Fluffy Heater (VG story)

This was based on one of the ideas an anon sent me yesterday, and I wanted to make it a story. Hope you enjoy- this could also be a gift for the VG simps lol

It was a cold winter day, ground outside blanketed with snow with more snow to come. You have been staying with VoreGrunt for two days since the snow made it harder to drive around, and nobody really cares enough to plow the roads at the moment. At least you're not stuck in the middle of nowhere. VoreGrunt has been very nice and you were very thankful for that, it was nice to have some peace away from the madness of Nevada. At the moment, VoreGrunt is inside the house while you're outside playing a bit in the snow, making snow angels, snow forts, you name it, you just wanted a fun time in the snow for a while. Before a gust of strong frozen winds passed by and right on cue you start to feel way more cold than you already were, so much that you just wanted to go back inside. Shivering the whole walk back, you felt like it took forever because of the snow slowing you down, but you get to the door and get inside, it's sadly not as warm as you would like it, but better than freezing outside. You look over to the couch and see VoreGrunt wrapped up in a blanket sipping some hot cocoa they made while watching tv, "h-hey.." you spoke, still shivering from the cold. VoreGrunt looked over at you "Oh hey y/n..oh my, you look freezing..would you like some cocoa?", you quickly nodded.

VoreGrunt got up, their scarf stretching all the way to the kitchen to start getting the cocoa ready, and VoreGrunt themself walks over to you, helps you take your snow stuff off, and wraps their blanket around you to keep you warm, then bringing you over to the couch. You couldn't help but notice how much warmer it got when VoreGrunt was near, you didn't bother to say anything right now though. You sat on the couch where VoreGrunt was before and just curled up in the warm blanket as VoreGrunt joined the end of their scarf in the kitchen.

After a few minutes, VoreGrunt came back with a cup of hot cocoa in their hands...well, the scarf is around it to make sure VoreGrunt's hands aren't burned, "Careful, it's still pretty hot..want it on the table?", you nod a little, the cup was then carefully placed on the low table in front of the couch. Afterwards VoreGrunt sat next to you, they were close enough that you could tell that there was a lot of heat coming from them. Thinking about it, it does make sense that they would be pretty warm, cause of the fluff and chonk. Speaking of chonk, you kind of zone out looking at it a bit, and VoreGrunt notices. "Are you ok?", you break from your thoughts and nod. VoreGrunt smiles a little at you, then sips their own cocoa again. You decide to get a little closer to VoreGrunt, and you felt pretty warm. Without thinking, you place your hands on VoreGrunt's stomach, they warm up and VoreGrunt gets flustered in the process. "O-oh my-", "warm..." you decide to rub their stomach a little to warm your hands more. "O-oh..I suppose it does make sense that I'm quite warm..if that helps you warm up, I'm not gonna stop you", VoreGrunt said. "Why didn't I think of this earlier?..heheh..." VoreGrunt chuckled.

You then hug VoreGrunt's stomach and kind of lay against it, it warms you right up, you even listen to it a bit. Soft gurgles and sloshing noises come from it, the hot cocoa in there already probably making it warmer. You then hear purring as well coming from VoreGrunt. You lay on your side, head against VoreGrunt's stomach, then you grab you hot cocoa since it's cool enough to drink now, and take a sip. You and VoreGrunt then watch tv together and just enjoy the warmth.

A sci-fi setting with elements you’d expect: A cybernetic soldier, megastructure based city, a robot girl, radioactive wasteland, space station and a bit more.

On top of that: 2 boss fights, which is pretty new to the game.

Passwords: l13fd1", "x444ng", "am4l14", "y13g0r", "clr1ty", "kl3rrr", "tf00r1", "zrkv1l"

* Prefab: Railroad handcar that needs both characters and simply pressing S to move (And R to stop).

* At least one level features a “low gravity” scene that due to specific reasons only the main Player character has access.

* Hazard: Asteroids for said low gravity level.

* “Animated” illustrations are a thing now: Know those yellow painting things? And pressing comma for “screenshot” stuff?

* Enemy: Robot that can shoot a bouncing grenade that explodes after some time.

* Enemy: Small mutant creature that, when it sees you, starts chasing you (Can even climb up walls) and tries to eat your head off.

* Enemy: Alien brain/scorpion hybrid that shoots an energy orb that splits if you’re close enough.

