn’t want to risk leaving any digital footprints… I deliberately chose that pub, it’s a crowded place on a Saturday night. Figured it would be… safe.”
“But it wasn’t safe, was it, Miss Cohen? Going back to the night in question. You had set up a meeting with one of your online clients. Had any promises been made beforehand as to what would happen during this meeting?”
“I’d vaguely alluded to the possibility of more happening, but no promises had been made, no.”
“Would you mind giving us a rundown of what happened, exactly, at the bar?”
“Of course. I met up with him at the Silver Church, on the evening of the 27th of July, at 8. He said his name was Dave, and that he’d be waiting for me at the bar. When I greeted him, I immediately had an unsettling feeling about him, but I still tried to play the “date” to my advantage somehow and try and see if I could milk some money off of him. I flirted with him but never agreed to go back to his place like he kept insisting. Eventually, I asked him for some money and told him I’d be buying a lingerie set to wear on my next live stream, just for him, and consider going out with him again. He didn’t seem to like that very much, but he did give me the money, eventually. He kept insisting he’d take me back to his place even though I’d made it clear I wouldn’t be doing that, yet. I wasn’t ever planning on going through with it, of course, but I was leading him on. I don’t know if he figured out I was playing him, but he then insisted he’d walk me home. Which of course, was out of the question. I realized he wasn’t going to take no for an answer and I excused myself to use the lady’s room, but in reality, I was looking for a backdoor exit. I figured I’d already gotten my money, and that if I wanted to get rid of him now would be the time to try and make a run for it.
“I made a beeline for an exit I’d spotted at the other side of the bar when I thought he wasn’t looking, and I thought I’d been pretty stealthy and quick, but somehow he caught up to me. Before I knew it, he was right there behind me in that back alley, no one else in sight. I was expecting him to ask where I was going, something of that nature, but instead he outright attacked me!”
“What did you do then?”
“I, well– I don’t remember.”
“Would you say the assault made you lose conscience?”
“Yes, he pounced on me, and bit me –”
“And would you say you hit your head when he jumped you?”
“Yes, but–”
“So you don’t remember defending yourself?”
“Well, no. No, I don’t.”
“That's all. I have no further questions.”
Harry sensed the attorney’s irritation, and how the defendant clearly wanted to say more. He hoped, again, that for her sake she’d not walk right into the trap the plaintiff was no doubt setting up for her. “Plaintiff's counsel, do you have any cross-examination of this witness?”
“Yes, your honour. Miss Cohen, I couldn’t help but notice how you wanted to say something when your attorney so rudely interrupted.”
“Objection!”
“Sustained. Your point, plaintiff?”
“Just trying to get the full picture, here, your honour. Going back to the night of the murder, Miss Cohen. You mentioned Mr. Montgomery attacked you. Bit you, I believe is the term you used. Why would a grown man bite you? Wouldn’t there be other alternative ways, more effective ways of stopping you from leaving the club?”
“That’s what I thought as well. I was shocked by his action, I was expecting him to force himself on me but he went straight for my neck and bit… hard.”
“Why do you suppose he’d do such a thing”
“Objection!”
Harry sighed, knowing he had no choice but to let her get to her point. He already knew what she was going to say, by the look in her eyes.
The same terror he’d seen in them that fateful night.
“Overruled.”
Grace had gone pale, her gaze had zoned out. Eventually she spoke out, her voice shaking, not at all similar to the tone she’d accustomed the court thus far. “It’s because… because he was… a vampire.”
The court gasped in unison in shock, and Harry had to exercise his gavel for the first time that evening. “Order! Order in the court!”
The judge had to insist on reinstating decorum and then the plaintiff resumed. “A… vampire. Just for the record, Miss Cohen. Your statement is that Mr. Montgomery was a vampire?”
