Finally cooked a chunk of my Juicy Marbles™ log.
Now, since I was a rare steak fan before I went veg it's unfortunately just, not quite there yet. It's almost identical to a medium steak maybe, I like the texture of Beyond steak tips much better simply because there's more chew to them (and they're a lot less pricey) but overall it's pretty good, I might try one on the grill if I get the chance.
It tastes like it would be indistinguishable from real meat in any soup or maybe as a roast brisket. But alone as a steak it's definitely not a perfect replica, but certainly better than anything else on the market looks-wise.

Found at Sprouts! This was actually pretty good and for once, there was more meat than veggies. The steak had a good texture but was a tad bit bland in my opinion. We added the noodles to make a satisfying meal for two. They also had a kung pao chicken (which we got so I'll review that one later) and a broccoli and beef.

none of the various seitan recipes I've made recently have been that great if I'm going to be honest but this one that basically mixes lentils and wheat gluten has been not as inedible as the tofu and wheat gluten loaf that I attempted like a few months ago. It has a squishy texture which isn't as nice but it works. I'm probably going to make wraps or something with this.
It definitely lacks flavor because I didn't add a ton of salt barring what's in like a tablespoon of soy sauce and maybe a tablespoon and a half of steak sauce.
The marinade you soak this in is what gives it flavor and to get this nice dark color I used dark soy sauce along with fire sauce and the McCormick's hamburger seasoning.

Yesterday I made bone broth for the first time, today I learned how to make demi glace, I have a freezer full of moose steaks...
Universe wasted an opportunity making me an aroace, because I could feed you dinner so good, I'd make such a good date, it's a damn waste.