* Enemy: Cyborg soldier that starts off invisible/invincible before he turns off those states so he can shotgun blast you. If you kill him in this vulnerable state, he activates a bomb post death.

* Boss 1: A floating house monster that tries to smash you with its hands but those have weak spots.

* Boss 2: A crazy cyborg general shooting you from above, but you must turn off the generators of his energy shield, so a friend you’ll make in this chapter gets to attack the boss.

* Prefab: Treadmill floor with boxes you can jump on and laser hazards.

* Prefab: A weapon you shouldn’t touch because of its security system.

* Prefab: A moving crate on tracks.

* Guest appearance: Xemarokk, a tall warlord by MarkerSlayer/PraiseAltman111.

* Version of the horizontal moving platform that has a longer path (Like the previous main update did with the vertical one).

* Cutscene pause menu has language settings (Did this to test both languages).

This world was even more ambitious than Massag-Coav.

Something specific was to see the “fake crossover” aspect so hard, that I really tried to push Yiegour as a potential FPS character.

For the next update: Hope you still remember Bonka because you’ll see her again.

Also: If you check my Newgrounds/Tumblr accounts, I posted somewhere a post linking to files of my game just because of a weird thing happening with GitHub.

I usually update that once a day and as usual: Make sure your Godot is 3.5.1.

The game is also like 5 “main” updates away from being “Mostly finished” (There’s still tweaks to be made like some art fixes, sounds, music, maybe languages etc).

It’s a bit surreal seeing how far I got here and I hope I keep going with this.

Time for some numbers: 14 cutscenes and 34 levels.

dude i really don't get these people who talk badly about eivor

we still need more female representation in the media, that much is obvious, but i think slowly we're getting there.And that's the thing 'female' means all women and to basically say that all women are the same is just disgusting

not every character has to be the epitome of you(i mean them but you get it) or whatever you consider makes a woman.maybe i don't entirely relate to ada from re2 for example bc i'm not a femme fatale who uses himbos to get what she wants BUT spoiler: i still love her and think she's badass even if she's not my mirror.that's a type of woman and it's great that they showed it alongside other types.

same with eivor, i personally am not a masculine woman, but i do not flirt with cops to get out of fines or something either lol (or whatever is feminine to do) BUT i wholeheartedly and absolutely love eivor even if she does not represents my whole personality, even if she doesn't look exactly like me, i can find myself in her (and the fact that she's so strong and brave and angry, i think that is a real female experience)

i think we should all aspire to be badass no shit taking shieldmaidens who persecute christians in their free time :)))(before anybody comes for this i was born christian so i can slander my own)

on a more serious note, these people who complain all the damn time about anything should learn that it's not their way or the highway and that through history there have always been women who refused to crawl and stood up and broke boudaries, or else we wouldn't be where we are today.(or who crawled so the next could walk and so on)

also i think eivor's way of being is very fitting, since the vikings valued physical strengh and therefore men over women, the women who wanted to thrive too had to adopt a more masculine aproach to life, and in the game we can see that even through eivor is well respected by most her male comrades, there still is dag that doesn't want to answer to a woman(otherwise to me it doesn't really make sense, i mean it she was a guy, why would dag have a problem with sigurd's literal bro ofc he would value his real brother more), but sigurd's put her above everyone military so ofc it bothers him. but we also see she is still seen as a woman when she talks to that queen, and just seeing another woman there eases her, cause we know r**e has always been a war weapon, but ofc in the literal 1st scene with her as an adult, kjtove prolly only wants to give her a slap on the wrist then send her on her way.🤡

I agree with you anon, nobody is arguing about having more female representation in vg. Having diverse rep should be celebrated, instead of being trashed on because certain depictions don’t fit into a narrow set of expectations (like what’s going on here). I’m similar like you that there’s no way I have the muscles mass that Kassandra and Eivor have, I can never be as elegant as Evie and persistent as Amunet, nor I’d be as adventurous and brave as Nadine and Chloe, I sure as Hel won’t be as strong as Senua when facing my own demons, and no I won’t be able to run a bureau without prior training like Jesse Faden on the first day on the job. That is the beauty, isn’t it? We should celebrate the fact that this time around, we get to play as a gnc and queer woman. When I was a kid, I’d often talk to the Vietnamese teenagers/women in my house/neighborhood about their experience outside of my hometown while hand-washing clothes together and they’d tell me so many stories; or watch how badass the landlady in Kungfu Hustle is lol. Similarly, vgs educate me about a wide spectrum of women from different backgrounds and places by letting me (a cishet WOC) experience their stories that I wouldn’t have otherwise known about. 