She nodded reluctantly. “I know how this sounds. I know! But he didn’t just bite me… no, he… his eyes, his clear blue eyes turned pitch black. In the blink of an eye. When he lunged at me, his fangs were… on full display. It was only a fraction of a second before he lunged at me, but there was no mistaking what I saw. Trust me, his canines were perfectly normal over at the bar. So were his eyes. And the pain… the piercing pain he inflicted when his fangs tore the skin on my neck… I can still feel it sometimes. It’s like nothing I’ve ever felt before.”
Harry watched as she instinctively brought her nimble fingers to the side of her neck, tracing the skin there.
The plaintiff cleared his throat, barely masking his amusement. “What happened then, Miss Cohen? Did he drink your blood?”
“Objection! Leading question!”
“I… like I said, I don’t remember. He tackled me to the ground. I must’ve either hurt my head or just passed out from the… assault.”
“So… you don’t remember fighting back.”
“No.”
“How do you explain the state in which the two of you were found then?”
“I… don’t know…”
“For the record, a member of the club’s staff was taking out the trash in the back alley when he stumbled upon what appeared to be two people lying on the ground. One of them severely injured. And that person wasn’t you. No, Miss Cohen, when the ambulance arrived they performed a thorough physical examination both on site and later at the hospital, and concluded you weren’t injured. In fact they couldn’t find so much as a scar on you.”
The court gasped in unison again and the judge gave them a warning look without having to use the gavel.
“Mr. Montgomery, on the other hand, wasn’t as lucky. He was declared dead, killed by a puncture to his heart inflicted by a switchblade.”
“Order!”
Grace watched as if in slow motion how the people in the court switched from looking at her with curiosity to giving her accusatory glances, and she couldn’t help but let tears well up in her eyes. She faintly heard the judge’s gavel but not even that could steady her beating heart. She had pleaded not guilty at the counsel of her attorney, but the truth was… she didn’t know what the truth was.
She must’ve been in shock, her memory of the incident completely blocked as a defence mechanism or something. The last thing she remembered was hitting the ground, the vampire hovering over her. She definitely did not remember stabbing him, hell, she’d never even seen that switchblade before. She’d have recognized it if it was hers. She did carry a pepper spray but she of course had no chance to retrieve it, the guy had been on her within the blink of an eye, his morphed features shocking her into a frozen stupor.
Initially she thought she might have done it in self defence, and the shock was just blocking her memory of it. But then the lab concluded that her fingerprints weren’t on the switchblade. In fact, it had been wiped clean.
She couldn’t fathom ever going through the trouble of doing all that, and not flee the scene of the crime at least if she was trying to conceal her actions.
Nothing added up. The rest of the interrogation was a blur. She was taken back into custody until the next hearing. Back in her cell, but somewhere nicer than where she was headed- she was always reminded by whomever escorted her there.
She was left alone with her thoughts yet again, back to staring at those barren walls and trying to make sense of all that was happening to her, trying to make peace with the fact that this was probably what the rest of her life would be like.
Harry was staring at a much different wall, a wall decorated in all his accolades and honorary achievements back in his chambers. But he had the same thing on his mind.
This was unjust, and the feeling made his skin crawl. He wasn’t used to such a feeling. The only time he’d felt that before was when he’d been robbed of his own life, just like Grace was getting robbed of hers.
He kicked his feet off his desk and grabbed his briefcase, deciding to head home. His hand hovered over the light switch, pausing before he finally left.
He’d find a way, but it just might be that it would have her live in limbo for the rest of her life, not unlike himself.

COMING SOON
Tumblr media
Summary: The annual Halloween party at the local pub has Y/N excited when she decides to invite her boss at the University, Mr. Styles. But she soon begins to second guess her decision when Harry starts acting odd. Is Harry Styles really who she thinks he is? Will this Halloween be a fantasy come true...or the kiss of death?
Sneak Peek:
Despite the unusually warm night, Harry could see his breath in front of him, instantly dissipating into the air. He pulled the collar up on his black coat as he continued down the sidewalk.