AC doesn’t have a full-fledged character customization so when you play the game, as players you’re supposed to walk in the character’s shoes. If you can’t empathize with a female protag’s story because she doesn’t look like how you expect women to look, and then you bash on her appearance, demanding things to be YOUR way, well. The devs who made Kassandra and Eivor had to “crawl so the next can walk” (nice on, anon!) don’t deserve to be trashed like this. Again, we get changes by acknowledging and celebrating the progress made so far, rather than dismissing it as “lazy” work.

Also, good point about Dag because I get that questioning vibe from him too and it does make more sense if you play as Eivor instead of M_Player; yes, about the queen; and yes about the sexual violence threat that Kjtove made in the opening scene is definitely more disturbing for a woman (I don’t think there’s any debate about this part).

i was listening to the kingdom hearts playlist i have and then started thinking about how my school's band program owns the sheet music to a videogames medley, and the third part of it is one of the, like, kh themes and i want to play the song SO badly but the wind ensemble literally played it like two years ago so :') no hope there,, which s u c k s because it sounds really fun to play on the horn because it sounds like we have the melody or a counter melody a lot :((

Sometimes I feel the voting gauntlet was a mistake to being with. It's salt vs salt no matter who is in it. I'll admit I don't care for either said. But Lucina already won a gauntlet and seeing her again in the finals again has me very disappointed. But what can you do?

trust me when i say you’re not alone in not caring for either side. i’ve had to delete a bunch of asks from petty anons complaining about the final when really no one realistically expected alphonse or chrom to win. much less both of them.

that said the voting gauntlet was anything but a mistake. its a good way to stock up on feathers, and grab a few orbs and coins, all while livening things up in the fanbase. very few events in feh drum up as much interaction between fans as the voting gauntlet. you might not like the contestants, or even the general theme of the gauntlet, but that doesn’t mean it was a mistake. 

sure, there are always going to be a handful of ppl who use the VG to make general fools of themselves to put it mildly, but i’d blame that on the persons in question, not on the event itself.

as for ‘what can you do?’ vote. if you’re not thrilled about lucina being in the finals then vote kagero. if you’re giving up because she made it this far or giving up because it isnt the final you wanted then you’re only hurting yourself.

So @smoothyousef got this Anon and I couldn’t resist turning it into a Yousana ficlet! Hope you don’t mind, Anon!

This is set in Sana’s third year and none of the Yousef storyline that happened in S4 has happened in this universe.

Sana stared with horror at the response to her jokey message to Jonas Benyoub.

“Hey, I’d love to sing Youm Wara Youm at your wedding. Just tell me when and where!”

At any other time she would be so excited to see such a reply. It would be amazing and awesome to have him come and sing at her wedding!

The only problem was that she had no wedding in the works. She was tragically single and now way too embarrassed to tell Jonas Benyoub that she hadn’t thought he’d reply let alone ask her for her wedding details.

Noise from the book room filtered into her room and she bit her lip. Perhaps she could throw a pretend wedding just so he would show up. It could really be a graduation from VG present to her but look like a wedding and then Jonas Benyoub would come and sing her favourite childhood song and be none the wiser.

This was too good an opportunity to lose on a technicality. All she needed was someone to pretend to be her groom and there five boys in her front room who could pretend to marry her for this reason. Well, four. She wasn’t sure Even was the best choice; not when he could never keep his hands off Isak long enough to pretend to be marrying her.

Taking a deep breath, she pushed her laptop back on her bed and stood. She could do this. It wasn’t like it was a lot to ask really. She didn’t want one of her brother’s friends to really marry her - and they’d done plenty of dumb shit for worse rewards than this. She didn’t dwell on the one complication to this plan; that she had the world’s biggest crush on Elias’ best friend, Yousef, and her heart pounded the possibility that he might agree to pretend to marry her. She wasn’t sure if that was what she wanted or whether that would be the worst thing to ever possibly happen.

Deciding that she just needed to go ahead and ask, Sana strode purposefully into the book room, refused to look at anyone and said, “I need one of you to marry me.”

Silence greeted her announcement and she turned her gaze from the books to the boys who were sitting on the couch and the floor.

“What?” she asked as they continued to gaze at her.

“Have you spoken to Mama about this?” Elias asked, bemused. “She might have an opinion about this.”

Sana rolled her eyes. “I don’t actually need one of you to marry me. Just to pretend to marry me.”

“Er…why?” Adam asked.

“I might have asked Jonas Benyoub to sing Youm Wara Youm at my wedding and he agreed and is asking when it is.”

“Just tell him you’re not getting married,” Even said reasonably. “And that you didn’t think he would reply.”

“I can’t do that!” Sana said emphatically.

“Why?” Mikael asked.

“Because!”

“So you’re going to throw a fake wedding just so Jonas Benyoub can sing to you?” Elias asked.

“Not any song, Elias, but Youm Wara Youm. It’s my favourite ever song!”

“Well, when you put it like, it sounds totally logical,” her brother said sarcastically.

“I thought it could be my graduation party but we’ll just pretend it’s a wedding for Jonas so I just need someone to be my groom.”

“I’ll do it,” Yousef said quietly.

Sana allowed herself to look at him for the first time since she’d entered the room. She generally tried to keep her eyes away from him not wanting to give her crush away, but now she allowed herself to drink him in. There was sincerity in his gaze and a small smile on his lips and she couldn’t help but smile back, allowing her dimples to peep out.

“Don’t encourage her,” Elias said, elbowing him in his side. “Just tell Jonas Benyoub to come and sing at your graduation.”

“No, that’s so humiliating!”

“More humiliating than having a pretend wedding?”

“Yes!” she said, her stubborn streak coming out the more that Elias queried her thinking.

“You can’t make my friends pretend to marry you,” Elias said, just as adamant.

“I’m not making anyone do anything,” she said huffily. “Yousef offered.”

“Yeah, Yousef offered!” Mikael said, waggling his eyebrows. Even cracked up next to him whilst Yousef sent them both a death glare.

“We all know Yousef is happy about this,” Mutta added. “So it’s not as if it’s a hardship.”

Confused, Sana looked at Yousef. He had an embarrassed expression on his face and his cheeks had reddened slightly. She couldn’t help but wonder at his reaction and how he’d been the only one nit to query her need but just agree to it. Hope bloomed in her chest that maybe her crush wasn’t as unrequited as she thought it was. His eyes met hers, a warmth in their depths that caused her heart to go into overdrive. Their gazes lingered on each other and it was only when Even and Mikael fake coughed obnoxiously loudly that their eyes skittered away from each other.

With an unimpressed expression on his face, Elias said smugly, “Good luck in persuading Mama and Baba to agree to this.”

Unfortunately, Elias proved to be right. Her parents sat and listened to her proposition with a remarkably straight face but both refused to even consider turning her graduation party into a fake wedding for one song.

Sana put the disappointment that she felt at her parents not agreeing down to not being able to have Jonas Benyoub come and sing for her, but really she knew it was because she didn’t get to pretend to marry Yousef now. As soon as he had offered that had become the highlight of whole plan.

However, the sting of having to come clean to Jonas was hugely offset by the Facebook friend request from Yousef and the message of commiseration he sent as she pressed to accept him. She could cope with having to admit that she wasn’t actually getting married if she got to talk to Yousef.

So I was at someone’s house and somehow WE (yes, you and me) met but we never managed to talk because there were other people as well, and everyone seemed to be in a hurry. Later, we met again and I couldn’t see your face clearly but I swear you were really pretty (the funny thing is I didn’t even know how you look like 👀)… Then you started teasing me with stuffed animals, like caressing my skin and my body parts with them (😭??) while I was sitting on a chair, and when I looked at you again, I saw that you were actually the BYUN BAEKHYUN lkjdsjhsgshj… so from now on, it was him who teased me even later, every time our paths crossed in the house as I wanted to kiss him but something was always in our way skdkdjjggs

At some point, I decided I was going to be in charge this time, so I grabbed Baek and we hid behind a curtain-like thing in someone's room and... I got down on the floor with him and I was going to finally kiss him, but there was no wall around the room and the hallway was just right there and all these people walking around could have seen us (if you know what I mean, I can’t explain well, sorry)…. but I was so h0rny that I couldn't take it anymore and I wanted to kiss him so bad, we were already so close, but the people walking by saw me and sksjshk it was so embarrassing, lol
